After passing the welcome to Roswell sign, Tess saw that the campground was only 7 miles ahead. Riley said he needed to tell her and Kate something, and scheduled a stop at the side of the road. When we got out of the car, Zack asked why they needed to stop, and Riley said Tess needs a minute, and we headed towards the indent in the forest. Riley turned to us, and said that he knew Tess was a Alien before she told him, Kate asked Riley, how did he know? Riley replied with a story, his pregnant mother had come to earth a few years before Ava, Tess's past life soul, had died. Riley told them he was like Tess and other occupants had a range of gifts from their planet also. Tess and Kate were shocked, but mostly fine. Kate said he should have said something, because Tess looked like a single bird and she wasn't one. Then Kate asked to see something, Riley lifted his hand up, and the leaves on the tree fell. Tess and Kate both gasped excitedly. Then they heard Zack and the others approaching, Zack asked what they were talking about. Riley replied that he was letting the girls know he was in a chat room with a guy named Max last night and he seemed angry about the alien questions there, he had a friend Michael on their too. Riley wanted everyone to be careful of how mad the town folks could get.
After leaving the woods, Tess followed Riley and Kate back to the car. They drove to the campsite, checked it out then headed to the town. The first place to stop was the museum. Their was a alien head on the wall outside the museum. After going through the door they started to explore. Riley made jokes at stuff, like they had been in a secret together for awhile. Tess thought he probably felt very comfortable by now and she had some catching up to do. They went through the whole museum, there wasn't too much out of the ordinary. After leaving Zack suggested the diner across the street for something to eat. The group agreed and headed over here. A woman named Maria was their waitress and she seated them all together by pulling up tables. They were laughing at violet's story, about a the mud they stepped in a the last campsite, when the door opened and in stepped a man with billboard in his hand. Maria asked the man, who's name was Michael if he made sure to color coordinate their shifts. The man replied of course he did, and went toward the back of the diner. The group stopped laughing, they knew that could have been the Michael that Riley had mentioned earlier. Since they were mostly done, they decided to head out.
On the way back to the campsite, they stopped at a rocky spot that was rumored to be a big hit with UFO activity 10 years ago. They ran around the little rocks when they got their, they were about four feet tall. After peeking through those they headed up to a few mountains, Tess though it looked like she had been there before, Riley nudge her, and leaned into to whisper that she was born here. Tess looked at him and he just smiled. The others climbed up the formation and when they got to the top, Zack said it looked like their should be a doorway. Riley laughed but he had a serious look on his face, then he passed the others and put his hand on the rock. The rock door slid open and when they looked inside, Tess had a memory of climbing out a sack in cave. Everyone started saying they found the UFO, Tess knew the others probably wouldn't remember if they were not good with aliens. Riley would expect Tess to erase them, He had asked her to erase the school principle before because he didn't want to fail.
They all climbed into the formation, there was glow a inside and it glowed brighter when Riley and Tess approached. Zack joked that they must be aliens. Riley replied that they were. Then he asked them to listen while Tess told them a story. Tess told them about another planet that they had to leave, that she was born in the bottom pod there, and Riley was born before her. She told them of their planet that their gravity's was different before they came than Earth's, and some people had gifts. After the story Riley showed them sand moving, and asked Tess to show them something too. She showed them green light that was almost like her Pod. The group had all been calm about the whole story. Zack said that telling such a large group, Riley must be thinking of taking over the world soon. Riley laughed and said that he would just want a place like Tess had on their last planet.
When they got back to the campsite, they got ready for bed. Tess was seeing the shadows of the stars through the tent, when Riley said something in his sleep again, she knew it must have been something in that language again. She cuddled up and went to sleep.
