Chapter 7 Hello old friend

After Flying for a while May and ash make it to pewter city.

''Thanks pal, take a long rest'' Ash said returning Charizard.

So Ash, what are we doing first? "Well i'm going to go to the pokemon center to change up my team a bit then go and pay Brock a visit" Ash explained walking side by side with May.

Brock is here? May asked, a bit shocked. Yes Brock is from here may. "Ash explained how Brock is not only from here but is the gym leader as well" Oh wow I remember he was a gym leader but I didn't know he was Pewters.

They make their way to the gym's doors and enter to see Brock and a trainer in the middle of a gym battle.

Ivysaur dodge and use a razor leaf! The trainer yelled.

The starter pokemon yelled out its name and sent out 5 razor leaves.

Go Graveler, use dig then roll out! Brock yelled.

The rock pokemon went under ground only to come blasting out right from under the plant pokemon and hitting it hard while spinning, knocking out the starter.

Ivysaur is unable to battle gym leader Brock is the winner.

Good match i'll be here waiting for our next match Brock said, shaking the trainer's hand.

I see you got stronger as well Brock! Ash yelled.

"Ash good to see you" Brock said running over to ash giving him a big hug.

I didn't know you were back. And with May to how's it going may I haven't seen you in years as well.

I just got back in last night. Ash said and i meet up with may on my way here and we decided to travel again as im going to restart my journey starting with the kanto region. Ash explained with fire in his eyes.

"As for me May stepped in" I'm going to take on the new contest in kanto before doing the same in the next region.

Oh wow thats wonderful guys Brock said happy for his friends. So Ash i'm guessing you're here for a gym battle right? You bet Ash smiled. Lets have out match tomorrow morning. Sure i cant wait. Brock yelled out as May and Ash was leaving. It will be a 3v3. Ash gave him a thumbs up walking out with may.

Walking out may asked Ash "sooo what do you want to do until tomorrow ash I can't do anything until we get to Cerulean city" I think im going to get my team together and train a bit after that if you don't have anything going on how about we go get dinner and ice cream. "Ash said with a smile" At this May turns red while blushing yet again. "Yyy-yeah that sounds good ash" You ok May your face is all red again are you not feeling well?" he asked. Yes ash im ok turning and walking away. I'm going to go make a call ash ill meet you at the poke center later so we can get dinner. "Ok may ill be over there in about 2 hours" with that They both go on their way.

"May gets to the pokemon center first and makes a phone call. After a little bit the other end picks up only for a male voice to yell. " IT'S ABOUT TIME YOU CALL HOME!"

May's ears are now ringing as she yells back. DONT YELL IN MY EAR YOU JERK! Sorry Max said. I just miss not talking to you. I'm kinda by myself now. " may sighs I know max im sorry how are things going over there. " Things are just the same as ever nothing really has changed all that much although a few people here and there come by asking for the queen of Hoenn." "May pinches her nose and sighs. Yea that I don't miss. After talking for a long time Max asked "Hey sis I forgot to ask you have you found someone to travel with or are you going at it alone."

Oh no i'm.. Just as may way about to finish talking from behind her.

Oh hey max its been awhile. Ash said. As May turned around she was face up in ash's chest. "ASH WHY ARE YOU SHIRTLESS. May yelled now more red than ever.

"Oh I just got done training with my pokemon sorry to bother you two im going to go shower then we can go get food. Bye max nice seeing you." Later Ash max yelled back. After a moment of silence. 'So you're traveling with ash again well at least you will be in good hands' max said smiling. Yea may said well i'm going to go max say hi to mom and dad for me. I will night sis miss you. Max yelled. Night max miss you to.

A bit later Ash and may make it to a small dinner shop where they talk about everything that has happened the past five years from battling shows family friends how much she cant stand Drew and Harvy and after dinner they make it back to their room. "May ask's so ash you all set for your match tomorrow with brock? "Yeah i think so Ash said walking out with no shirt again only to stop talking midway as may staring at ash.

"Umm… ash why…" It took ash a second before saying. Oh im sorry im just use to sleeping like this i'll go put on. May cut him off "it's fine ash I have already seen a lot of you by now hahaha… "you sure may? Yes im sure ill see you in the morning night ash may said turning off the light. Night may i'm happy to have you with me again.
