It didn't take long. Less time then he thought to get Johnathan to call Andrew and ask him over.

Maybe it was because he was giving him the hope of Buffy actually befriending him, but Johnathan seemed to want to help Buffy generally.

It was strange hearing him tell a story that he had known, but from his own depressive perspective.

Johnathan explained that even if Buffy didn't except his apology he would still help her any way he could.

"I owe her my life."

Spike lifted one brow, it must have given him away when Johnathan had continued speaking as he blushed and cleaned his room waiting for Andrew.

"I was…I was really depressed in high school. I was constantly bullied. I was about to….to kill myself…when Buffy showed up out of nowhere."

Spike listened with fascination and a bit of compassion for the lad. He himself knew what it felt like to be bullied. Constantly at that.

"I was on school grounds with a rifle…about to…and she was just suddenly there. But…she thought I was about to kill people at the school. I told her I wasn't…I just wanted them to see what they did. What their constant torment caused. I…I never forgot how kind she was…even when she thought I was going to hurt others. She's a good person."

Johnathan looked up after he set down a stack of comics that had littered the entire surface of the desk.

Spike just stared at him, not knowing how to respond to his story. But nodding at the boys last declaration.

When he saw Andrew walk into the room he couldn't help but feel a surge of happiness run through his frame.

God but he looked young.

"Alright I'm here. Why did I have to…uh…oh..um…hello?" Andrew's annoyed words turning to panic as he looked at Spike.

Spike couldn't help but smirk.

He had always known that Andrew had been attracted to him. It was incredibly annoying to him…but the familiarity of the dumb little nerd made him smile none the less.

"Bout time you got here. You ready to ask the Slayer for forgiveness?" Spike asked Johnathan with a raised eyebrow.

"Why exactly do you care if I ask Buffy for her forgiveness?" Johnathan suddenly asked with a furrowed brow.

Spike hadn't expected the little nerd to get up the gumption to ask him such a question. Looking between Johnathan and Andrew a second he decided fear was a good tactic.

The squeals of fear as he let his demonic face out was nothing compared to seeing Andrew jump into Johnathan's arms.

"Because the Slayer's mum is like my mum. And right now Joyce needs her daughter. So you two are going to help her defend this bloody town while she helps her mother recuperate from the tumor she has in her head!" Spike growled out as he slowly advanced on the duo.

Johnathan's look of fear turned into one of mortification. "Tumor?"

Spike studied the boy for a second before letting his demon recede back.

Andrew fell as Johnathan dropped him. Andrew awkwardly got up and jumped back from Spike.

"Yeah….brought her to the Initiative. Doctor there found a shadow…confirmed it's a tumor."

"You walked INTO…the Initiative?!" Johnathan squeaked in shock and awe.

"Wasn't about to let her suffer because I was afraid of what they might do to me. Besides…the Slayer never would have thought to bring her mother there. Told you… I care about Joyce…wasn't going to let anything happen to her as long as I'm around."

Both boys stared at him with curious looks after the statement.

"What?" Spike asked in annoyance.

"Noth….Nothing. Just…didn't know you were close to Buffy's mom." Johnathan managed before sharing a quick look with Andrew.

"Do you have a problem with that?" Spike moved closer to the boys causing them to move back a few steps.

"Nn..No. Why would we have a problem?" Andrew finally spoke as he tried to get away from the very attractive…deadly…deadly vampire.

Spike couldn't stop the slow evil smile that spread over his face at hearing Andrew's voice. God's but it had been so long that he had forgotten the lad had an annoying gentleness to his voice. It had been so long that the sound made him happy as his memories of what he sounded like and what he thought he remembered him to have sounded like were completely different.

"Wh…Why are you smiling like that?" Andrew asked as he to and away from Spike, afraid of truly staring at the evil vampire, who seemed to have been leaning towards him.

Spike pulled back slightly, his smile melting slowly, blinking a few times before tilting his head at Andrew.

"You have a brother name…Tucker…don't you?"

It was Andrew's turn to be shocked apparently, because he stole a glance at Johnathan – who gave a little shrug of his shoulder's to indicate he had no clue how Spike knew that.

"Um…yeah…um…why?" Andrew squeaked out the question.

"That mean you know about magic and demons…like Johnathan over here. Means you can help The Slayer."

Andrew's eyes grew to twice the size they had already been, "The…The Slayer! Buffy? You…You want me to…"

"Look," Spike rolled his eyes as he interrupted the barf fest of a speech he KNEW Andrew would give, "I know you're afraid of her but I know you also admire her soo much you think she'd never give EITHER of you the chance to actually be part of the Scoobies…but your wrong! Trying to be some kind of opponent for her doesn't make you her equal…trust me…I know!" His accent hitting the last two words sharply to drive his point across.

"But going to her…and tellin' her that you want to do whatever you can…to help her in any way that you can…with Buffy Summers…you'd gain a friend for life! And judgin' by the last few weeks…" Spike stared directly into Johnathan's eyes – making the lad swallow down the sudden fear quite literally, "that's something that you've both been lookin' for!"

Both young men stood their almost bashfully at the words coming from the master vampire. It was like he was scolding them for not doing the most logical of things.

Which given…it would have been the most logical thing to do, but neither of them thought Buffy even knew their names before this moment.

"Now! Both of you are going over there…and telling her that you didn't mean to hurt anyone…and that you BOTH are willing to help her. Cause you are…aren't you?!" Spike asked the question with a look that spoke 'do not answer this incorrectly.'

Both nodded very quickly to not anger the vampire further.

"Good! Again…helping Buffy helps her mum…and she doesn't deserve what's happenin' to her. Rather have The Slayer as a friend than an enemy anyway…yeah?!"

"Yeah."

"Totally."

"Right." Spike said, motioning with his hand to start moving. Johnathan was almost out of the room when he suddenly stopped.

"Oh shoot." Johnathan whirled around and looked worriedly at Spike.

"I forgot I have a gig…I mean…I had a gig at The Bronze tomorrow. Those guys are gonna show up to get paid whether I'm the headliner or not!" Johnathan exclaimed as he realized that they would definitely try to find him to get paid…spell or no spell."

Spike had to fight everything in him to roll his eyes again and punch Johnathan…but remembering the chip in his noggin…he knew the pain wasn't worth it.

"Well they can play without you. People are gonna forget about what you did in a few hours anyway…" Spike said in a 'duh' kind of way.

"I was supposed to play with them for half of the night! They won't be able to play half of the night without me…and…and there's no way I can now! Not without the spell!" Johnathan's sudden hyperventilation as he realized what was going to happen to him in the next day. Those musicians were going to have his name because he had stupidly just signed everything at the Bronze for the contract the night Buffy had come to him for help with the nest.

Spike watched in fascination as Johnathan bent over as he breathed himself almost into fainting.

Finally Spike rolled his eyes once more and took pity on the boy.

"Look…I'll take care of it. You just go and apologize to Joyce and Buffy. And you…" Spike pointed at Andrew causing the lad to jump a little as he stared back at Spike from the hallway, "You make sure you tell Buffy who you are and aren't like your brother! You'll be able to help with researchin' and whatnot!" Spike knew Andrew would be perfect working at the MagicBox along with playing the Watcher roll. Hell he had excelled at it in the near future. A few years ahead of schedule would guarantee him to be an incredible asset to the Slayer.

Spike made sure they made their way to Buffy's home. Watched from a far as they rang Buffy's doorbell and watched Buffy talk with the boys for a few before she moved aside and allowed the boys into the house.

Watching her close the door he couldn't help but smile and scream a 'Yes!' in his own head.

With more confidence then he had felt in decades he spun around and began making his way to the Bronze. Had to have a little chat with the manager…hopefully they'd agree to the little change to tomorrow night's entertainment.

Buffy continued to shiver as she sat up in her bed as she held the blanket tightly to her.

Her eyes closed as her internal muscles shuddered once more as the residual effects of the orgasm she had while dreaming caused her body to shudder all over once more.

She was drenched in sweat…and her body felt extremely sensitive, even as her eyes bugged out of her head as what had just happened.

The dreams had become a constant in her life, so much so, that she had gotten use to them. Not that one could claim getting use to waking up cresting from an orgasm, soaked sheets, and then needing to shower at 4 a.m. in the morning was something one got REALLY use to.

But…it was that she allowed herself the indulgence of finally allowing herself to enjoy them. The intense orgasms over the past few weeks had occurred almost nightly. But they had started out with only carnal pleasure. It gave her an excuse that…she was obviously attracted to Spike…and it was ONLY physical. Even though she usually was attracted to tall, dark men…it was the only thing she could think of that would cause these dreams.

Because they couldn't be slayer dreams. At least that's what she had told herself.

Until tonight.

Waking up tonight…she was completely freaked out. Apocolpyse happening tomorrow kind of freaked out.

She had finally tried to do something in the dream – she had tried to assert her own will. Thinking it really was a dream she tried to…well…she tried to make…to feel…she…she always woke up before feeling him…

And…and…it was a physical thing…to want to…to…to feel him…completing.

As he had whispered the words 'I Love You' she had found herself staring into his eyes…and God…she saw something she didn't want to see…but it was there.

And she had wanting to pull him down and feel him reaching the peak with her…just once she wanted to know it was shared with him. The extreme pleasure…especially after hearing those three words.

But what happened…what happened made her heart stop as she watched her fist fly up and punch him so hard he flew to the side of her and away from her.

She had screamed in her mind 'NO! What are you doing?!'

Then…her own voice…her own voice answered her.

'This is what happened. I couldn't believe him…I…I couldn't let him.'

Then she watched as Spike recovered and instead of fighting her…instead of trying to hurt her back he deflected her blows and slid back in her.

And then he turned his face away from her…and he began moving faster and faster…not languidly as they had been not seconds before and she found herself gasping as the feeling of him overwhelmed her…but she wanted to see his eyes…she didn't want this…not like this. Anything but this.

'Touch him…touch him back! I want to see his eyes! I want to see him!' She found herself yelling…at herself.

'I didn't. I…I let myself use him. I didn't want to feel. I didn't want him.'

'Don't do this! It's wrong!' She watched in horror as Spike's head stayed tilted away from her face and his eyes squeezed shut, bringing her to a peak quickly…as if…as if it was what he was supposed to do.

'It was wrong. I was wrong…wait…who…who are you? What are you doing here?!' Her voice angry at her. 'How…how are you…wait…you mean…I'm not dreaming…this isn't the powers torturing me? I'm…I'm back?'

And Buffy felt the wave of pleasure about to claim her body…she knew the dream would end…and the horror she felt at what she was seeing would be gone. But she tried to fight what was happening despite knowing it hadn't worked earlier.

'I don't know who you are…but if you could do something like this…get the hell out of my dreams!' Buffy screamed as the orgasm hit and she found herself waking up.

But the voice…the voice had yelled back…and she heard it clearly now wide awake as she sat up in bed.

'They aren't dreams!'

Buffy came down from her peak and sat there panting, wide eyed and afraid to even move.

What the hell was happening?
