The Alpha gang returned from Africa, but they seemed to forgot someone with them.
"What do you mean, you lost Zander!? It's not like he's a set of car keys!" Dr. Z said, angrily while Ursula and Ed sat down in front, facing him.
"I'm not really sure what happened but…" Ursula started explaining.
(Flashback)
The Alpha gang falls from the water while holding on the log
"…The last time I saw him, we were hanging onto the log as we went over the falls."
Ursula and Ed resurfaced to the shore.
"But when we came up and swam to the shore, he was just…gone!" Ed added.
They noticed Zander is yet to come out of water, looking around for him.
(Flashback ends)
"We waited but he never came up out of the water." Ursula said.
"So you decided to leave him behind?!" Dr. Z questioned.
"You make it sound so cruel." Ed remarked.
"I can't believe you could be so careless!" Dr. Z said, pacing around. "Now what will I do? This is a disaster!"
"I know what you mean. Even though Zander was basically worthless, I somehow miss him, now that he's gone." She admitted.
"It's a tragedy, really. To think we've lost one of our own." Ed said, distressed.
"ENOUGH ABOUT ZANDER!" Dr. Z barked, making them flinched from his outburst, "The tragedy here is that you came back without catching a single dinosaur! Now I only have two losers left to punish for it! You've left me no choice but to teach you both a very shocking lesson!" He pulls out his electric rod from his back. "Hiyah!" He zaps Ursula, who shrieked in pain, and then Ed, who shrieked in pain as well.

In the heat of desert, Zander, in his shriveled clothes and the bag he carried, was wandering in nowhere while wondering how he got here.
"Where am I? And what am I doing stranded in the middle of a desert?" He wondered. "The last thing I remember…is…that waterfall in Africa."
(Flashback)
The Alpha gang falls down on waterfall, screaming. Zander is knocked unconscious when floating up and away in the river.
"I must have floated downstream for a long time…"
Zander floated in river through the savannah and the sea.
"…and eventually washed out to sea…"
He was founded by a group of fishermen, who wondered if he is alive.
"…I remember voices…"
Later, Zander is aboard on the plane while unconscious.
"…And the sound of airplane…"
He is falling from the plane and landed in the middle of desert.
"And I was falling. The next thing I know…"
(Flashback ends)
"I'm lost and alone!" Zander finished, distressed. "Maybe this is all just a dream and Dr. Z will be screaming at me any minute now." He thought.
He continued walking aimlessly in the desert, hoping to find civilization out there. Unbeknownst to him, he tripped on the card capsule, sending it flying as it opens, revealing two cards. One of the cards landed next to his hands, who felt it and picked it up.
"Dinosaur card?" Zander said, pulling himself up and see the card capsule behind him. He picked them up and put the card back inside and close it. "Yes! I got it!" He said, putting it in his back before he collapsed from having a heatstroke.
The wind blew the other card to the shrubs, causing glow and activated, revealing a dinosaur called Saurolophus. It bellowed in air, then it approached and sniffed at unconscious Zander before moving on.
D-lab
Terran and the D-team arrived in the D-lab after they were alerted by their dino-holder.
"So there's a dinosaur and we can't go?" Max said while the main screen is static behind him and Rex.
"The teleporter is broken?" Rex asked.
"Yes," Dr. Taylor gritted before he pounded on the transporter, but nothing happened. "Stupid thing! There's a signal but it's not coming through!"
"Dad, what are you hitting for?" Max asked.
"Oh, in the good old days, all it would have taken was a good pounding." He said, pounding on the machine.
"It won't work if you keep on banging on it." Terran said.
"Yeah, that doesn't work anymore, dad." Max said, stopping him. "Everything's all computers now. Why don't we have Reese take a look at it?"
"Reese isn't here today." Zoe said, coming in.
"Huh? Why not?" He asked.
"She went to Mexico on a fossil hunt with Dr. Owen." She told him.
"What?" Max said.
"With my dad?" Rex said.
"Yes, your father called me this morning from the excavation site to say he come across a valuable fossilized egg." Dr. Taylor said while Chomp, Ace, Wisp, and Paris is playing. "Now we thought it would be good idea to send Reese to go and bring it back."
"Aw, I wish I could have gone too." Rex said, "But we can't do anything now without the transporter. We can't even figure out where this new dinosaur just appeared."
"Dad, can't you fix it?" Max asked his dad.
"I hate to admitted, kids. But when it comes to computer know-how, I'm afraid I'm the dinosaur here." Spike said, regrettably.
"Maybe we should try calling Reese." Zoe suggested.
"I don't think we can make contact." Spike said. "She's out in the middle of the desert somewhere."
"Come on! There's a dinosaur out there!" Max exclaimed.
Mexico
Out in the desert, Reese is on the jeep, heading to the fossil excavation site with Dr. Owen while trying to call the others in D-lab.
"I'm not getting a signal at all." She frowned until Dr. Owen snatched her cellphone.
"You won't be needing this anymore, kiddo. Out here, it's just you, me, Patrick, and cacti." He said, throwing her cellphone away.
"What!?" She said, looking where her cellphone is thrown.
"Same for these things." Dr. Owen grabbed her glasses and throwing it away.
"My glasses!" Reese said.
"Now isn't that better? You miss out on a lot looking at life through those." He exclaimed.
"Really? Then how come I don't see you throwing your glasses out of the jeep." She retorted until Dr. Owen took off his sombrero.
"Ta-da! Gotcha, didn't I?" He joked, holding her cellphone and glasses.
Reese tried to get it, but Dr. Owen keeps it away from her.
"Now don't worry. I'll keep it safe for you until you're ready to leave with the fossil." He said. "If you need to make a call, you can do it from the village near the excavation site."
"But without my glasses, everything's kind of fuzzy now." She said, trying to squinted her eyes.
"Well, I guess we're lucky you're not driving this jeep." He said until Patrick stop the jeep. "Patrick, why'd you stop?"
"Sorry, I had to." Patrick apologized.
"Oh?" Dr. Owen inquired.
"Look, there's someone in the road." He looked at where they see unconscious Zander on the road. They got out of the jeep and took a close look at him. "He's alive but not looking so good."
"Oh." Reese leaned over to Zander and used her handkerchief to wipe his face. "Can you hear me? Are you okay?" Causing Zander woke up.
"I'm…" He mumbled, seeing Reese. "Oh, an angel. I must be…in heaven."
He fell unconscious again, thinking that he's hallucinating.
"Oh no, we've got to get him out of the sun!" She said.
"Patrick, can you help me get him loaded into the jeep?" Dr. Owen asked.
"Sí." Patrick said.
"Say, he sure looks familiar but I can't seem to place where I may have seen him before." He pondered, but shrugged about it. "Oh well."
After dropping off Zander to the nearby village, they continued headed to the excavation site and arrived there.
"Here it is, Reese." Dr. Owen said as the scientist showed them a preserved dinosaur egg in the small egg-shaped glass case. "I estimated this dinosaur egg is over sixty million years old. Be careful taking it back to your lab." He picked up the case and gives it to Reese.
"It's fantastic!" She said. "I'm sure Dr. Taylor will be thrilled."
"Excuse me, señorita." Patrick said, appearing in the tent's door. "A place called the D-lab sent a message for you to contact them as soon as you can."
In one of the village's cabin, Zander woke up in surprise after collapsing from the heat of the sun.
"Ahugh! Let me go!" He said before realized he's in the cabin. "Where have I ended up here this time?" Before he realized something is missing. "Hugh! Where's my bag with the card?!" He looked everywhere. "Who took my precious bag?! It's gone!" He stopped looking and thought. "Could I be hallucinating?"
(Flashback)
Zander found the card near his hand and puts the egg capsule in his bag.
(Flashback ends)
"No!" He open the window. "I definitely had a card! Huh?" He sees Reese walking by the cabin. "Angel. The angel who saved my life." He remembered her saving him in the desert and falls in love with her. "Oh, she's so beautiful and she's really real!"
When she comes in view, He sees her holding the bag.
"She must have the dinosaur card capsule in that bag." He said, thinking Reese has the card capsule in her bag. "But how could someone so kind also be a thief? How could the angel who saved my life ever do such a thing?" He depressed, then look up in the sky and saw something flying. "Hey, that looks like something Dr. Z would invent."
The Alpha gang's jet is flying through the village.
"This is where the dinosaur should be." Ed reported.
"Alright, then take us down." Ursula said. "You do know how to land this thing, don't you?"
While they find the spot to land, Zander is running outside, yelling at them.
"Ursula! Ed! It's me, Zander!" He called them. "Come back! Don't leave me again!"
"You know, I miss Zander so much I can practically feel his presence." Ed said.
"Would you blockheads put that thing on the ground!" Zander yelled while running.
"Well, look on the bright side. Zander was always hogging the rations, now there'll be much more for the two of us to eat." Ursula said.
"I guess. Well, prepare for landing." Ed said, landing jet on top of him which makes Zander moaned in pain and the hatch door opens for them. "This is bad. Now I'm hearin' his voice." He said, thinking he's hearing things.
"Let's get lunch." She said, getting off before she hears something. "Was that your stomach rumbling?"
"I don't think so but…" Ed said.
"Down here!" Zander moaned.
"Zander!" They said, found him underneath the jet.
"We were just talking about you!" She said.
"How are you doing, buddy?" He asked.
"You're still alive." Ursula said, holding his head. "I actually almost sort of missed you. In a way."
"Yeah, me too, Zander." Ed knelt down to hug him.
"Did you miss us?" She asked before she noticed him off. "What's the matter? You didn't really miss us, did you?"
"Augh…you're…crushing…my…spine!" He grunted.
A few minutes later, They pulled Zander out and he explained to them about the card he found.
"So wait, you're saying you had a dinosaur capsule with a dinosaur card in it?" Ursula said.
"Yes, but I don't have it here." He replied.
"Go get it!" She said.
"There's just…one problem." He said, unsured.
"Problem?" They said.
Max contact Reese from D-lab to repair the locator device.
"Alright, so I take off the red connector?" Max said.
"Right, unplug it and then check it with the tester to see if it's short circuited." She told him from her laptop.
Zander appears on the window where Reese is and see the bag that she has with her.
"Okay, I have it off." He said. "I'm plugging it into the tester now. Hang on."
Ursula and Ed watched Zander from the top of the hill in distance.
"What is he doing down there?" She asked.
"He said that he left the capsule in that house and he just has to go get it." He said.
"If I told them my angel has the dinosaur card capsule, they wouldn't understand." Zander thought, worriedly. "There's no telling what they do to her. Somehow, I've got to get it back myself."
While Ursula and Ed is keeping their eyes on Zander, Saurolophus walked behind them without them noticing it.
"I don't know. I'm sensing there's a problem here." She said, suspiciously.
They felt a breath as if there's something behind them. They looked backed to see a dinosaur behind them and shrieked in surprised as the Saurolophus bellowed.
"I WAS RIGHT!" Ursula screeched as they run down the hill as the dinosaur started chasing them.
They run to the junkyard while the Saurolophus is behind them.
"In here!" She said as they hid inside the abandoned Volkswagen Bus before the dinosaur stops and roared in the air.
D-lab
Dr. Taylor is typing on the computer with Max helping while Zoe and Rex checked the diagnosed the system with Terran examine the motherboard circuits.
"I found it. There's definitely a short circuit in the R3 block." Rex told her.
"Good." She said.
"Not only that, there's a strange stain on it too." Terran said, looking at the stain on the motherboard.
"Doctor, there wouldn't be any chance that you spilled your coffee anywhere near the board, is there?" She asked him.
"I…might have done that, yes." Spike said.
"Not again." She sighed.
"So you caused this huge problem, dad?" Max said.
"Uh, perhaps." He said.
"Now what? Is there anyway to fix it, Reese?" Zoe asked her.
"You'll have to replace the motherboard." She said.
"No!" Spike moaned.
"And I think we have a spare one in the system control room." Reese said.
"Right, I'll go get it." Rex said, heading to the control room.
"I'll go with you." Terran said, went with him.
"How come you're not wearing your glasses?" Zoe asked, noticing her older sister's looks. "You look really different without them."
"I didn't know even notice it but she's right." Max said.
"Maybe you two need glasses." She said, deadpanned.
"Heh-heh, Seeing Reese without her glasses is like seeing a dalmatian without any spots!" Dr. Taylor joked.
"Huh?" They said, not getting it.
Mexico
"It looks like Reese but it's not quite Reese." He said.
"What are you talking about, doctor?" She inquired.
"I'm saying if you have a dalmatian and you lose the spots, it's still a dog. But it's not a dalmatian anymore." He said. "Are you following?"
Suddenly, Zander pops in her room with a guiro in his hands, causing Reese to noticed, and started singing to her.
"Oh my angel, I love my dinosaur,

"Who's that weirdo?" Zoe asked, not noticing it was Zander singing.

"Thanks, but I'm a little busy right now." She said. "I'm really glad to see that you're feeling better."
"I didn't know any other way to express the love I feel for you deep down inside." Zander said, giving her a rose.
"Oh, how nice." Reese said, took the rose from him. "Thank you."
"You're welcome." He said.
"Who's with you?" Zoe asked.
Zander heard a familiar voice, made him cringed and saw them in her laptop.
"Not you again!" he hissed.
"Hey!" Zoe yelled.
"What's that goon doing there?!" Max said, angrily.
"Oh, quick!" Zander said, wrapped himself with curtains. "Turn that thing off!"
"What's the matter?" She asked,
He reprised a song again but differently.
"Oh my poor hearts hit the skins,
Tell me you're not with those kids.

It can't be so.
Why can't we just let our true love grow."
"Now, the finale!" He snatched her bag. "This is mine!" He took it out but it turns out it's fossilized egg. "Huh? What's this?"
"It's a fossilized dinosaur egg. What do you think was in there?" She said.
"Then where's the bag I had with me?" He asked her.
"Your bag?" She inquired.
"Yes!" He said.
"You must mean that stuff we found in the desert." She explained. "It was close to where we found you but we thought it was just trash and I think it got thrown away."
"Oh no!" He panicked. "I can't explain why but I've got to go find that bag!"
"I'll help you look." Reese got up and went with him.
"No Reese! Just stay away from that guy!" Zoe warned her.
Rex and Terran came in with the new motherboard in Rex's hand.
"We got the motherboard!" He called them.
"Mmmm." They groaned.
"Don't get too excited." Rex said.
"Is something wrong there?" Terran asked.
"The Alpha gang is in Mexico with Reese and your dad!" Max told them.
"Alpha gang?" He said.
"No way!" Rex exclaimed.
Mexico
Zander runs to the trash site where the Saurolophus is digging through trashed cars as it was looking for something.
"Ahh!" He awed in surprised to see the dinosaur as Reese catch up to him.
"Whoa, a Saurolophus!" She said.
"Where's it going?" Zander asked as the Saurolophus heads to another part of junkyard.
"It seems to be looking for something." She noted.
"That's just like the dinosaur card I found." He thought as he remembered it.
Meanwhile, Ursula and Ed is still inside the abandoned Volkswagen bus, hiding from the dinosaur.
"You'd better open this thing up or get your foot out of my face!" She demanded.
"How can I do that? I can't even move!" Ed grunted.
Suddenly, they felt the rumble, meaning the dinosaur is closer than they think.
"The dinosaur must be back!" he panicked.
Saurolophus is sniffing the van that they're in with its duckbill nostril and flipped it over, making them yelped in surprised, revealing Zander's bag which was underneath the van.
"My bag!" He exclaimed before the dinosaur picked the bag up.
As it picked it up, the card capsule slips out of the bag and dropped from it which Zander catches it.
"Come on! Let's go!" Reese takes his hand and run from it.
The Saurolophus lunges after them.
"It's coming after us! We'll never be able to outrun it!" He said, exclaiming the dinosaur is after them.
"This way!" She leads him to her left.
"Fine, I'll get us out of here." Ursula said, pulling her Alpha scanner.
"I don't think that's a good idea!" Ed tried to warn her.
Unfortunately, the van exploded as the Ursula and Ed was sent flying when Terry is summoned in full-sized T-Rex.
As Reese and Zander keeps on running from Saurolophus they head to the large rocks until Terry shows up and knocks it away.
"What?" Reese said, saw the card capsule opened with the card inside.
"Hey?" He picked up the card and see the card with another Saurolophus with the small light blue-green crest.
"Another Saurolophus card?" She noted.
"But it's already a dinosaur." He said
"So, it's a second card?" She realized while Terry is fighting the Saurolophus.
"Yeah, I guess so." He replied.
D-lab
Dr. Taylor flipped the switch on the panel and the holoscreen shows the map to the dinosaur where it was located in Mexico.
"Yes!" He said as the whole systems worked.
"It's in Mexico!" Rex noted.
"Well, that explains why the Alpha gang is there." Max realized.
"We've gotta go help Reese!" Zoe said.
"Then we better make haste." Terran said.
"Alright, are you kids ready to head out?" Spike asked them.
"Yeah!" Max said.
"Affirmitive." Terran said
Back in Mexico, Saurolophus is knocked away from Terry, who roared and ran towards it. The D-team and Terran arrived with their dinosaurs in top of the hill.
"Look, there's the dinosaur, guys." Max said, spotted the battle.
"And it looks like Terry is beating the Saurolophus." Terran noted, seeing the new dinosaur.
"Yeah, but where's Reese?" Zoe said, looking around for her.
"Hugh, dad!" Rex said seeing his father and Patrick running towards them.
"Rex, what are you doing here?" He asked before noticing the battle. "Oh my."
"Ah! A live dinosaur!" He exclaimed, seeing the living dinosaur for the first time.
Saurolophus bellowed at Terry and slam him with its tail, Terry lunges at it by its neck.
"Chomp, get in there and save Saurolophus!" He told his dinosaur as he turned Chomp into the card and zaps it to his hand. "Dino Slash!" He swipes the card to the stone. "Go Triceratops, Roar!" Max summons Chomp in full-sized Triceratops.
Chomp lands on the hills and runs downhill and knocked Terry away from Saurolophus.
Ursula and Ed shows up in the battle and see the D-team and Terran is here.
"What? Can't I go anywhere without those brats and punk?!" She complained before pulling out the move card. "I won't let them ruin this. Go, Volcano Burst!" She slashed the move card on her Alpha scanner.
Max activate the dino-holder, causing the move card shoot up and caught it. "Go get'em, Chomp! Lightning Strike!" He slashed the move card.
Terry gathers the flames in his jaws while Chomp creates the lightning ball from his horns, but the two of their attacks end up both hitting the other dinosaur at the same time, knocking both back.
With all the distraction, Saurolophus took this chance and spotted Reese and Zander behind the big rock.
"It spotted us!" He said before they started running from it as the dinosaur is chasing it. "Why does this dinosaur keep chasing us?"
"Do you think it could be because of that card you have?" She questioned.
Before Zander say anything, he tripped on the rock, causing the card slipped out of his hand. The other Saurolophus card landed on the cactus. They looked as the causes it to glow and activate the other Saurolophus with green head crest.
The two Saurolophus is rejoiced as if they know each other in million years ago.
"No way, there are two of them." Zoe said.
"The one that fought Terry has orange head crest while the other one has the green head crest." Terran noted.
"Well, these two know each other." Ursula said.
"Or it could be love at first sight." Ed added.
The two dinosaurs nuzzled as if they finally found each other.
"That's so sweet." Zander noted.
"Yes, it is." Reese said when Zander looked at her.
Terry and Chomp stopped fighting and looked at two Saurolophus.
"Terry, break up those love birds!" Ursula ordered Terry.
Terry roared and ran towards them to turn them back into the cards.
"Chomp, Lightning Spear!" Max slashed the move card on his dino-holder.
Chomp intercept Terry by throwing him up in air and impale him with lightning spear, defeating him.
"My poor Terry!" Ursula cried before raced down the hill to get the card.
"Oh, my lovely Ursula!" Dr. Owen said when he saw her and ran after her. "Come back, my dear! You came all the way to Mexico to find me! WAAAAIT!"
"Ah!" Ursula ran faster while Dr. Owen ran passed Ed.
"Why are you running away from me when you should be whispering sweet words of love into my ears like those two Saurolophus back there?!" He questioned her while running.
"I already told you it'll never worked out!" She retorted. "Not to mention, you're too old for me!"
"But ages means nothing so long as there's love! We're meant for each other!" Dr. Owen said.
"Oh, dad." Rex groaned as well as the others did.
"Your dad wants to marry her, Rex?" Terran asked.
"You have no idea." He said.
"Ed, don't just stand there!" Ursula told Ed. "Call out Spiny and Tank and get those two Saurolophus before this nut catches me!"
"Oh, coming right up." He said picking up Terry's card and pulls out both cards. "Alpha Slash! Gush out, Spinosaurus!" He summons Spiny in full-sized Spinosaurus. "Shake them up, Saichania!" He then summons Tank in full-sized Saichainia.
Spiny and Tank appeared in battle as the two dinosaurs noticed their presence.
"Spiny, Tank, beat those two up and get them back into their cards!" Ed ordered them.
Spiny and Tank charges to attack them as the two Saurolophus ran from them. Chomp intercept Spiny, but Tank charges at Chomp by grinding him with her spikes and Spiny climbed over him, defeating him.
"Chomp, oh no!" Max cried, seeing Chomp is defeated as well as Zoe and Rex.
"Ace!" Rex pressed the button on his dino-holder.
"Paris!" Zoe pressed the button on her dino holder.
Ace and Paris were turned into the card and zapped to their owners' hands.
Spiny bites the orange-crested Saurolophus's neck and slams it into the ground while Tank knocks over the green-crested Saurolophus, defeating both of them.
Paris and Ace appeared behind them in full-sized dinosaur mode.
Rex activates the dino-holder, causing the move card shoots up and caught it. "Go, Ninja Attack!" He slashed the move card.
Zoe activates the dino-holder, causing the move card to shoot up and caught it. "Metal Wing!" She slashed the move card.
Ace ran as he creates five clones of himself, jumped and ran around Tank. He rammed her rapidly until she is defeated.
Paris summoned the three Pteranodons that flew up and sliced Spiny three times with their wing, defeating him.
"Spiny!" Ed cried, retrieving the card.
"Poor Tank!" Zander said when Reese gets up and ran.
"Good job, kids." Terran said, joining the kids.
Max went to the Saurolophus card and picked it up. "Hey, awesome! I got a Saurolophus card! But where's the other card? There should be two of them."
Reese ran and found the other Saurolophus card and about to pick it up.
"Hold it!" Zander said, picking the card up first. "I'll get that if you don't mind." They stood up from he ground. "Here." He hands it to Reese. "Even I know that two lovers shouldn't be separated, I'll have to accept the fact that you could never be mine but these dinosaurs were meant to be together."
"Oh?" Reese gasped.
"Take it, so at least someone can be happy." Zander gave her the card and left when the Terran and the kids ran towards them.
"Here we come!" Zoe said.
"Don't worry!" Rex said.
"Reese, are you all right?" Zoe asked.
"Yeah." She replied.
"Don't leave me!" They heard Dr. Owen's voice as he still chasing her, who rides on the horse. "Ursula, WAAAIT!"
"Climb on, we've got to get out of here." She told them.
"Are you sure?" Ed asked as he and Zander climbs on the horse.
"But he loves you, Ursula." He said.
"High-ho Silver!" Ursula said, rode the horse away.
"It's round!" Ed said as Dr. Owen collapsed in exhaustion.
"Dad!" Rex went check on him.
"You're lucky that creep from the Alpha gang didn't try to hurt you." Zoe said to her.
"That was the Alpha gang?" Reese said, confusedly.
"I would never hurt my angel! And who you calling a creep?!" Zander said, indigently.
"Huh?" Terran looked where the Alpha gang went.
"At least she didn't call you 'old'." Ursula said as the jet takes off.
"For some strange reason, I feel like we forgot something important." Ed mentioned.
"What? Don't tell me you forgot the Saurolophus cards!" She exclaimed.

The Alpha gang returned with no dinosaur cards which makes Dr. Z infuriated.
"You came back from Mexico with nothing?!" Dr. Z scolded them, "No dinosaur? No maracas?"
"Well, we did manage to bring back Zander." Ursula said.
"Yeah, I only see two dimwits here." He said, seeing only her and Ed.
"Huh?" They said, pondering where he went.
"But he was here with us just a minutes ago." Ed said.
Zander is outside the lab, sitting on the beach while watching the sunset.
