The Big Apple Grapple
In New York City, the Alpha hovercraft is parked next to the Museum of Natural History which means the Alpha gang is in the museum.
"Wow, these dinosaurs fossils are impressive, aren't they?" Zander said while examing the Barosaurus fossil. "I'm really starting to enjoy museum."
"Bah, What a collection of rubbish." Dr. Z scoffed. "It's just a bunch of bones that have been turned into stone."
"I know what you mean. Who wants to look at dried-out old skeleton bones when you focus on beauty in the flesh like mine." Ursula said.
"No! As usual, you have no idea what I mean!" He exclaimed.
"Oh." She said.
"What I meant was dinosaurs are worthless unless they're alive and kicking." Dr. Z said.
"But I always thought dinosaur bones were good for teaching you all about history and stuff like that." Ed told him.
"And that's I don't pay you to think! If anyone's going down in history, it's going to be me and my dinosaur kingdom!" Dr. Z exclaimed. "Anyway, we're not here to discuss my memoirs. Somewhere in this museum is a rare amber 'dinomond' that was discovered and we're to steal it."
(Flashback)
Dr. Owen and his workers has made a discovery on a dig. They found an amber in the Seismosaurus fossil.
"This ember is enormous. Imagine finding such a thing in the stomach of a Seismosaurus." Dr. Owen said.
(Flashback end)
"Oh, if we had that amber dinomond, we could use it to power our whole island headquarters, right Dr. Z?" Ursula said.
"Exactly, somewhere in this museum lies that priceless relic and we're here to find it." Dr. Z said.
"But how are we gonna do that?" Ed asked, looking the map.
"Well for starters, you could try turning the map right side up." Zander told Ed. "You know, it could be a long day. Why don't we start at the concession stand and maybe get some ice cream?" He suggested before Ursula kicked him and Ed away.
"Could you possibly focus on the mission instead of your stomachs for once?" She chided them.
"Hopeless, but the snack bar sounds good. Now that you mention it, I wonder they have sauerkraut." Dr. Z said, walking to the snack bar.
"Great idea. I'll go with you." Ursula said, going with him.
Ed and Zander heard a growling sound and looked up at the fossils, thinking it's alive.
"This one's still alive!" Ed exclaimed.
"Let's look for that dinomond somewhere else, like on the other side of museum!" Zander exclaimed as he and Ed ran to catch up to them.
Behind the corner of the wall, the museum security is all tied-up and gagged.

Taylor's residence
In night time, it is Rex's birthday and Max and his parent is setting up the dinner on the table. Ace is playing tag with Paris as Zoe and Reese comes in the house.
"Hey guys, we're here." They greeted.
"Hi." Max said.
"You have great timing, Welcome, girls. Come on in." Dr. Taylor said. "And where's Terran?" He noticed the android is not here.
"He said that he went to get something for Rex as a surprise gift." Zoe replied.
"Well, hello it's so nice to see you both again." Aki said.
"Hello, Aki." Reese greeted her.
"I sure hope you two brought your appetites." Aki turns to Max. "Max, go get the guest of honor."
"Okay." He said, went to get Rex.
In Rex's room, his calendars have marked its date as the day of his birthday. Rex is standing outside the balcony, looking up the stars.
"Rex, you in there?" Max knocked on the door. "Everybody's waiting. You ready to come?"
"I guess." Rex said.
"Huh, what's the matter?" He asked. "You don't seem excited. Come on, it's your birthday, Rex."
"I think you guys are making too big a deal about this whole thing." Rex said. "Today is just the day dad picked me up. It's not my real birthday."
"That doesn't make any difference. It's still the day you met the guy you called dad so it's a special day and that's what really matters." Max said.
"Yeah." He said.
"A birthday is just a day to celebrate yourself and you deserve it." Max walked to him. "Come on, Rex. Let's go celebrate."
"Okay." Max takes to the living room.
Meanwhile, Dr. Owens is speaking with Dr. Taylor on video calls.
"What's all the fossils about?" Dr. Owen said the joke.
"Dinosaur bones!" Dr. Taylor replied.
"We are fossil finding friends, dino doctors to the end!" They said as Terran finally came in the house with Wisp and saw them quite disturbing as Rex and Max saw them, embarrassing. "Dance in swamps and bones we roam, hulling dino fossils home!" They sing and dance in greetings.
"Oh boy" Rex facepalmed from the weird sight.
"Ah, there you are, Rex. How's the birthday boy?" Dr. Owen sees Rex.
"Hi dad." Rex said to him.
"Happy birthday, twelve-year old!" Dr. Owen said.
"Yeah, happy birthday, Rex!" They cheered as Max and Zoe set off the party poppers.
"Wow, thank you, Dad. This is great. Thank you all." Rex thanked them.
"Make a wish." Aki said, holding a cake to Rex.
Rex stood there, looking at the cake and thinking what he wishes for before blowing the candle. They cheered him and applauding.
"It's your favorite. Chocolate cake with strawberry filling and lemon icing." Max's mom said.
"Here you go. Reese and I picked this one out." Zoe gives the gift to Rex.
"This one's from." Max gives his present to Rex.
"This is from Dr. Taylor and I." Aki gives one to Rex as well.
"Wow, I don't know what to say. Thanks, you guys." Rex said before turning to Terran. "What about you, Terran?"
"Yeah, you said you have something that is a surprised gift for him, right?" Zoe said.
"Well, let's just say I dig up something unexpected and surprising at the same time." He pulled something from his coat and it was small and wrapped in gift. "So happy birthday, Rex." He gives one to Rex.
"Whoa, what's this?" He opened the gift that Terran gave. "Wow, it's a new dinosaur cards."
"No way, where did you get them?" Max asked.
"Now that you mention it, how did you find these cards?" Rex asked.
"I have been come across the egg capsules while I was contemplating. I was testing these cards to see if they're real. The ones you're holding is Nasutoceratops, Dilophosaurus, Tarbosaurus, Ouranosaurus, The Mosasaurus move card, a Dimorphodon move card, Quetzalcoatlus move card, Pyroraptor, Oviraptor move card, and Gallimimus move card." Terran explained.
"That was the best gift, Terran." Zoe said.
"Yeah, thanks for the gift." Rex thanked him.
"Rex." Dr. Owen called him.
"Yes, dad." He replied.
"I'm sorry, once again I wasn't able to get the gift I really wanted to give you, but I did get you something else instead." He said.
"What is it?" Rex asked as his eyes lit up.
"Did it arrived yet, Spike?" Dr. Owen asked Spike.
"Yes, it sure did." Dr. Taylor gives Rex a gift from Dr. Owen. "Here you are, Rex."
"That's really nice of you. Thanks dad." Rex thanked his dad.
"Well, go on. Open it." He told his son.
Rex unwrapped his gift as they looked at it and it's a book.
"100 Sure-Fire Ways to be Popular with Girls…Even if You're a Dinosaur Geek Who's Always Out Hunting for Fossils?" Rex read the title of the book.
"That's right! Reading this book totally changed my life when I was your age, my boy! Read it and it'll do the same for you!" Dr. Owen said, wanting to encourage him to read it.
"Leave it to you! I never a book like this even existed!" Spike said, moved by the gift. "You're always step ahead with the ladies and with the fossils! Isn't that an incredible present, Rex?" He asked him.
"Sure is." Rex replied.
"Max, when he's done reading it, maybe you should read it too." Spike told his son. "Maybe I'll flip through it myself."
"Oh really?" Aki said when he froze up and felt the glare from his wife behind him.
"Ah, I think something's burning at the kitchen!" Dr. Taylor quickly pointed at the kitchen.
"Oh no, the chicken!" She rushed to the kitchen. The kids and Terran sighed at it.
"So what do you think your dad was talking about when he said he couldn't get you a present he really wanted to get you?" Zoe asked.
"Yeah, what did he mean?" Max asked as well.
Rex looked at his screen while he was ranting about the book, he gave him. "I'm really not sure. I guess there's something he's been wanting to give me, but he's never told me what it is."
"Oh." Max said.
"I guess your father wanted to keep it surprises for you, but he said he couldn't get it for you yet." Terran assured Rex.
"By the way, Dr. Owen. Are the reports true about you finding a huge amber inside of a Seismosaurus skeleton the other day?" Dr. Taylor asked him.

"Oh, you mean this one?" Dr. Owen shows them a large amber locked in the case.
"Whoa" Spike awed.
"It's humongous." Max said.
"That is the amazing specimen." He said.
"Remarkable, isn't it?" Dr. Owen said. "It may be the largest ever found! Luckily, we've doubled up our security."
"Maybe you should've tripled it!" A familiar voiced boomed in from behind him.
Dr. Owen turned around and sees the Alpha gang and Dr. Z at the doorway.
"Who are you?" He asked. "And how'd you get in here?!"
Taylor's residence
"The Alpha Gang!" Max exclaimed.
"Let go of me, you hooligans!" Dr. Owen said, struggled.
"Leave him alone!" Rex said.
"Hmm. Whadda ya know? We have an audience for our little performance." Dr. Z said in the screen while Ursula restrains Dr. Owen from moving.
"Yeah, and so far, your show stinks." Max retorted.
"You haven't seen the best part yet when we get away with the dinomond and you get left with nothing but an empty screen!" Dr. Z signs off the call.
"Dad, no!" Rex cried.
"Poor Dr. Owen!" Dr. Taylor said.
"What are they doing in there anyway?" Max asked.
"He said they were stealing some kind of dino something." Zoe replied.
"I think he said dinomond." Reese said.
"They're there to steal the amber!" Spike exclaimed.

"Curses!" Dr. Z said, trying to the break the case open. "Why won't it break?! How am I supposed to get my treasure out of there if it won't open up?!" He hissed.
"That case is made of a derelium acrylic I invented and even high explosives will never crack it." He said, making Dr. Z looked at him. "It can only be opened with a special key."
"So, what are you waiting for? Hand over the key!" Dr. Z demanded.
"Why do you want that amber anyway?!" Dr. Owen inquired.
"Since you can't stop me, I'll tell you why. Amber's this large are also known as dinomond and can easily be harnessed to produce incredible amounts of raw power." Dr. Z explained about the dinomond.
"Why do you need such raw power?" Dr. Owen asked as Ursula stepped in front of him.
"Silly man, to take over the world, of course. Don't you watch TV?" Ursula said as Owen was awestruck at her. "So come on. Are you going to hand over the key or what?"
Dr. Owen is beginning to fall in love... with Ursula.
"Excuse me?" She said, confusedly.
"You know, you're really quite beautiful up close." He said.
"Huh?" She said, beginning to flustered.
"Listen to me, I know this is sudden but I think I'm in love with you." Dr. Owen confessed.
"Don't toy with my heart." Ursula said before Dr. Z cuts in front of her.
"He's stalling so he won't have to give up the key!" Dr. Z pulls out his Alpha scanner "You want to play games? Play with this!" He slashed Terry's card and summons Terry in full-sized Tyrannosaurus Rex. Terry stood in front of Dr. Owen.
Taylor's residence
"I'm going to call the NYPD!" Spike said, dialing the phone.
"Tell them to hurry!" Rex told him.
Suddenly, they heard an alarm from Max's dino-holder as he pulls it out.
"Whoa, a new dinosaur appeared." Max said.
"Alright, let's head to the D-lab." Dr. Taylor said.
"Okay!" They all said.
Aki came out of kitchen with roast chicken. "Okay, good news. I got the chicken out just in time." She noticed everyone is gone. "Well, that's strange. Where did everyone disappear to?"

Terry stared down at Dr. Owen and roared at him.
"Amazing!" Dr. Owen said, with no fear.
"You better stay away if you know what's good for you." Ursula said.
"A real-life Tyrannosaurus!" He said, excitedly.
"He can chew him with one bite!" Dr. Z added.
"Oh, it would be an honor to be eaten by a magnificent creature such as this!" He said, causing Ursula and Dr. Z gasped in surprised. Terry bent down and roared at him. "Oh, I think you've a little cavity. Hmm..." Dr. Owen said, examining Terry's tooth and rubbed on it, making Terry pulled back and roared in pain. "Yes, that tooth is definitely rotten. What have you been eating, big fella?" He said.
"I've never seen anyone handle the dinosaur so bravely." Ursula said to Dr. Z.
"Ha, you wanna see bravery, watch this?" He said before walks over to Terry. "Come on, Terry. I'll fix that cavity for you."
"That's not bravery, that's foolish." She said.
"It's the same thing!" Dr. Z retorted while Ed holds him back.
"But we can't let you get eaten!" Ed said.
"Let's get back to dinomond, shall we?" Zander reminded him.
"Oh, yeah. I forgot about that. Uh, how do I get the key away from him when he has no fear for his life?" He said.
"Don't hurt the fossils, big guy. Those skeletons are all we have left today to teach us what dinosaurs like you were like. So, you have to be very gentle with them. Please, don't smash the fossils, please!" Dr. Owen begged it.
"Ha, That's it! Give up the key of I'll have Terry destroy all the fossils!" Dr. Z said.
"You wouldn't dare!" He lashed out as Terry walked over to the fossil cases and smashed it as well as the other skeleton displays. "Please stop, not the fossils! Alright, I'll give you the key if you please just make him stop!" Dr. Owen begged them to make him stop.
"You know doctor, you could have saved us all a lot of time and trouble if you just given it up in the first place." He said, before turned to Terry. "Terry, no more smashing." Dr. Z commanded, but Terry smashed through the display and headed to the Seismosaurus skeleton. "Hey Terry, I said no more!" He ordered him.
"Oh no, not my Seismosaurus!" Dr. Owen cried as Terry destroyed the Seismosaurus skeleton. In the process, A card has fallen from the destroyed skeleton.
D-Lab
"The dinosaurs in New York City!" Rex said.
"Let's go!" Zoe said as they and Terran stepped in the teleporter.
"Ready?" He said, but Max held up his dino-holder.
"That's weird." Max said.
"What's goin' on, Max?" Rex asked.
"We've just lost the signal from the dinosaur." Reese replied when they look at her.
"You mean it just disappeared." Max said
"How can that be?" Terran asked

"The moment I've been waiting for." Dr. Z said, open the case with the key and take the amber. "It's all ours." They laughed, but cut shortly when they hear the police siren.
"Attention, intruders!" They peered to the window and see that police are surrounding the museum.
"That's not good." Dr. Z said.
"The entire building is surrounded! This is your only warning! Come out with your hands up!" the police demanded them to come out.
"Let's give them a little warning of our own." Dr. Z said as the Alpha gang pulls out their Alpha scanners.
"Alpha Slash!" They slashed their own dinosaur cards to their scanner.
"Go, Spinosaurus!" Zander summons Spiny in full-sized Spinosaurus.
"Go, Saichania!" Ed summons Tank in full-sized Saichania.
"Go, Tyrannosaurus!" Ursula summons Terry in full-sized Tyrannosaurus Rex.
The police are scared and ran off as the dinosaurs is ran them off.
"They've never said exactly who they wanted coming out." Dr. Z laughed as Terry stomps on the police cars and their vehicle that they got here.
"Hey, wasn't that our ride home?!" Ursula exclaims at it.
"Who's the fool that parked there?" Dr. Z hissed.
"Parking's expensive in midtown." Ed said.
"My insurance won't cover that" Zander added.
D-Lab
Rex tried call his dad, but it keeps ringing from the other end.
"It's no use. Dad's not answering." Rex said, hang up the phone.
"Evidently, the dinosaur that appeared and disappeared wasn't a new one." Reese said.
"How do you know that?" Zoe asked her sister.
"From the dino-holder you were using, Max. I modified it last week to detect not only the new dinosaurs, but also dinosaurs that reappear so we can keep better track of them." She explained.
"So, it's a card from one of the dinosaurs we already saved." Max said.
"That's possible, but it could also be an Alpha gang dinosaur." Reese added, making gasped in realize.
"But my dad is with them!" Rex said.
"Rex. If I know your father, it's going to take more than the Alpha Gang to get the best of him." Dr. Taylor assured him.
"I hope so." He said before they heard the beeping sound
"It's back." Max said, holding his dino-holder.

The D-Team and Terran were teleported to the museum.
"Dad, It's me!" Rex called out. "Where are you?!"
"Over there." Zoe pointed to where Dr. Owen is all tied-up and gagged.
"Dad! Are you alright?" Rex and Terran went to him. "Let me get that off of you." He took the tape off of his mouth.
"I'm fine, but those Alpha people got away with the amber." Dr. Owen said.
"Do you know why they took it?" Terran asked while untying him.
"I don't know, but say, are you that robot who was founded by Spike from five years ago?" He asked.
"Yes, I was informed of this and the loss of my memories." He replied.
"Astonishing, though I appreciated you for watching out for Rex and his friends." Dr. Owen said.
"Huh?" Zoe looked where the Seismosaurus skeleton is destroyed. "Look what I found, guys." She picked up the card she found.
"A card." Max said, looking over her shoulder.
"Yeah, it looks like a move card with a picture of a Seismosaurus on it. It has the grass crest, Paris." Zoe said as Paris chirped.
"Bizarre, So when the Seismosaurus skeleton was shattered, it then became a Seismosaurus card. That's simply incredible." Dr. Owen said.
"Dr. Owen, you gotta help us find the Alpha gang!" Max told him.
A few minutes later, The D-team and Terran were in car as Dr. Owen pulled over to the police.
"Which way did they go, officer?" Dr. Owen asked.
"At Central Park West, driving a stolen police car." Police replied.
"Buckle up, kids. We're heading south." He said before driving away.
"Dr. Owen, maybe we should drive a little slower while we're in the city!" Zoe said.
"No need to worry. In my younger days, I did lots of cruising around like this on city streets and with pretty girls on my arm." Dr. Owen said.
"Your dad's really full of surprises, isn't he Rex?" Zoe asked.
"That's for sure." Rex said.
They passed by the lady who yelped in surprised.
"The ladies just love a yellow convertible." Dr. Owen said.
At the center of the city, The Alpha gang and their dinosaurs stopped at the traffic jam.
"What's the hold up?" Dr. Z asked.
"Looks like a traffic jam." Zander replied.
"That's not gonna stop us!" Dr. Z scoffed at it. "Terry, full speed ahead and crush anything that gets in your way!" He ordered as Terry roared and trampled the cars over with Tank and Spiny followed behind him before scaring the people away.
"Not really helpful." Zander said.
"We'll just have to hoof it then." Dr. Z said, getting out of police car. "Come on!" They ran across the traffic to hitch the next vehicle.
"There they go!" Max sees the Alpha gang's dinosaur ahead of them.
"But we can't get past these cars!" Zoe said.
"Oh yes, we can!" Dr. Owen said, pressing the button, making the car lift high with raised wheel and navigate through the traffic.
"What's this thing called?" Max asked.
"Well, I call it styling." He laughed.
The Alpha gang is riding a flatbed truck to carry their dinosaurs through the city.
"How much farther are we gonna go?" Ed asked.
"Hopefully not much, we're on the island, you know." Ursula said, sarcastically.
"I spoke to Seth and he gave us a rendezvous point!" Dr. Z said, clenching his teeth. "He said it's out on the water, some big statue of a woman holding an ice cream cone."
"Holding an ice cream cone? Wow, sounds like my kind of woman." Ed said.
"Gah! Look who's behind us!" Zander exclaimed as they looked behind them.
"Alright, pull it over, you amberjackers!" Dr. Owen called to them.
The Alpha gang drove to the ferry and landed on top of it before it departs.
"So let's see you try and catch us now!" Dr. Z taunted them.
"Rats!" Max said.
"Okay, that's a challenge I'd like to take him up on." Dr. Owen said, stepping out of his car. "Follow me. Tallyhoe!" He jumped off the ledge and landed on the boat. "Come on, kids!"
"Hugh?" They gasped.
"No time to lose!" He said as starting the engine on the boat.
They drove the boat to the Liberty Island.
"We got them now!" Dr. Owen said.
"Rex's dad is the coolest paleontologist ever!" Zoe said.
"Thanks a lot." Max said.
Once they reached the island and got on it, they met Terry, Tank, and Spiny who blocked their way.
"They're beautiful!" Dr. Owen said in fascination while looking at the dinosaurs.
"Let's go, Chomp!" Max said.
"And Ace!" Rex added.
"And Paris!" Zoe said.
"Wisp too!" Terran said.
"We're counting on you!" They said in unison as they turned their dinosaur into a card.
Max turned Chomp into a card and zaps to his hand. "Dino Slash!" He swipes the card on his holder. "Go Triceratops, Roar!" Chomp is summoned in full-sized Triceratops.
"Dino Slash!" Rex swipes the card on his holder. "Carnotaurus, Blow them away!" Ace is summoned in full-sized Carnotaurus.
"Dino Slash!" Zoe swipes the card on her holder. "Go Parasaurolophus, Bloom!" Paris is summoned in full-sized Parasaurolophus.
"Dino Slash!" Terran swipe the card to his controller. "Brachiosaurus, Shine your way!" Wisp is summoned in full-sized Brachiosaurus.
"This is so incredible! I can't believe it's real!" Dr. Owen cheered as the D-team's dinosaur hold off against the Alpha gang's dinosaur. "I never expected to see a live dinosaur with my own eyes! This is a dream!" He looked where the Alpha gang going.
"Hurry up, lackies!" Dr. Z said, headed inside the building.
"Follow them!" Dr. Owen said.
"Wait, dad! Cover for me." Rex tells them before following his dad.
The Alpha gang reached on top of the statue's pedestal.
"Okay, there's the ice cream cone we're looking for. It's all the way up there!" Dr. Z pointed at the Lady liberty torch.
"Dr. Z, I don't think we can go all the way to the top." Ursula said, tiredly. "I'm sure that Seth will find us right here."
"I quite agree." Zander agreed.
"We're going to the top and that's that!" Dr. Z shouted, pointing up
"Is an elevator too much to ask for?" Ed complained.
"The chase stops now!" Dr. Owen said, finally caught up to them.
"Not you again." Dr. Z said.
"Dad!" Rex said.
"Yes, Rex." Dr. Owen said to him.
"Dad?!" Dr. Z said, confusedly.
"Wouldn't that be another way of saying 'you're that brat's father'?" Ursula said.
"Of course, and now that you're both here, Rex can finally meet his new mother." Dr. Owen said.
"Huh? His mother? Are you crazy? I can't stand kids!" She said, confusedly as he walked up to her and present her a ring with a small amber.
"Ursula, will you marry me?" Dr. Owen asked in proposal.
"What?" Ursula said.
"What?!" The rest of the Alpha gang exclaimed.
"What are you saying?!" Rex questioned. "Please don't tell me this is why you were chasing these guys?"
"Of course." He said to Rex. "The truth is I ran after you because I'm desperately in love with you and I want you to be my wife."
"I-I don't know what to say." Ursula said.
"Well, I'll tell you what to say! Two words: N-O!" Zander piped in.
"Yeah Ursula, I don't really see it working out." Ed added.
"It seems to me that I'm the one who should get to make this decision."
"Ah, don't do it, Ursula!" They said in unison.
"What would you three clods know about romance?" She hissed at them. "I mean it isn't every day that a girl gets proposed to."
"Ursula, remember who you are!" Dr. Z reminded her.
"A member of the Alpha Gang!" Ursula said. "Listen Doctor whatever your name is, I appreciate your offer, but the fact is you're not really not my type. It's so crazy it might work."
"No, it won't!" They said in unison.
"It will be a huge disaster!" Zander exclaimed.
"Besides, what about the amber they stole?" Rex reminds his dad.
"Mm-hmm, I was going to ask Dr. Z here to give back to us as sort of a wedding gift if it worked out okay." He said.
"Good grief, man! What planet do you come from?" Dr. Z said.
"Maybe I can be the DJ at the wedding." Ed said.
"There's not going to be wedding!" He exclaimed before they heard a roar coming from down below them. They peered down as Terry is pinned down by Chomp.
"Lightning Strike!" Max slashed the move card, causing Chomp to create the ball of lightning and shoot the bolt of lightning at the Alpha gang's dinosaurs, shocking them.
"Melody Screech!" Terran activate the move card, causing Wisp to create a loud bellowing sound and disoreineted them in pain.
"Here we go, Paris! Big foot Assault! Summon Seismosaurus!" Zoe slashed the move card, causing Paris to summon the Seismosaurus that stomps on Terry, Spiny, and Tank in turn, defeating all three of them in as many seconds. They roared in victory.
"Hey, That's a Seismosaurus!" Dr. Z said.
"Talk about putting your foot down." Ursula said.
"Yes, our ride's here." Zander said, see the aircraft coming for them.
The aircraft extended the robotic arms that grabbed the Alpha gang and lifted them away, along with their cards.
"Wait, my darling! At least, accept this ring!" Dr. Owen called out, extend his ring to her.
"It wouldn't work! Our love just wasn't meant to be! Let's face it, if we can't make it here, we can make it anywhere!" She said as they were in the ship and fly away.
"Oh, Ursula." He sighed, but suddenly, he begins to fall over the ledge.
"Dad!" Rex lunged in to help his father and grabbed his arm in time. "I've got you dad!
"I'm sorry, Rex. I was determined this year to finally give you a mother as a birthday gift, but I'm afraid I failed you once again." Dr. Owen said.
"Forget about that! Let's get you up here!" Rex grunted as his hands is losing his grip.
"I'm slipping!" He begins to fall, but he landed on the Seismosaurus head as Rex looked. "Now that's what I call sticking your neck out to help someone." He laughed as Rex sighed in relief while Max, Zoe, and Terran looked up.
Museum of Natural History
Back at the museum, Dr. Owen shows the kids and Terran to the Barosaurus fossil display.
"So, is this really the exact spot where you found Rex?" Zoe asked.
"That's right. It was twelve years ago today, I took him home, adopted him, and he's been the son a dad could ever have. But since Rex has never known what it's like to have a mother. I've always felt bad about that and with my work taking me around the world, that's why I decided that he should stay with you, Max. so that he could always have family around him." Dr. Owen explained how he found Rex.
"Plus, his mom's a really good cook." Rex added.
"So, the dinosaurs protected you when you were a baby, huh?" Max said.
"I guess that's why I feel like now it's my turn to protect them." He said, petting Ace.
"There's one thing I don't get..." Dr. Owen said.
"You mean why the Alpha gang stole the amber." Terran said to him.
"No, in that book, '100 Sure-Fire Ways to be Popular with Girls…Even if You're a Dinosaur Geek Who's Always Out Hunting for Fossils', It says 'If you propose a marriage with a dinosaur bone ring, no woman can refuse.' Should I try again?" Dr. Owen said, making them groaned in embarrassment. "Too soon, huh? In that case, let's get back to Rex's birthday party."

"I wonder why the Alpha gang stole that amber for?" Terran thought back.

Dr. Z puts the dinomond in the machine in the engine room as he cackled.
"Now to energize the dinomond and see how much power it has!" He said, but finds out it doesn't have enough power. "Hugh, all the trouble I went to get this thing and it's still not enough power. I'll just keep looking for more energy sources. I cannot be stopped! Nothing will prevent me from building my dinosaur kingdom, nothing! So, when I get my time machine working again, watch out world." Dr. Z declared and laughed evilly.
