"If I do this… would you not hurt Makoto?" – Tsumugi then asked seriously – "We wouldn't need a reason to find him until the serum is made"- he said. She looked deep into his eyes trying to find any lies on them… but couldn't find them. – "ok I'll do it"- Silan and Markus looked at her in shock – "Tsumugi"-Silan said almost like a plea.

"Silan I'm doing this for Makoto. If it will protect him for a while… then is worth it. So before… this happens…. I thank both you and Luzia for being my friends… and please protect Makoto in my stead"- Markus looked mad… she was still thinking about him. Silan looked hurt. Luzia looked thoughtful but Rakdos (although he hid it) was delighted, he would finally get rid of that bitch. In the base of the Neo Exorcist, all the Exorcist are reunited to receive the direct news from the Pope Kazuo himself. They had all heard rumors of a possible raid or even war against the other associations. And in their madness were all excited over the preposition. They were all silent as they waited. And looked excited as the high Exorcists and Pope Kazuo took the stage.

Sayaka then walked back to Makoto's bed and Makoto let Junko in before closing the door Junko sat on the desk chair still being looked with distrust by Sayaka. He knew that nearby another exam like the one he had before (chapter 12) so he had to be in his best condition for the said exam. But even more surprisingly he then felt another one right after. As he thought what could it be… he finally realized a possibility maybe GH were fighting against ghouls nearby.

But just as that sudden realization appeared on his head, next to him something crashed the floor like a meteor hitting the ground and knocking him to the floor. After he managed to stand again he then looked to the crater confused and curious over what the fuck was happening. After the dust settled his eyes then widened as he saw an injured Silan on the crater – "Silan?"- he said quickly entering the crater to check if she was ok.

"Silan! Silan!"- Silan the woke up her eyer seeing Leon, and also seeing the curious bunch that wanted to see what was happening – "Leon? Is that you?"- She said as she regained consciousness. But then her eyes widened as she saw something following them and the grabbed Leon with her tentacles and jumped out the crater dodging her persecutor. As the crash happened all the people around then started screaming and ran away

Leon looked shocked as he saw the tentacles coming from her arms – "Silan… you are a ghoul?"- he said in shock. Silan then looked at him and released him – "run... away"- she ordered. – "wait Silan. Tell me. You can trust me"- he said but she looked mad – "I said Leave!"- she screamed, but then she felt two sharp pains on his chest as 2 black spikes hit her, and she fell to the floor.

"Silan you can't escape"- Leon heard someone say, as he looked where it was his eyes widened. Although her hair and eyes were black he recognized her immediately – "Luzia?"- Luzia then looked to where they called her and her eyes widened as she saw Leon there. What was he doing there? – "Leon?"- Oh no… he had seen her this way, he has seen her monster side. She couldn't let that happen… is was her mission to not get discovered – "It's my job"- Leon then noticed that Luzia's eyes turned blurry and she attacked him. Leon then closed his eyes and prepared for the worse. When he heard a weird sound, like a thump. He opened his eyes and saw Makoto there with a red sword in his hand. Leon then noticed that Luzia looked mad – "Damn vampire what are you doing here?"- she asked mad and surprising Leon over the term vampire – "well you are causing chaos Luzia… so we came to stop you"- Just then Luzia then noticed that she was surrounded by Mondo, Sayaka, Mukuro, Maki, Sakura, and Izuru. Seeing that her odds weren't great Luzia looked mad – "tch. Ok but that won't stop the doctor"- She said before she slammed her spider legs causing a huge explosion of dust and escaped.

"Makoto… what is happening?"- Leon then asked, but Makoto grabbed Silan – "I can't explain to you now. Let's leave before the problem arises"- Makoto said as he and his group left. Leon then noticed that the police and the GHA were arriving at the scene and left as well.

While this happened Jin and Kijo were in the Togami's meeting room with all the captains and the heads of the Crusaders. They were discussing the threat of war – "so what is our plan?"- Asked Mikas who had returned to active duty with a new robot hand – "We have to prepare to defend ourselves. We must call back all Reapers and Crusaders to get ready to fight back said attack"- Jin said as he analyzed the situation.

"and Naegi-kun?"- asked great Gozu getting everyone's attention – "will he be part of the war?"- everyone then looked at Kijo – "he won't"- said surprising them – "Makoto is an important piece of this fight and we need to protect him. After all, we wouldn't be able to understand the magnitude of consequence if the ghoul lost Makoto's source, would the virus go crazy? would it make them go berserk? After all, we can all remember the time Makoto was struck"- he said and they all agreed. When Makoto was on the verge of death the resonance struck every single ghoul worldwide – "so how are we going to keep him in the dark?"- asked Kyosuke and Kijo looked at Jin who nodded – "I, accompanied by Juzo, Kyosuke, and Yukizome will create a fake school trip to Hawaii. The purpose of this being to get him in a safe area"- he said and Kijo continued.

"While they do that we will strike the enemy base with of the assistance of the Crusaders and half our forces, while the other protects our base and people"- Kijo said and they nodded – "Mr. Dio I suggest you send this info to the Vatican as fast as possible so you also can protect yourselves"- Kijo said and Dio nodded before him and the other Crusaders left to bring the news of the fight.

"So Silan why are you here?"- Asked Makoto as they were surrounding her in the base. All of them, except Makoto, on high alert and ready to strike her out. Other than them Junko and Leon were looking from the top floor – "Vam… I mean Naegi-kun… I… need your help"- she said a bit embarrassed, Makoto looked confused while the others looked suspiciously at her – "help with what?"- he asked and she gulped

"they are going to kill Tsumugi"- she said shocking everyone – "what do you mean?"- She then looked down in despair – "The leaders of H.I.V.E have forced Dr. Tsesuna to begin the procedure for the immortality serum. They say that if he doesn't they will cancel his funding. So Dr. complied. But to create it he needs the vampire… since only he could survive the procedure"- she said and Makoto listened – "but… he doesn't want to capture you yet"- she said shocking and surprising everyone… wait the Dr. wasn't trying to get Makoto – "Why?"- Makoto asked suspiciously. She then looked away.

"Because the more you grow and fight as a vampire… the more ghouls grow as well"- Makoto's eyes widened in shock and he finally connected the dots… it was true that the Ghouls grew way stronger after started being more comfortable with his powers. He then clenched his fist in anger - *dammit* - "So in order to complete his orders from the higher-ups… he wants to use Tsumugi… but if he does. She will die"- She said sadly. Makoto then took a long and hard breath… he needed to concentrate at the moment.

"So what are you asking me? To give me to the Dr. so Tsumugi would be spared?"- Silan then shook her head – "No… I no longer care about them… Please save her!"- she said begging at Makoto… who could listen in her heartbeat she was not lying. – "Well…"

"NO YOU WON'T"- Kyoko then screamed already knowing his answer, and surprising everyone – "Kyoko I…"- Makoto tried to talk again only to be interrupted by Izuru – "Makoto I agree with Kirigiri. "But at least I need to try"- Makoto said – "I know I shouldn't be doing this… and I'm well aware of the possibility of all being just a lie to trap me… but it isn't then I would be sacrificing someone for my protection"- he said surprising everyone – "Silan you didn't say it, but I bet Tsumugi took the opportunity rather quickly didn't she?"- Silan eyes then widened. - *How did he know that? * she then gulped – "yes she did"- they all then looked sadly except for Makoto.

"see? While yes this could be a trap, if I let her die on my behalf… if she dies so I could be protected, I wouldn't be any better than the Dr. or Kazuo. So I have to at least try"- he said and they all looked sadly at him… of course, he would be like this – "but also I can't force any of you to come with me"- he said surprising them – "Silan when did they say they would start the experiment?"- he asked and Silan looked a bit surprised before she looked determined.

"they said they would start at the end of the week"- She said and Makoto smiled – "ok then that gives us 3 days to get ready and go. So this is my order for all of you. Leon was tearing up over how sad Makoto's life had been he said while they both were on the roof of the building. Makoto was sitting on the guardrail, while Leon was squatting under and holding the guardrail – "Dude why didn't you tell me before? I could have helped you deal with that pain"- he said crying and Makoto laughed a bit – "Well it feels better when you didn't know and were acting honestly like my friend" – Leon's eyes widened and he noticed what he meant. If people knew Makoto's secret, things would change on the way they treat him.

"So? How are you feeling about Luzia?"- Makoto asked and Leon went all serious – "I… don't know man. It's hard to know how to feel when someone tells you such a massive secret about your partner"- he then sat on the floor - "Makoto is everything you said true?"- Makoto then looked sadly to the sky – "Yes it is"- he said and Leon sighed – "man am I unlucky with the girls… I fall for one and she ends up lying and trying to kill me"

"I don't think that means she doesn't care about you"- Naegi said surprising him – "what?"- he said looking at Makoto – "You know I can hear a lot of things just by listening to a person heartbeat"- he said, confusing him – "and Luzia's was weird"- Leon didn't get where this was going – "before the day I skipped classes I always listened how she was. I was worried she would try to hurt you. And every time I could feel her disgust of being with you"- Leon then just felt worse – "but after that day… it was different. Every time you guys met I could feel warmness and happiness in her heartbeat"- he said smiling and Leon blushed a bit before he looked sad – "but if that is true then why did she attack me?"

"Because that's their job"- he said and Leon looked surprised, he heard her say that before she attacked him – "what does that mean?"- Makoto then looked to the sky again – "you see normal ghouls are mostly criminals who just want to add more weaponry to their arsenals. But they are different, they were chosen by the Dr. itself… if that is true then for them to accept turning into ghouls there must have been a reason big enough. If they accepted that deal it was under their own will. And since they did, they have to follow their part of the deal. In other words, she accepted to be turned into a ghoul to fix something in her life, then she must pay the price she took"- Leon then looked shocked – "I heard it… while she was attacking you, her heart wasn't in it. She was screaming to stop, but her body didn't follow"- Leon then hit his head on the guardrail, before standing and looking at Makoto – "Makoto I want to go with you"

"You know I can't let you do that"- Makoto answered calmly – "you would die there"- Leon then looked mad until his eyes widened – "what if I become a reaper before you leave?"- he said shocking Makoto – "I'll go take the test and gain the title of reaper… if I do that… would you let me go?"- Makoto looked surprised over his determined face, and then smiled – "Ok that's a deal"

Makoto and the others looked surprised as Jin announced about the field trip on the assembly hall. All of Hope's Peak, that being the Ultimates and the Reserve classes were going. While the people that didn't know Makoto's secret were all excited. Those who knew and especially Kyoko were all suspicious. The timing was too precise. – "so get ready and prepare your equipment, is going to be a fun trip"- And although Jin was better than others, both Makoto and Kyoko knew. Jin was lying. And Jin knew they knew he was lying. After the announcement, everyone was either confused, excited, or both – "Wooo Party! Yes, a free trip to Hawaii! Hey, should we be doing this with the ghoul invasion? Hey, don't worry I bet we are going with a lot of GH with us"- everyone said at the same time. On the other hand, Makoto and his crew reunited in the middle of the chaos – "so… what do you think the real reason is?"- Mondo asked and bot Kyoko and Izuru started analyzing – "We aren't sure, but the reasoning is obvious, they want to get Makoto out of here… that means that something big is coming"- Kyoko said. Makoto then sighed – "well that complicates my plan"- he said and although Kyoko was a bit suspicious about what was happening with her father, at the same time she was a bit glad that Makoto had to leave out of danger – "not like it will stop me"- Makoto said surprising everyone, especially Kyoko – "wait but…"- she said but then he looked at them

"just because they are trying to keep me away doesn't mean I will. I made a promise to Silan. So I have to do it"- Makoto said before leaving, Kyoko felt bad… she didn't want Makoto to go into danger… she had to stop it… but how. Kyoko was in her room. She had spent the last days thinking if she had to go through with this. She knew that Makoto wanted to save Tsumugi. But going to the belly of the beast… it was too dangerous… she needed to protect him. With a sad determination on her eyes, she walked to her father's office. She opened the door and he was writing something on his computer.

"ohh hi, Kyoko. What are you doing here?" – Jin asked curiously – "father… I need to tell you something"

The night before the mission.

Makoto was on the roof of Hope's Peak. Looking at the moon. He was thinking about what he had to do the next day. But then he closed his eyes – "Jin… what are you doing here?" – he asked as Jin walked to the roof accompanied by Kyosuke, Juzo, Yukizome, and Kyoko. – "Makoto, Kyoko has told me about your plans"- Makoto then looked sadly – "I see…"- Makoto then stood up – "so why are you here? To stop me?"- he said a bit serious.

"Makoto we can't let you go… don't you know how dangerous that is?"- he said while the other (except Kyoko) surrounded him – "I understand you want to help her, but if you go to where the Dr. is… who knows what could happen"- Makoto then sighed

"I know, but if I at least don't try, I will never stop regretting it"- Makoto said as he summoned his Katana and Kodachi, shocking Kyoko… he wouldn't. Jin then sighed as he pulled out his gun, Juzo put on his knuckles, Yukizome pulls out her knives, and Kyosuke his Katana. Kyoko looked shocked, she didn't want them to hurt Makoto. Makoto then looked around – "Jin… I'm going"- he said. Jin then sighed – "Makoto you won't leave"- Makoto then turned around and tried to dash, only for a gunshot to be heard and he fell as Jin shot his knee. Makoto then blocked Juzo, who quickly dashed and punched him in the center of all of them. After his knee healed, Makoto then stood up again.

"Makoto, you can't win… you are surrounded"-Jin then said and Makoto grinned – "let's see about that"- Before he could do anything Jin then shot him multiple times, while the other attacked him. Only for all of them to look shocked as Makoto's blood armor suit covered him.

Makoto's armor suit then flung them all away, as it adjusted to Makoto's body. Jin then sighed, he knew that they couldn't stop him… unless they went for the kill. So he gave the order, much to Kyoko's surprise. Makoto then looked around. He knew that even with his abilities, the possibilities of beating all of them were not even slim, rather impossible, especially since he was fighting Jin. Makoto had tried to spar with him but never managed to beat him. He needed to escape.

"Makoto close your eyes!"- he then heard from far as a small orb fell in front of him. Makoto then quickly did what the person said and covered his eyes, as the orb exploded into a flash of light, blinding his pursuers and Kyoko. Makoto took this opportunity to jump from the edge of the roof. But not before whispering to Kyoko – "I'm sorry" – she heard. After the light finally calmed down they noticed Makoto had escaped. Kyoko fell to the floor unto her knees. She had betrayed his trust to protect him… and yet she couldn't stop him, tears started falling from her eyes – "Makoto"

Makoto left where he heard the voice that helped him, it was a broken empty house. He then arrived and looked around, before he noticed who was and he smiled – "I see, so you managed to get it"- he said smiling as Leon appeared, his face full of band-aids, and his hands with bandages. He was wearing a bandoleer belt of bombs and a spiked bat – "I see you managed to get your reaper status?"- Leon then smiled

"Of course, I did"- he said proudly. Makoto then smiled – "and you guys… are you ready? After all, we will have to go today"- he said as from the shadows Sayaka, Mukuro, Izuru, Byakuya, Mondo, Maki, Silan (obviously), and Sakura were there – "what about Kyoko?"- Byakuya asked and Makoto looked sadly – "she made her choice" – he said before they all left.

Kazuo and his higher-ups were having a reunion of their own.- "Sir may I ask why we are rushing for the attack, it was supposed to be in the next 2 days. Why change it to midnight today?"- Asked one of his soldiers and Kazuo smiled – "that is so we can take them by surprise"- he said confusing them – "Nagito-kun if you could" – he said and Nagito entered with an AV monster hand grabbing a person – "We found a Togami rat in our group"- he said. Surprising them – "of course I was already aware of its existence, but now we will have the upper hand on our surprise attack"- he said and his soldiers got excited. – "Nagito-kun if you please"- Nagito then bowed and crushed the man, killing it quickly.

Well make ready for war… we leave at midnight"

As they left, Nagito noticed Martel – "So finally you will get rid of that wretched vampire. Aren't you excited?"- he said hopeful but Martel stared at him – "no… he isn't my target" – she said leaving a confused Nagito.

As midnight soon arrived Naegi and his team finally arrived at a roof near the H.I.V.E.S main quarters. It was a large building in the middle of the city. Byakuya looked surprised as he looked at it. It was the building of Tokichiro Endo a famous entrepreneur and billionaire, someone with almost the same level of power as the Togami – "so that's why we could never track them out… with that level of resources and power, it would have been impossible"- Togami said as they all were prepared for battle – "So what's the plan? I don't think we can go through the main door"- Makoto said and Byakuya sighed – "so you didn't come prepared?"- he said and Makoto laughed embarrassed – "Izuru are you able to hack the system and get out the blueprints?"- Izuru looked a bit offended as he took Byakuya's laptop and in less of 5 minutes managed to do just that.

"Wow that was quick"- said Mondo a bit impressed. They then noticed the full scale of the place. Other than the building, which on itself was massive. There was a huge laboratory underground of 4 floors down divided into different research areas. – "So Silan now that we have the map, do you know of any secret passageways we could use?"- Silan looked a bit surprised before she was determined once again – "yes. There is a route here"- she said pointing at an underground hallway

"It takes you directly to the first underground floor"- she said and pointed at the floor – "there is were the main testing of ghoulification and were they mass-produce the ghoul virus"- she explained – "and where is will Tsumugi be?"- Asked Sayaka a bit curious. Silan then looked nervous – "I believe the test will be on the 4rth floor underground… but I have never been there"- she said

"and why is that?"- asked Mukuro – "Because the Dr. said that laboratory would only become of use… after we got the Vampire"- they all looked surprised before they looked at Makoto. Who sighed – "I see, well then we have no other option but to go there"- Silan looked a bit guilty but continued – "there are 2 routes for going there. The first one being the elevator on the center and the second one being the emergency stairs"- she finished explaining.

"Ok seeing this, our best chance of getting there is through either by destroying the elevator, which would cause us to have a target on our backs. Or try to sneak around through the stairway. Seeing this our best chance is to sneak"- Byakuya said before Makoto felt something weird and his eyes glowed – "No there's no use in hiding"- he said surprising and confusing them – "they are waiting for us"- they looked shocked over the dilemma.

"don't worry It's not that they know we are here"- Makoto said smiling, softly – "then how do you know?"- Byakuya asked confused. Naegi then looked at the building – "Rakdos can't control his rage"

After they got ready they all walked to where the entrance was. Byakuya stayed as the strategist. As they arrived they noticed a couple of ghouls protecting the doorway. Apparently, after Silan's escape, they increased security in the area.

Makoto and Mikan then quickly disposed of them and they slowly entered. As they walked through the hallway, they noticed that there was a severe lack of protection, which they found suspicious. As they walked to the stairway, they noticed they arrived in an empty large room.

"that's ominous"- Izuru said and as they walked the door closed behind them – "well fuck"- Mondo said a bit annoyed. They then heard footsteps from the center of the room, where they saw Modore – "Just… like plan"- he said confusing them, and shocking Silan.

"Modore… why are you here"- Modore looked sadly – "Rakdos knew you would come… We all Elite Ghouls have secret tracker and chip on our bodies"- Silan looked shocked – "and Rakdos was following yours after Luzia came back"- Leon twitched as he heard her name – "Silan… Rakdos and the Dr. said they would forgive you"- Silan then looked mad – "No… not while they are going to torture my friend" – Modore then looked sadly.

"Then… me is sorry"- he said as he grabbed a button – "please forgive Modore"- he then pressed the button and Silan's head started hurting – "Silan?"- asked Maki, before her eyes went blank. They all noticed quickly and jumped far from her as she attacked them with her hydras – "I see so you took over her mind"- Izuru asked and Modore looked both mad and sad – "it's what the Dr. told me to do" – Modore said as the transformed

"What should we do Izuru? Fight them?"- Makoto asked and Izuru looked around – "We don't have time for that. If what that big one said is true they won't wait for us to start the experiment we have to go"- Makoto and the others then dashed to where Modore was but jumped back as a wave of lava almost hit them – "I won't let you go"- Modore said enraged. They then also started dodging the attack of Silan's Hydras. They then landed

*BOOOOOOOOOOM*

The floor then started shaking shocking everyone and an alarm sounded – "what happened?"- Modore asked confused. Taking advantage of this and reacting quickly Sakura attacked Modore while Maki took care of Silan – "leave this to us… just go"- Makoto looked doubtful… he didn't want to leave them behind, but Sayaka held his hand before running – "Makoto trust in them"- She said, Makoto then looked determined and ran behind them while Sakura and Maki got ready to fight this duo.

5 minutes before

Byakuya was checking his computer, he was tracking them on the map and checking any possible problems when he started listening to a large group of cars finding their way to the building.

Curious about the fact he brought out his binoculars and noticed the building was fully surrounded by Neo Exorcists, shocking him. He saw a group of them keeping people around far from the place. And Byakuya looked confused until he heard another sound. It sounded like a rocket in the air. When he looked his eyes widened as 3 missiles flew and crashed into the building exploding on hit.

Then from all the vans a small army of Neo Exorcists came out of them and rushed to war – "what the hell?" Byakuya said shocked

On the other side of the city, the reapers and crusaders fought the Neo Exorcists. They also were struck by missiles and Kijo was injured in the attack – "sir are you ok?"- asked a couple of reapers as they entered the ruined office – "Yes… I'm ok"- Kijo said as he held his injured and bleeding side – "Damn it Kazuo… you took us by surprise"- he said annoyed.

"Sir orders?"- asked one of the reapers – "send all the reapers and captains to fight, and help evacuate all the non-fighters safely outside of here"- he ordered and the two reapers looked at him – "and you sir?"- he asked

"we will take care of him"- They heard Ruruka, Izayoi, and Seiko say- "Captain Ruruka"- the reapers said bowing to her – "so just follow your orders"- the two reapers then left – "I'm ok. Don't worry about me"- Kijo said but the three of them bowed to him – "Sir we must help you evacuate… you are injured"- Kijo was going to complain but sighed before they left.

The trio then started guided him Izayoi taking out the Exorcists with his blades and Kijo drugging them into submission. But as they reached the exit they saw a pair of people surrounded by the dead bodies of reapers, crusaders and exorcists alike – "for Atua, none of these people are our target"- said a tanned girl with white hair, while the large Muscular man with messy green hair – "must find him to complete the mission"- he said calmly before looking down – "sorry humans"- he apologized before they looked at the trio protecting Kijo – "Ohh hi. Are any of you Kijo Togami?"- they asked and they prepared themselves – "Is it you?"- their eyes widened as the white-haired girl appeared behind him touching Kijo – "You look injured, are you ok?"- she asked, without a second thought Izayoi attacked her, and his eyes widened as she stopped him with a paintbrush – "Hey that is not nice" -she said annoyed before she swung her paintbrush and it slashed his chest. Making him fall to the ground bleeding a lot – "Angie… no more killing"- the large man said and the girl sighed – "Ok Gonta… after all, we just need Mr. Kijo right?"- she said looking at Kijo Togami.

Makoto didn't know what was happening, for some reason, there was a loud sound of shots, a lot of blood. But he didn't have time to investigate, he needed to go to where Tsumugi was they were taking out any ghouls that stood. Until they arrived at the room before the stairs. Where Markus was waiting.

"hey, guys keep going… I'll take care of him"- Makoto said confusing the other – "But Makoto"- he then smiled at Izuru – "I have to do this"- Sayaka then looked sadly – "be careful"- she said before Mondo, Mukuro, Leon, Sayaka, and Izuru kept going. Markus didn't even care about them. Instead, his burning gaze connected unto Makoto.

"so why the hatred Markus… I thought you were the most chill of them"- Makoto said joking but without waiting a second Markus then turned into his evolved form – "I guess there won't be any talking"- Makoto said as he pulled his sword – "it's your fault"- Markus said confusing Makoto

Markus then dashed trying to claw him, but Makoto quickly dodged attacking with his sword slashing his paw. Without a second thought at Markus landed he the pounced at Makoto mid-air. Bitting his arm, but surprised as Makoto's armor suit protected him. Makoto then slashed attacking him slashing an X on his chest. Markus landed again injured while Makoto stared at him. Makoto could feel his blood boiling with anger.

Markus then started running at him in four legs before attacking him with martial arts. But every single strike was easily dodged by Makoto, who made him trip to the floor. Enraged Markus stood and started attacking again, only to the same result. Makoto then sighed

"Why are you desperate Markus?"- he asked, Markus, looked mad and swung to his feet only for Makoto to jump dodge back – "I have to beat you and capture you quickly"- he said as he stood again – "Because of Tsumugi?"- Makoto asked shocking him. Makoto then smiled softly – "I see… you love her" – Markus then blushed

"NO I DON'T"- he said angry and Makoto laughed – "you can't lie to me"- Makoto said and Markus looked mad – "no the real question is… why instead of trying to save her you are here?" – Makoto then said seriously. This irritated Markus.

"I am trying to save her! If I capture you, they won't have to use her!"- he screamed angrily, Makoto then sighed – "I see… and what if I hadn't come"- he said shocking Markus – "what if I had abandoned her and let her die… what would you have done?"- Markus then looked away – "If you wanted to help her… you should have helped Silan"- Makoto said.

"SHUT UP YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT US!"- Markus screamed fully enraged – "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT WE HAVE SUFFERED"- Makoto then closed his eyes – "That is true… but you also don't know what I have gone through. And believe me when I tell you… any pain you have suffered… is a drop in the bucket that is my life"- Markus eyes widened as he saw Makoto's eyes… he wasn't lying. Markus then resolved himself – "Enough talking… let's fight" – Makoto looked sadly

"I guess I have to force you to understand"

Sayaka ran with the others as they finally arrived on the second floor and where running through the hallway. The alarm rang high and they noticed that a lot of ghouls were mobilizing themselves to the higher floors to fight the enemy… as they ran through a second laboratory Izuru's senses activated and he told everyone to duck and dodge behind a table as a sudden barrage of bullets attacked them from behind. After the barrage ended they looked back and to their surprise saw a squadron of Neo exorcists there - "why the fucking hell are there Neo Exorcists here?"- asked angry Mondo. This had taken them fully by surprise – "Guys are you there?"- they then finally heard Byakuya – "Finally I'm able to connect"- he said

"Byakuya what is happening?"- Asked Izuru – "I don't know… the Neo Exorcist just appeared and started attacking the building. Is pure chaos here between ghouls and Neo exorcists"- Izuru's eyes then widened - "I see so this was the reason for the school trip. Byakuya how is the Togami company?"- Byakuya then asked why he asked

"If I'm right the Neo exorcist attacked the Togami main building as well"- This shocked everyone there – "what should we do?"- Mukuro asked Him. He then thought for a while, the barrage of bullets still behind him – "we must follow through. We made a promise to Makoto to save Tsumugi"- Mondo looked a bit surprised. Izuru had changed a lot from a selfish serious person to a thoughtful one. He smiled determined - * Makoto sure knows how to help others * - he thought.

"Guys leave I'll take care of them"- Mondo said, surprising the others – "I'll stay too and provide you with suppressing fire"- Mukuro said and Mondo nodded. After the barrage ended both Mukuro and Mondo came out and started firing making the squad find hiding – "Go now!"- Mondo said and Leon, Sayaka, and Izuru ran to the next exit.

"Well let's have some fun"- Mondo grabbed his Ax with pure determination

As the rest of the team kept running, Leon was deep into his mind. Seeing all those ghoul fighting, seeing all the Neo exorcist attacking. Was this the world Luzia wasn't telling him. He needed to see her… he needed to tell her how she felt.

As they arrived on the 3rd floor they noticed a large group of dead Exorcists covered in spikes and a lot of ghouls slashed. And as Sayaka noticed this, her eyes widened… those slashes… looked similar to her style.

After a while still running they finally got to the room before the stairway they looked shocked as there was a fight currently happening between Luzia and Martel – "Who are you cunt?"- Luzia said angry as she shot her spikes but Martel easily managed to parry them. Sayaka looked surprised. The way that woman was moving was beautiful, so perfectly – "that's Makoto's mom"- Izuru said shocking Sayaka. But while they looked at Martel, Leon couldn't stop looking at Luzia. His heartfelt sad as he looked at her.

"Twilight moon-style"- Martel started shocking Sayaka and Leon. Leon knew that if it hit Luzia she would die – "Crescent moon Sl…" but was interrupted at Leon threw a bomb at her and she jumped back to dodge. Luzia looked shocked as Leon appeared in front of her to protect her – "Leon why are you here?"- Asked Luzia shocked his appearance – "Don't worry about that. Just pay attention to that woman"- Martel was a bit surprised over the sudden attack, but then glared at him. She then Silent step to slash him, only to be blocked by Sayaka's own technique, surprising Martel. How did this girl know Twilight Moonlight-style?

"Sayaka?"- Leon asked and Sayaka looked mad at Martel – "she is mine Leon, take care of Luzia, Izuru keep going"- Leon and Izuru looked confused before they nodded. Izuru then ran through them. – "No you aren't"- Luzia said as she targeted him with spikes only to be intercepted with Leon's bombs – "Luzia… is me who you have to deal with" – Luzia looked a bit surprised… but then looked determined and mad at him – "I guess this is our second couples fight"- Leon joked.

Makoto and Markus were still fighting. Or more than a fight it was just a one-sided massacre. Markus was breathing hard while Makoto looked calm and slashing him. Markus then fell to his knee – "Markus you can't beat me"- Makoto then said as he started walking to the exit

"I already know I am weaker than you"- Markus said stopping him in his tracks – "But I have to do this for her"- he said as he pulled a syringe. Makoto looked a bit shocked… he didn't know what it was inside of it… but it felt dangerous. Makoto then looked shocked as he stabbed himself with the syringe and push the liquid. Makoto's blood started resonating in pain as Markus's muscles bulged and he grew. At the same time while Markus roared in pain.

After a minute of pure rage, steam appeared surrounding Markus. After the steam dissipated Markus was there in his tiger form… but much skinnier than before… normally he wouldn't look like a threat… but Makoto could feel a deep fear deep inside him.

Makoto's eyes widened as Markus appeared in front of him and punched him sending him flying to the closest wall creating a huge hole on it. Makoto then fell to the ground and started vomiting blood. Makoto's armor suit was broken and he knew that all his ribs were pure dust and most of his organs were destroyed. He then started feeling an intense hunger as his body went into emergency mode and started healing.

Out of pure instinct, Makoto dodged another strike from Markus. He noticed that Markus's eyes were purely red. He was berserk. Makoto's armor suit then reformed as an extra layer of protection and Makoto summoned his swords and attacked him but Markus quickly parried him, before grabbing Makoto and crushing his head on the floor before dashing and dragging him on the floor and throwing him to the other side. Making a crater on another wall. This time his armor suit sustained his injuries but because of all the blood loss, he had suffered he fell to the ground. His breath was uneven and his hunger was screaming inside of him. He then saw Markus walking to him. He knew that if he took another strike he would be done for. With the little energy he had, he then summoned one Katana. And prepared himself into a pose.

"Crimson… Moonlight – Style"- Makoto said weakly. Markus then dashed to attack him. Makoto didn't want to attack him… but it was either life or death – "new… Moon… Slash"- he said swinging his sword with all his remaining strength. Stopping Markus mid-air – "Make… sure… to save her"- Markus said smiling softly before his body was slashed in half killing him. Makoto then fell to the ground weakly and fainted he needed blood… and as that thought came to his mind, all of Markus's blood slide to his body and was absorbed. And Markus memories came with it… and especially the one where he met Tsumugi, which was burning deep into his soul.

Markus was an orphan poor child from Cuba… he was in an alleyway where he had decided he would die. He had no strength in his body, he was hungry and weak, and finally gave up. He then closed his eyes as he waited for death – "are you hungry?"- he then heard and slowly opened his eyes, seeing a young Tsumugi and a ghoul. But didn't have the strength to talk. Tsumugi then pulled some food from her backpack (that she only had so she didn't look suspicious) and gave it to him – "eat well. Or you won't grow"- She said smiling. With the last of his strength, Markus devoured all the food and Tsumugi smiled, making him blush

"Mistress we have to leave"- the ghoul said and Tsumugi pouted – "Ok… well see ya"- she said and Markus blushed – "wait… what is your name?"- he asked before she smiled and it hit deep into his heart – "My name is Tsumugi"

….

Maki and Sakura were fighting against Modore and Silan. While Modore was fully conscious and fighting against Sakura. Maki was taking care of Silan's Hydras – "Silan stop already"- Maki said as she fought against her. But Silan wasn't reacting.

"Silan won't answer"- Modore said as he struck Sakura, who managed to block him but was burned severely – "She has lost her soul"- he said sadly. Anger then filled him as he started attacking Sakura, who dodged all his attacks. – "If you didn't want to make her like this… why did you turn her?"- Asked Maki still dodging the attacks. – "Is Modore's Job… Modore promised the Dr. to follow him" – he said. As he remembered his past.

Modore was from a small village in Nigeria Africa. He used to live with his family until a group of Bandits attacked and killed everyone. But then a group of H.I.V.E men appeared and stopped them. Modore was under burning debris until they managed to pull him out. His legs and back burned he was going to die. That was until Dr. Tsesuna found him – "Do you want to live young boy?"- he asked Modore looking at him – "I will save you, but you must promise me… that no matter what… Follow me"- Modore then raised his hand begging for help.

Modore looked at them – "I have to follow the Dr."- he said as his whole body was covered in pure lava and a wave of lava appeared. On the other side, Silan Hydras multiplied and swarm into them. Her eyes blurry and under the control of the Dr. but deep in her mind she remembered how she ended like this.

Silan was a normal smart kid with a caring family. But she was bullied in school. Every day the other kids would torture her. Mistreat her abuse and hurt her both physically and emotionally. But one day she gave in to her rage and attacked her bullies. But instead of ending happy her life went downhill. She was expelled from that school. Her parents disowned her and abandoned her with her aunt and uncle who were abusive with her. But one day changed when a ghoul attacked and killed her uncle and aunt and instead of feeling afraid, she was glad… that ghoul (who worked for the Dr.) saw her potential and recruited her.

As their attacks close into Sakura and Maki they both took a heavy breath – "You guys really are strong"- Sakura started preparing into a stance and Maki smiled – "but we can't give up now"- Maki said as her hair turned into blades.

"Sakura-Style. Fist of the autumn petals"- Sakura said as she punched to where Modore was – "Black rose blades"- Maki said as her blades in her hair slashed everywhere. A second of silence appeared, before a huge punch of air dissipated the lava around them and made a hole in Modore's body, and both Silan and all her hydras were sliced. Silan being cut in an X. Maki felt bad doing it but noticed that Silan was smiling at her. As Modore fell Silan with the last of her strength went to him – "Silan… I'm sorry"- he said sadly, knowing his end was near. Silan then helped his head up and put it on her lap – "don't worry Modore… Just rest… Tsumugi will be safe soon"- She said and Modore's eyes started to drift - "I feel tired"- he said as he closed his eyes and she pets her head as she closed hers.

Both Sakura and Maki looked sadly as they saw that scene and saw them. They looked like they were both sleeping, but their souls no longer lived in their bodies.

Sayaka was fighting to the best of her abilities against Martel but it was obvious that their level of experience was far away. While Sayaka was exhausted, while for Martel, she was just playing with Sayaka. And Sayaka knew this, after all, Martel didn't even attack her once. Furious Sayaka looked at her – "why haven't you attacked me once?"- Sayaka then asked and Martel sighed.

"I have no interest in attacking a human… especially one who is training the same style as mine"- Martel said before she smiled softly – "so how is Minato?"- this made Sayaka mad, and attacked her again – "why would you care?"- Sayaka then said as she attacked her, and Martel dodged easily before she sighed – "Of course I'm worried about them. I love my husband and daughter"- Sayaka eyes widened before she felt even angrier – "and what about Makoto?"- Sayaka asked, and her eyes widened as Martel's eyes turned cold.

"What about that monster?"- Sayaka then felt a deep fear… not because Martel was stronger or anything… but instead, it was because for Sayaka… Martel represented what she would have become if she had also abandoned Makoto.

While this happened Leon was fighting with Luzia. But instead of attacking her, he was on the defense and injured. Although he wanted to fight her… he also didn't want to hurt her. Leon jumped behind a structure as Luzia's spider legs attacked him – "Leon why the hell are you here?"- She then asked madly as she tried to strike him but he hid – "I became a reaper to see you again"- he said shocking her. Leon then looked a bit surprised as the rampage of attacks suddenly stopped. He then looked at her.

"I see… so you are like them"- Leon looked confused before a spike hit him in the shoulder – "You are just like them… you think of us as monster!"- Leon then looked shocked – "You discovered your girlfriend was a ghoul and became a hunter to kill her isn't that right?"- she said

"That's not it!"- Leon screamed shocking her – "I… became a reaper… to see you again"- his face showing the pain inside of him. – "Luzia… I love you"- he said and Luzia stopped before her face turned red, breaking her bubble – "what the hell you mean with you love me? You don't know me"- she said blushing. Leon then walked to her and out of fear she stabbed him again in his other shoulder… But Leon didn't stop, shocking her. Out of pure fear she then walked back only to notice that behind her was a column. When Leon got to her he raised his hand, and she closed her eyes out of fear, but he instead held her face – "Luzia… I want to be with you… Can I ask this selfish wish?"- he said and tears started falling. All this time her determination was only caused by her regrets… she believed that it was only a job… then she didn't have to think about the pain of betraying Leon… of betraying Tsumugi. Tears then fell – "Leon… I"

But she was interrupted as a sudden pain hit her and she started coughing blood. Shocking Leon. She then looked down and Leon looked as well as from chest a white blade had come out – "One less monster"- Martel said as she stabbed Luzia from behind the pillar – "Leon?"- Luzia asked before she fell forward and Leon grabbed her – "Luzia… stay with me… please!"- he said as he started crying. Martel then parried Sayaka's attack – "You bitch… why did you do that?"- Sayaka said mad as she could feel Leon's pain – "It was a monster… so I attacked her"- Sayaka then felt an undying rage.

Twilight Moon-light style. Crescent moon" - she slashed a wind barrage attacked Martel. But to Sayaka's shock Martel blocked it easily – "well done… but you are weak still"- Martel then hit Sayaka's belly with the back of her sword and Sayaka fell to the ground in pain. Martel then walked to where Leon was. who was still trying to help Luzia and begging her to come back – "Little boy move… I'll make sure she is dead."- Leon then looked at her angrily and held Luzia close to protect her. Martel then sighed – "oh well then you should die with her"- Martel then swung her sword down and Leon closed his eyes.

After a couple of seconds, he noticed that he didn't feel any pain and opened his eyes, only to see a red spike blocking the attack – "That's enough mom"- they all heard and saw Makoto walking through the entrance. After he beat Markus and ran he met up with Mukuro and Mondo. Who told him they would stay to hold the fort and prevent anyone following him. Makoto looked worried but seeing their determination nodded and kept going until he arrived. Martel then looked displeased - "Disgusting monster. Protecting you kind?"- Martel said and Makoto smiled.

But they all were stunned in pain as Makoto released his pure bloodthirst – "I said stop bitch"- Makoto said coldly. Martel felt a deep fear as she could sense her death. She then unsummoned her blade, and smiled evilly – "I always knew you were a monster"- She then used her silent step and left. Immediately Makoto went to Sayaka to see if she was ok – "I'm ok Makoto"- she said smiling sadly… but Makoto knew… she was frustrated… she was too weak. Makoto then hugged her – "You did your best"- Sayaka then cried a bit.

"Luzia stay with me please… why is this happening? the AV is supposed to take out your virus… but you should be ok…if we go to the Togami… we still have time to help her… right Makoto?"- she asked and Makoto looked away. He knew that Luzia was going to die. Maybe he should.

"No Makoto…if you do that… Kyoko's mom will die. You can't save everyone"- Ezio said sadly and Makoto looked more in pain. Leon then felt Luzia's hand touch his face – "Leon I can't be saved… after we evolved our bodies became more like the Vampire's than our human versions"- Leon was crying heavily. With the least of her strength, Luzia then kissed him – "I'm happy I met you in the end Le….on"- she said as she fell into sleep and she died on his arms. Leon then held her close and cried.

"Leon… I'm sorry"- Makoto said heartfelt – "Makoto… go without me… I need some time alone"- Makoto felt bad but nodded either way as he and Sayaka kept going. Leaving Leon and Luzia alone.

Tsumugi was in a cell room when she heard the alarm, not because she wanted to escape… instead of security measures. Confused she then asked the guard outside what was happening – "The Vampire and the Neo exorcists, apparently invaded the base"- Tsumugi looked shocked it was obvious that Makoto wasn't here with the Neo Exorcist… and the Neo Exorcist raid was probably an attack to H.I.V.E… So why was he here? For a second she thought it was because of her… but then thought otherwise – "He is probably attacking H.I.V.E as well and it's just a coincidence. She thought. Just then the Dr. entered with Korekiyo – "Miss Tsumugi, we have to leave. Enemies are attacking out the base"- the Dr. then said. Tsumugi was a bit surprised – "But what about the research and everything"- The Dr. the smiled as he pulled out a USB from his pocket – "Worry not Miss Tsumugi I have everything I need to restart everything"- he said proudly, Tsumugi was a bit worried but nodded either way. As she started following the two.

Izuru was fighting against Rakdos in his 2nd form. Immediately as he arrived on the 4th floor Rakdos started attacking him without any regards. But because of Izuru's abilities, Rakdos failed to kill him. Which Izuru counter-attacked with his tonfa gun, only to be blocked by Rakdos. As they moved and fought at high speed they each had "turns" into the fight. One would attack the other would block or dodge and immediately follow up with a counter-attack.

After 2 minutes of pure mayhem, they finally separated – "I must say I'm really impressed I thought you would be dead by now"- said Rakdos as small cuts appeared on Izuru's chest – "I believed the same"- Izuru the responded as to Rakdos shock a small cut appeared on his neck. Rakdos looked annoyed over the fact that Izuru had managed to hurt him – "Ok… then I guess its time to get serious"- he said as a purple liquid covered him and turned him into a purple crystal version of him.

Izuru looked a bit surprised and noticed that the floor where he was walking was releasing a purple noxious gas – "Poison I see"- Izuru said as he got ready as well. He now knew that he couldn't be caught by that or would die. Rakdos then dashed to him and started attacking. And Izuru was only in the defensive. He had to dodge every single strike while he thought on a way to fight back

"what is it Mr. Smart boy? Can't fight back?"- Rakdos teased while Izuru dodge. But as he stepped back Izuru miss stepped over some debris and wasn't able to fully dodge getting slashed on his chest. As he landed his eyes then turned into gears and the world turned slow. He then slashed his side making himself bleed. After the time came back Rakdos looked shocked as Izuru was now bleeding. He was confused until he noticed that from his new injury a purple liquid came out.

Rakdos then looked shocked. It wasn't possible… did he injured himself where the poison was moving (I know this isn't possible but sounds cool). Then in less of a second Izuru disappeared and reappeared behind him, slashing him, and cutting his tail off. Rakdos then vomited blood and fell to his knees – "what the fuck happened?"- Rakdos said.

"you are done"- Izuru said as he aimed his bladed tonfas. Rakdos then looked madly. He needed to escape. Izuru then noticed that from his hand touching the floor a huge cloud of mist appeared. Knowing that it was poison, Izuru then jumped back covering his mouth and nose. After the mist dissipated Rakdos wasn't there. Izuru then fell to his knees as the pain of his self-inflicted injury.

"Izuru!"- he then looked back and noticed Makoto and Sayaka running to him – "are you ok?"- Makoto asked worried and Izuru sat on the floor – "I'm ok… just taking a rest"- he said and Makoto looked worried – "Leave me here. I'll follow you shortly"- He said… Makoto was worried and was going to argue. But knew that Izuru wasn't going to let him… so nodded – "make sure to take care of yourself"- Makoto said before he and Sayaka left again. They were walking down the stairs to the 4th floor

"Makoto are you sure?"- Sayaka asked worried about everyone – "Everyone trusts in me to be able to handle the problems… So, I have to do the same thing." – Makoto looked pained as he worried about his friends. Sayaka then stopped him and hugged him, surprising him – "I'll be ok… They will be ok… and I'm with you"- Makoto then smiled a bit and hugged her back – "yeah… let's do this"- Sayaka then smiled determined and they both kept running.

Injured Rakdos managed to find Dr. Tsesuna, Korekiyo, and Tsumugi – "my lord. The vampire is coming for Tsumugi"- Tsumugi looked shocked and blushed a bit – "I see. So he came for her"- he said and smiled a bit – "Maybe we should bring him with us" – He said with an evil grin – "It won't be necessary" – Korekiyo said confusing everyone.

As Makoto and Sayaka arrived their eyes widened in shock. The image in front of them was impossible to believe, but it was real. In front of them was Tsumugi who had fallen to the floor, and was looking in surprise, Rakdos who was looking horrified, the doctor throwing out blood as Korekiyo was stabbing him with a sand spike.

"Korekiyo… what is this?"- the Dr. asked angrily as he saw a strand of sand picking up the USB. – "well, doctor. Now that I have this information"- he said as his eyes turned red and Makoto felt a heavy thump on his chest – "I don't require you anymore"- Makoto then felt a cold fear – "Makoto dodge!"- he hears Ezio scream scared. Without a single thought, Makoto quickly pulled Tsumugi close with a blood chain and covered Sayaka, Tsumugi, and himself in a blood orb to protect them. While Rakdos took the Dr to protect him as well, as Korekiyo exploded in the sand, pushing, destroying, and corroding everything around.

As the blood shield come down Makoto looked at the mayhem everything around them had turned into sand. Rakdos managed to protect the Dr. by melting some of the sand with his poison. Korekiyo then looked around – "Not even one… I must be getting rusty" – he said as he rose his hand to attack the Dr. and Rakdos again.

"that's enough Korekiyo"- they then heard someone say. They all looked at where the voice came and looked at a group of people. (presenting from the left to right.)

A girl with dark skin, and white hair wearing a white, frilly bikini top and a yellow smock which reaches below her knees, sleeves lose and wide as they stop before her wrists.

A boy with a very tall and muscular teenager with tanned skin. He has a noticeably angular face and very long, unkempt brown hair, with a tint of dark sap green and noticeable prominent curls. Wearing a brown school blazer and matching brown pants, a dark, lime-green tie, and is barefoot. And he carried a bug box strapped over his shoulder which rests at his hip.

A small girl pale skin, and chin-length red hair. Her most notable trait is her black "witch hat", with a red stripe around the middle of it, a small pin on the cloth. She also wears brown medieval boots with white ribbons tied around her ankles, dark brown tights, and a pleated bubble red skirt. Around her shoulders is a black blazer with grey accents, with a grey blouse underneath a brown sweater vest.

A pompous young man with gel-spiked purple hair that's grown out both at the top and bottom of his head and a short goatee. His eyes are a warm lilac, and he has fairly long eyelashes. Wearing a white t-shirt kumadori design stamped on it, on top of that he wears a long-sleeved dress shirt with a breast pocket. On this shirt are black buttons that are currently not in use. On top of that, he wears a long, purple blazer with a galaxy design on the inside of it.

The center one was a boy with the curly hair the color of green tea, which he keeps relatively short, a small patch at the base of his head completely shaved, with two short ahoges sprouting from the top of his head. He has a few longer clumps of hair hanging down in front of his left ear and between his eyes, and long bangs that cover the majority of his forehead, side-swept so as not to impair his vision. He was wearing a dark blue striped sweater with wide, elbow-length sleeves, a small chain accessory pinned on just beside his right shoulder. Underneath this, he wears a darker shirt that pokes out from below the hem of his sweater and from above its low-dip collar, still leaving his collarbone exposed and another white garment that hangs out of the bottom. He also wears baggy, light-brown sarouel pants, and navy-blue slip-on shoes with white soles.

A tall thin girl with pale, sandy blonde hair with a green tint and long bangs that obscure her left eye wearing a maid uniform. Her maid uniform consists of a long black apron dress in a pinafore style with a spiderweb motif, four white buttons along the middle of the torso of her dress

A small man with a soft appearance, but contrary to his soft appearance, he has a very deep voice. He has cropped red hair. Wearing a black hat with two points that has a picture of two blue tennis rackets on it, a black leather jacket, and a black and dark blue striped jumpsuit underneath, similar to that of a prisoner. He wears black shoes with red soles and has a metal cuff attached to his left leg with a bit of a chain attached.

Another young man with an innocent look and a rather refined face. He has a short stature, a thin build, and very pale skin. He has purple eyes and moderately long, wavy blackish-purple hair, with the tips dyed a brighter purple. He was wearing a white suit with multiple straps wrapped around his arms, and two straps hanging loosely around his legs.

And finally a girl with fair skin, her legs maybe a little tanned, and is quite an athletic build, with notably wide shoulders and quite large muscles Her hair is dark brown with a slight green tinge, and rather thin, and in length, it reaches about halfway down her calves. It's tied behind her with white ribbons in two low bunches, three extra hair ties placed at even intervals down her pigtails, the hair between them split into two clumps, leaving the last and longest stretch loose. Wearing a double-breasted crop top, a rather desaturated blue, with the flannel collar of a seifuku, a large white bow sitting just underneath it in the center of her chest. This collar is white, with a blue line around the edge which matches her knee-high socks and the cuffs of her sleeves. Her skirt is very short and has two layers of thick frills.

They all had red eyes and Makoto could feel a deep fear as he could feel the connection with them. Korekiyo then bowed to the one in the center – "Master Rantaro, I have obtained the research of Dr. Tsesuna"- He said as he presented the USB to Rantaro who took it – "You have done well Korekiyo… but please get rid of that disgusting ghoul DNA… it's making me uncomfortable"- Rantaro said. Korekiyo then looked away took down his mask and spit purple glob blood. And his aura changed entirely.

"and what about the leaders of H.I.V.E?"- Rantaro asked – "they are all dead" – he said shocking everyone – "who the hell are you?"- Rakdos then asked enraged and Rantaro looked at him, like he was a bug – "I don't need to answer trash" – he said but then the Dr. stood, still injured and in pain, but with a proud smile. – "I see… so you are just like my cute guinea pigs… you are all vampires"- he said shocking everyone. But especially Makoto, Sayaka, and Tsumugi then looked at Makoto noticing that he was shacking. They have never seen her like this before.

Rantaro then rose his hand, only to be stopped by the guy with purple hair – "Rantaro that's enough. We don't need to create bloodshed in front of our new little brother" – he said. Korekiyo then looked angrily – "Kaito how dare your order our lord"- he said enraged only to be stopped by Rantaro – "Korekiyo he is right"- Korekiyo looked a bit surprised but then bowed.

"so this is our cute little brother? He's grown so much"- the tanned girl with white hair said as she appeared in front of Makoto, Sayaka, and Tsumugi, shocking them… how did she get there so fast. She then licked her lips – "Maybe I should see how big he has gotten"- she said seductively making Makoto blush – "Angie doesn't try to fuck the new kid"- the girl in the maid costume said and Angie pouted – "Kirumi, but he is so cute" -she said and Kirumi sighed.

"Who are you?"- Makoto then asked now trying his best to keep calm. Angie then pulled him up quickly, although Makoto was a bit bigger than her – "well little young one we are your family"- she said confusing him. Making Kaito laugh and Kirumi sigh.

"what she means is that like you we are vampires… or at least that how you guys call us… we call ourselves the Clan of the Night"- Kirumi said. Makoto understood that but didn't understand what it meant. But apparently, Kaito also noticed his confusion – "What she means is that we are what you people call Nosferatu… Vampires original. And although you aren't a 100% pureblood, you are part of our clan" – he said and Makoto could feel some connection to this said family.

"That's enough… did you guys completed your missions?"- Korekiyo asked. Kaito then looked at him laughing embarrassed and Kirumi looking a bit ashamed – "well Kazuo and Nagito escaped, but Himiko and Tenko managed to take care of Dio and Ryoma eliminated Lorenzo"- Makoto looked shocked they had managed to take care of so many important people.

"and Kijo?"- Korekiyo asked and Angie pouted while holding Makoto – "He escaped… but we managed to hurt him really bad… so I don't think he will be moving soon" – she said proudly. This made Makoto mad. Who released himself from her surprising her. Before he summoned his swords – "What did you do to Kijo?"- he was still afraid but was still standing – "Why are you mad… we did it for you… know there is no one controlling you"- Angie said smiling and Makoto looked angrier. Preparing to fight.

While this happened Rakdos tried to help Dr. escape. But was noticed by Tenko. Rakdos then looked surprised as Tenko appeared in front of them – "where do you think you are going disgusting man?"- she said. Out of desperation Rakdos then attacked her only to be stopped by one finger – "disgusting man you are trying to touch me"- Rakdos arm then twisted by himself and it was ripped off – "AHH!"- he screamed getting everyone's attention. Rakdos then the whole body started getting twisted. He knew it was his end… he didn't want to die. He then with the little strength he had risen his other hand to where the Dr. was – "Father… please help..."- and his body exploded from inwards as his body couldn't get more deformed.

Makoto, Tsumugi, and Sayaka looked horrified and disgusted. While the Dr. then looked surprised. But instead of shock or fear, he was excited – "amazing. How are you able to do that? Rakdos has my cute Guinea pig DNA so you shouldn't be able to control him, and yet you were able to twist his whole body"- The Dr. then analyzed what happened – "I see when you touched him you probably injected him with some of your blood to take over his body"- he said making Makoto angry… how he could disregard Rakdos life so easily. While Makoto looked mad the Vampires looked more disappointed. They had the seen human selfishness but even them were disgusted

"Disgusting old man. Stop analyzing me"- Tenko said as she was going to touch him – "Tenko do not kill him yet… we still need him"- Kirumi said stopping her. Kirumi looked mad – "Himiko take him"- Kirumi said and the short girl with the witch hat then rose her hand, and from her sleeves, a giant blood looking blanket that surrounded the Dr. After that she pulled it from the Dr. and he was gone.

Makoto looked shocked. How the hell did she do that? Kirumi was going to talk to Makoto only to be stopped by Kaito – "Kirumi you are a bit rough… let me do the talking"- he whispered to her before looking at Makoto – "well now that they are gone we can finally talk"- Kaito said a bit more relaxed.

"What do you want?"- Makoto asked. Trying to defuse the situation – "you don't be that defensive we won't hurt you"- Kaito said trying to calm him down. Makoto then looked back at Sayaka and Tsumugi. And Kaito sighed – "we won't hurt them either"- Makoto then took a long heavy breath, to calm down – "What do you want?"- Makoto said… he could feel it… they didn't want to hurt him and this Kaito was actually quite nice. But at the same time, both he and Ezio could feel the intense danger in the situation

"We want you to come with us"- Kaito said shocking the two girls behind Makoto – "why is that?"- Kaito then sighed – "you see you are special to us"- he said confusing Makoto – "Us Vampires are beings born older than men we are the ones who have guided humanity and we have been given a lot of multiple names: saviors, gods, etc."- he started explaining.

"We have been living together since the beginning of life… immortal and all-powerful. But other than us there were 3 other vampires… one by the name of Ezio, another by the Name of Arietta, and our leader Atua"- Makoto looked surprised as he looked at Ezio and she looked guilty – "Atua was the oldest of all of us… and the strongest, and Arietta was the youngest, we met her during the Triassic era. Atua guided us as our leader, and Arietta helped us. They both were close and fell in love. And from their love, Eziana was born. But Eziana or Ezio was unlike any of us… being born two powerful Night Clansmen she had powers we feared. And fearing we would kill her Atua hid her from us. We thought of this as treason and while he managed to hide her. We attacked him and drained him of all his blood, and sealed him inside the deep ruins in our hometown. While his wife hid their daughter"- Makoto found this strange, he had been drained of his blood before but it was never actually a problem. Kaito noticed this and sighed – "you see you can't kill a vampire, only sealed it. When a vampire uses a fang nail, even if is not attached, to drains all of another one's blood their body doesn't heal even if they don't die. Instead, they are sealed until they receive their blood"- he said and Makoto looked suspicious.

"And what power did Ezio had?"- he then asked suspiciously. Kaito then looked at Rantaro who nodded – "She had the power to kill another vampire"- Makoto looked surprised – "So what does that has to do with me?" – Kaito then looked at him – "we noticed our mistake…we want to bring Atua back"- he said. But Makoto didn't see the connection - "You have Ezio's body, when they turned you into a Vampire they used Ezio. And because you were compatible with her you changed"- Kirumi then continued with the explanation – "With a bit of your blood bring him back to lead us"- Kirumi said. Makoto looked a bit worried and Ezio looked sadly… apparently, there was still something she wasn't telling him.

"and what if I refuse?"- Makoto asked, already knowing the answer – "we will kill everyone in this building"- Rantaro said as he revealed his bloodthirst, stunning everyone there and making Makoto fall to his knees – "Then I…"

"die monster"- Kaito then heard behind him as Martel stabbed in the back with the AV weapon. Makoto was horrified… if she killed him… they would probably rampage. But to both of their shock Kaito smiled – "Ohh miss… that won't work on me"-Martel then swung her sword and noticed a severe lack of resistance. And once again Kaito was unharmed. Martel then struck him again and again. Until Rantaro started getting mad.

"I think that's enough"- Rantaro said as he rose his hand to Martel and her body tensed, betraying her brain and she started feeling pain. She was going to die – "wait! I'll go!"- Makoto said making everyone look at him – "you promised that if I left with you, you wouldn't hurt anyone… then I'll go with you"- he said panicked, and shocking Sayaka and Tsumugi

Rantaro looked at Kaito who only shrug his shoulders and Rantaro sighed releasing Martel. Makoto then unsummoned his blades before walking to them – "Makoto don't go! Please!"- Sayaka begged - "tell everyone I'm sorry"- he said without looking back as he walked to the Vampires. Himiko then covered all of them with a blanket and they disappeared. Leaving Sayaka and Tsumugi who both started crying.

After the fight stopped and the Reaper came to the place. they all came out of the building (Sayaka had explained to the best of her abilities what happened to Makoto, And Tsumugi was suffering the loss of her friends and Makoto) they noticed that Jin, Yukizome, Kyo, Juzo, Byakuya, and Kyoko were there. Seeing her team Kyoko and Byakuya then dashed to them but looked both confused and worried when didn't saw Makoto there.

"Sayaka… where is Makoto?"-she asked noticing that everyone looked sad and defeated – "Kyoko… we weren't strong enough… we lost"

God Damn this was a long chapter.

You guys, or at least whoever is still reading this story, don't know how long I have been waiting for this reveal. And believe me that from now on… it's on… And I will try my best to create and show you what I mean.
