Holly and Jayne went back home as Robert went to the office. JJ was planning on doing what he could do and reporting back.

Holly looked at Jayne. "Are you sure you want to be involved?"

Jayne nodded. "Mum, I don't talk about it much but I did get involved in a few of JJ's assignments. I loved it."

Holly could see so much of herself in Jayne. "You never said anything."

"Bringing it up would have reminded me of what a ass I was to JJ." Jayne was not proud of herself.

"What happened?" Holly took her daughter's hand.

"I wanted to protect him, I didn't feel a whole lot of love growing up, didn't really love myself. I didn't want to give half when he was giving all." Jayne frowned.

"Did you love him?" Holly asked her.

"Very much that's why I let him go. It was hard." Jayne still felt so much guilt. "Even now I just don't want to hurt him."

Holly took her daughter's other hand. "My darling, you are getting in your own way."

Jayne was confused by Holly's words.

"Love is a gamble, I tried to give up your father last year to protect him and honestly it just wasted time." Holly told Jayne. "Stop getting in your own way."

There was a knock on the door.

"Think about it." Holly got up to go get the door. Seeing one of her favorite faces. "Grant." She gave him a hug.

Grant hugged her back. "It's good to see you too. Robert filled me in. You have no idea how grateful I am that you want to help us get these answers."

"Of course, I would do anything for you two." Holly said without hesitation.

"I know you would and so would Robert and I'm very grateful for that. It's good to know you two still have our back." Grant smiled.

"Not only us, Jayne and JJ Kelly are going to help too. And maybe even Annie and Ethan, we are going to get answers." Holly stated, she was determined.
