Jayne was sitting with JJ, Tiffany, Seana, and Annie the next morning at the table. She had made breakfast. Ethan had gone to go work on a case with Felicia. He was loving the work he was getting to do.
Tiffany beamed with pride as she looked at Jayne. "I'm really just so happy for you both! You are going to be such a beautiful bride!"
"Thank you." Jayne smiled at her, then looked over at JJ. "I know I'm getting a keeper."
"So is he." Annie chimed in.
Jayne looked at her friend. "I really appreciate that. I would appreciate something else, too."
"Anything." Annie told her as she helped Seana get her breakfast cut up.
"Would you be my maid of honor?" Jayne asked her. She had a few friends, but Annie and her had gotten close living together, and she also meant a lot to JJ.
Annie wasn't expecting it but thought it was very sweet of her to ask. She knew she had to do a lot of adjusting and was glad the two of them had found a friendship along the way. "I would love to."
Jayne was happy she agreed to it as she looked at Seana. "What about you? Want to be a flower girl again when JJ and I get married?"
Seana giggled and looked at JJ. "Cupcake!"
Annie laughed. "I think she would love it. She had so much fun at your parents' wedding."
"She was very adorable." Jayne loved her niece and how much she loved her "cupcake".
Robert and Holly came out of the room dressed for the day.
"Grandpa!" Seana got down and made a mad dash to Robert.
Robert scooped her up. "Oh my girl! Good morning." Robert gave her a squeeze.
Holly hugged her, too. "Hello darling."
"Hi, Grandma Holly." Seana grinned as Robert carried her back over to her seat and sat her down.
"She's fast." Robert took a seat next to her.
"Yes, she is. Good morning, you two." Annie replied. "We were just talking to Jayne and JJ about their news."
"Isn't it exciting!" Holly reached out for her daughters hand. "I'm so glad I got to help."
"I am too." Robert smiled. "We are going to give you a beautiful wedding, just like you deserve."
Jayne loved having Robert and Holly as her parents. The two really did go above and beyond. "Just having the two of you makes it all the better. I could have a small wedding and be very happy."
"Sometimes small weddings are perfect." Holly smiled as she looked over at Robert.
"My favorite wedding of all time was a small one, in sweaters. I did enjoy my most recent one, too." Robert kissed Holly's hand.
"I just want the people I love the most there, dad walking me down the aisle." Jayne loved the thought of him walking her down. She loved thinking of all those moments she never thought would be for her.
"I can't wait to do it. I walked your sister down. I'm a pro." Robert grinned.
"He's modest, too." Holly had so much love in her eyes.
"Well, I think we can all agree that this is going to be another gorgeous wedding!" Tiffany chimed in.
The Scorpio/Donely/Kelly family did a little more planning as they ate their breakfast.
