RAW is WAR: 26/10/1998

RAW is WAR was live at the Kohl Center in Madison, Wisconsin. The current match was Kane vs Gangrel, who was accompanied by Christian. Kane takes control of the match to start.

Christian pulls the top rope down to bring Kane to the floor. As he's stalking Christian, Gangrel comes off the apron to jump Kane. Not enough to stop Kane though. Back inside, Kane choke-lifts Gangrel and drops him to the mat. Kane hits the Side Slam and heads up top, but Christian holds onto Kane's boot. While Kane kicks Christian away, Gangrel tries to stop Kane only to fail. Here comes the Flying Clothesline and the CHOKESLAM. That's enough for Kane to pick up the win.

Christian comes off the top with a back elbow, but Kane NO-SELLS. Gangrel and Christian try to double-team Kane, but Kane is just too strong. It was then that Edge appears and aids Gangrel and Christian in assaulting Kane, managing to get him down.

As they continued their beating, the crowd cheers loudly when they see the Bladewolf storming towards the ring.

"Uh-oh!" Jerry exclaimed.

"Here comes the Bladewlf! Kane's younger brother!" JR said. "Kane's only ally after his father turned on him. And despite the betrayal of the Undertaker, Kane and the Bladewolf are still united!"

Bladewolf slides into the ring as Edge, Christian and Gangrel notice him. Edge rushes at Bladewolf but gets an uppercut that knocks him down, then Christian gets a right hand, and Gangrel gets a clothesline.

"The Bladewolf taking out these men!" JR said. Kane then sits up. "Kane sits up!"

Edge, Gangrel and Christian quickly scatter from the ring as Kane stands beside his brother, the two of them glaring at the trio as they retreat up the ramp. Kane raises his arms up and throws them down, causing fire to explode from the turnbuckles, the lights to go red and his theme to play.

"Kane and the Bladewolf standing side-by-side!" JR said.

Bladewolf and Kane exchange a look and a small nod before they leave the ring together and make their way to the back before the cameras cut backstage to where Michael Cole was talking with Shane McMahon.

Ken Shamrock was facing Stone Cold Steve Austin in an "I Quit" match in the main event of the show.

McMahon's Three Stooges make their way to ringside to ensure Austin says "I quit" tonight. Ken Shamrock is also named as one of the sixteen men to enter the WWF title tournament at Survivor Series. Shamrock BUM RUSHES THE SHOW before Austin can even take his vest off. Austin comes back and uses his vest around Shamrock's neck. It's totally legal! We go to the floor as Austin bounces Shamrock's head off the announce table.

A camera cable gets involved, but Shamrock elbows Austin back and then returns the favor on the announce table. Shamrock then runs Austin into the ringpost and some brawling in the front row ensures.

Austin does the piledriver spot that always gets reversed for a backdrop. Back at ringside, Shamrock reverses a whip into the steps. After some more ringside violence, they go back in the ring as Shamrock kicks the crap out of Austin. HARD whip into a corner. Shamrock applies a camel clutch and wrenches back on the neck.

Austin makes it to the ropes and for some reason that gets a break. Austin fights back with the Thesz Press and JR is loving it. Brisco grabs Austin's ankle from the floor while Patterson knocks out the referee.

While Austin goes after the Stooges... THE BLADEWOLF SLIDES INTO THE RING BEHIND SHAMROCK!

"What the-?!" Jerry blinked.

"It's the Bladewolf!" JR exclaimed. Bladewolf has his right hand raised, waiting. "The Bladewolf is in the ring!"

Shamrock turns... INTO A GOOZLE!

"Caught!" JR shouts.

"No wait!" Jerry shouted as well.

Bladewolf lifts Shamrock up... AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM!

"Oh God, a thunderous Chokeslam to Ken Shamrock!" JR exclaimed.

Bladewolf glares down at Shamrock before he backs up and flips over the top rope and onto his feet, exiting the ring, and makes his way to the back. He briefly stops to lock eyes with Austin, the two of them staring each other down, then continues on his way.

"What the hell was this all about?" Jerry demanded.

"The Bladewolf will face Ken Shamrock at Survivor Series for the Intercontinental Title, we know that. The Bladewolf is not part of the Deadly Games tournament for the vacant WWF Championship, but Shamrock is." JR stated. "This is just a message from the Bladewolf, that Shamrock will not take the Intercontinental Title as easy as he believes it'll be."

Bladewolf disappears behind the curtain as Austin goes on to win the I Quit match.

And that's it for this chapter, folks.
