Chapter 29: Neo Exorcism

Makoto entered the containment room and immediately, broke all the cameras around. Surprising all the contained ghouls – "What? Is he going to release us? Or maybe kill us!"- they all started saying, Makoto ignoring them before he got to the one where Tsumugi was. She was playing with her Makoto plushie until she looked at him – "Makoto!"- she said excitedly, as he opened her cell and entered. Tsumugi then immediately hugged him. Makoto was a little surprised but pet her head softly, making her happy. After a while, she then stopped hugging him

"So why did you visit me?"- she asked as the tipped toe to her bed and sat. Makoto then walked in and sat on a chair – "I came to talk"- he said, and she looked excited. – "Why did you save me?"- he asked her, already knowing the answer, but he somehow needed her to say it, after hearing him then she pouted – "isn't it obvious… I love you"- she said smiling. Makoto then blushed a little, but then looked sad – "But why do you love me? After all, I'm…"- he then started saying before she looked mad at him… surprising him – "Makoto stops talking bad about you… you are amazing… that is why I love you" – she said proudly.

"But then… why are you working with Dr. Tsesuna? He killed you once"- he said and Tsumugi looked confused – "So? I thank him for doing it"- He then looked with a face of disbelief – "and why would you do that?"- he asked in complete disbelief over how nonsensical that sounded – "why do you think? It's because he gave me purpose"- she said confusing him – "Yeah, he gave the purpose to love you. If it was any other kid that day that was chosen as your meal, I would never have known how this amazing feeling feels. And even now more, that since my blood course through your body I feel more connected than always"- she said wholeheartedly. Makoto couldn't stop himself from blushing. And then he sighed.

"Well, let's go"- Makoto said confusing her – "I'm releasing you from the prison"- he said and he opened the door – "why?"- she asked confused, he hadn't asked her about the Dr. or gotten any info. Why release her before any of that – "You only got caught to save me, I don't feel that is fair. If I wasn't dying, we would have never been able to capture you. So, to be as fair as possible I'm releasing you until we can capture reasonably"- he said. She then looked happy and hugged him – "See it's that kindness that makes me love you"- she said while hugging him. She then felt something weird. Makoto was trying his best not to look at her. But she could feel his hunger – "You know, I'm willing to give my blood to you"-she said taking a few her clothes. Makoto then looked nervous – "I shouldn't"- he admitted, and she hugged him harder – "Makoto I desire to please you and bring you happiness"- she said. Makoto was trying his best to resist, but her sweet scent was bringing him in – "if you are hungry, my blood will feed you"- she said as she took her nail and softly stabbed her neck, bringing the fuchsia liquid (I keep changing the color XD) out. Makoto couldn't hold it anymore and bit her neck. She was a little surprised and moaned a bit. Yet they both knew this feeling, the taste of her blood, the sharpness of his fangs. It felt like 10 years ago. Makoto then drank her blood until satiated, and released her, making her fall to her knees. She was breathing hard – "Makoto… did you… enjoy it?"- she asked trying to regain her breath. Makoto looked at her and helped her up – "Yes, your blood felt marvelous on my tongue"- he admitted, she blushed and put her clothes on – "I'm glad" – She then started walking outside the confinement cell – "well I see you later Makoto" – She said as she started leaving – "See you later Tsumugi"

"You let her out!?"- Kyoko screamed at him the next day as both of them walked to the school. Makoto was covering his ears over how loud she screamed – "How can you do that? She is our enemy!"- He then laughed a little – "well I mean, it's not fair that we capture her for trying to save me. She gave up her freedom to let me live"- Makoto explaining to her his thoughts – "do you like her?"- Kyoko then asked him and he looked surprised. Before he blushed a little – "what?"- she then got closer to him looking at him suspiciously - "do you like her?"- He said closer, he laughed nervous before he looked at Kyoko – "Truthfully… I don't know"- he started explaining – "I mean it's different than with you or Sayaka, with both of you, when I'm with you, although I enjoy spending time with you, I feel I have to try and hide my vampire side as much as possible"- he admitted, Kyoko looked sadly, she had noticed this. When Makoto was with either of them, he always tried to avoid any vampire tendencies that he normally felt. And even when he bit them, it was them the one who started it – "Tsumugi feels more like when I'm with Maki, where I feel I can be both sides of me" – Kyoko looked sadly at the floor

"Do you love Maki more than us?"- she accidently said before she covered her mouth, but it was too late, Makoto had heard – "No"- She said and Kyoko looked shocked – "yes, it's true I can be more open with Maki a be more of me, which is nice… But she can't replace all the memories you and I have lived"- she said smiling. Kyoko looked surprised and could feel her tears starting to form – "Every good moment, every sad one as well. The days I have supported you and the days you have supported me. Those are the moments my heart truly fell for. I do care for Maki a lot, but that doesn't feel as deep as the one Sayaka, and it's not as deep as yours"- Makoto looked surprised as Kyoko jumped on him and kissed him. But it didn't take long before he kissed her back. She loved his lips. After about 3 minutes of pure passionate kissing, they finally separated – "umm… sorry… I don't know what happened to me"- she said, and he smiled – "well I hope it keeps happening, after all, I like kissing you"- he said, and her face exploded. – "Makoto stop teasing me!"- she said.

"Makoto! Are you Ok!?"- Asked Sayaka immediately after he entered the classroom, checking little by little his body, making him embarrassed as everyone in the classroom was watching at both of them – "Sayaka I'm ok."- he said trying and failing to hide his blush. Leon then slapped his back – "Man where we worried. When the teacher told us you were sick for over a week, we thought it was finally the end"- He joked only for Sayaka to punch him hard in the arm – "Don't joke like that!"- she said really mad, surprising him, who noticed everyone else looked just as mad – "Sorry! It was a Joke!"- Leon said apologizing quickly – "so man what happened to you"- Asked Yasuhiro. Makoto then tried to think of an excuse – "well… you see… I….! I was hit by a bus!"- Makoto said before as Byakuya, Kyoko, Mondo, Maki, and Mukuro facepalmed, and Makoto immediately noticed how ridiculous it sounded – "A Bus?!"- asked all of the ones who didn't know his secret in shock. – "Really?"- asked Leon, now feeling worse about the joke he made. Makoto then quickly shook his hand

"Hey, It doesn't matter… I mean I am fine"- Makoto said trying his best to motivate and make everyone calm down. Just then Chihiro noticed something weird on his computer – "Uh!? That's weird"- he said verifying his computer. Both Mondo and Taka looking at him – "what is it Chihiro?"- Asked Mondo, Chihiro still typing on his laptop – "well apparently all the systems and screens around the world had been hacked and are showing …. Something around"- he said a little confused while they all looked confused – "Chihiro can you show it to us?"- Byakuya asked while some of them went directly to see in social media what was happening only for their cellphones, tablets, etc. to show a live stream. Which was just starting

"What the?"- asked Taka extremely confused as the image showed what could only be described as a mass church meeting. Makoto looked surprised as he noticed a couple of people he knew. His mom, Silen, and Kazuo himself dressed as the pope – "What the?"

"May God bless all of you"- Kazuo started as everyone started praying – "I am Kazuo Tengan, ex- exorcist of the church. But now I and all my followers call Me Pope Kazuo of the church of Humanism Catholicism"- he proclaimed as everyone there started singing a chorus – "We were believers of the church, the group who promised us peace and stability in this time of need, but just like us, you all have been lied to" – he said. Makoto looking a little angry

"Although the exorcists themselves are humans, they and the church of Catholicism have been working and allied to the reaper system and the Togami Company, but even then they keep secrets from you"- Makoto eyes widened… he wouldn't…- "the Togami company, not only are they using and working for hand by hand with ghouls. But they are hiding the original demon. The monster that created the Ghouls!"- everyone looked shocked, some for one reason and the others for another – "But sadly I won't tell its name just yet"- he said as Makoto heartbeat by a million – "after all, I will admit he is doing a good job as a Reaper"

"but it won't be long until he won't be necessary and we can take him out of the equation"- he said as both Silen and Martha walked forward – "These ladies are the next step of human evolution Neo-Humanus if you like"- From Martha's Hand then appeared a blade and from Silen's appeared a whip – "they had been genetically modified, yet still human, with the cure to Ghoulism. Those weapons are enhanced with a special anti-virus that eliminates the ghoul demonic virus, rendering Ghouls and turning them human again"- they all looked shocked at what he said, as he said that a couple of men brought a chained up ghoul – "and as a proof"- he then nodded at Silen, who grinned and whipped her whip to the ghoul, injuring him. The Ghoul then screamed in pain, as his mutated body returned to his human form, they then released him. Who immediately tried to change forms and kill them, only to see it wasn't working – "What? What have you done to me!?"- the ex ghoul screamed before the men grabbed him again- "This won't stop us! – he then pulled him away – "as you can see the antivirus works perfectly, and we even created a vaccine version of it. And although we can't show you… it even works on the original demon itself"- as he said that Sayaka, Sakura, and Hina looked at Makoto, who was holding his shirt where the wound used to be – "and although it can't heal him… it will be able to kill him"- their eyes widened as they finally understood… Makoto wasn't sick… he almost died because of that antivirus – "so I beg of you, humans of the world to join our cause, to get vaccinated, and to help us win this war once and for all!"- the stream then simply just ended… leaving everyone in silence. Makoto then clenched his fist and teeth.

"dammit"

"Makoto!"- Sayaka then said after classes ended. Makoto and his team were one of the first ones to leave the room as they were going to where Jin and Kijo were. – "what is it Sayaka?"- he asked trying to act calm. Only to be surprised as she looked extremely mad – "Makoto… I want you to come with me to my room"- she said. Makoto looked a bit confused before he looked at the others… they looked at each other, but only Kyoko stepped in – "Makoto, you should go with her. We will talk with Jin and Kijo" – Makoto was a little surprised over her answer, because although Sayaka and she were in better terms… it didn't change the fact that they were competing for him. But the fact that Kyoko had let Sayaka be with him alone... Meant it was serious.

Makoto nodded and they left to Sayaka's room. As they entered Makoto felt a little worried – "So… how are…"- but before he could finish, he felt a hard slap on his face, surprising him. And then she hugged him tight – "You dumbass!"- she screamed angrily, and Makoto hugged her back – "idiot, idiot! Why didn't you tell me you were… you were… almost dying"- she screamed as she cried and Makoto hugged her more, she then separated and looked directly at him, looking mad – "tell me everything"- she ordered. Makoto then sighed and explained everything.

"so that's everything"- Makoto finished, he then looked at her who was crying – "Why? Why are they so bad with you!? You are so nice and caring… you even care about them… when they only want to hurt you"- She said as she cried deeply. Makoto then hugged her, surprising her. He then helped her raise her face and look directly at his eyes – "It's ok Sayaka. For every Million who hate me… there is one like you who truly cares for me… and for me that is a million times more important"- he then stole a kiss from her, surprising her… before she closed her eyes and enjoyed the kiss as well. After the kiss finished they both looked at each other, Sayaka's face turned red as a tomato – "Sayaka… is this kindness that makes me love you"- he said smiling softly, she then blushed even more – "I love you too Makoto" – they both then kissed again.

Makoto's cell phone then rang again ruining the mood – "Umm…?"- Makoto looked a little confused. But Sayaka nodded. Makoto then took his phone and answered – "yeah? What?"

I know is short, but the reason is to have it as a mid-season thing I guess… only mid-season is only maybe half a week to a week.
