-Chapter 12: Statements-

In the warehouse of the Hosu Police Force Headquarters, Goku found himself on a large concrete floor, totally naked. However, thankfully, the people at the station were kind enough to provide Goku with a pair of underwear, grey sweatpants, and a Police Force t-shirt, which he soon slipped on to be decent.

"Ow, man..." Goku rubbed his feet, they still felt kinda warm. His soles were blackened and still slighty sticky. "I never felt so stiff in my life..."
"Good morning, Son Goku. It's good to see you have woken up," the PA system went off, causing Goku to be startled and stand up. "Don't worry, you're not in trouble for anything. We just want answers. However, you must be starving, so head to the cafeteria. Go through the door, to your right, the end of the hallway, and to the right is our mess hall. Get yourself well fed, alright?"

"Mmm... I am pretty hungry..." The Saiyan mused to himself, as his tail wraps around and he slips on some sandals nearby.

And soon, he found himself in the mess hall, where there's still a lot of food at the ready. After grabbing his food and starting to scarf it down, a man in a tan trenchcoat sits down next to him.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Son Goku. I hope you're enjoying yourself here," The man said with a gentle smile.
"Mmm, this stuff is delicious...!" Goku said between his munches. "Who are you, by the way?"
"I am Detective Tsukauchi, one of the Police Force's detectives, though you're to just call me "True Man" if anyone asks. If you won't mind humoring me with a few questions, why is it do you eat so much?" Tsukauchi asked.

"Oh, this. Well, I have to eat a lot because I burn a lot of energy with my Quirk. Not just for my physical power, but for my energy manipulation powers!" Goku said, relaxed as he is. The way that Goku answered the question, and the way he looked... It was absolutely the truth, without a doubt to the Detective.

"That makes sense. So that was why you chose to intern with the Ryukyu Agency?" He asked a more specific question.
"Absolutely! She and Nejire are so cool, and they've really helped me train so that I can be more efficient with my energy manipulation!" The Saiyan said without hesitation. This, as well, was the truth. Naomasa's gentle smile continued.

"I don't have any doubts about it. Before I have to go elsewhere, I have one final question if you won't mind me. Are there any other stipulations with your Quirk we'll need to worry about?" This question stopped Goku right in his tracks.

"If you're talking about my Great Ape form, unfortunately, that's the biggest one. It only happens during the Full Moon, but when I transform, I can easily lose my sense of self, and I'm just afraid I'd accidentally kill people if I do transform. I slipped up yesterday because I hadn't worried about it for so long since we usually are at home before night." Goku's message was morose and filled with fear. Yet, going through the entire statement, that was also the truth. Detective Tsukauchi simply pats Goku's shoulder with a small, reassuring smile.

"That's the biggest one I needed to know. Your alibi is as water tight as the pipes in this building. I have no doubt you're as you say you are, Son Goku." Soon, the detective chuckles to himself. "You're shaping up to quite like All Might, so keep up the good work. Meet up with me at 9 o'clock, second floor, second room to the left from the right wing staircase. We'll just get your statements, then we'll let you be on your way."
"Okay, Detective," Goku nods in appreciation, before he starts to slurp more and more of his breakfast. "Aren't you hungry?"
"Haha... Don't worry about me, kid, a cup of coffee and a couple pancakes can keep me running," Naomasa left for the room.

And soon, Goku found himself going to the room that he was told to go to. And there, he found himself not only with the Detective and Police Chief, whose name tag said was Kenji Tsuragamae, but the other four Pros that were in contact with his Great Ape Form.

"Good morning, Son Goku. I had trust that you've slept well?" Chief Tsuragamae spoke first.
"It was kinda stiff, but I'm doing well enough!" He said a bit peppy, though he settled a bit down as the Chief offers them a seat.

"So, Ms. Tatsuma, am I to believe that you had given Son Goku permission to use his Quirk?" The Chief started with a grill against his mentor directly.

"That is true. Son Goku was being attacked by a pale yellow winged Nomu, and I had given him permission to use his Quirk to defend himself, and to hold his guard," Ryuko said, with the Detective giving the Chief a thumbs-up.
"That at least takes care of Ryuko Tatsuma's alibi with relation to this Ape case, and clears any charges of allowing a student to use their Quirk illegally. Though I need to know of the context of the other three Heroes who witnessed this event." Soon, the dog-faced Chief looks at Torino. "For you, Mr. Torino. What was your initial encounter with the Great Ape?"

"I had honestly thought that Ms. Tatsuma was in danger of being crushed by Son's transformation, which I had thought was one of the Nomu at the time. So I had only responded to save her. Apparently, my kicks were nothing more than tickles to the giant guy, since he just grabbed me like I was a rice cake!" Torino's response got a thumbs up.
"Thank you, Mr. Torino. That clears your alibi for the Ape case, but there's still the concern of your particular intern fighting Stain. We'll get to that once we get through the other statements. Speaking of such, Mr. Musha," He turns to face the aged Samurai. "You were defending the Ape from Mr. Todoroki's approach. Why was that?"

"I could not allow him to kill Son Goku, even if he assumed the form of the Great Ape. While the creature seemed feral akin to the Nomu that attacked Hosu, he was able to recognize us in spite of his different form. He was only feral because he was attacked when Endeavor destroyed the Winged Nomu's corpse," The aged Hero responded, with the Detective continuing his thumbs up.
"That will be all for you, Mr. Musha. Your insight was astonishing, though this wasn't your first encounter with the creature, wasn't it?"
"No, there were two other times I saw the Great Ape: One time, seven years ago in the now known flattened forest near Mt. Fuji, and a couple years ago in the forests near Musutafu. I had not interfered in the second time, as Mochi-Mochi, or Son Gohan, was helping Son Goku control that form," Yoroi bowed his head. After a few moments, the Detective gives a thumbs up.

"Good, good. Now, for Enji Todoroki," He then turns to the flaming, bearded man. "Mr. Todoroki, where were you at when you've first saw the Great Ape?"
"I was fighting against a couple Nomu, but my primary target was the Hero Killer. And before you ask, I had given my son permission to fight these Nomu if they got too close to him," Endeavor remarked. This was indeed the truth.
"As for the Hero Killer...?"
"Regrettably, I had not given him express permission to fight the Hero Killer. I had lost track of the Winged Nomu, and was approaching the Normal Agency when I suddenly saw the Ape. I immediately gone after it, but Shoto turned his back and went into the alleyways." The Detective nods apprehensively.
"So, you saw a giant ape off in the distance, and to a normal person, you went over to confront it. However, had you known it was Son Goku, would you still have attacked to kill the Ape?" Tsuragamae asked.
"Wha-?! Of course I wouldn't!" Enji pleaded. This time, the Detective glared at the Hellfire Hero.

"You would have, Endeavor. Because in your mind, Son Goku and the Great Ape were two different beings. You had acted rash in a delicate situation and it was thanks to Ryukyu and Yoroi that it hadn't resulted in the death of a kid," Tsukauchi slammed his hands down on the desk.

"Settle down, Detective Tsukauchi. I'll handle it from here," The Chief stood up, looking at Enji grimly. "Enji Todoroki, you must realize the grimness of your actions. You cannot hope to be All Might because he had always brought the delicate balance of being a Hero and being a human to the forefront of his operations, even if you had solved more cases than he had. If not for the compassion Ms. Tatsuma and Mr. Musha had displayed, it would have been a murder of a Hero Student, and your imprisonment in Tartarus would have been assured. However, if Son Goku is willing to forgive you, I am more than willing to turn a blind eye to this action." The scowl on Endeavor's face simply deepened. He did truly thought that he was doing the world a service by attacking the Ape. However, that negative thought was suddenly stopped when the boy talked.

"I am willing to forgive Endeavor," Goku said, blunt as usual. "Because when I first turned into the Great Ape, I almost killed my mom and dad, and I did try to attack Yoroi when he was trying to save me by cutting off my tail." The adults in the room were shocked, aside from Musha nodding, looking grim and Enji looking a little vindicated. "If Endeavor had learned about it much earlier and have seen me transforming, then I think he would have restrained himself from attacking me. Would you?" As the disgraced Todoroki looked right into Goku's eyes, he feels like he's so much smaller compared to this fifteen year old teen and feeling himself buckle under this pressure. With a sigh, Endeavor reestablishes his stare at Goku.

"Yes. That would have helped more than having that old man defend you, had I seen you transform," Enji admitted. While still not very happy with this firestarter, he did see truth in the No. 2 Hero's words as Tsukauchi cleared to Tsuragamae.

"I'm glad that cleared everything up. Now, Son, please be more careful and try to not look at the full moon again. We were lucky that you had transformed in an evacuated zone and not in the middle of a busy street. However, as Ms. Tatsuma had stated, you were allowed to use your Quirk, so you are not in trouble for that part whatsoever. You, Ms. Tatsuma, and Mr. Musha may leave, and no penalties shall be incurred against any of you. I still have some discrepancies I wish to clear up with Mr. Torino and Mr. Todoroki involving the Hero Killer, in addition to Mr. Mizushima and his intern's initial encounter with the Villain. Have a good day, and thank you for your services." Chief Tsuragamae dismissed the three, leaving a pale Torino and an annoyed Enji behind.

"Is there any way I can thank you for what you've done last night, Yoroi?" Ryuko asked, though he simply shook his head with a light smile.
"You don't need to do anything in return, Ms. Ryukyu. However, I should return to Hosu General Hospital soon. Son, do be sure to come over and visit your classmates before you leave for Kyoto. Knowing the Chief, he will grill them like a fine Kobe steak," Yoroi spoke.
"Oh, of course!" Goku said, having remembered at least Izuku and Shoto being there. With a wry smile, the Samurai Hero leaves the station. Leaving just Ryukyu and Goku alone.

"I'm sorry about everything last night, Ryukyu," the Saiyan spoke up, though she can't bring herself to be angry at her intern.
"Don't worry about it too much, Goku. I'm just glad you're still alive." She said, as the two leave, with Nejire waiting outside.

"Goku! Ryukyu-chan!" Nejire excitedly spoke out. "How did it go?"
"Better than I would have thought. Thankfully, because Goku transformed in an evacuated part of Hosu, there were no endangered citizens and he was surprisingly able to limit his collateral damage. Though I'll admit, it was satisfying to see Endeavor knocked down a peg." She can't help but smile as she says this.
"Before we head back, can we stop by the hospital?" Goku asked, clearly influenced by Yoroi's comment.
"That shouldn't be a problem. Though the Chief will want to go there first. He's usually pretty quick about it once he gets the full story, so we should visit around 1 PM," Ryukyu said.
"I wonder how your classmates are holding up! They seemed to have been holding their own against him," Nejire added on. "Though I heard through your earpiece that apparently an Iida was there...?"
"Unfortunately, it seemed that the boy was driven by vengeance. While I hope he isn't severely punished for his actions, it's serious enough that UA might have to take action against him since his actions were considered vigilantism."
"That... really sucks. But, I can't exactly fault Tenya. My dad was injured by Stain, and if I had known that he was in Hosu, I wouldn't know what I would have done..." Goku remarks to himself.

Around 12:30 PM, the Ryukyu Group went to Hosu General Hospital. There, they saw two UA Teachers. Specifically, Shota Aizawa, and Principal Nezu.

"Son. I suppose you're here to see your classmates?" Aizawa asked.
"Yeah, I am. Though what brings you two here?" Goku answered with another question.
"I'm here to squash a problem I should have seen a week ago," The 1A teacher replied, a bit bittered at himself for allowing Tenya to go to Hosu in the first place.
"Sadly, Son Goku, we are here to make a... rather tough decision. But it's for his safety above all else," Nezu was cryptic, but a frowning Ryukyu can understand.
"Of course." was the only thing that she said, before the two were cleared for entry.
"As for you, we want to talk to you about that 'ape' thing. But that'll be for when you get back to UA. Keep going with your internship," the teacher said, though he isn't angry at Goku, more just exhausted about the double whammy of vigilantism and a giant gorilla.

After a while longer, the two exit the room containing the 1A students and entered the lobby area once again.

"We'll see you back at UA when you're done with your internship, Son Goku. I hope you've learned a lot under the Ryukyu agency," Nezu said with a small smile, though his eyes do betray a heavy heart.
"Of course, Principal Nezu. I'll see you and Aizawa-sensei later!" Goku answered with a nod. His teacher grunted in acknowledgement before the two left the hospital.
"Alright. Mr. Son, Ms. Tatsuma, and Ms. Hado, you are cleared for entry. Room number is 187. It is the second floor, near the end of the right wing. Keep your visitation to below thirty minutes if you can, they will need to nap soon," The desk attendant spoke aloud, the three stood up.

"Thank you. We will keep track of our time here," Ryukyu bowed in thanks to the attendant, as they followed their instructions. Inside the room, it felt absolutely depressing, even with the flowers and the sunlight giving life to an otherwise lifeless room. It was obvious as to why, however.

"Son-kun..." Tenya spoke out first, to the left of the room, as his spiky-haired friend approached. "Unfortunately, I will not be able to join you or anyone else for class anymore."
"Darn it... So you're expelled...?" Goku asked, though it was painful to his blue-haired friend.
"I am. However, Principal Nezu was merciful. He had proposed I take my classes in the General Education department. And if I am to pass a test and an essay on why what I have done was wrong, I might be able to join you once more," Tenya smiled, though still saddened.

"Though I felt like I would have done the same thing, as my father was injured by the Hero Kill-" Before Goku was able to finish, a glare met his eyes.
"Don't ever say that, Son-kun. I might not understand you as well as some of our classmates can, but I know for certain you aren't the vengeful type, at least as you are normally. You are truly my better half, and for as long as you, Todoroki-kun, and Midoriya-kun are in there, giving it your all, you will never be like me."
"I... I don't know what to say, Tenya. But... Thank you," Goku bowed to his friend.
"This won't be the last time you'll see me, Son-kun," Tenya brightened up considerably. "I may be a blackened spot and I have tarnished 1A's reputation, but I know you all will shine brightly."
Afterwards, Tenya starts to nap away his time, as the Saiyan approaches the bedridden Midoriya and Todoroki.

"Son-san," Shoto said. "From what I heard, my father got into some real trouble over trying to kill you while you were a giant ape."
"I'm so sorry about that, Shoto..." Goku replied, a little saddened.
"You have nothing to apologize for. He was the one that started it, and to be perfectly honest, he had it coming. Though why was it that I haven't heard about it until last night?"
"Well, aside from Izuku, Tenya, and Ochako, I've tried to keep that form a tight-lipped secret. However, I think since you've seen it, you now know that I can transform into the form during the Full Moon," Goku explained. Shoto nodded.
"Understandable. I will try to keep that as much of a secret as I can. Well, as much of a secret as you can get with a giant gorilla suddenly popping up in an evacuated city. If Bakugo-san learned about it, he won't let you live it down."

"What about you, Izuku? Did Aizawa and Nezu say anything to you two?" Goku asked his best friend.
"Principal Nezu is so unsettling when he's upset..." Izuku choked out. "Though Aizawa-sensei didn't expel us, he still wanted to impose onto use the severity of our actions."
"He gave us each a day of detention when we go back. We're supposed to just be his assistants for the day. Roughly on-par with what you got when you helped defeat that Nomu back at the USJ," Shoto spoke.
"Still... I'm saddened that Iida-san was moved to the General Education program..." the green-haired teen was saddened, this was when Ryukyu stepped forward.

"It's ultimately a necessary action, Midoriya. What your classmate had done went well and truly out of line for how Heroics are meant to be done. Attacking a villain not only without a license and without the explicit permission to use his Quirk to defend himself, but with a plan to kill him for what he had done? No matter how well-intentioned he may be and who he was facing, he still chose to mark the Hero Killer for death and intended to murder him. That's why we have the laws in place," Ryukyu lectured the green-haired teen.
"O-Of course, Ryukyu...!" He quickly spoke, though this annoyed the Icy-Hot student.
"I couldn't leave Iida-san or Native to die at the hands of that man, even if he had murderous intent. I do not regret having to fight to save them," Shoto said.
"And that seems to be why neither Nezu nor Eraserhead expelled you right on the spot and instead gave you two detention. It may be under the same crime, but you two were doing it to save the lives of a Pro Hero and your friend," The Dragon Heroine said. "However, don't make a habit out of breaking the law like that. Even if it may be for the greater good, you can get into some serious trouble. But, I know you two have what it takes to become great Heroes in your own ways, and I don't want to see you guys in Tartarus for breaking the law, alright?"

"Of course," Shoto said. He's annoyed about getting another lecture, though unlike the Chief, the Dragon Heroine was trying to at least understand why they did what they did.
"Yes, ma'am!" Izuku followed up.
"Unfortunately, Goku, Nejire-chan, and I have to leave soon. Though I'm glad I was able to talk with you two at least," Ryukyu approached the door.
"You two are something else, weren't you...? I hope to see you soon!" Nejire said as she inspected the two.
"R-Right! I hope to see you too, Nejire-chan!" Izuku responded, shocked to see one of the Big Three right there. While Shoto was confused about why his green-haired friend was responding the way he did, he is feeling something weird with the upperclass person. She seems to be much more than just an energetic girl. The two simply waved goodbye when they took their leave. Despite losing Tenya as a classmate, they are glad to have saved his life and are relieved that he'll get his chance to come back, even if Shoto isn't going to show it as obviously as Izuku is.

After the trio left the hospital, they soon encounter Gran Torino again, this time, waiting near a phone booth.

"What are still doing around here, Torino?" Ryukyu asked. "Do you have any Hero Work to do?"
"Well, that's kind of impossible, because my license got revoked for a whole month because Midoriya acted without my permission," Torino replied with a shrug. "No, I'm just waiting for the booth to open up so I can talk to someone incognito. Though while you're here, may I talk with Son for a minute or so?"
"Of course," the Dragon Heroine replied, as Goku steps forward. The two approach near an alleyway.

"I have no idea how you were able to figure out Midoriya's Quirk, Son, but you were able to train that whippersnapper to handle its power. Even if it's only a fraction of it, I got no one better to thank than you for that," Torino pats Goku's shin in thanks.
"Oh! You know, Izuku has the potential, he just needs to train more to reach it!" Goku replied.
"Hah, you're too good for your own good, Son! But you've done well here. Unfortunately, despite the Hero Killer being put behind bars, there's going to be a growing group of similar-minded Villains who are catalyzed by his capture, because of his message getting across to so many. Be on the look out when you go out from now on, alright?"
"I will, er... what was your name again?" Goku wondered. Torino suddenly looked less impressed.
"Gran Torino, you greenhorn," he replied. "Alright, I took enough of your time, you should be getting back to Ryukyu."

In the early afternoon, just as the trio were ready to board a functioning bullet train to return to Kyoto, there was an encounter with the mother and child, this time with her husband.

"Hey, before you leave Hosu, we wish to give you something for all that you've done for us," The mother said, as she hands a small drawing of a stick figure of Goku, scaring away some monsters. At the bottom, is a message that says "For the bestest Hero in all of Hosu!"
"You're a super duper Hero, Son-chan!" The child excitedly said.
"There's nothing I can ever give you in thanks for saving my wife and son from the attacks yesterday, Son," The husband said, bowing in thanks. Ryukyu can only express a small smile as Goku can't exactly find the best words to reply from all the joy he's feeling.
"Son Goku is indeed an extraordinary student," Ryukyu spoke in his stead. "Thank you for the kind words, he will not forget them. If you'll excuse us, we need to return to Kyoto."
"Ah, of course. Sorry for taking your time, Ryukyu. Goodbye for now, Heroes!" The mother and father waved goodbye as the trio leave, all the while the kid was happy, giggling as he ran circles around his parents.

Once the three found a seat, Ryukyu's smile only got warmer.
"You've gone above and beyond for a fifteen year old, Son Goku. No matter who says who, I feel like I've made the right decision to bring you along with us, and you will always be welcome to join us if you so desire."

My apologies for not having an entry last night, Aizawa-sensei. That night was absolutely exhausting, with the Hero Killer and the Nomu rampaging, and Goku's weird Great Ape transformation! I know you saw me yesterday, but after our hospital visitation, we got out to our station to return to Kyoto. Suddenly, this family came over and were absolutely adoring Goku! Even had a cute little piece of fanart drawn of him scaring away some monsters! It's like Goku's starting to become a mini Pro Hero already with the smallest of actions! -Nejire Hado

The Hosu Incident, as it's been called, had made a lot of waves to the interns across Japan.

During the Incident, at the Shopping District in Tokyo, not even a couple miles away from the Ward that was attacked, the Uwambi Group were busy maintaining a shelter for the Hosu residents who needed to flee eastbound from the danger zone.

"You are doing an amazing job with the task, my interns," Uwambi complimented the two. "Hopefully, with Endeavor and Ryukyu deployed, they will be able to stop the attack."
"Thank you for your kindness, Uwambi-sensei," Momo replied, as she starts to prepare some tea to help calm down the rattled Hosu peoples. Specifically, there's a singular man who is worried sick about his wife and kid, whom he lost in the panic.
"Who would be bold or idiotic enough to attack the Ward? With the amount of Pros that service the area, in addition to actually being a part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Area, such a plan must have been done to sow discord," Itsuka questioned, as she's getting some security blankets for other shelter people.
"Unfortunately, I don't know who, but we shouldn't go there until the Shelter Order has expired. We're all more useful here, tending to the scared," The Snake Heroine commented, her two interns nodded.

However, they soon heard a roar, a low rumble made its way through the area. Especially to the 1A student, it freaked her out a bit more because it sounded... uncannily familiar.

"What in the... Kendo-san, did you hear that?" Momo asked.
"I did. It sounds closer than I would have expected." Itsuka replied.
"If it's related to the current attack, there's not much we can do, but to wait that out as well," Uwambi commanded. "We'll need to make sure that whoever or whatever is out there, cannot bring destruction over here. If it comes closer, Yaoyorozu, you have my permission to create reinforcement to the structure. Kendo, you too have permission to help her with reinforcing the structure if it comes to that."
"Yes, ma'am!" the two said in unison, now determined.

To their relief, however, it seemed that the zone had calmed down after a few more minutes of hearing roaring in the area. It seems whatever had caused that roar, it was either neutralized or it could even be totally unrelated to the Nomu they would later learn about. However, there's still something off about the roar to Momo. It sounds like Goku, but surely it cannot be him, right...?

A bit to the Southwest, in Yokohama on the edge of the Kamino Ward, a duo of Hawks and Tokoyami were staking out a small pub, when they suddenly had news of an attack at Hosu Ward.

"Dang... the ward got beat up pretty badly by the Nomu invasion, though it seems that Endeavor and Ryukyu took care of them," Hawks said, looking at his phone.
"Hmm, it is indeed unfortunate. I can only hope Iida-san, Todoroki-san, and Son-san are safe," Tokoyami replied.
"Don't worry, I have a good feeling that they're safe. These news stories mention nothing about fatalities, only injuries." Then, his phone starts to ring. "Excuse me, partner." The call then begins. "Hello, this is Hawks. ...We're just scoping out a pub at Kamino. ...We actually were talking about what happened at Hosu. ...Really now? ...Oh. Oh. ...Understood. We'll leave for base immediately. ...I'll be there as fast as possible." Soon, the phone call ended.

"Is there something bad going on?" Tokoyami inquired.
"Nothing for you to know about, unfortunately. We'll have to cut our stake out short, but even this has helped tremendously." Hawks readied his wings. "You ready to fly again?"
"Of course. But isn't it illegal?" The birdman asked.
"Nah, not if I gave your permission to use your Quirk. As much as the Police Force and Hero Commission hates vigilantism and people using their Quirks without their licenses, they usually will look the other way if you're just transporting yourself. Though it's still just best practice to not use them unless you have permission to."

Hawks and Tokoyami soon took to the skies. The shadow cloaked around the bird student and allowed him to fly, or more accurately, glide, like his master, reporting back to the Hero Commission base due west in Yokohama.

The traveling duo, unfortunately, were much less pleased with how much action they had missed, as they were at the northern tip of the Tohoku Region during the Incident.

"Damn it! I wish we had just stayed around the Kanto Region. They just got a bunch of action down there!" Mirko bemoaned her fate of having missed the fight against Three Nomu, and apparently the Hero Killer was in town nearby.
"Hmph. You know, if I were there and I was allowed to fight, I'd plant one of those freaks down into the dirt, where it belongs," Bakugou spoke out, also pissed he missed out.
"Nah, you'd be handling evacuation duties, ya rugrat!" Mirko laughed uproariously, though the Explosive student had a scowl on his face. "I ain't doubting your ability to take them down, but there were enough heavy hitters!"
"That sounds like the lamest thing to do," he replied offhandedly, though this simply irritated the Rabbit Hero as she roughly grabbed him and forced him to look at her.

"That's enough, short stuff. I know, you want to fly into battle and annihilate your foes with precision and swift force like me. But there's much more to being a Hero than it is to kicking ass, as awesome as that is. We're both driven to win no matter what, but I wasn't always the bunny bitch you know me. Hell, I was bullied when I was a kid! They thought 'Ooh, Ms. Wittle Bunny Wabbit is sooo scarwy! Does she need a carrwot?' Let's just say that I trained myself from then on, and got so strong, those pricks stood back and watched a real badass get to work. Rescuing guys and girls, implanting my foot up those crooks' asses, the whole nine yards," Mirko smirked.
"That's bullshit, with you as strong as you are?! Why would those extras bully someone like you?!" Katsuki asked, indignant. True, she is no All Might, but she is genuinely a powerful Heroine who takes no bullshit from no one.
"Simple, rugrat. They thought I was weak. That my Quirk was only worth being a Playboy Bunny. Maybe I was weak back when I was a kid, but I barely remember it. The difference was that I channeled my rage to make sure no one else had to suffer the shit I had to take in, whether it's a bully whose too far up his own ass to hear me or a mastermind robber who couldn't accept 'no' for an answer!"

That answer hits Katsuki like a sniper bullet. Flashing back to his time back in middle school, back further to when he tormented Deku... He remembers exactly what he did, and the reason why he did it. It was all because Deku was Quirkless, automatically deemed lower than just a weakling, he was a training dummy. Yet, that Deku kept on coming back. And despite his Quirklessness, he was willing to try to directly save him from that Sludge Villain when no one else would or could, especially the Hero Death Arms, standing around like he was just another extra. He was celebrated for bravery, while that boy with the iron will was reprimanded, especially by the biggest coward that side of Musutafu. He started to feel something that he swore he had never felt before... Shame. It burns with a cold intensity.

"...Anyways, going back to Hosu, I heard that there was a giant fucking ape, not even doing anything wrong, until the turd that was Endeavor attacked it," Mirko broke the explosive student's train of thought.
"Wait, a giant ape..." He was thinking and parsing what the Rabbit Hero had just told him. There were not many Heroes who were monkeys. Shit, he only knew of one, that being the Monkey... Suddenly, it clicked to him for some strange, yet familiar reason. "What the fuck, that Monkey was there, too?!"
"I don't know if it was him per se, but some rumor had it that a boy looked at the moon and he turned into a giant beast that, evidently, that fire starting prick decided it was a good idea to piss it off."
"Oh, I think I know it has to be Monkey, bunny bitch. He's got this bushy monkey tail, and he claimed that he trained it to make it less weak to my grab. Hell, he went to Kyoto to be a part of that Dragoon Hero entourage that was down there! It has something to do with him, it has to...!"
"Heheh... Maybe, maybe not. Unless you want to go to Kyoto simply to interrogate Son and the ever graceful Ryukyu about it, I ain't that interested if he was that giant gorilla or not! Just be sure to never pull an Endeavor and attack someone or something that's been pacified, unless you wanna get a kick from yours truly!"
"Tch, fine. I'll let him harbor his little secret. But the moment I get proof, I'm gonna tell you 'I told you so', bunny bitch!"
"Bet."

With a rather rough head rub, the two soon continue on their adventures in the region. As much as the bunny bitch was irritating, she had a point. All Might was never just about kicking ass and taking names. With all the bullshit Deku had waxed lyrical about the No. 1 Hero, he saw firsthand just how awesome All Might often treats those he's rescuing. And if it's indeed true that Monkey was attacked unprovoked by Endeavor, that's yet another reason to not be like that fiery bastard. He'd rather just kick his ass, not condemn him to death... Though he doubts even Endeavor would have seriously injured one of his greatest rivals, considering how much punishment that Monkey took during the Sports Festival and during the USJ, with that Nomu being about as strong as All Might and somehow that Monkey pulling through...

AN: Honestly, this is mostly an excuse to explore how the Hosu Incident would impact other students/pros, mostly the Uwambi Group, the Dynamic Bird Duo, and the Traveling Band of Bunny and Boom. Especially the Uwambi Group, because Hosu Ward is basically within the playground of Tokyo. How wouldn't there be some level of concern that a gaggle of monsters similar to the one that was meant to murder All Might rampaging that close? And to be blunt, I included the Mirko/Bakugo pair here to expedite Katsuki's character arc, mostly by giving Rumi her own spiel about how she was bullied by kids back when she was little. As for my reasoning? The way I see it, it's because Goku basically broke Katsuki's ego so hard, he isn't able to really repair it unless he is able to beat him at his own game, thus why he went with Mirko when he suggested her over Best Jeanist.
