The next morning, Robert woke up at about 7 am, to find Holly sitting next to him with the TV on.
"Hey, you've been awake long?" He asked as he gave her a kiss.
Holly kissed him back and shook her head no. "I just decided to turn on this old Charlie Chan movie. When I thought you were gone, I would sometimes just watch it and remember you telling me about it. It was the same when you were in your coma."
Robert was so touched hearing that. "You're incredible."
Holly looked over at him. "I know you did the same with Rebecca, even when it broke your heart. I don't think anyone has ever known the two of us better than each other."
"I would be money on that." Robert kissed her. If it were his choice, he would stay in bed with her all day, but he took his job seriously. There were things he had to work out. "We will pick this up later."
"Count on it." Holly grinned as she got up to get dressed too.
The two ate breakfast, and Robert went to work, Holly and Jayne went over to make sure Celia, Sasha, and Grant were okay.
Holly knocked on the door.
Grant let them in. "So good to see you two again." Grant gave them both hugs.
Holly smiled. "You too. How is Celia doing?"
"She's still very shaken. Holly, she can't wrap her mind around ending Gregory's life." Grant knew that Celia knew it had to be done, but he also wasn't surprised she was struggling so bad.
"Do you care if I try to talk to her again?" Holly asked.
"Not one bit. She's in the kitchen eating breakfast." Grant told Holly as him and Jayne went and sat down.
Holly went into the kitchen with Celia. "Mind if I join you?"
Celia smiled over at her and nodded. "Please do."
Holly took a seat. "Grant told me you were still having a hard time."
Celia nodded at her, sadness filled her eyes. "I know it had to be done, but it's hard to live with."
"I understand, but you had to protect your family. You absolutely had to. And you did. Gregory was going to kill you. He would have killed Sasha next, and he wouldn't have felt anything." Holly told her.
Celia knew what Holly was saying. "I know, I'm going to be okay. We are all safe, and Gregory can't mess with us anymore."
"Exactly. Maybe you should see Kevin?" Holly suggested to her.
"You know that might be smart. I could work through this. Would you come with me? You don't have to come in." Celia asked her.
Holly nodded. "Of course, anything you need."
