Chapter 7: He's still alive
Obi-Wan and Anakin lead the twins out of the building but had to keep low. They pulled their hoods back up.
And keeping the children close Anakin held Luke's hand as Obi-Wan held Leia's but many questions were in their hands.
Mainly Leia.
"So you trained my father?" Leia asked.
"Not now." Obi-Wan said.
"Can you make things float like he can?" Leia said.
"Keep moving." Obi-Wan said.
"It was nice of Uncle Obi-Wan to help you save us Dad." Luke said.
Obi-Wan heard that and turned to Anakin, smirking at him under his beard…
"You made me their uncle?" Obi-Wan asked.
"You always said we were brothers." Anakin said.
"I know I just didn't think-have you signaled Padme yet?" Obi-Wan asked.
"Yeah. We're gonna meet her at some transportation facility. Shouldn't be far." Anakin said.
Maybe not but danger wasn't far either.
The Fifth Brother and the Senate's squad of Storm troopers were even hot on their trail…
During the argument between him and the Third Sister.
The two brothers and the young twins make their way to get to the facility to meet Padme but not before they run into trouble some criminals and other bounty hunters start chasing and shooting at them.
Anakin and Obi-Wan defend the twins and fight them off with blasters but Anakin force choke some given he was protecting his children…
But soon the Third Sister was approaching fast to them, sensing Anakin's power.
The four kept running with many chasing them. They had to hide in an alleyway and Anakin and Obi-Wan looked back at his children…
"You two okay?" Anakin asked.
"I want to go home…" Leia said.
"Me too." Luke said.
"I know kids like me too. And we will be soon I promise. We just have to get to that Transportation Facility." Anakin said.
"It won't be easy. Almost everyone in the city is looking for us for the bounty. Every section will be on alert. Pretty soon the Senate will send reinforcements." Obi-Wan said.
"Maybe I can help." A voice came.
The gang turned to look where that voice came from…
It was Haja.
Anakin grew mad still remembering when he took that family's money and was about to force choke him again.
"Wait! Wait a minute! I only want to help you." Haja said.
"Why should we accept your help?!" Anakin called.
"I did bad things. I know that. And do I feel bad about it? Sometimes. But I really want to help." Haja said.
Obi-Wan lowered Anakin's arm and agreed to hear him.
"If you can help us get to the transportation facility that would help us a lot." Obi-Wan said.
"I…don't know how you're gonna get there without attracting those troops. But…I do know a shortcut. Pass by the East in half a mile then make a left you should be there if you stay out of sight." Haja said.
"We won't forget this." Obi-Wan said.
"There they are!" A voice came.
They go around to see Storm troopers aiming their blasters at them.
"MOVE!" Anakin called.
They fire which forced the group to separate Anakin and Luke ran to the back of the alleyway and Obi-Wan and Leia ran in a building ending up at a roof where we get the rooftop chase from the original timeline.
Only difference Leia wasn't running from Obi-Wan, they were running from the shooters.
"Keep running!" Obi-Wan yells.
As the blasts kept firing and Leia barely avoided being hit but she trips and falls off the roof screaming.
"LEIA!" Obi-Wan yelled.
Obi-Wan was forced to use the force to save her…
Back with Anakin and Luke he kept his son covered by deflecting their blasts with his lightsaber.
"DAD!" Luke called.
"STAY BEHIND ME!" Anakin called.
They kept firing but Anakin kept deflecting them and force pushed them back and killed three of them.
However more troopers came from another side and pointed their blasters at Luke…
Which scared the boy so much he screamed, getting his father's attention and when Anakin saw them about to shoot his son without warning…
Anakin's eyes change yellow for the first time in years.
The way they were gonna shoot his son made Anakin snap and fueled by the dark side Anakin straight up SLAUGHTERED the Storm troopers.
And Luke saw it with his own eyes which shocked him to death. He never saw his father this way and he froze…
Anakin finished the last one but more kept coming which Anakin soon snapped back to his senses when turning to Luke.
"RUN LUKE!" Anakin called.
Luke was still frozen in shock and the troopers were coming at them fast.
Anakin grabbed Luke carrying him while running and deflecting their blasts.
A minute later the father and son manage to give them a slip and Anakin was out of breath when he put Luke down.
"Your eyes…they were yellow…how did you…?" Luke asked.
"Why didn't you run like I told you?" Anakin asked.
"I-I don't know I…" Luke said.
"You could have been killed! I never would've imagined-When I tell you to run you run! NEVER freeze like that! EVER!" Anakin said.
Luke now was suddenly scared the way his father scolded him like that.
"I'm…I'm sorry…" Luke said.
Anakin suddenly felt guilty he get Luke was in shock but he only scolded him like any parent would cause he didn't want to lose him.
"I'm sorry too. Just…do as I say from now on alright?" Anakin asked.
Luke nods and Anakin hugged his son.
"Come on, we need to find your sister and Obi-Wan." Anakin said.
Where they were they made it to the transportation facility.
"Looks like your family isn't here yet. We'll have to keep low and wait." Obi-Wan said.
"Uncle Obi-Wan? My dad always talks about you. That you were his teacher and brother. How exactly did you meet him?" Leia asked.
"He was…just a year younger than you when I first met him. In fact where I live now was where I met him. My mentor and I were on a mission to escort your mother to the Senate. When I first knew your father was already a great pilot for his young age but I was amazed how strong he was with the force. I made a promise to my mentor that I will train him as a Jedi since then we have been brothers." Obi-Wan explained.
"What happened to your mentor?" Leia asked.
"He…died. A long time ago." Obi-Wan said sadly.
"I'm sorry." Leia asked sadly.
"Thank you." Obi-Wan said.
They would have continued to talk Obi-Wan sensed someone coming…
"QUICK! HIDE IN THE TRANSPORTATION!" Obi-Wan called.
Leia ran to the transporter and hid while Obi-Wan hid behind the crates with his lightsaber in his hand and entered the Third Sister with her own lightsaber ignited.
She roamed around looking for him…
"I know you're here Kenobi. I can sense your fear of dying. But I'm not gonna kill you. I'm just gonna take you…to Lord Maul." Third Sister said.
The former Jedi Master knew that name…and it made him freeze like Luke did earlier…
The Third Sister felt his anxiety.
"You didn't know? How else do you think the Senate assembled us? He's still alive, Obi-Wan…Darth Maul…is STILL…alive. And he's been looking for you for years. And I…will…deliver you…to HIM!" Third Sister explained.
The Third Sister nearly found him till the Grand Inquisitor walks in yelling at her and while they were distracted Obi-Wan ran to meet up with Leia in the transporter.
Just after the Third Sister stabs the Grand Inquisitor she saw it took off and yelled.
"WE'LL FIND YOU OBI-WAN!" Third Sister yelled.
As it flew on Obi-Wan was still in shock when the Third Sister told him the Sith that killed his master on Naboo was alive and still seeking revenge since the Clone Wars…
"Uncle Obi-Wan?" Leia asked.
"...Maul…" Obi-Wan said shocked.
A pair of dark yellow on eyes…
