The music the other campers were playing woke Tess up. She stayed still for a moment hoping to find out what song was on, it sounded like rock music, it was actually a ring tone. Tess cuddled into Riley, Kate was laying flat on her stomach. She was starting to drift off again when she heard that Kate was starting to get up. They both left the tent to see what they other were doing, they had been going over there next stop. It was a the boarder of New Mexico and Arizona. Then after that it was New Mexico again, 90 miles from Roswell, then it was at Roswell. They were going to spend 3 days heading there, 8 days there, and then 3 days heading back. After everyone was ready, they headed to the next campsite.
Kate told the horror stories of the Arizona highway in the car. Kate pointed a rock formation where someone had hidden after a murder spree in the last town the passed. The town had let a drifter spend the night at their inn and as the local women became missing from the diner they had dinner at, the Man was questioned and they found the women's cloths in his room. Three women in three nights, then the man had got defensive, told them he was framed and took off. At the mountain they could hear his screaming for 3 different nights before they found him. They were driving and every cactus they passed seemed to have large needles on them, the cactus itself was big too, about 5 feet. It was looking more like Roswell the closer they got to the boarder.
They arrived at the next campsite, and the town was close to it. The town had a haunted cave to walk through and a setup haunted house. After they setup their tents, they went the outside cookout that was in the town. They had different types of slushy's and Tess and Riley took sharing their slushy's . The caves were going to cold and Tess grabbed her sweater keep warm. It was extra big, so it should keep her very warm. Zack lead the way through the caves. It was dark in the cave with a light on the wall, and it was just like in the mining days.
That night they setup their lent in a similar manor. As Tess was drifting to sleep she heard Riley say something in the language that Tess had been using a few nights ago. She though she could understand him and sounded light 'together's best', she fell asleep before she could think about it anymore.
They decided in the morning to just head to Roswell, it would nice to finally get there and do the site seeing the town had to offer. On the way, Kate had another story, about the boarder of Roswell attacker. Some man had took shots at people at the boarder of Roswell, so it was in both Roswell and Arizona"s zone, when the news came out, the air cast was interrupted to mention that metal was flying and that Roswell home of the UFO's, had a crash again. The story had been active for months after that. They were passing the sign,Welcome to Roswell.
