Flashback to Australia

Robin was there for her first visit with Filomena accompanying her. Robert and Holly were absolutely loving spending time with her and she had really taken to Holly. Holly was trying to stay firm with her. When Robin asked for cookies before dinner Holly was sure to tell her no. She told her after dinner since it wasn't so far away. Holly was trying to perfect Ruby's chili. Ruby had actually sent her the recipe, too. She went to go check on Robin and saw her sitting at the coffee table with cookies and milk.

"Robin I thought I told you not until after dinner." Holly told her as she walked over, more than a little annoyed.

"I thought it would be alright." Filomena spoke up.

Just then Robert walked back inside. He was sweaty from the work he had just done but could not be happier having his two favorite girls together finally. He could sense something was going on. "Is everything alright?"

Holly was visibly upset, Robert and her were supposed to be spending time with Robin and Filomena was overstepping.

"Yes, Roberto." Filomena spoke up. Holly went back to the kitchen.

Robin shook her head as she looked at Robert. "Daddy, Holly told me I couldn't have any cookies and I think I upset her."

"How did you get them?" Robert asked her, knowing full well that Filomena had something to do with it.

"I didn't think it would be a big deal." Filomena spoke up.

"Robin, can you go to your room and color Holly a nice picture? Let her know you are sorry for not listening?" Robert asked his daughter.

Robin looked up at him and nodded. "Okay, daddy!" She got up and hurried to her room.

Robert made sure she was in the other room before he spoke. "How dare you undermine my wife in our own home."

"Roberto, she doesn't even know Robin. Robin will still eat dinner." Filomena told him.

"That's not the point, when Robin is here Holly and I are her parents. We are in charge, you are basically a guest and I demand you respect my wife otherwise I will tell Anna to only send Robin next time." Robert spoke quietly but in a firm tone.

Filomena nodded. "I overstepped. I'm sorry."

Robert got up. "Tell that to my wife. I'm going to go talk to her first."

Holly was stirring the chili. What was it going to be like when she came to visit and Robert and Holly had a child of their own?

Robert walked up. "I had a talk with Filomena."

Holly looked up at him. "You didn't have to."

"Oh yes I did, no one is going to disrespect my wife in our home. A home we plan on adding more children to here soon. She knows not to overstep again." Robert told her as he took her hand.

Holly smiled returned as she looked at her loving husband. "I love you."

"I love you too. We are a team, we are two of Robin's parents. You know no one is going to disrespect you on my watch." Robert wrapped his arms around Holly.

"And we were actually a team, a wonderful team. Filomena knew she needed to respect me after that and we had so much fun with Robin. We were both excited about giving her a little brother or sister too and then the WSB called." Holly frowned as she remembered how her heart felt like it was dropping when he told her he was going to do some work for them.

Robert had just agreed to do some work for the WSB, he thought Holly was okay with it but her mood seemed to be very down. "Holly, are you sure you are okay with me doing this?"

Holly wasn't. She wanted to be but she wanted him with her. "I want you to be happy, I just wish you were happy here." She admitted.

Robert felt like an ass. "There is nothing in this world that makes me happier than you. I feel like we've been living out a honeymoon here most of the time."

"Too much of a good thing?" Holly retorted, she was very happy with this life they were building here.

"You know that's not the case. I'll only do this one. If you don't like it I will stop. Nothing matters more to me than you and Robin." Robert wrapped his arms around her and kissed her head.

"I know that." Holly told him.

"Were you honest about how you felt when he came back?" Kevin asked Holly.

Holly shook her head no. "No, no. Well not completely. I married a man that liked adventure..I liked adventure. I should have been more honest with him but when he was at home we were so happy usually. I just wanted to stay in those moments."
