Lloyd-A world traveler who settles down in Zephyr Town.
Sherry-A helpful woman who is the daughter of the mayor.
One fall day, a new man arrived at Zephyr Town and was carrying a bag on his back.
He was in mostly black, but also blue and brown and red. He had a wrap on his head, black hair and red eyes.
Then Mayor Felix saw him. He went over to help him with his bag.
"Who are you and what are you carrying?" asked the mayor.
"My name is, "Lloyd'" said the man. "You don't have to help. It's only ores. And I don't need help. I'm a world traveler, and I went here to finally settle down."
"Okay," said Felix, thinking about not helping. "Oh! You're here to live in the house near the waterfall, right?" Felix asked.
Lloyd smiled. "Indeed."
They walked over to the new house and went in.
There were bookshelves all around. There were more ores on the table.
"As you may see, we've already delivered most of your things. Now. About your travels. How are the other people you've seen?" asked Felix. "The mayors, for instance?"
"Well, there was one mayor in particular." Lloyd said. "He was very kind. He offered to carry my things. And he said that wished to hear of my travels. He was often in green, red, black and white. He had red boots and a green and black top hat."
Felix furrowed his brow. "He sounds familiar."
Then a lady walked in.
"Hello!" said she. "I'm Sherry!"
Sherry was about to wave hi when Llyod put his own hands behind him.
"This is my daughter!" said Felix. "She's a bit friendly."
Lloyd then waved.
Then Sherry noticed something.
"What's in the bag?" she asked.
"Ores," said Lloyd. "I found them on my travels."
"May I help you organize them?" Sherry grinned.
"Um. I'd rather not," Lloyd said, holding up his hands. "And how are you aware of such things?"
"Uh. I don't. I was trying to help," said Sherry.
"Let's leave, Sherry," said Felix. "Lloyd needs to get ready for the bazaar tomorrow,"
And so, the mayor and his daughter left Lloyd alone.
For now.

The next day, Lloyd was at his own stall at the bazaar. It seemed people were more interested in the stalls of others.
Then Sherry walked up to him.
"Slow day, huh, Lloyd?" she asked.
"I'm not sure how to get more customers!" Lloyd said.
"May I help?" she offered, like yesterday.
Lloyd blinked. "That failed before."
"Let's share a stall!" said Sherry.
"But-" Lloyd was interrupted.
"Everyone!" Sherry yelled. "Buy an ore, get a tree seed free!"
Lloyd was surprised! "But if you do that, you'll not get any money, yourself!"
Sherry smiled. "It's more important to help my friend!"
"We're friends?" Lloyd asked.
"Yeah!" said Sherry.
Lloyd also smiled. "Cool."

A week later, Llyod decided to visit Felix and Sherry. He knocked on the door and heard a, "Hello!" from Sherry. Then he entered.
There were a table and chairs, a fireplace, bookshelves and a record player.
"Nice to see you, Lloyd!" Sherry said.
"You're not asking why I'm hear?" Lloyd asked.
"No, because any time you're here is good! You don't need a reason!" Sherry said.
"Well. There is a reason," said Lloyd.
"Yes?" Sherry asked, pleading a bit.
"You helped me," said Lloyd. "Whether I needed it or not. I'm here to return the favor."
"That's okay!" said Sherry. "I don't accomplish favors in return."
"I insist!" said Lloyd.
"Hmm," said Sherry, somewhat to herself. "Know how to fix things?"
"Yes," said Lloyd. "I learned much from my travels."
Sherry pointed to something in the corner. "May you please fix that record player?"
Lloyd blinked. "Easy!"
Soon, the record player was fixed. And music started playing.
"It's opera music!" Sherry said. "Want to dance?"
"I, uh-"
Lloyd was lifted off his feet!
The two dancers were close together. They both listened to the music while they danced. Sherry, even though she didn't understand the music, enjoyed it all the same. Lloyd was able to understand the foreign language due to his travels.
The two danced until they were tired and Sherry turned off the music. They sat on the chairs and talked.
"Now, Lloyd," Sherry asked. "Have you ever met somebody special? A girlfriend, perhaps?"
Lloyd knew this was happening.
"Yes," he said. "There is somebody."
Sherry grinned.
"She's helpful, for starters," said Lloyd. "She tried to help me carry my things. There was a bazaar, too, and she helped me, than. I was able to help her in return. We even danced together. She's kind and generous. I may even fall for her."
Sherry frowned. "But-"
"And she's beautiful, too!" said Lloyd. "She often wears a yellow, white, green and blue dress with a blue hat and flowing red hair and red eyes!"
Then Lloyd noticed from the window it was getting late. "I have to go home, now. Mind if I return tomorrow?"
Sherry looked away so he wouldn't notice her frown. "Okay."
And so, Lloyd went away for another day.
Leaving Sherry behind.

The next day, Lloyd went to Felix and Sherry's house.
No one answered.
Lloyd kept walking until he found Sherry by the river.
"Hey. I don't see you here often!" Lloyd said.
"I guess I needed to wonder something," said Sherry.
"What?" asked Lloyd, concerned.
"Well. I'm not ugly, but I'm not pretty, either. So. I was wondering why you're choosing your dream girl instead of me," said Sherry in lament.
Lloyd grinned! "But you ARE beautiful!"
"I am?!" Sherry asked in confusion.
"And my dream girl is you!" Lloyd said.
"But-" Sherry was interrupted.
"I only said those things because if you thought it was you, you'd reject me," said Lloyd. "I'm shy, so I said them in secret. You are the beautiful one. The helpful one. The one I want."
Then Felix appeared out of nowhere.
"There you are, Sherry!" he said. "I was wondering where you went."
Felix walked over to him. "I want your daughter's hand in marriage."
Both Felix and Sherry were stunned!
"Really?!" asked Sherry.
"But I thought that Lloyd liked another woman!" said Felix. "Sherry told me!"
Both Lloyd and Sherry looked at each other. Then stifled laughter.
"Huh?" asked Felix. "What did I miss?"
So, soon, Lloyd and Sherry were married.
And, yes, they told everything to Felix.
