RAW is WAR: 14/9/1998

RAW is WAR was live at San Jose Arena in San Jose, California. As soon as the show went on the air following the opening intro video, Stone Cold Steve Austin's theme plays to a loud pop from the crowd as the WWF Champion walks out and makes his way towards the ring where Vince McMahon is waiting along with the Undertaker, Kane and the Bladewolf.

"Well here comes the Rattlesnake, and welcome, everybody, to WWF RAW." JR said. "We are live tonight here in San Jose at the sold-out arena. Mr. McMahon, the Undertaker, the Bladewolf and Kane came to the ring just before we went on the air, and now here's Stone Cold Steve Austin."

Austin enters the ring, exchanging a glare with Vince. "Look out, Mr. McMahon!" Jerry called but Austin went to the corners of the ring to do his pose.

However, Vince didn't like the sight and had enough. "CUT THE DAMN MUSIC! I SAID CUT IT OFF!" Austin's theme dies down.

"Oh he's irates, is the boss." JR stated.

"I'M DAMN SICK AND TIRED OF WATCHING YOU WALK AROUND WITH THAT WWF CHAMPIONSHIP BELT!" Vince snarled at Austin. "And on Sunday night, September 27 I won't have to see it again. Most of you know that recently I announced a master plan. A master plan that would guarantee that Stone Cold Steve Austin on Sunday night, September 27, would lose the WWF Championship."

The crowd booed in response

"He's coming out, telling it like it is, JR." Jerry chuckled.

"Most of you also know that in yet a further on this night, Sunday night, September 27 I've ordered a Fatal 4-Way Match in which Stone Cold Steve Austin would defend the WWF title against The Undertaker, the Bladewolf and Kane." Vince mentioned.

"Wow." Jerry said.

JR shakes his head. "Impossible odds for anyone to overcome."

"However, what none of you know-especially you, Austin-is there's been a little business arrangement here, as you might suspect." Vince continued with a smirk. "You see, I've granted The Undertaker, the Bladewolf and Kane a title shot, but they're gonna do a little something for me as well. You see, business is business-don't get me wrong! There's no love lost between Vince McMahon and The Undertaker, the Bladewolf and Kane. I WILL NEVER FORGIVE OR FORGET what you've done!" He told the trio of brothers.

"Uh-oh." Jerry said as the Undertaker glared at Vince.

"However, it's real simple, Austin." Vince turns his attention back to the WWF Champion. "You see, I scratch their back and they scratch mine. Or maybe, maybe I shouldn't say they scratched my back; maybe I should say they protect my back."

"Huh?" Jerry was confused.

"You see, Austin, if you so much as lay one finger on me one or all three of these monsters will be all over you; they'll annihilate you! Which is what's gonna happen at Sunday night, September the 27th anyhow: You're gonna be annihilated!" Vince gloated. "Now why is it that Vince McMahon can guarantee to the public that the WWF title is gonna change hands? Well, a number of reasons, but principal among them is this new stipulation in that Fatal 4-Way Match, a stipulation that was added just a moment ago. And that is, Undertaker, you're prohibited from defeating your brothers Kane and Bladewolf in this match."

"What?" Jerry blinked.

"And Kane, you are absolutely prohibited from defeating your brothers, The Undertaker and the Bladewolf, in this match. And Bladewolf, you are absolutely prohibited from defeating your brothers, the Undertaker and Kane, in this match. You see, this is not a normal Fatal 4-Wat Match, no. Now, let me see. If my addition is correct, I would say in all likelihood, hey, this could be three against one." Vince said.

"Duh. Can he do that?" Jerry asked.

"You see, Austin, YOU WON'T DO BUSINESS, YOU REFUSE TO DO BUSINESS! You won't do things the easy way like Undertaker, Bladewolf and Kane, no no no no, you gotta do things the hard way. You gotta do things your way." Vince said to the Texas Rattlesnake. "So have it you way, alright? And on Sunday night, September 27, Austin, when you're flat on your back, looking up at these ringlights and there's been an announcement that you are no longer the WWF Champion, I want you to remember one thing. And that is... Vince McMahon didn't screw Stone Cold Steve Austin, oh no, not at all. Stone Cold screwed Stone Cold!"

Having enough, Austin laid Vince out with a right hook.

"Ah!" Jerry exclaimed.

"Oh Austin! Austin blasting McMahon!" JR shouted as Austin contuned his attack, but the Undertaker, Bladewolf and Kane attacked Austin as soon as he attacked Vince. "And the Brothers of Destruction now!"

Bladewolf and Kane stomp away on Austin while Undertaker hammers away at the WWF Champion's forehead, the brothers showing no mercy to their opponent for Breakdown.

"The Brothers of Destruction providing the protection for Mr. McMahon." JR said. "And look at them, trying to take Austin apart here!"

"Look at McMahon!" Jerry pointed out, as Vince was barking orders to the brothers. "He's orchestrating this whole thing!"

The master plan comes full circle here." JR said.

Forcing Austin into the corner, Bladewolf and Kane stomp away on Austin repeatedly before stopping at their brother's command as Undertaker grabs Austin and pulls him to his feet, then grabs him by the throat. Kane does the same, and then Bladewolf. Together, the trio lift Austin up... AND PLANT HIM WITH A TRIPLE CHOKESLAM!

"Oh!" JR winced at the impact. "Triple Chokeslam!"

Vince got in Austin's face, mouthing off to him. "Look!" Jerry pointed. "Look at McMahon! He's mocking Stone Cold Steve Austin!"

Kane's theme played as the Big Red Monster raised his arms up then throw them down, causing fire to explode from the turnbuckles.

"How hideous can a human being be?" JR shook his head in disgust. "What is Mr. McMahon thinking? There is no way Austin can survive against these three monsters!"

"I'll tell you what McMahon's thinking, he's thinking that on September 27th, Austin will no longer be a thorn in his side! He'll no longer be the WWF Champion!" Jerry said.

The Undertaker, Bladewolf and Kane leave the ring with Vince and head up the ramp, stopping on the stage with Undertaker grabbing the microphone from Vince.

"Austin." He called. "Nothing personal, it's just business." He hands the microphone back to Vince.

"And speaking of business, we may not have to wait until Sunday night, September 27, because in that very ring tonight, you will defend the WWF Title against the world's most dangerous man, Ken Shamrock!" Vince announced with a smug smirk.

"What?!" Jerry's eyes widened.

"My God, what else are they going to do to Austin?" JR shakes his head.

Undertaker's theme plays as the brothers and Vince go backstage...

Short, I know, but just assume that Bladewolf was at ringside for his brothers' matches.
