The sun was brite as it shinned into the room Tess and Riley were sleeping in. Riley was still asleep, he had asked her if she wanted to be a couple with him, she said yes. Riley woke up soon after she did. They were going to visited NYC today, they had to park and then take the ferry, and also the subway.
After breakfast, they drove to the ferry. The ferry had many cars already there, the ferry gate had closed on the line of cars that were behind them. A few men were talking about a deal that would be made in NYC. Apparently a man named max was meeting them to go over Kavar's deal. The men said Kavar wanted max to keep his name but that he would need a energy source to complete his plan. Tess saw that Riley overheard them also, Tess asked if this could be the Max they met at Roswell. Riley said he would text Max and ask him.
After getting off the ferry, they took the subway to the statue of liberty, it was high and the windows met the top of the statues hat at the top. After that they decided to do some shopping, NYC had some good brand name items and it would be nice to buy them from the industry itself. The Gucci purses that Tess and Kate saw were purple, and looked like they were spray painted. The purse also had a signature on the label. The purses must have been made with a print that was leaked to the store. They were $20 and Tess decided to buy one. She also had a Gucci purse that cost $1200 at home, Nasado got it for her birthday one year. The next shop they stopped at had a Prada dress that also was $20, the Same thing was noticed the print that was followed was great but the ink wasn't at the same level. Tess decided to buy that too. if she sprayed perfume on the dress with the ink being partially wet, you would never tell it wasn't a Prada dress.
There were a few bands that were playing across town. They met up with Riley, he decided to stay out of the shopping trip with her and Kate. Riley and his parents had hung out at the cafe on the same block. They started walking to get on the subway, it was three floors down. The ticket counter was counting so fast that by time Tess's ticket went through the last count wan't finished. She had a mark on her ticket from both her number and the lady that went through before her. The subway ride was quick and then they were at their destination. The band was playing already when they got off they subway. They followed the post that led to the concert. When they made it to the stage, Tess saw that there were 4 different stages, they decided to sit in the second stage, Riley said that band was rumored to be on the way to the top.
They saw the same Men talking, and this time with another man. The other man looked at her, then came over. When he reached, he asked if she remembered him, she shook her head no. Riley interrupted and asked if he was on a business trip there, the man replied, not yet. Then he looked at Tess again and said that the last time he saw her was when Nasado prepared the ship with her on it. Riley then put in that this was Kavar and that he was the appointed government after Tess left the planet. Tess said it was nice to meet him, and then Kavar suddenly had to get to a meeting.
They took the same routine on the way home, the subway, ferry, then the car ride back. Later that night while getting ready for bed, Tess asked Riley if he ever wanted to return to their planet. Riley replied sure if he had a chance too. Tess cuddled into Riley as she fell asleep, the stars were shinning through the window, this time from the other side of the country.
