RAW is WAR: 20/4/1998

RAW is WAR was live at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York. Tonight's main event will see the Bladewolf vs Dude Love in a non-title match. But in other news, the Undertaker is looking for Kane and Paul Bearer, not finding them at the cemetary where his parents were buried.

After a commercial break following the arrival of Kane and Paul Bearer at the arena, RAW comes back live as Paul Bearer and Kane come out to the ramp to talk. They have caskets with them as well. Bearer thought that since Taker didn't go to his parents funeral, he thought he would dig them up and bring them to the Undertaker. He keeps on talking about the funeral situation to draw out the Undertaker. The lights go out and then turn blue.

While Taker is coming towards them, Kane pours gas on the casket and Bearer lights it on fire. Taker charges Kane and takes a CHOKESLAM into his mother's casket. As they walk out, Bearer tells Taker to "Rest in peace with your dead mama."

When Kane and Paul Bearer are gone, and the Undertaker is slowly recovering in the casket, the Bladewolf comes out with a fire extinguisher and puts out his father's casket. Undertaker gets to his knees out of their mother's casket, staring solemnly at the maggot-filled casket.

RAW went to a commercial break afterwards.

After the break, Michael Cole is backstage and tells everyone the Undertaker is with the remains of his parents. The look on his face – Cole will never forget it.

Following this, it is time for the Bladewolf vs Dude Love match. Before either superstar came out, Vince McMahon did and went down to the commentary table to join JR and Jerry Lawler.

Dude Love's theme hits and he comes out in his usual way, dancing as Tony Chimel does introductions. "The following contest is scheduled for one-fall! Introducing first, from Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, weighing in at 287 lbs... DUDE LOVE!"

Dude Love makes his way down the ramp and walks around the ring to point and talk at Vince before he rolls into the ring, then takes off his shades as his theme dies down and everyone awaits the arrival of the World Wrestling Federation Champion, who will be in his first match since WrestleMania 14.

OOOOOOOOWWWWHHHHOOOOOOO!

The Devil's Wolf played to a loud cheer from the fans as the lights switched to the sinister blood red and dark blue before the Bladewolf walked out with the WWF Championship around his waist. His pace was angry-filled, and the Champion looked very pissed off as he practically stormed towards the ring. No doubt, he was angry after what happened with Kane, Paul Bearer, the Undertaker and his parents' caskets.

The Bladewolf tore his belt from around his waist as he climbs onto the ring apron and steps into the ring. He shoves the title into the referee's chest and stands across from Dude Love, hands clenched tightly into fists as the referee hands the title to someone at ringside then calls for the bell.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

The Bladewolf wastes little time as he attacks when the Dude is taking off his necklace to put it down safely, attacking the man with a punch to the back. He unloads with lefts and rights, forcing Dude Love to cover up in the corner as the WWF Champion showed no sign of relenting.

"Let him out, Bladewolf!" The referee tried to step in. "One! Two! Thre-!"

He quickly backed off when the Bladewolf whirled on him and took several steps towards him. Shooting the referee one last glare, Bladewolf turns and clobbers Dude Love with a hard right hand, knocking Dude Love down onto his knee as he tries to get away from the enraged WWF Champion. Bladewolf brings his forearm down onto Dude Love's back repeatedly, sending the man onto his stomach, then stomps away on him repeatedly.

The Bladewolf then backs off and paces around the ring, adjusting his right elbow pad as the referee checks on Dude Love to see if he's alright and able to continue the match.

Bladewolf walks over, shoving the referee aside, and kicks Dude Love in the face while he's down. He pulls him to his feet and goes for an Irish whip, but Dude Love reverses it, then fakes it to pull him into a clothesline that didn't take the Champion off his feet but made him stumble. Dude Love runs, bounces off the ropes, and hits a hard clothesline that knocks the Bladewolf onto his back, but he sits right up instantly.

Dude Love quickly goes on the offensive as he kicks Bladewolf back onto his back and stomps away on him, then drops his elbow to the chest of the Champion repeatedly, stopping after the fourth time. Dude Love grabs Bladewolf and pulls him to his feet, landing a big right hand, then another, then brings him over to the corner where he rams his head off the top turnbuckle, but Bladewolf snaps his gaze to Dude and grabs him with both hands by the neck, then LAUNCHES HIM INTO THE CORNER!

The Bladewolf unloads with quick, lightning fast lefts and rights, almost Undertaker-style punches, and finishes with a big right uppercut that staggers the Dude. Bladewolf watches him, then runs, bounces off the ropes, and clotheslines Dude Love over the top rope and out of the ring. Bladewolf exits the ring and drops down, grabbing Dude Love by the hair and rams his forehead off the steel steps. Dude Love stumbles away close to the announce table area, leaning on the apron but the Bladewolf is on the hunt.

The WWF Champion grabs Dude and bangs his head off the apron, then brings him over to the announce table and bounces his head off that. Bladewolf flips his hair back and stares at Vince coldly for a few seconds, before he holds Dude Love down against the announce table and then brings his elbow down on the man's back hard.

Adjusting his left elbow pad, Bladewolf lands a quick right to Dude Love's ribcage, then pulls him away from the announce table before going for an Irish whip... BUT DUDE LOVE REVERSES IT AND SENDS THE BLADEWOLF INTO THE STEEL STEPS! THE WWF CHAMPION COLLIDED RIGHT OVER THEM AND LANDED ON HIS BACK!

Dude Love pants, taking the chance to get a breather, before he climbs onto the ring apron and walks around to where the Bladewolf laid. He checks the distance and nods before he runs... AND LEAPS OFF FOR AN ELBOW DROP OFF THE RING APRON AND ONTO THE BLADEWOLF'S CHEST!

"Bang! Bang!" Dude Love shouted with a grin.

Getting to his feet, Dude Love pulls the Bladewolf to his and tosses him back into the ring. Dude Love rolls in after him and gets to his feet, walking over to the WWF Champion... WHEN HIS HAND GRABS HIM BY THE THROAT! Bladewolf gets to his feet and lifts Dude Love up... AND PLANTS HIM WITH A HUGE CHOKESLAM!

Bladewolf flips his hair back and stares directly at Vince for a second before he grabs Dude Love, pulls him to his feet and then lifts him onto his shoulders in a fireman's carry... AND THEN HITS THE FURY OF THE WOLF! HE GOES FOR THE COVER! ONE! TWO! THREE! THE BLADEWOLF WINS!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

The Devil's Wolf played as the Bladewolf gets to his feet, staring downa at Dude. "Here is your winner... THE BLADEWOLF!" Tony Chimel announced.

The Bladewolf paced around, ignoring the referee trying to offer him the WWF Championship. He pauses as he watches Dude start to stir and pushes the referee aside, walking over before he resumes his assault, stomping away on Dude Love without mercy. He crouches to a knee and unloads with right hands to Dude Love's forehead... AND BLOOD IS SPOTTED! HE HAS BUSTED DUDE LOVE OPEN!

Still enraged by what Kane and Paul Bearer did, Bladewolf grabs his WWF Championship and yanks Dude Love up to his feet... AND THEN CLOCKS HIM IN THE SKULL WITH THE TITLE!

The Bladewolf stands up, holding his title as he glares down at Dude Love. Suddenly, Stone Cold Steve Austin comes running down and chases after Vince McMahon.

Still seeing red and wanting to hurt his opponent for Sunday, the Bladewolf gets out the ring and starts brawling with Austin! The two throw punches at each other furiously before Austin sends Bladewolf into the steel ring post but the WWF Champion shrugs it off and tackles Austin against the guard railing, turning them around to take him to the floor.

The two continue to brawl around the ring while Vince escapes, and RAW is WAR soon goes off the air with a preview for the match this Sunday at Unforgiven...
