Brooke changed into a red and black dress after changing out of her wet clothes, feeling uneasy. Unsure about going to Haley and Nathan's place after the attack, she also questioned if Lucas had shared information about her and Peyton.

Contemplating texting Skills to come over for support due to his knowledge of her attack, Brooke felt the need for someone to manage Lucas.

The dynamics between Nathan, Lucas, and Haley made her unsure of their loyalties. Interrupted by a knock, Peyton appeared at the door and softly asked, "Are you ready to go?" Brooke sighed and nodded in response.

Brooke declared her readiness as she meticulously styled her hair into waves. She observed Peyton, who had opted for blue jeans, a tank top, and still maintained her usual curly hair. Despite noticing the difference, Brooke couldn't suppress a giggle, which prompted a puzzled look from Peyton. "What has tickled your fancy?" inquired Peyton, intrigued by Brooke's laughter.

"Oh, nothing, I simply expected your hair to be more curly when wet," responded Brooke with a smile as she collected her purse and clasped Peyton's hand, leading them both to her BMW.

With Brooke seated and buckled up in the passenger seat, Peyton assumed the role of the driver on their way to the Scotts' residence.

This visit was a relief for Brooke, as the only judgment-free individual there was her godson Jamie, who likely only cared about his parents' presence. "Are you alright?" Peyton checked in as she navigated towards their friends' house.

As Brooke tapped away on her phone, she messaged Skills to arrange a meeting at Haley and Nathan's place, and he agreed to join them for support.

Brooke affirmed and placed her phone in her lap. 'I feel apprehensive about informing Nathan and Haley about what happened and disclosing our relationship,' she murmured.

The only person besides Lucas who was aware of their relationship was Skills, as he called to check on Brooke after their date and overheard their laughter.

Skills had no issue after they explained everything, except for Lucas nearly attacking Brooke. Peyton drove them to Haley and Nathan's house, which was not a far distance. When Peyton parked, she noticed Brooke staring off into space.

'Brooke?' she spoke softly, placing her hand on top of Brooke's, who flinched. Brooke gazed at Peyton and nervously smiled.

'What if they perceive me differently? Especially after the attack and then us,' she whispered, resting her head on the blonde's shoulder.

In a reassuring tone, Peyton whispered, 'Everything will be alright, babe' as she helped Brooke out of the car, and together they walked up to Haley and Nathan's front door. 'Aunt Brooke, Aunt Peyton are here!' Jamie exclaimed excitedly.

Haley opened the door and greeted them, saying, 'It's good to see you two.' Her eyes fell on Brooke's bruised face, which was already beginning to fade but still noticeable.

'Brooke, what happened?' Haley asked with concern as she examined her friend's face.

'If you let us in, I'll tell you everything that happened,' Brooke replied. Haley allowed them entry and went to get drinks while Brooke and Peyton sat on the couch, with Jamie joining them.

'Aunt Brooke, what happened to your face?' the little boy asked, looking worried about his godmother's injury.

"Jamie, refrain from asking them numerous questions as they have just arrived," Nathan stated as he entered from the backyard along with Lucas and Skills, causing Brooke to tense up upon seeing Lucas, especially when he gave her a glare.

Brooke shook her head, avoiding looking at Lucas, and shifted her focus to Jamie, who tugged at her hand.

"Aunt Brooke, would you like to come and help me to feed Chester?" he asked cheerfully. Brooke smiled and crouched down to Jamie's level, trying to conceal her discomfort.

"Perhaps later, bud," Brooke assured him, planting a kiss on his head. Jamie frowned, puzzled by Brooke's refusal to help feed his pet bunny. Before Jamie could ask again, Haley intervened, stating, "It's good for you guys to be here," with a smile.

Brooke nodded as she rose from her seat. 'Why don't we go feed Chester, Jamie?' Haley's sister Evie asked gently, 'But I want to stay and talk to Aunt Brooke!' the five-year-old voiced with a pout.

'And you will, buddy. Let your mother and father talk with her about adult matters, and she'll be able to spend time with you afterwards,' Evie explained.

'That's right, sport. I don't think you want to listen to us adults discuss boring topics now, do you?' Brooke asked with a smile.

'How about this, after this, I take you out for ice cream? Aunt Peyton's treat,' she proposed. Jamie's eyes lit up, 'Really?' he inquired, and Brooke smiled, disregarding the looks she was receiving from Haley and Peyton.

'Of course, buddy,' she agreed, extending her pinky. 'Pinky promise.'

'Okay, I'll hold you to that pinky promise,' Jamie chirped and followed Evie up to his room. Brooke turned back to the others and grinned when Peyton playfully glared at her. 'So, what do you wish to discuss with us, Haley?' Brooke inquired, settling down on the couch beside Peyton.

( Evie James is the youngest Twin to Haley My OC and I've changed the book name to a better one I hope you like it.)
