RAW is WAR: 4/1/1999

The first RAW of 1999 was live at the Worcester Centrum in Worcester, Massachusetts. The fist match of the night was Steve Blackman vs Ken Shamrock.

After Shamrock and Blackman made their entrances, the referee calls for the bell to begin the match and Ken Shamrock immediately attacks Blackman to gain the upper hand early but Blackman fights back with an elbow to the temple when he spots Shamrock running off the ropes towards him.

Blackman runs into the ropes, ducks a heel kick from Ken and retaliates with a heel kick of his own. The black-haired man grabs his opponent and drop kicks him into the lower left turnbuckle, launching punches and kicks before body slamming Shamrock Blackman connects a running elbow drop then brings the Corporation member to the lower right turnbuckle and does a series of chops before Ken reverses their positions and hammers away on Steve.

After fighting out of the turnbuckle, Blackman Irish whips Ken into the upper right turnbuckle sending punches to the opponent's mid-section before striking Shamrock at the back of his head with the elbow. Irish whipping the World's Most Dangerous Man into the ropes Steve leaps but Shamrock catches him with a powerslam and goes for the first cover receiving a 2 count. Hooking the arm, Shamrock does a snapmare suplex followed up by a knee drop off the ring ropes.

Now in complete control of the match, Ken introduces Blackman's to his knee pad he attempts to go for another snapmare suplex and Steve counters with a roll-up pin that Shamrock escapes at 2. Angered by this, Ken clotheslines Blackman to the ground.

OOOOOOOOWWWWHHHHOOOOOOO!

The crowd were on their feet as soon as they heard the wolf howl while Shamrock looked around in shock, surprise and even fear before the lights went out.

"King, was that...?" Cole didn't finish his sentence.

"I think it was!" Jerry nodded.

The lights soon came back on... AND THE BLADEWOLF WAS STANDING IN THE RING!

"It's the Bladewolf!" Cole exclaimed. "The Bladewolf is back!"

"Ahhh!" Jerry screamed in fright.

Bladewolf stood there, clad in a faded black, 3/4-length, hooded leather coat with red interior linings and the wolf skull with red eyes symbol on the left arm. He still wore a black sleeveless top, with it now sporting a glaring black wolf with demonic eyes. His wrestling tights were the same, sporting the Undertaker TX symbol on the right leg, and a flame pattern on the left leg from the shin up to the knee.

He had also brought back the metallic, Predator-style mask he debuted with at SummerSlam 1997, the mask designed after the Predator creature from the film 'Predator'.

Shamrock staggers on his feet in his fear before he charges at Bladewolf... BUT IS CAUGHT BY THE THROAT!

"Oh no!" Jerry yelped.

"The Bladewolf has Ken Shamrock!" Cole said.

Bladewolf looks at Shamrock as Blackman walks over, demanding to know what's going on... BUT BLADEWOLF GRABS HIM AS WELL! Bladewolf lifts them up... AND PLANTS THEM WITH A DOUBLE CHOKESLAM!

"Oh my God!" Cole exclaimed. "A double Chokeslam to Ken Shamrock and Steve Blackman!"

The referee calls for the bell, throwing the match out.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

"What's he doing this for?!" Jerry demanded.

"We haven't seen the Bladewolf since November when he was attacked at some point by the Corporation." Cole said. "The attack put him out and forced him to be stripped of the Intercontinental Title, which Shamrock now holds!"

Bladewolf looks at the two men he has laid out before he grabs Blackman and scoops him up onto his shoulders and... HITS THE FURY OF THE WOLF! Bladewolf stands right up, standing over the carnage he has brought tonight in his return. He raises his arms up and throws them down, causing lightning to hit the turnbuckles which causes fire to explode from them in response as his theme plays and the lights dim to the sinister blood red and dark blue.

"The Bladewolf is back and he's angry as hell!" Cole exclaimed.

The camera zooms in on the Bladewolf's metallic mask as he reaches up and removes it, revealing the wolf mask underneath, his darkness-filled eyeholes staring directly towards the camera.

RAW soon goes to commercial break.

And that's it for the first chapter of 1999. The Bladewolf is back and he's ready to cause destruction once again.
