Chapter 162 Rescue Mission

Word of the attack outside the Capitol and the kidnapping of Jazz quickly spread like wildfire through the city. Jazz's family were immediately alerted about the attack and the kidnapping. Governor Lancer assured the family that he would do everything in his power to get Jazz back, before he went to get reports about the damages caused by the bombs.
"You think this is the Empire's doing?" Asked Danny looking at his mom.
"No the Empire wouldn't destroy resources and cause a panic to simply kidnap one of their employees. Plus they had no clue Jazz was helping us and the Rebels. This feels more like the work of a criminal organization." Said Maddie.
"Well I hope Jazz is ok." Said Danny.
"Me too." Said Maddie.
Wraith was furious about the attack and wanted to go rescue Jazz. She gave a detailed report to the guards telling them about seeing Youngblood and Vicky kidnapping Jazz and most likely being the culprits behind the attack, before she called Vlad and reported to him.
"So that low level traitor was behind this. Any particular reason she would kidnap Jazz?" Said Vlad.
"Jazz and I were the ones who exposed Vicky's corruption that lead to her downfall and she most likely wants revenge on me and Jazz." Said Wraith.
"I see." Said Vlad.
"What are we going to do?" Asked Wraith.
"Nothing right now. We let the local guards deal with this matter and wait for a response and action from Youngblood and Vicky. Until that happens remain at the Capitol and await further instructions." Said Vlad.
"Yes master. I will do that." Said Wraith.
The hologram of Vlad vanished and Wraith let out a annoyed sigh. Wraith wanted to track Youngblood and Vicky down and rescue Jazz, but she really had no leads to follow. She would just have to wait.
Hours later a message was delivered to the Capitol. Lancer summoned Wraith to his office to hear it. A hologram of a tied up Jazz appeared before Wraith and Lancer along with Youngblood and Vicky.
"Hello Empire scum. I am Captain Youngblood the dreaded pirate. Some time ago I took over the Capitol of Goza City with a brilliant plan that was thwarted by some scalawags. Now I'm free and I want that little white haired girl with the lightsaber in exchange for this lovely little hostage of mine. Have her brought to fuel station 209 outside the city and the hostage will be allowed to go free unharmed no strings attached, but if we spot any large amount of soldiers or ships in the area then the hostage dies." Said Youngblood.
The holograms vanished and Wraith quickly made a call to Vlad telling him the situation and asked what she should do.
"You will do nothing." Said Vlad.
"But...what about Jazz? She's a loyal servant and hard worker for the Empire!" Said Wraith.
"It is unfortunate, but you're too valuable a asset to be risked. The Empire, Pariah Dark is creating needs you. Don't fret, Jazz will be avenged." Said Vlad.
"Yes...master." Muttered Wraith.
The hologram vanished and Wraith went to see Lancer.
"Give me a map to fuel station 209 and a speeder bike. I will go retrieve Jazz. Also send Jazz's family the message we got. They have a right to know what's going on." Said Wraith.
Wraith was given both a map and a speeder bike and she headed out of the city as fast as she could determined to save Jazz.
Lancer sent Youngblood's message to Jazz's parents and Maddie, Danny, and Jack saw it. Maddie decided she and Danny needed to go save Jazz, so they geared up and they called upon Tucker, Wulf, Valerie, and Crash for help. The four Rebels showed up at Fenton Works and the six of them loaded up into some land speeders and raced out of the city determined to rescue Jazz.
