Alpha Bets It All!
In Monaco, the city is filled with hotel and popular attractions. But in the bay, the egg capsule is washed near the docks until the boat hit it, causing to open it as the card sunk down the water. The dinosaur card is glowing and activated when it touched the water. Somewhere in the docks, the fishermen are having a conversation until something emerged from the water behind them. The dinosaur is Suchomimus, who roared and lunged over the fish storage. The fishermen moved out of its way as it reached over it.
"Ahhh! What is that?!" The fisherman said.
"It's a sea monster!" The other fisherman said as the dinosaur eats the fishes. "And it wants the fish! Go on, take it! It's yours!" They think the dinosaur is sea monster while it finished eating and dived back in the water.
It left the fishermen terrified and shocked of what they saw.

At Taylor's residence, Max, Rex, and Aki were outside watching Ace and Chomp eating in a large dog bowl. The half portion of dog food made of vegetable is for Chomp while the other half is made with meat is for Ace. They finished eating and look up to them as if they want more.
"You're still not full?" Max exclaimed.
"They sure can eat, can't they?" Aki smiled as Max pour more dog food in the large bowl.
"Yeah well. They're still young so they need to eat a lot." Max told his mom.
"I'd say Chomp eats a lot more than any dog I've ever seen. I'll have to start ordering dog food by the truckload." Aki said while Max chuckles.
"Hugh. This is nothing, mom. Just wait 'til they're full-grown." Max said, causing Rex cringing at him.
"You're not saying they'll grow bigger than this, are you?" Max's mom said as Rex cover Max's mouth.
"Uh, Max is just joking around, Ms. Taylor?" Rex ensured.
"Well, that's a relief." Aki said when Max mumbled in agreement. "Hold on and I'll bring back seconds for these little guys." They sighed in relief after she left.
Suddenly Max's and Rex's dino-holders alerted them as the dinosaur has revealed itself.
"A dinosaur!" Rex said.
"Chomp, Ace. It's time to go!" Max told the dinosaur and they rushed to the D-lab before Aki comes back outside with dog food bag.
"Oh?" She looks down at the large bowl. "Well, I guess they decide to eat and run."
The D-team and Terran arrived in the D-lab when their dino-holder alerted them.
"There it is. Right on the Mediterranean coast." Spike pointed the location. "It looks like... Italy."
"Close, but that's actually Monaco." Reese corrected him.
"Monaco?" Terran said.
"The second smallest country in the world." She noted.
"That's right and of course, we all know that the smallest country in the world is Rhode Island." Dr. Taylor said.
"Rhode Island is not a country, dad." Max said. "Let's head out, you guys."
Before they leave, Dr. Taylor stops them. "All right. I'll be right behind you."
"Uh. You do know that we have something to teleport us there since we have a stone." Terran mentioned.
"But we'd be back before you made it halfway there." Max said, making Spike flinched.
"Okay, can you at least bring me back a souvenir coffee cup?" Dr. Taylor asked.
"How about a new dinosaur card instead?" Max suggested as they headed to the teleporter.
They pressed the button on their holder and teleported to the Monaco.
Meanwhile, the Alpha Gang is lounging on the beach. Ed is fanning Ursula with palm tree leaf and sweats under the sunlight while Zander is holding the umbrella. The problem is that Ed and Zander are wearing nothing but boxers.
"It's hot, Ursula." Ed whined.
"I know. In fact, it'd be lovely if you'd bring me an ice-cold lemonade, Ed." Ursula told Ed.
"And how am I supposed to do that?" Ed asked, making Ursula sat up on the lounging chair.
"Go buy one!" She snapped.
"You spent every penny we had on that royal family souvenir auction." Zander piped up.
"You even sold our plane tickets home." Ed added.
"Then you tried to pawn the Alpha hold, but no one would give anything for it." Zander said.
"Then you made us sell your clothes right off our backs." Ed mentioned. "You kept saying those Princess Grace sunglasses were made for you." Ursula chuckles nervously.
"We're practically naked but at least you have your precious knockoff sunglasses." Zander said.
"Hey! These are real! They came with warranty!" Ursula puffed. "And men's underwear looks just like swimsuits anyway."
A crowd walked by and snickering at Zander and Ed in their underwear.
"Something tells me they're not admiring my trunks." Zander blushed in embarrassment, making Ursula sighed.
Just then, Ed's Alpha scanner beeped, indicating the dinosaur has revealed itself here.
"Hey! Dinosaur! And according to this, it's close too." Ed told them.
"Don't tell me. Dr. Z was right?" She asked.
"He did predict one would show up here" Zander said.
Suddenly Dr. Z contacts them in the Alpha scanner.
"How about that? My fortune-telling is right again." Dr. Z said.

Dr. Z contacted them in the room with Rod and Laura.
"Now thanks to me. You're already in position to grab this dinosaur!" Dr. Z said before noticing something. "Zander and Ed. What are you wearing?"
"W-W-What do you mean, sir? We're just awaiting your orders!" Ed stammered.
"Well, I hope you're also waiting for some pants." Rod said.
"What happened? Did you guys forget to pack your bathing suits or something?" Laura asked.
"Funny you should ask, Laura. We're undercover so we're blending in with the crowd." Zander replied.
"That's blending in?" Rod said.
"Anyway, we've got a dinosaur to catch." Ursula said.
"You better do it too!" Dr. Z yelled them before signing off.
"What do you think the chances are?" Rod asked his grandfather.
"Bad." Dr. Z answered.
"But they did get a big headstart with grandpa predicting the location." Laura said, hopefully.
"That's right! If my prediction goes to waste, they'll wished they'll never heard the name: the Alpha Gang!" Dr. Z goes on ranting about his prediction.
"I don't believe in that fortune-telling junk anyway. There's no science to it." Rod said.
"That's it!" Dr. Z stops ranting.
"What's it, Grandpa?" Laura asked.
"I will make a new prediction as to whether or not those three bozos will succeed." Dr. Z exclaimed.
"Here we go again." She said as she and Rod leaving grandpa alone.
"Now my trusty dino bones." He went to the map table and chanted. "Shake a bone, shake a bone, Shake a bone stew. Reveal to me what my team can do." He spreads the bones on the map.
"All right, boys. Let's get out there and find that dinosaur." Ursula told the two.
"Right!" They said, but stopped.
"All right, you coming?" Ed asked.
"Oh. Don't you think at least one of us should enjoy the beauty of Monaco?" Ursula suggested.
"We're not here on vacation!" Zander exclaimed.
"You've got Spiny and Tank. What else do you need?" Ursula said.
"Isn't it bad enough we have to do this in our underpants?!" Zander said.
"Yeah, Ursula. We need you and Terry too since we don't know what kind of dinosaur we're up against." Ed added.
"Good grief. I can't catch a break on the French Riviera." Ursula sighed in defeat, reluctantly go with them.
The D-team and Terran arrived near the docks.
"So, I guessed this is where it showed up." Max said.
"From what I read about Monaco, It's not only a resort. It has tropical wildlife preserves and marine museums. And there's even a world-famous aquarium here." Rex explained.
"And I read that celebrities from all over the world come over for their vacation." Zoe added.
"Yeah." He said.
"Maybe we'll see one!" Zoe said.
"Yeah. The Monaco Grand Prix is a really famous car race." Rex added when the fishermen comes running by with the spears.
"Let's get it!"
"Come on!"
"What's going on?" Max asked, stopping him.
"Hmm. A monster came out of sea! We've got to chase it away before it devours everything." The fisherman said, making them gasped.
"Did that monster kind of look like a dinosaur?" Max asked.
"Come to think of it. It did, but how did you guys know that?" He asked.
"We think that this animal is very territorial species that supposedly extinct long time ago." Terran said.
"Yeah, we came here to catch it?" He asked.
"How are you gonna do that? This thing's huge." He asked before noticing their dinos. "Hey, what are those little things?"
"They're just our dogs." Zoe replied.
"Those aren't dogs." The fisherman said.
"It's coming for me!"
They saw more fishermen ran away when one man tripped over.
"Hey, are you alright?" Rex asked.
"The monster came back and it attack us again!" He said.
"But where is it now?" Max asked.
"It wiped out the rest of the catch, then it dove back into the sea. But it'll be back, we've all got to get out of town." He said.
"Don't worry, mister. We'll catch it for you." Max said.
The fisherman gasped when he saw Ace eating the fishes in crate.
"Ace, get out of there!" Rex chided Ace.
"That thing looks just like the sea monster only smaller." The guy pointed at it.
"You say catch dinosaur, but you've got a little dinosaur walking around with you." The fisherman said, brutally.
The kids and Terran flinched and took a step backwards.
"It isn't what it looks like." Rex told them.
"It looks fishy." He said.
"We're here to help!" Max pleaded, but The fisherman didn't listen and locked them in the room in small boat.
"I'll hold on to these and don't even try to escape." The fisherman said, holding the dino-holder and shut the door.
"You're making a big mistake! We need them!" Max insisted.
"How do you think we knew the dinosaur?" Rex asked.
"Yes, that's what we'd liked to know." He inquired.
"If we don't capture this sea monster you've been babbling about, it'll keep devour more and more fish supplies until they're empty." Terran reasoned.
"And if you don't believe us, you can contact the D-lab that sent us here." Zoe said.
The chibi dinosaur was locked in the caged with Ace chewing the bar.
"What's that? A lab that sends out kids and baby dinosaurs? That sounds even more suspicious!" He lashed out.
A few yards away, the Alpha gang was watching the whole thing.
"Just great, those kids beat us here." Ed complained.
"Doesn't matter, they've managed to get themselves locked up somehow." Zander said.
"And now the dinosaur is our for the taking so let's go!" Ursula said, determinedly.
"I don't know, Ursula. The beach is bad enough, but do we really have to walk around town in our undies?" Ed asked her.
"Oh, just act casual." She said.
The fisherman and the other left the boat.
"Hey, come on! Let us out!" Max called from the room.
"You can't just leave us here!" Rex yelled.
"Where are our animals?!" Zoe asked as Max look where their dinos caged in.
"This is all because Ace had to go eat those guys' fish!" Max blamed Rex.
"Don't blame him! You get sick of dog food too, eventually!" Rex retorted as Max slumps down.
"Forget about that. This town's in real trouble if we don't catch that dinosaur soon." Zoe said.
"If only we could get our dino-holders back, then we'd have a chance to fix all of this." Rex said.
"Yeah, how do we break out?" Max asked.
"But what kind of dinosaur wanted to eat all the fishes and scaring those fishermen away?" Terran piped in.
Suddenly the boat is beginning to rock, making them yelped in surprised as the Suchomimus walks out of water and now is heading to the city. Max and Rex saw it from the porthole.
"Hey, that dinosaur looked like a Spinosaurus." Max said.
"Yeah, except it was a little bit smaller." Rex said, "I think it was Suchomimus."
"Suchomimus?" Zoe asked.
"It's a dinosaur that was excavated in Africa. It was carnivorous but it was thought to live on fish so that would make sense." Rex explained.
"Then it must've scared those guys away and eating all the fish that they catch." Terran said.
"The only way these fishermen are going to believe us is if we catch that dinosaur." Zoe said.
Max noticed the Alpha gang outside and pointed at them. "Guys, the old lady's here." He said.
Ursula heard someone called her 'old lady' while looking around.
"Grrr! I don't ever want to hear those words again! I am not an old lady! I'm a bonny young girl!" She exclaimed.
"Who are you talking to, Ursula?" Ed asked as Ursula calmed down.
"I was just thinking out loud. That's all." Ursula told him, crossing her arm.
"The Alpha gang's here?" Terran asked.
"Yeah, just outside." Max replied.
"Are those fishermen still out there?" Rex asked.
"Let's check." Max started calling to them. "Hey fisherman, let us out! We know what that sea monster is!" The fishermen are outside, sitting by the crates.
"Hey, pipe down!" He lashed.
Spike appeared in Max's dino-holder, contacting them.
"Hey Max, have you located the dinosaur yet?" Dr. Taylor called.
D-lab
"I'm not Max, and who are you?" He asked.
"Who am I? I'll tell you who am I! The question is, eh, who are you. That's...who?" Dr. Taylor said.
"That made absolutely no sense at all. You wanna try that again?" The fisherman said.
"Yes, I would, thank you! I'm the renowned Dr. Spike Taylor of the D-lab." Dr. Taylor introduced himself.
"Never heard' a ya." He said, making Spike fall over.
"Look, can you at least tell me where my son, Max, and his friends are?" Spike asked.
Max begins pounding the door.
"Listen here! I'm gonna keep on punching this door until you open it!" Max pounded on the door until they open it, accidentally punched fisherman's stomach. "Oh, sorry about that." He apologized.
"Some guy claiming to be your dad is calling on your little TV thing." He said, wincing in pain.
Max got his dino-holder back and now speak to his father.
D-lab
"Dad, it's a Suchomimus!" Max told his dad.
"You need to catch it quick, son. But to do that, you'll have to show these men what you can do with the cards and proved that you're for real." Dr. Taylor explained the plans.
"Really?" Max said.
"Give them a little taste." Dr. Taylor said, winked.
"Alright!" Max smiled.
Max turned Chomp into a card and zaps it to his hand, making the fishermen gasped in surprised.
"Your sea monster are Suchomimus and we'll use this to catch it." Max said, then show them. "Dino Slash! Go Triceratops, Roar!" He swipes the card to his dino-holder. Chomp is summoned to full-sized Triceratops. It surprised the fishermen and Chomp turned back into a card.
"I can't believe what I just saw." The fisherman stunned to believe.
"What do you think now, fellas? Are you convinced?" Spike said.
"I don't know what to think." He said.
"You've got to let the kids do their thing." Spike insisted.
"Mmm. Should we let them go?" He asked the other guy.
"Even they're on the level, we can't have dinosaurs running all over town." He said.
"Hmm. We'll let one of you go." The fisherman said.
"Thank you, sir!" The kids said.
"I'll go!" Max said.
"Why you?!" Rex exclaimed.
"Me and Chomp would be best!" Max retorted.
"Ace and I would do better!" Rex argued.
"No way!"
"Yes way!"
"Sorry, Max. Rex should go." Zoe said.
"Huh? Why are you taking his side?!" Max asked.
"You saw how fast that dinosaur was. Ace is the only one we have with enough speed to keep up with it." Zoe reasoned.
"I agree. The Suchomimus might be roaming the city to look for a fish to eat. So Ace and Rex would be a best choice." Terran agreed.
"Hmm. I suppose." Max said, reluctantly.
"Awesome!" Rex said.
"So, I guess it's decided then." Max said.
"We'll catch it and be back in no time." Rex said.
"Good luck to both you and Ace." Zoe said.
"Rex, be careful out there. This dinosaur hungers for fish. So you and Ace better capture it before the Alpha gang does." Terran warned Rex.
"Don't worry, Terran. You can count on us!" Rex said, giving them a thumbs-up.
The Alpha gang searched the dinosaur in the Oceanographic Museum.
"What exactly are we doing in the aquarium, Ed?" Ursula asked Ed.
"The dinosaur's last position was right near here." Ed said.
"I haven't been this embarrassed since I was pants in gym class." Zander said, embarrassed.
"Then maybe you should hurry up and find the dinosaur." Ursula chided Zander as Suchomimus swims in the aquarium, catches the fishes and eats them.
"Never mind! It just found us!" Ed said as Suchomimus hit the glass and breaks it, flooding them and the room. The dinosaur escapes the aquarium.
"It's lucky we were dressed for this. Huh, Zander?" Ed said while holding on the statue.
"Very fortunate." Zander said while hold on the sign.
Back with the D-team, Rex and Ace is sitting in the back of the truck with full of fish, looking out for the dinosaur.
"I hope luring this dinosaur out isn't a mistake." The fisherman hoped.
Back in the docks, Max, Zoe, and Terran watched from the docks.
"Do you think Rex is going to be okay?" Zoe asked.
"I still think it should be me that went." Max huffed, crossing his arm.
"Come on, give him a little more credit." She said.
"Yeah, but you know Ace. Even if our plan of using fish does work, he'll probably just help the other dinosaur eat it all." He said, imagining Ace and Suchomimus eats all the fish.
"Rex can control Ace better than that." Zoe sweat-dropped, trying not to imagine it.
"Let's hope they find it." Terran hoped.
Rex is looking off at the side from the back of the truck as they drove near the edge of the water. The back of the dinosaur peeked out of water, then disappeared back in the water. Rex stayed focused where the dinosaur appeared.
"Hey, where did it go?" He said.
Suddenly, The Suchomimus popped up in front of the truck. The fisherman was frightened by it and drives away from it as Suchomimus began chasing after it.
"Well, I guess your fish bait worked!" He said.
"Yeah, but can you stop the truck, please?!" Rex said.
"Are you kidding me?! No!" He responded as he drives faster.
Rex looked back at the dinosaur as the fisherman kept driving.
"Mister, pull the truck over!" Rex said, but he keeps driving. "Guess we'll have to do this hard way."
Rex turned Ace into the card and zaps to his hand. "Dino Slash!" He swipes the card to his dino-holder. "Carnotaurus, blow them away!" Ace is summoned in full-sized Carnotaurus.
"A battlefield! That means Rex found the dinosaur." Max said.
"Come on, you guys. Go!" Zoe cheered.
The Alpha gang came out the alley as soon they noticed the battlefield changed. They saw Rex on the truck with Suchomimus chasing it and Ace ran by as well.
"That little brat!" Ursula exclaimed.
"He's already got his dinosaur out there." Ed said.
"Fine, we'll send one of ours out too" Zander pulls the Alpha scanner and Spiny's card. He slashes the card in his Alpha scanner and Spiny is summoned in full-sized Spinosaurus.
"Spiny, follow those dinosaurs and step on it!" Zander ordered as Spiny goes off chasing them.
The fisherman makes a quick U-turn on the road. Suchomimus was close behind it, followed by Ace, who skid a bit and run after it. Spiny jumped over the small peninsula of land to gain more ground on the dinosaurs.
"I knew this was a bad idea! I got myself into the dinosaur Grand Prix and the winner gets me for lunch!" The fisherman scowled as he drives down to the docks with three dinosaurs behind him.
"Awesome! You almost got him. You're doing great." Max said.
"You can do it, Ace!" Zoe cheered.
"It looks like Spinosaurus has enter the battle." Terran noticed the Spinosaurus in the chase.
Rex throws some fish at it, hoping the Suchomimus slowed down a bit for Ace to catch up. Spiny was beginning to slow down and exhausted from the chase.
"Spiny looks like is running out of gas already." Zander said.
"Then do something about it!" Ursula exclaimed.
Spiny stopped in the middle of the road to catch his breath. Unexpectedly, Spiny jumps on the roofs and run and jumps over roof-to-roof by taking a shortcut.
"Look, He's taking a shortcut!" Zander sees Spiny jumping over the roof.
"But isn't that cheating?" Ed asked.
"No, it's only cheating when you get caught." Ursula told Ed.
The truck continued to raced down the road. Spiny jumps down in front of the truck, causing him to gasped and swerved by turning the truck over to its side. Rex screamed as he was thrown from the truck. Spiny lunge after the Suchomimus, but Ace knocked him away from it.
"Good job, Ace." Rex said.
Spiny lands on ground and lunges after Ace. Ace turned around and smacked him with his tail, sending Spiny skidding on the ground. Ace charge after Spiny and clamped down in his neck, hurling around and tossed Spiny to the ocean, defeating it. Spiny's turned back into the card as it washed up to the shore.
"All right!" Rex cheered, but without warning, Suchomimus attacks Ace. "Watch out, Ace!" He yelled as the dinosaur hit Ace in short distance. Ace was feeling tired from chase he raced. Suchomimus roared and charged at Ace. Ace swings his tail, but Suchomimus jumped and kicked him away.
"Oh no!" Rex cried as Suchomimus ran toward Ace and clamped down on his neck. "Ace, you used all your energy in the race and now you're too tired to fight." He said as Ace roared in pain while Suchomimus biting his neck, Ace kicks it off of him and gets up.
"All right, now let's finish it, once and for all." He activates the move card. "Cyclone!" The pillars of wind gather around Ace, charged and hit Suchomimus to the road and turned into a card, defeating it.
"Way to go! You did it, Ace!" Rex said, retrieves the Suchomimus card. "We've got another dinosaur card." He turns to the fishermen. "I think you guys can go back fishing now."
"So, I guess you kids really are dinosaur hunters, aren't you?" The fisherman said.
"Nah, we're not dinosaur hunters." Rex said.
"Huh?" He said.
"We're more like dinosaur friends." Rex said, smiling.
"Really? Either way, you're pretty brave." The fisherman said as Ace roared.
The Alpha gang looked at the Alpha scanner. "Hmm. We've lost Spiny's signal." Ed told Zander and Ursula.
"That's strange. I wonder where he could have gone." Zander wondered.
Ursula gasped, causing Zander and Ed to look to Spiny's card washed up in the shore. "That's Spiny's card floating out there!" They dove on the ocean to swim after the card.
Back with the D-team, Rex reunites with his friends.
"Great job, Rex. I knew that you and Ace be able to catch that dinosaur for us." Max congratulated Rex.
"Really, Max? That's not how I remember it." Zoe said.
"Uh..." Max said.
"Right after they left, wasn't it you who kept saying that would just end up eating all of the fish bait himself?" She questioned.
"Can't you just back me up when I exaggerated?" Max blushed in embarrassment.
"It doesn't matter now, what matters is we did it." Rex said as Ace barked.
"I'm sorry we doubted you kids. To make it up to you, we'll let your dogs eat all the fish they want."
"Too bad, Chomp, Paris, and Wisp is a herbivores." Max said, sighed
"That's okay because Ace did all the work anyway." Zoe smiled.
"At least you can back to fishing with no sea monster attack." Terran said.

"Once again, you failed me completely!" Dr. Z yelled at them through the screen. "Not only you lose the dinosaur card, you made the Alpha gang and underpants wearing laughing stock. As punishment, I refuse to pay for your tickets back home!" Helga came in the room.
"What?!" They exclaimed.
"But we don't have any money!" Ursula said.
"And it's hard to get a job without-" Zander said when Dr. Z signs off.
"Dr. Z, Your dinner iz ready." Helga tells him.
"What do you want?!" Dr. Z screeched, but froze to see Helga.
"I see. A little cranky, are we? I guess you won't be eating after all. Too bad, I made your favorite: Liverwurst Pancakes." Helga said, before walking away.
"Wait, please! I love liverwurst!" He called back to Helga.
The Alpha gang is stuck in Monaco and decided to make money by selling the food on beach.
"Step right up, folks! Best food on the beach!" Ed announced
"With prices to match! You can't beat the Alpha gourmet!" Zander called.
"Corn on the cob roasted to perfection and seasoned just the way you like it! Come and get it!" Ed yelled to the long line as he fans the corn on the cob.
"The way this stuff is selling, we could be flying back home as soon as tomorrow! Not only that, we should be able to scrape together enough to buy a couple of pairs of pants." Zander said while cooking.
"Not until we hit the party scene. With these glasses, my picture will be on so many magazines, I'll be famous." Ursula said while lounging.
"Yeah, but they'll be talking about you so much. Your ears will be burning." He said.
"Watch it, your ears are burning!" She scowled.
Ed looked back at the corn on the grill, gasping. He picked one of it up, but yelped when it burned his hand and tossed the corn to Ursula's ear, who screamed in pain.
"My ears are burning! My ears are burning!" Ursula screamed while running to the ocean.
"Ursula, did you bring that corn back?" Ed asked her. "The customers are waiting!"
"Oh, I'll bring it back alright! When I do, you'll be getting an earful." She shouted at him.
