"Ok, If I built a collider where would I hide it?" Peter thought to himself. "Maybe it could be underground? Or... maybe in this building? Should I even go outside?"
Peter was at a loss. This new dimension was utterly strange. "I wonder if those two guys might have a clue about the collider?" he pondered. "No, wait..." He recalled how bewildered they had been when he mentioned dimensions. "They probably don't even realize a collider exists here. But I still need to seek help."
Peter looked around the hallway he was in. "Now, where is the way out? This dimension must have an outside right?"
Peter walked up and down, all around the Genetics Lab. He passed by a lot of rooms that had equipment, but none of them seemed like high tech dimensional travel equipment. He had seen some light coming up, from a corner. "Huh? That doesn't look like artificial lighting—"
Jogging towards it, he found the source of light spilling from an ajar door. It led outside. "Yes!" he exclaimed, thrilled. "This dimension has an outdoors!"
He stepped through the door and took a deep breath. "Ah, fresh air," he declared, placing his hands on his hips.
Then the fresh air, soon went away, due to Peter smelling something incredibly bad. "Whoo! What the hell-"
Peter soon saw what was making that foul smell. "Oh... no... is that...Dinosaur poop?"
A massive mound of brown matter lay near the outskirts of the Genetics Lab. Yet, something felt off. "Wait, that couldn't have come from the Veloperator..." he realized, understanding it was too much for such a mid-sized dinosaur. A chill of fear crept over him. That meant there was another dinosaur nearby—and it wasn't the size of the Veloperator.
Peter got into his fighting stance, waiting for his cue to leap at anything that made a sound. He scanned the area, and saw a lot of boxes and creates, and metal sticks, he could use to aid him in a battle.
Then, he heard it.
Rawrrrrrgggggrrrrr!
Peter froze, his Spider-Senses tingling wildly. Something was approaching, and fast.
The towering trees around him began to sway and topple. Suddenly, a colossal figure stomped into view—an enormous dinosaur, roughly the size of a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Peter knew what Dinosaur it was. It was a Carnotaurus. The Dinosaur was covered in what seemed like burns, and it looked pretty beat up. "What in hell happened to it?" Peter said to himself
The thirty-foot beast turned its gaze toward Peter, letting out a deafening roar as it charged. Reacting swiftly, Peter shot webs at a nearby tree and swung up, narrowly avoiding the Carnotaurus's snapping jaws. The creature looked up at him in fury and screeched.
'Damn...' Peter thought. 'I wish I had my suit. So many of my gadgets I could have used.'
But Peter knew he had to fight without the suit. It was the only way to survive right now. Peter leaped, aiming for the dinosaur's jaw. He shot a web, connecting it to the Carnotaurus's mouth. With a swift yank, he was pulled toward it and landed a kick that sent the dinosaur crashing to the ground.
Peter touched down gracefully, while the massive beast thudded against the earth, sending vibrations through the ground.
But the Carnotaurus wasn't finished.
"Not enough? For a dinosaur that apparently got burned by god knows what, you're really putting up a fight," Peter quipped.
He rushed at it, firing webs at some metal rods in the nearby crates. In his haste, he accidentally snagged five of them, hurling them at the Carnotaurus.
To his surprise, they weren't just random bars—they were some kind of electric staffs.
And they all activated once they touched the Dinosaur. It shocked the skin of the Carnotaurus, staggering it. But, unlucky for Peter, he got shocked, because the electric current got sent through his webs, and slammed into his hands. His suit is insulated, so if he had it on, it wouldn't have been a problem. But now, he was exposed to basically everything.
The electric shock, sent him flying, and he slammed into a tall tree.
"Ow..." he groaned. He wasn't too badly injured, despite having slammed into the trunk and cracking it. He's a superhero, of course.
He heard cracking noises and turned to see the tree was about to topple. Quick on his feet, he scrambled up just as the tree crashed down on the Carnotaurus. It was too heavy for the creature to budge, and Peter seized the moment to web it up.
Peter sighed in relief when he was done. "This cannot get any worse-,"
Then he noticed the two boys from earlier, not far off, staring at him with their mouths agape.
"Uh... um... Hi?" Peter said.
"How did you do that?!" the taller one exclaimed.
"I? Um... well?" Peter did not know what to say.
"Yeah! That was amazing! It's like you have superpowers or something!" The short one said.
All Peter did, was smile softly. "Uh, what are your names?" He asked.
"Oh, I'm Kenji," The Tall one said.
"And I'm Darius," the short one added.
Peter nodded. "My name is Peter. Peter Parker."
"Peter Parker?" Kenji asked. "Parker is your last name? Well, since we are saying last names now, my last name is Kon,"
"And mine is Bowman," Darius said with a grin.
Peter nodded and smiled. "Very cool last names. Kenji Kon seems like the name of a superhero's identity to me,"
Kenji smiled big. "Wow, you heard that Dino Nerd!? Superhero!"
"Yes, I heard Kenji," Darius said with a chuckle as he rolled his eyes.
