I DO NOT own JoJo's bizarre adventure or Rising of the shield hero

DIO stood on a bloody battlefield, the blue sky now twisted into a dark and chaotic mass of clouds. DIO was covered in blood that didn't belong to him, standing above a bloodied corpse that he didn't recognize. Behind him, he could almost make out voices he had never heard before. DIO didn't have time to ponder on how he ended up here before he was suddenly sitting on a throne, and standing in front of him was a woman with purple hair glaring at him. He yet again found himself in a foreign location, this time he was in a dark room, and in the center of the room, there was a book with the name 'DIO' written in gold on the cover. DIO had no control over his body or his stand and walked up to the book, but before anything else could happen DIO's vision turned white and he woke up in his bed at the inn.

"THE WORLD!"

"DIO, what's wrong?!"

DIO activated his stand and frantically looked around the room before calming down.

"I seem to have had a nightmare. My apologies for frightening you."

"I understand, DIO. May I ask what this dream was about?"

DIO explained everything he remembered about his dream to THE WORLD.

"I see, are you certain it said 'DIO' ?"

"I am certain."

"Then the book might contain more information on how we got here."

"Yes, but unfortunately it was too dark to tell where it was."

"Perhaps we could search at the local library and maybe even learn more about this world."

"Good thinking, we should..."

DIO stopped talking and looked at the closed curtains. Standing up, he walked up to the curtains and opened them.

"DIO, wait don't..."

THE WORLD and DIO were both surprised to see that in the time DIO was asleep it became nighttime.

"I must've slept throughout the day."

later that evening

DIO was making his way to the library using a map he found in the inn. DIO was walking through the streets, overhearing talks of the cardinal heroes being summoned to combat a threat known as 'waves'. DIO was interested in exploring more of this world and thought of his next destination after Melrowmarc, but was cut from his musings as he heard a couple of men approaching him.

"Hey, big guy!"

DIO turned around to see a bunch of drunk bastards walking up to him. DIO found such people irritating and useless.

"Mind your own business, drunk fools."

"Come on, we just wanna be friends."

One of the drunks with blonde hair got closer to DIO while swinging around a bottle of alcohol in his hand.

"I won't even need to waste THE WORLD on a piece of shit like you."

"What?"

DIO grabbed the bottle from the drunkard and smashed it over his head knocking him out with a nasty scar on his head.

"Holy shit, let's get out of here!"

The drunkard's buddies grabbed him and ran off, leaving DIO alone. DIO looked at his hand and noticed the blood from the drunkard and subconsciously licked his lips. He started licking the blood off his hand like a lollipop and felt a small surge of power entering his body.

"What is this feeling? It's like I absorbed that drunkard's blood into my body."

"It is merely your vampire physiology, DIO."

"Fascinating. Though... his blood tasted quite bitter and my body barely feels different."

"That is likely because it contained large amounts of alcohol. I'm certain more 'pure' blood is better."

DIO continued his way to the library and before long, he reached it. DIO walked through the long aisles of the library, soon realizing he had no idea where he was going. He soon noticed a beautiful young woman with strawberry-blonde hair, around his age, reading a black book and decided to approach her.

"Hello, miss."

He called out to her in a soft gentle tone, she looked up from her book and noticed.

"Could you assist me? I am in search of a book about the history of Melrowmarc."

"I would gladly help you, sir..."

Eclair paused, wanting to know DIO's name before helping him.

"DIO. I do not know my last name."

"And why is that, DIO?"

"I seem to have amnesia; I can't remember a single thing about myself, except for my first name."

DIO scowled and clenched his fist—not knowing who he was, any family he had, or the kind of life he lead, frustrated him.

"My apologies, my intent was not to upset you."

"It's alright, I have hope that I can remember my past."

"Are you sure it is wise to divulge such information to this woman?"

THE WORLD spoke to DIO telepathically.

"She is not a threat to us or our plans."

DIO calmly stated to THE WORLD, not understanding its worry.

"Fine then, but please, stay cautious, this is a foreign world we don't completely understand yet."

"I appreciate your concern, I will keep that in mind next time, but for now we must find that book."

"Excuse me."

DIO's attention was pulled from his conversation with THE WORLD to Eclair, who's big blue eyes glared right at his very soul.

"You said you needed to find a book on the history of Melrowmarc, correct?"

The two searched the aisle, which took much longer than they expected, and made small talk, learning more about each other, though DIO knew very little about himself, the woman's name was Eclair Seaetto. She was a little suspicious of him at first but soon realized DIO was no threat to her.

"Could I ask you a question, DIO?"

"Of course, what is it?"

"Do you possess any magical abilities?"

"No, I do not have any, not to my knowledge at least, why do you ask?"

"Simply out of curiosity."

Eclair lied, sensing a strange aura coming off of DIO, it was almost attractive. But not attractive because it radiated warmth, no, this aura radiated power and authority, like being in the presence of a deity or god.

"Something is certainly off about this man."

"Do you possess any?"

"Not entirely."

Eclair stated without further elaboration.

DIO's interest was piqued, he wanted to know more about this woman before him. But DIO knew he couldn't just start asking her questions, so maybe hypnosis might be an option. DIO looked into Eclair's eyes, focusing directly on them. To be honest, DIO doesn't fully understand how to hypnotize people but understood it required complete eye contact. DIO and Eclair looked into each other eyes for a minute in agonizing silence.

"DIO, what are you doing."

DIO's expression became one of confusion, shocked that his hypnosis was proving ineffective on Eclair. Eclair noticed his strange behavior and was suspicious of what DIO was trying to do.

"Oh, nothing, merely admiring your overwhelming beauty. I didn't see it earlier, but now that I do, it's quite distracting."

DIO got closer to Eclair and spoke in a soft and gentle voice. Eclair was shocked to say the least, thinking DIO was trying to put her under a hypnosis spell, this was just unexpected.

"Your eyes especially."

As DIO said that, he bent down to be eye level with Eclair, so close to her face, a slight blush became visible on her cheeks.

Eclair then dashed behind DIO at blinding speeds, grabbing a book from the shelf.

"I found the book."

DIO chuckled slightly, standing back to his full height.

"Excellent."

Eclair gave the book to DIO who put it in his jacket.

"Thank you for assisting me. How could I repay you."

"It was my pleasure to help, no need to repay me."

DIO looked at Eclair's shoes and could tell that she's been moving a lot recently. She also kept looking around at random times, like she was worried about someone seeing her.

"Are you sure, not even a place to stay?"

Eclair widened her eyes in shock.

"How did he know?"

"No thank you. I'm fine."

In truth, Eclair was on the run, the only reason she didn't take the offer was that she didn't fully trust DIO and didn't want him to be arrested for harboring a criminal. DIO analyzed the situation and came up with an idea.

"Could you escort me, then?"

"Gladly."

Meanwhile nearby

"Good grief, I'm lost."

A young man wearing a dark green outfit, similar to a Japanese-style school uniform, and a hat that seemed to fuse with his hair at the back, walked down a street leading to a certain library.

"I was sure this is where he was in that dream I had last night."

The young man then pulled out a photo from his jacket pocket. In the photo stood three people, a tall, muscular man in a black outfit, a slightly shorter, less muscular man in a green outfit, and a small child.

"I'll make it home soon, but first I have to make sure he isn't here."

He stood there in silence before suddenly hearing two voices, one of which he immediately recognized approaching his location. His instincts took over his body as he started running in their direction and before long he could see it, his family's greatest enemy walking with the woman he had saved not too long ago.

"DIOOOO!"

DIO turned to face the person who called out his name, only to be completely lost as to who this person was and how they knew his name; Eclair turned to see the man who saved her from being captured and imprisoned.

"JOJO?!"

DIO gave Eclair a questioning look.

"You know this man?"

"DIO meet Jouta Kujo."

Jouta remained on guard, ready to reveal his power, all the while glaring at DIO.

"Eclair, get away from him!"

"What are you talking about?"

"That bastard, he's a sadistic maniac who kills and manipulates others with no remorse, the same bastard that has tortured my family for over a hundred years."

DIO stood there, lost as to the context of what this stranger just said and slightly angered.

"You must have me confused with someone else."

DIO moved a little closer and summoned his stand, in response, Jouta summoned his stand.

"THE WORLD!"

"CHARMY GREEN!"

Jouta's stand, CHARMY GREEN, was a muscular stand with a male figure and features, similar to THE WORLD, sporting a pair of white, baggy pants, a pair of black, fingerless gloves, a small golden headpiece with an emerald in it, pieces of armor covering his bare green chest along with long, wavey dark green hair and green eyes. The two stands began throwing faster-than-sound punches at one another.

"MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA!"

"URYA URYA URYA URYA URYA URYA!"

Eclair stood there in utter disbelief at what she was seeing—two muscular ghost-like beings punching each other at Mach 50.

"Is this some kind of projection or summoning magic? No. The energy I'm sensing is different."

The two stands briefly stopped their brawl and then THE WORLD began to speak.

"You and I are far slower and weaker than we're supposed to be. I can feel it."

Jouta was baffled by THE WORLD's ability to speak independently from DIO and THE WORLD used Jouta's shock as an opportunity to strike, punching his stand in the face and sticking his thumb in its eye with all the force it could muster.

"FUUCK!"

Jouta staggered back as blood spilled from his and CHARMY GREEN's left eye.

"THE WORLD, he sustained the same injury as his stand."

"Stands and their users are connected so strongly they share each others wounds.

"AND NOW, THE WORLD, LET US FINISH THIS!"

Everything began to slow down to a complete stop, everything, except for DIO and THE WORLD. DIO began to circle Jouta's frozen form, deciding to inspect his opponent while he still had the chance. DIO looked at the blood leaking from Jouta's eye and wanted a taste. He floated over to Jouta and before he could enjoy the Kujo's blood he realized something—Jouta's blood, it was moving in stopped time! Suddenly a fist hit DIO in the head, breaking through his skull, causing multiple fragments to pierce DIO's brain. Time moved again and DIO was sent flying across the street.

"Time stop. I'M THE SON OF JOTARO KUJO, DUMBASS!"
