RAW is WAR: 28/9/1998
RAW is WAR was live at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. Following the commercial break, in which police are shown outside the arena to keep Stone Cold Steve Austin from interfering in the crowning of a new WWF Champion. The ring has a red carpet laid out, and the WWF Championship is displayed on a podium while police surround the ring before Vince McMahon walks out with his stooges.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the owner of the World Wrestling Federation... MR. MCMAHON!" Tony Chimel announces, but the crowd just welcomes him with thunderous boos.
Vince makes his way to the ring and enters with his stooges and some police officers for security. Vince takes a microphone as he stands before the WWF Championship in a glass cabinet on the podium.
And now, Ladies and Gentlemen, the moment we have been awaiting-" Vince starts but is interrupted with boos from the fans, though he ignores them. "We're about to present the most coveted prize in the whole game to a worthy WWF Superstar. This ceremony is a solemn one, to be conducted with dignity and respect. As these dignitaries stand before you tonight, it is indeed our honor and our privilege to bestow the World Wrestling Federation title to the worthy Superstar. With that in mind, let me firstly introduce to you: the Phenom, the Undertaker!"
The lights go out at the Undertaker's gong, followed by his theme playing. Pyro explodes on the stage before the Undertaker walks out, making his way towards the ring. Police and security part for him so they weren't in his way, allowing the Phenom to get onto the ring apron and enter the ring, walking to stand on one side as his theme dies down.
"And now, Ladies and Gentlemen, may I introduce to you: KANE!" Vince introduced.
Again, the lights went out and Kane's theme played before the pyro exploded on the stage, and Kane walks out under the red light. The Big Red Machine makes his way to the ring and climbs onto the ring apron, stepping over the top rope. He stands across from his brother as his theme dies down and the lights return to normal.
"And finally, ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce to you: The reigning World Wrestling Federation Intercontinental Champion! The Demon Wolf, THE BLADEWOLF!" Vince pointed to the stage.
OOOOOOOOWWWWHHHHOOOOOOO!
The Devil's Wolf played to a loud cheer from the fans as the lights switched to the sinister blood red and dark blue before the Bladewolf walked out with the WWF Intercontinental Championship around his waist. Bladewolf stood at the entrance and adjusted his right elbow pad before he made his way towards the ring.
Reaching the ring, Bladewolf gets onto the ring apron and steps over the top rope without delay. He flips his hair back as he moves to stand in the middle. His theme dies down and the lights return to normal.
"There's no question, Undertaker, that you, Bladewolf and Kane deserve to be the WWF Champion." Vince began, looking between the brothers. "The three of you single-handedly covered Stone Cold Steve Austin for the championship. The two of you, who have had tremendous battles between the three of you-"
Vince was interrupted when the cameras backstage caught Austin... DRIVING A ZAMBONI! Austin drives it pass police who are unable to stop him, while Vince's eyes widen with shock and rage.
"What the hell?!" He shouted. "DON'T LET HIM IN HERE!"
Austin drives over a light, drives through a curtain under the TitanTron, and drives straight to the ring. Austin gets to his feet and... LEAPS OFF THE ZAMBONI AND ONTO VINCE MCMAHON! AUSTIN FURIOUSLY ATTACKS VINCE!
Neither Bladewolf, Undertaker or Kane sought to help Vince as they stood by and watched while the policemen and the stooges pulled Austin off Vince, with the police handcuffing Austin. Austin is then pulled out of the ring and escorted to the back, though the Texas Rattlesnake didn't care as he was smiling the whole way. The cameras followed them backstage, and Austin noticed.
"I ain't through with you, Vince!" He shouted. "I ain't through with you not yet by a long shot!"
The police pull Austin over to a squad car and start to put him in when Vince, who had stormed backstage after them, shouts at Austin, telling the police to take him to jail. Soon enough, Austin is taken away to jail in a police car before RAW goes to a commercial break.
*After the commercial break*
When RAW came back from the break, Vince was back in the ring with the Undertaker, Kane and the Bladewolf.
"Before we were so rudely interrupted I was about to present the WWF Championship." Vince started. "However, if you recall, the deal was, Undertaker, Bladewolf and Kane: You would get the title shot as long as you kept Stone Cold Steve Austin away from me. But, three times, THREE TIMES in less than a week, Austin had brutally attacked me." The crowd cheers at the reminder. "So let me say this: You didn't live up to your end of the deal, I'M NOT GONNA LIVE UP TO MINE! You're gonna have to FIGHT for it!" Neither Kane, Undertaker or Bladewolf looked happy to hear that as they stared at Vince. "On the next pay per view, October 18th, you three are gonna battle it out for the WWF Championship! Whether you like it or not! Oh, by the way, since you three can't seem to keep Stone Cold out of your business and mine-Good, I'm gonna put him in-Austin is gonna be the guest referee!"
This did not make the brothers any happier as Undertaker's face twitched with annoyance while Kane and Bladewolf's expression was difficult to understand due to the masks.
"And, Stone Cold-Austin, I just hope, somewhere, your cell mate is telling you all of this right about now, because I wanna be there to watch him suffer the indignity of having to count one of you two monsters to the WWF Championship." Vince snarled. "However, so that everyone here in this arena is not cheated, so that everyone at home watching RAW gets their money's worth, then in this ring tonight, you will see Undertaker and Kane in a handicapped tag team match against three individuals: Ken Shamrock" There is restrained cheers at Shamrock's name. "Mankind" His name receives loud cheers. "And The Rock!" His name got very loud cheers, louder than the other two. "And Bladewolf, this is a two-on-three Handicap match, because you are BANNED from ringside!"
The crowd boos as Bladewolf stares coldly at Vince.
"And maybe, just maybe, you can get it right." Vince said to the brothers. "I'd like to wish you the best of luck. You know why? Because I think the three of you are gonna need it. Because, as far as I'm concerned, it's like dealing with the handicapped: one's physical, the other is mental, and the third is both combined!" Undertaker had a very displeased look on his face at being insulted with his brothers. "Good luck to you three!"
Vince goes to leave but Undertaker grabs his shoulder, stopping him. Undertaker walks close to Vince, snatching the microphone from his hand as he glares at the WWF owner while Bladewolf and Kane loom menacingly near Vince, staring at the man.
"You need to watch your ass." Undertaker warned. "Because, the next time you get out of line with either one of us, you're gonna be the one handicapped. And that I will promise."
The brothers turn away from Vince, who glares and gives them the double middle fingers... WHEN UNDERTAKER SNAPPED HIS HEAD TO HIM AND SAW IT!
Vince's expression dropped into fear as Undertaker glared at him... AND THEN DRILLS VINCE WITH A RIGHT HAND! Undertaker gets on top of Vince and starts assaulting him with a fury of rights before switching to lefts and rights. He gets to his feet, and both Bladewolf and Kane start stomping away on Vince with Undertaker joining in. The crowd are loving it as they cheer loudly.
Undertaker pulls Vince's leg up, and then brings his elbow down on it. He does this repeatedly as Bladewolf and Kane exit the ring and scare off Briscoe, Patterson and Slaughter. In the ring, Undertaker locks in a kneebar submission hold on Vince's leg, causing Vince to yell in pain as Undertaker gritted his teeth while wrenching the hold.
Briscoe tries to get into the ring, but Bladewolf pulls him down from the apron and sends him into the barricade.
Undertaker shouts orders to his brothers, who grab Vince and proceed to drag him out of the ring as Undertaker joins them. He says something to Bladewolf, who walks over to the steel steps and picks up the top half, allowing Undertaker to lay Vince's leg in place. Bladewolf raises the steps and... BRINGS THEM DOWN ONTO VINCE'S ANKLE!
Vince trembles in pure agony, yelling in pain.
Bladewolf tosses the steps aside, glaring down at Vince, then he and his brothers leave.
