DISCLAIMER: I do not own JoJo's bizarre adventure or Rising of the shield hero
The distinct scent of cherry blossoms filled the air. It colored one's perception with a pink hue of tranquil beauty. You may wonder what lay beyond or become absorbed into its bliss. Certainly, to stop and smell the roses is to forget all else beyond this moment and drown in your senses. But why would you want to, when your very existance has become parasitic to all things, forever feasting upon the beauty of this world and soon so many others, DIO.
"The enemy is here."
"What? Where?"
"Senshi, I can sense her presence, or rather, she is announcing it."
"Again I am Rishia. Rishia Ivyred. In any case, why would 'she'?"
"I haven't the slightest clue. I believe she challenges me."
"An invader from a distant world has come to slay you. They've not only announced their arrival but their location," The true Senshi Foo spoke, "Now they outright challenge you. They are a true warrior. We should return the favor."
DIO smirked, "Now, why must I?"
Senshi stood up from the foot of the tree and looked down upon her father.
"We are the heroes of this world now. And we do not kill innocents, we do not waste time and we do not need cheap tricks."
"You have changed, haven't you? Victory is victory all the same, is it not?"
"The outcome is not all that matters. Our lives are not defined by our death and our power is not defined by our victories."
DIO smirked at Senshi's words, she sounded all too similar to Raphtalia.
"I shall lead the way then."
DIO stood as well, his height barely scraping Senshi's chin. He dusted o his clothes and as natural as ever, callously took steps toward the threat emanating not far from where they stood.
"Let us depart, Rishia."
"Are you certain of this, DIO?"
DIO chuckled, "You question my Certainty? I am very certain that three invaders has infiltrated my lands and test my might for the right to my life. And that is all the certainty I require to fight. What of you?"
Rishia's response hesitated. She was to run headfirst in what may be certain death, could she? Did she possess the strength to face such a risk? At this point in time, her answer is no. She may lack it, but they do not. The people that have shown time and time again that the splendors and wonders of life are only a leap of faith away. She shall follow them, even to the ends of the earth, for perhaps it is only through this, she may discover herself, her strongest self. Rishia shook off any doubtful thoughts, her terrified expression morphing into one of determination.
"Standing at attention."
"Very well, then."
The trio marched onward, DIO at the forefront, his intuitive spirit rang louder as to the whereabouts of the invader. They were close. The downpour of cherry blossom leaves became heavier, drowning the ground with them. DIO's steps stopped at a clearing surrounded by cherry blossom trees, some distance away from the hospital blocks. At its centre was a small house like building. It had a traditional Japanese style to its design. A stream of vapor rose from its tiled roof. A hot pot of tea sat next to the idle form of a woman dressed in a black kimono, her skin as flawless as polished porcelain, her long hair black as night and her eyes as red as an ocean of blood sparkling under moonlight.
"There was never such an open space here. In fact, none of this was here. This is a sign of what is to come."
DIO, Senshi and Rishia approached the tiny structure. His steps halted twenty meters away from the invader.
"The invader, I presume."
"Invader?" She rose from her seated position, her kimono flowed gently to the wind, brandishing a fan engraved with a purple jewel, "I am adressed as Glass. As a hero of my world, I have come to challenge you as a hero of this world."
"You plan to bring doom upon this reality and yet you hold on to honor. Does how you conduct genocide alter its definition?"
"I shall grant you the opportunity to fight back. To give it your all a final time. Let your world leave my body scars so I may forever be a tapestry of its strength."
"You are a warrior. However, I am a conquerer. Know that if I live beyond this battle, your world will not end, but be subjugated in my name."
"I see the darkness in your soul, its form is vivid in my eyes. As long as I live, it shall never devour the lands."
Red eyes met golden, a resolute valor facing an endless abyss. DIO's cape fluttered in the wind as his power rose by magnitudes, peaking at eighty percent of his current full strength. A golden aura emboldened him and its power dispersed the cloud of pink haze over the area.
"THE WORLD, halt TIME!"
Days, hours, minutes, seconds, all time became one for DIO as his power reset time to zero. DIO leapt forward, landing on the rooftop in a single bound, ready to end his opponent. But to his surprise, she had vanished.
"Odd. Perhaps, she predicted my move and retreated. However unlikely, it's possible she is aware of my timestop."
DIO counted out the remaining duration of timestop. The world around him resumed.
"HEY!"
Senshi and Rishia were left in shock as DIO and Glass seemingly traded places in an instant. Senshi quickly stepped in front of Rishia, shielding her as multiple slashes cut through the air. Senshi's sturdy body withstood it with only shallow nicks blemishing her forearms' shine. She retorted with a straight punch.
"Muda!"
Glass utilized a form of aikido to completely redirect Senshi's motion, tossing the rock enthusiast to the ground.
"She's fast!"
Senshi was left astonished as she nearly tasted dirt.
"But we're smart."
Rishia had been ready behind Senshi, predicting Glass' defense. Three light metal daggers were inches from Glass' face. The pale warrior was stone faced, utterly bored by their speed. In their reflection, Glass observed Senshi on one knee ready to pounce with another punch. Glass could tell Senshi was strong, but young. Glass deflected the daggers' trajectory with her wrist. A dagger struck Senshi straight in the forehead and before it could bounce o , the next dagger reinforced it by precisely hammering the base of its handle. The final dagger did the same and forced the first halfway into Senshi's cranium. Rishia was no luckier. Glass going directly for the kill.
*CIRCLE DANCE RUPTURE FORMATION TORTOISE SHELL CRACKER*
Rishia shuddered as if having heard the name.
"Why me!?"
An arrow of light fired from Glass' fan with full power at maximum speed.
*TEMPUS EST MEUM*
Senshi and Rishia found themselves on the small house' roof. DIO stood beside them. Using their opponent's confusion as a window of safety.
"This opponent is within a calibre of her own. She seemingly vanished during my stopped time and somehow relocated herself within that time," DIO explained.
"Within that time? Like within stopped time? Is that even possible?" Senshi asked.
"It is as if she can teleport. No, she can move instantly. If it were teleportation she wouldn't be gone during stopped time," Rishia analyzed.
"Rishia, you must retreat. I and Senshi can survive most fatal attacks, you cannot," DIO sternly warned.
"Are you underestimating me because I am human?"
Rishia retorted, she looked to Senshi for support, but the fighter remained silent. Her fiery haste was quickly hushed by DIO's silent glare.
"Leave."
DIO awaited no response, summoning his stand, he continued the tempo of the battle. He and Senshi pouncing on Glass from either side.
"Individually, we do not compare physically, however, our synchronicity can close that gap!"
"MUDA!"
"MUDA!
The two vampires attacked, their bodies pushing past their limit to overwhelm their foe at once. Glass attempted to evade into a counter, but was impeded by the unnatural movements the vampires made. One evades a punch by moving away from its trajectory, however, for a vampire that trajectory can possess many shapes and sizes, and is essentially boundless.
"There!" Senshi shouted to DIO in her excitement, an opening in Glass' bodily defenses perfectly outlined in her view.
"Fighting so passively can be dangerous once you are cornered. She has no choice but to reveal more of her capabilities," DIO formulated.
An instant away from collision, Glass met eyes with DIO.
*TWIN MODE: PERFECT COPY*
Fists collided with hard metal as a second fan formed within Glass' palm. Opened, both fans perfectly nullified the punches. [THE WORLD]'s fist extended from DIO's, continuing the punches momentum. It landed, but with no effect upon its target.
"I-I cannot pass through her head? Does she possess a stand? No. This is not stand energy, it is something completely out of this world."
DIO then commanded his stand to alter its shape via Bodilly Horror, its fingers becoming needle like bone extensions that poked into Glass' cheek.
"No matter your strength, flesh is flesh. And at the microscopic level, my Piercing Sting will always prevail!"
Glass grew irritated as she felt the needles begin to penetrate.
"A demon! Disgusting."
Upon her realization of DIO's dark nature, Glass' aura powerfully expanded, imposing itself upon the two combatants. The needles crafted by DIO's Piercing Sting bent against Glass' skin under this aura.
"An aura so powerful it is a physically tangible barrier!? I can read her power, but this is not merely power, it is technique," DIO analyzed.
Senshi felt herself being forced to her knees, but she resisted with her own power and continued to struggle against her with DIO. While she lacked the powers of the Queen currently, she was still formidable enough to match a Boss. Albeit, a weakened injured one.
"She is strong and skilled. She has no intention of wasting time here."
Senshi could sense this fight was going to be a hard one. DIO refocused his stand's power and energy in unison with his own, if nothing else it would place him at less of a power disadvantage.
"She is no Spiral. Our greatest hope is to continually apply pressure until an opening is discovered. She is fast, extremely fast."
"MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA..."
"MUDA DA DA DA DA DA DA..."
Senshi and Stand empowered DIO engaged in a dance of moves with Glass as she weaved between their attacks seamlessly. Her movements were fluid and quick, her entire body participating in every motion, at least, that was what DIO observed.
"Her movements... they are purposeful and natural. She is not responding to our movements, she is moving with them. But that would require her to motions to begin in the same instant. Earlier, she used her speed to counter and defend but now even at close range we can barely scrape the fabric of her kimono. Her movements are evolving! At such a rate, eventually she will strike and when she does, every attack will connect. If she is not counter and defend but now even at close range we can barely scrape the fabric of her kimono. Her movements are evolving! At such a rate, eventually she will strike and when she does, every attack will connect. If she is not stopped, we will surely die. Such a nuisance."
"MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA..."
"MUDA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA..."
Glass continuously evaded the two's onslaught which would have typically been enough to down any opponent.
"Bodily Horror."
DIO pulled back and threw a punch, a right hook no different from any other, but as it approached, DIO's arm swelled before it split in two and its blood vessels burst out in a blood spray, blinding the invader with it. The veins lashed about wildly acting as thin tendrils that whipped about so quickly the ends accelerated beyond the speed of light! Generating hypersonic booms that shot powerful red waves of blood in every direction. Glass was shook as the vessels struck her flesh and she was forced to jump back in retreat to avoid further damage from the attack, levitating above the ground. Unveiling her arm, the invader was stunned by the sight of it covered in lacerations.
"You have wounded me."
DIO grinned, having figured out a way to damage such an opponent and surpass the speed of light in such little time. His arm quickly regenerated, repairing itself back to full functionality.
Random Narrator
DIO has always been known to adapt quickly and invent or reinvent his methods. This time, he took inspiration from Naofumi's rope shield. He had once wondered how it created that sound when cracked. Through his curious research, he discovered it was due to the conservation of momentum. When someone initially throws the whip, the whip's entire mass moves at that velocity at an angle. As it goes, the whip from its base will eventually enter a straight line with the remaining parts still moving. The mass of the whip that is moving decreases until it reaches the end of it. At that point, the mass has become incredibly small but it keeps the initial momentum thus its speed increases to beyond the speed of sound to adhere to the laws of motion, generating a sonic boom. Even moving just at small but it keeps the initial momentum thus its speed increases to beyond the speed of sound to adhere to the laws of motion, generating a sonic boom. Even moving just at the speed of sound, when the momentum of DIO's arm is transferred to his blood vessels, their tiny masses each surpass the speed of light. DIO calls it "RED PHARAOH'S PUNISHMENT".
"Now do you understand? You challenge the Lord of Riyute, the wielder of time, the next step in evolution, I, DIO."
A faint smile graced Glass' features. She puled down her sleeve and covered her arm, looking down upon her enemies.
"It seems the fighting spirit of this world rages on. Allow me to show you the fighting spirit of my own."
The glow of the red sky rippling with evil lightning and cursed winds was a stark contrast to Glass' smooth pale skin. Her image emanated an ethereal glow akin to an angel of death coming down from above.
"Circle Dance of Nothingness..."
Glass spoke as she gently danced in the air. It was a hypnotic and a truly mesmerizing sight.
"Moon break."
A large white glyph appeared overhead and from it rained down a shower of blades. Too many to evade and too fast to survive, but the attack was predictable.
"Useless. [The World]!"
DIO stopped time. He levitate o the ground and hovered backwards. [The World] moved Senshi out of the shower's range.
"Moves such as Space Ripper Stingy Eyes and Red Pharaoh's punishment are both attacks that drain my blood, the latter especially. I cannot abuse them like time-stop, thus they are meant to end encounters. All I must do is get close to end this. Child's play."
As time resumed, DIO prepared to leap into the air to meet Glass, but it would seem she had a similar idea.
"!"
DIO had no time to react as Glass suddenly appeared before him, her attacks already in motion.
"She predicted where I would be. It's as if she is collecting data on her opponents as she fights."
DIO attempted blocking with his stand, but it was useless against an opponent so far above him.
"Red Pharo-"
DIO's attempt was stopped by his arms being sliced from his body before he could even lift them. Followed by his leg being severed, his torso bisected and his head detached in an explosive spray of blood.
"I always aim for the head."
"So do I."
Glass leaned her head to the side to evade the beams of Space Ripper Stingy Eyes.
"Not even a high level demon can survive that!" Glass' confusion grew exponentially in this universe.
"We aren't demons!"
Senshi yelled, running up. Senshi held up her hand as the stray SRSE beam hit it. She closed her hand slightly so the beam would curve its trajectory a full 180. The beam landed exactly on one of the lacerations on Glass' arm, stunning her in pain.
"We're vampires!"
Senshi front-flipped into a kick that landed on Glass' injured arm. She followed up by highkicking Glass and bringing her foot to the invader's chest. Senshi straightened her foot and aimed it over her opponent's chest.
"MUDA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA..."
Senshi pulled back her leg once more, this time focusing all the force her muscles could muster into her leg. Bright blue sparkles danced on her adamantine skin as her power rose to incredible heights and she— "[The World]!"
Time stopped at DIO's whim. His body parts floated about within halted time. DIO sensed them, numbly but enough to still feel their weight. Blood vessels extended from his body parts to one another, reconnecting on a cellular level. Once rejoined, the blood vessels pulled DIO's body segments toward each other and they soon formed one being once again. DIO held a stone faced composure throughout. He examined the battlefield, paying close attention to the splatters of his blood on the blades of grass around him. Their absence weakened him ever so slightly.
"My recovery was a second slower. It would seem even a vampire such as myself is not endless in renewal. Such waste. Although... I wonder..."
DIO held out his hand and focused on his vampirism essence. He tracked its flow around his body, no di erent from blood in his natural neutral state. He could feel traces beyond the confines of his body, his heightened senses that allowed him to still feel and move detached body segments being what allowed him to feel the power in his spilt blood. This power was merely tuned to a greater precision in this case. DIO concentrated the power in his blood as it di used in all directions. He sharpened it and directed its natural flow. Animal, humans, plantlife and even bacteria all held the resonance of life within them. The very resonance DIO has learned to corrupt. His screaming blood transfigured typical grass blades into horrific dark extensions that sought blood to satisfy itself. These Death Vines wrapped around DIO's enemy, Glass' temporally frozen state. Before anyone could know, time carried on.
"DA!"
Senshi launched a kick directly aimed at Glass' heart with such power and force, it was felt kilometers away as if a high pressure bomb had went o . This impact terraformed the area on which Mercyland stood into a flatland covered with deep crater like cracks. For the first time, in this combat, Glass was forced to move in a way imposed upon her by her opponent, having raised her arms in defense. Steam rose from her forearms where her kimono sleeves were in tatters, however her actual flesh and bone was unharmed.
"I had hoped she would be weakened enough for Senshi's strike to prove fatal. That second of regeneration made all the di erence in diluting my estimates."
DIO pondered, while Senshi observed.
"Strangely, even the damage DIO's blood vessels inflicted has already scarred. Are we sure she's human? Cause that would make this even better. Whether or not we die here, if DIO has left his mark on another universe, so will I."
Senshi threw a straight punch, aiming to break the alien warrior's guard. Glass shifted the positioning of her sole against the ground in preparation for a counter strike at the perfect moment, however, she quickly became aware of the many Death Vines restricting her entire form. She could feel the dark aura resonate of DIO from the plantlife as they di used the very moisture from her cells to satisfy themselves.
"You stop time so callously. Though a long ranged attack capable of swiftly draining your opponent of power is an impressive improvision."
A faint pink aura grew from Glass, extending outward in a gust of wind.
PHANTASM
"Hachoo!"
Senshi sneezed as a cherry blossom petal fell upon her nose.
"Hachoo!"
And another.
"Hachoo!"
And then another. More and more petals fell from seemingly nowhere, veiling the surrounding atmosphere in a pink filter.
"What's with these damn petals today!?!?"
Senshi angrily wagged her muscular arms about in a childish gesture to dispell the shower of petals.
"Grr, go away!"
"Senshi!"
"Huh?"
DIO called out to his daughter, his warning unable to make her aware of the Death Vines currently wrapping around her body.
"Drats," DIO raged.
"Whatever this is, it is shattering my perception. Objects are no longer made distinct by colour, depth or shape, now all things melt into one another. I cannot discern the discrepancies amongst Senshi and Glass anymore I can amongst distant flock. And neither can my vampiric extensions!"
The Death Vines aggressively constrained Senshi, at the same time, absorbing what they could from her cells. DIO sought to stop this from furthering.
"[The World]!" Time halted.
"I must free Senshi. I must release my power from there. No...I yield no control over my perception. I may hurt her in a lack of awareness. Whatever my next action, I must use my body."
DIO shut his eyes and walked, taking forward steps.
"If I apply the facts, I must eventually reach either one of them. Both of them stood before me. Glass in particular was faced away. And Senshi faced her."
DIO's steps halted at some point, instantly he reacted to the feeling of a presence, his stand powered fist cleaving through the static air toward the presence. In the midst of this movement, time resumed.
"!"
DIO had struck Senshi, launching her with a sonic boom. Five streaks indicating swift cuts made through air alongside Glass, then appeared near DIO. DIO swiftly met the onslaught, redirecting his punch into a barrage to deflect each slash.
"MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA."
Unfortunately, their power outclassed the stand, even beyond that of Glass' normal attacks. DIO's neck, wrists, and ankles were cut deeply, nearly severing his parts. Blood jetted out from every cut as each of them had hit a high pressure vein. The blood loss was more severe than his earlier more grotesque a liction due to the high pressure blood transported through the body. DIO fell to the ground, blood squirting in all directions.
"Your blood holds your power. Lose enough, nothing can revive you."
"How sure...are you?" DIO's words were strained. Glass smiled at his reluctance to admit defeat.
"You are intriguing. However, you lack the foresight to utilize your power eciently."
"How...so?"
"Your actions, while calculated, only solve one problem at a time and barely. When this fight began, you inferred my level of strength and presumed overwhelming me would grant an opportunity. You then applied your abilities to accelerate your progress. However, you neglected what abilities I may possess and overrelied on that single attack to inflict damage, making countering you a 'cakewalk' as they say. By being so hasty, you granted me the chance to conceal my hand while overexposing your own. And of course, you do not consider these mistakes seriously as you perceive timestop as a safety net, however this ideology weakens its e ectiveness. You possess a mentality Cheq players call a 'one mover'. I was not merely learning your movements, I studied your entire methodology as does a true warrior!"
"Is Chess in her world referred to as Cheq?"
DIO wondered. He let his body go limb as he bled out.
"Luckily, I have a daughter."
Glass was at first baffled by the statement, but soon understood as the terrestrial brawler suddenly appeared before her and knocked her back several paces.
"MUDA!"
"So you did it."
"Yeah, I managed to stop time!"
"I knew you could."
Senshi helped DIO rise from the ground, holding his waist to support him.
"You are indeed a wild card, little one!"
Glass proclaimed.
"Name's Senshi. Senshi Foo. And I challenge you, the mighty Glass to a duel! What do you say?"
Glass allowed Senshi a faint smile.
"I accept, fighter."
Senshi looked to her father and he nodded. Senshi set him down in a sitted position and entered a fighting stance. Summoning her full power, a large bright blue crystal aura exploded from her, reaching the heights of the clouds before condensing back into the young vampire in a sudden implosion.
"HAAAAAAAAAAH!"
The aura shattered into fractals that rearranged into a di erent, sharper, golden aura that spiked outward. Specks of gold glimmered of Senshi's skin and her eyes shone bright with its excellence. A familiar ego stared directly into Glass with a sadistic fury.
"You now own DIO's power. Interesting. It is reminiscent of an ally of mine. She assimilates the powers and auras held with pure gemstones, you assimilate the same of living organisms. I am presuming via consumption."
"Hahahahahaha! She was never in danger of my Death Vines. Her skin is forged of earth, they would have not even the slightest effect. I merely needed to distract your attention and provide her a taste of the feeling of stopped time. You saw through my tactic and orchestrated to separate us, but that is exactly what Senshi needed! I gamble my destiny for I know, fate has already claimed I, DIO, the VICTOR!"
"Do not express hubris, DIO," Glass spoke as if scolding DIO, she almost seemed to be enjoying the outcome of this fight, "Phantasm operates on all forms of life regardless of —""Muda!"
Glass interrupted herself as to concentrate in order to block a punch from a DIO Awakened Senshi. The two stood locked in position against each other's force. Glass narrowed her gaze as she and Senshi stared each other down.
"How did you know?"
"Your internal aura expanded when Phantasm activated. If Phantasm operates on even the grass beneath our feet, why wasn't I affected the first time you used it? Simple, I had no perception of an enemy when it activated. Normal people adjust to their perception, but a true warrior adjusts their perception."
Glass could not contain the genuine broad smile her mouth formed.
"A true warrior you are indeed. Let us battle, Fan..."
"To Fang!" Senshi finished.
The two smiled to one another, their excitement raising their power beyond measure in comparison to anything it was before. With a destructive BOOM, they separated before launching towards each other with attacks of the ultimate magnitude.
"Circle Dance Combination Formation! First Formation!"
Glass entered a basic yet very well crafted dance form, one forged through thousands of generations of her people and sharpened through her spirit and battle.
"Sea Blades!"
Senshi through sheer battle will and imagination spawned an advanced Blood Blade constituted of cold liquid Carbon. An ice blue texture and colour with a metallic golden frill made from gold traces naturally found within blood. They met in a clash of forms, Glass' pure skill and technique against Senshi's endless abilities and stamina. Their power and speed matched hit for hit.
"Useless attacks!"
"You forget your place, child!"
Glass palm struck Senshi with the fighter leaning her head and upper body to control the flow of power and launch an angled uppercut with her position supporting the motion. Glass met the punch with her right knee and allowed its momentum to lift her body upward. Glass used her position to retake the flow of power and perform a backflip to flashkick Senshi. Senshi staggered back and spat a glob of blood from her mouth.
"Wouldn't have guessed you could switch between fan magic and martial arts so seamlessly."
"I am ambidextrous," Glass held her hands up with raised eyebrows if it was an established fact.
"Noted!"
Senshi slashed her Sea Blades at the air and launched the thin linings of gold as projectiles. Glass dodged casually by side-stepping while moving forward. She did this into a new formation, brandishing her fans once more.
"Second form!"
Up, left, left, down. Senshi memorized the formation as she blocked each move with her Sea Blades. Up, now right! Senshi intercepted the move with one of her own, having reversed the formation in her mind to counter it. The two danced around and against each other rhythmically, colliding with two equal overhead slashes and separating.
"The World!"
Senshi summoned her father's signature power and deformed space-time to suit her needs. The reality only accessible to her, lacking any sign of Glass. Senshi launched multiple golden bows from her Sea Blades in di erent directions and distances.
"Time resume!"
Glass was met with resistance as each of her attacks were blocked by Senshi's preemptive moves. One of them slicing her side. Glass flew into the air in retreat and hailed down her Circle Dance of Nothingness, Moon Break. Senshi hopped between the blades to reach Glass mid-air. They clashed in the skies, generating rageful thunder and crooked light.
"NEBULA SHATTERING GOD HAND!"
Senshi held her hand up and above it formed a tiny hand shaped galaxy. Senshi brought it down upon her opponent. Glass met this with a bright pink light shaped like a flower.
"Circle Dance Attack Formation, Flower Wind!"
The God Hand captured the flower, however it possessed thorns that shattered the hand of pure destruction and in the process detonating it.
"The World!"
Senshi stopped time. The explosion's size threatening a lot more than she would like. Senshi inhaled all of the released energy that the air particles absorbed.
"NEBULA SHATTERING GOD FANG!"
As time moved on, a laser beam casually emitting thermonuclear sparkles fired downward. Glass looked at this with glee. Freeing her palms, Glass calmly removed the top part of her kimono leaving it to hang from her waist, its tattered sleeves flowing wildly from Glass' waist like two tails. Underneath was a white short-sleeved Juban. She slowly held up her palms to face the incoming beam. She caught it with her bare hands and breathed. Deep breaths. The intense heat and energy vaporizing her skin from her palms.
"Now you see my true face. I am no mortal human. My race borders the realm of spirit and man, time and space are fragile to my body."
Glass absorbed Senshi's attack's power into the flesh of her hands and held onto her fan. Opening it, Glass' form became multiple afterimages in a grand attack barrage, combining four formations at once.
"Shattered Formation!"
A forbidden form, a banned and cast out form, not for impracticallity, but merely for class. For you see, the Spirit People of Glass' world are a race of high standard that value tradition and social hierarchy. In their society's main fighting style, usage of one's legs and feet for any attack other than as support was deemed barbaric, hence why Glass fights unbothered by the free flow of her kimono. The shattered form incorporates the fighting style of the other basic forms, but allows the use of the fighter's entire body to attack. Glass was born of lowly class and developed it to become the peak of battle prowess amongst her people, however this erased what social power she retained and left her as an outcast, a mutant, among the general population of her people. But others outside of the Spirit people valued this such as a King named L'arc Berg Sickle, especially when the Waves appeared. Senshi invited the challenge.
"My father's power made my own, I will bind you to MY world!"
Senshi held out her arms in a Christ like pose as golden blood vessels shot from her back in straight lines. Her figure became that of a shining sun. The vessels attacked every weak point in each after image's formation, erasing all of them except the original.
They then vanished in a blink of blue, gold and purple light and instantaneously appeared elsewhere in the sky, Senshi's fist cracking against the legendary fan, light escaping it. Senshi grit her teeth in pain, but quickly curved the edges of her lips into a twisted fanged smile.
Again they vanished, reappearing on the ground, Senshi's leg falling and landing on Glass' shoulder while she stabbed the fan into the fighter's abdomen. Senshi used gravity and Glass predicted that. They abruptly disappeared and reemerged in the Castle town, multiple tall buildings were divided into rubble as Senshi rained down her own Red Pharaoh's Punishment, one with city spanning range and bright gold brilliance. Glass responded by firing her barrage of blades upward from a sky engulfing casting circle, they travelled so fast they appeared as beams of light. Gold and silver beams shot from above and below, Senshi and Glass outsped these beams as they raced towards each other. Either one expected the other to anticipate a move or technique and instead relied on their direct momentum. Both smashed into the other with a headbutt. Gold and silver light exploded from the Castle town, shaking the very sky above it.
In its aftermath, neither combatant could be found, now in the snowy mountains where their wrists locked in place due to a simultaneous chop motion. Senshi's superior size dominated the clash, Glass felt this and twisted her hand so her arm went over Senshi's and then under her elbow. Glass straightened her arm with a strong punch to Senshi's face, nearly breaking the vampire's arm if she had not leaned to the side to evade. Senshi performed a high axe kick using her position to power the motion. Glass took advantage of Senshi's one leg stand, taking hold of her leg after she e ortlessly dodged the kick and flipping the fighter in mid-air. Despite her size, Senshi spun in the air like a fan while Glass shifted her right leg forward and placed her fists to her sides. Glass launched one with her fingers pointed forward and Senshi ceased her uncontrollable spinning mid-air due to a single middle finger pinned to her centre of mass.
ONE INCH PUNCH!!!
DROP KICK!!!
Senshi predicted Glass and shifted around her muscle mass to alter her centre of mass in order to use the fact the punch would launch her top forward while her lower body launched in the opposite direction, her legs straightening into a drop kick in Glass' chest as Glass' fist deformed Senshi's diaphragm. Tons of snow was kicked up into a cyclone, it's creators vanishing prior to its wake.
Their fight spanned kilometers, fundamentally altering the environment with their clashes, each fighter predicting the other perfectly.
Once more within the outer edge of the atmosphere, where the distant stars of the dark spatial abyss glared upon them. The two breathed heavily. Senshi had deep cracks in her body, red blood escaped the confines of her fists from numerous punches, a large crack down her face split her right eye. Glass' right arm fell limp to her side and her bones ached. Long seconds passed, granting the fighters time to regain their composure, standing upon the boundary of the atmosphere with their bodies worn. Senshi pulled back her fist close to her head and held that pose. Legs parted, and her palm outstretched behind her, Glass opened her fan and held it up in front of herself. While they remained still, their auras took form as them, battling in millions of various possible futures. Each one shorter than the last, concluding quicker and more decisively. Until finally, their auras entered the exact positions they held, the auras dashed forward, colliding into one another and from them shot out crooked white light.
"This is your chance, Senshi Foo. Retreat now or face the light of your fate as a pure warrior," Glass announced to Senshi, her voice many decibels higher than usual and far more convicted. It would seem this battle with Senshi had triggered something within the Spirit warrior. It was as if she was in battle with someone related to her, a sister of war. Senshi grinned broadly, sharing a similar sentiment.
"You already know my answer!"
The two proceeded with their attacks, harnessing all their being in a single motion, a complete expression of their martial arts ability and fighting spirit. They loved fighting and respected perseverance, in another life, they would have been the best of friends.
"It is simply unfortunate you were my enemy, the heart of Riyute, Senshi Foo."
Glass internally grieved as her fan embedded within Senshi's heart. The young vampire had overclocked her mimic ability to the point she reverted back to her base form, her very base form even prior to her Awakening. Due to the intensity of the battle and Glass' final move, Senshi Foo had been defeated. Senshi's eyes became half-lidded, tired as she fell from the skies, her form crashing into the earth in a wide crater. She had landed, non coincidentally at the clearing where this all began. She looked to the stars and smiled. She may not have won, but she indeed had her fun.
"Sorry, father."
Glass quickly arrived upon the scene as well, in her case for DIO's head.
Glass scanned her surroundings for any sign of the vampiric monster. She had left him weakened and bleeding out. And her fight with Senshi only could have lasted a few seconds at best considering the uses of time and space manipulation.
"There you are, I wondered where you had taken my daughter," The man or devil himself arrived, his body clean and healthy, even his clothing was no less exuberant. Glass did not engage in further conversing, merely action. She dashed toward him, brandishing twin fans. This would be his end, she would be sure of that. DIO smirked, unbothered.
"[The World]!"
DIO exclaimed. Glass reacted accordingly and in literal zero time, appeared where DIO would be after timestop, atop the rooftop. Appearing behind the dark lord, Glass summoned a new technique to completely annihilate his body to nothing.
CIRCLE DANCE ZERO FORMATION, REVERSE SNOW MOON FLOWER

"You forgot, general of war. I was conscious during all of Senshi's timestops. And within that time, I concocted a plan. A plan your skills could never account for," DIO boasted, facing Glass with sinful glee in his gaze.
He continued, "Your power made you difficult to harm and your speed difficult to predict. Worst of all, your skill made any attempt at surprising you near impossible. You used your instant movement to counter my timestop utterly. But there lies a clear di erence between my timestop and your instant movement. My ability allows me to reach a position without taking the time to do so while yours allows you to reach a position without traversing the distance between. Both of our speed equations become null on either side. However, my timestop possesses a time limit, meaning the concept of time still persists within it. A sort of null time. Your battle with Senshi revealed to me there exists a limit to the amount of spaces you can reach with your ability, in essense the volume of your instant movement bubble. Just as I possess my world of frozen time, you possess your own world of zero space. And just as anything I interact with in timestop moves with me, anything you interact with in your instant motion moves with you which is why you do not simply teleport your attacks into your target, you only attack after you have left instant motion. All this to say, you carry a miniature atmosphere around you when you move instantly. Air contains water vapor from plant transporation, however the air you carry currently contains my blood vapor from my Death Vines. My spilt blood is still connected to me, thus I can move through your instant motion and allow these blades to penetrate your flesh without requiring to penetrate your skin in zero time."
"How...I predicted your movements perfectly...how could you have thrown these knives into my Shattered Realm?" Glass questioned, her voice strained as blood left her innumerable stab wounds.
"Those knives are dipped in my blood and were not thrown by myself as you would have predicted such. They were thrown prior to timestop by Rishia Ivyred!"
The person in question was currently knelt down beside Senshi's downed form, tending to the fighter's wounds.
"I thought you left," Senshi spoke through severe drowsiness.
"I didn't. I couldn't, not again," Rishia said with conviction.
"That's nice," Senshi dosed off.
Upon the rooftop, Glass fell to her knees, bleeding profusely. She spat up blood from the stabs in her chest and neck, painting her white juban an unsettling red. As a Spirit Human, she could survive most fatal injuries, however, lacked accelerated healing unlike the vampire race. DIO bent down near her, his presence condescending.
"Our worlds clashed in every sense of the word, but I claimed victory as the one who stands at the pinnacle. Now you may die with the thoughts of your world's demise at my hand," DIO raised his hand, ready to chop Glass' head from her body.
RUBY DISC
Suddenly, DIO's arm was cleaved o by a wheel of red fire. He ragefully turned to face his attackers. L'arc Berg Sickle and Therese Alexandrite glared at the dark lord of Riyute with malice. The severed arm quickly reattached itself and DIO summoned his stand, finally withdrawing its power from his body. Its golden humanoid form standing beside him at the ready.
"If this is how you wish to die, you are welcome!"
