Episode 3: Twinning Isn't Everything
"Last time on Total Drama Pahkitew Island!" Chris started the recap. "Our teams faced off in a cabbage battle on sea! Amy spent her time aiming at Samey instead of the ship, which hit lots of people she wasn't aiming for! Ship captain Wayne realized taking out the opposing players before their ship was a great strategy! And it led them to victory! Oh yeah, and Zee's leg was ripped off by a shark. Good thing it was a prosthetic leg! Surprise! And because of Ripper's bullying and controlling behavior, he was the second person voted off! Who's getting eliminated today? Find out right now! On Total! Drama! Pahkitew Island!"
Intro
Just like yesterday, Jasmine and Samey went to pick berries when Jasmine started up a conversation.
"I'm happy he's gone. He was a pain in my ass." She says, not hesitating to speak her mind about Ripper.
"Ripper?" Samey smiles slightly. "Yeah, so am I. He looked like a huge bully. Reminds me of…" She stops herself from continuing.
However, Jasmine noticed this sudden pause from her. "Your sister?"
Samey blinked, as Jasmine was spot on. "Um, yeah, actually. Was it that obvious?"
"I've seen the way she's spoken to you." She tells her. "Plus, I saw her shoot a cabbage at you in the last challenge."
Samey's heart stopped once she pointed that out. " She did that? Well, I'm not surprised."
"Really? She's your sister." Jasmine scoffs. "You can't let her treat you like that."
"She never treats me that well."
"Then do something about it!"
"How can I? She's everyone's favorite! She's the pretty one!"
"You're identical twins! You're both the pretty one!"
Samey's eyes widened, not expecting to hear such a thing. "Really?"
"Sammy, look." Jasmine looks into her eyes.
"Sammy?" The cheerleader looks up to her with added shock. "You- you called me by my real name!"
"Of course! It's your name, ain't it?" Jasmine smiles. Samey exchanges the smile as she continues to speak. "The first person who stands up for you has got to be you."
"The first person who stands up for me… is me." Samey says to herself. "Yeah, you're so right. Thank you!"
"No problem." Jasmine smirks. "And besides, with Amy on the other team, you'll have a sense of freedom from being away from her."
She nods in response before asking a question. "So, are we like, friends?" Samey gave a small smile, but immediately gets nervous after she asks that. "I-if not, that's okay. I don't have a lot of friends, so I-I'm not- I just-"
Jasmine chuckles lightly at her nervousness. "Yes, we're friends. And don't worry, I have trouble making friends too."
"Really?" Samey tilts her head. She always thought Jasmine was super cool and it'd be easy for her to have friends.
"I don't know why, but," Before she continues, she punches a tree hard, causing the apples to all fall. Jasmine opens her sack to catch a lot of the apples. "People find me a bit intimidating." Suddenly, the tree falls over. Samey's eyes widen in shock at Jasmine's strength.
Confessional: Samey
"Jasmine is so cool! It feels nice to have a friend that actually has my back and isn't just using me to get close to my sister." She thought to herself for a second before speaking again. "Jasmine's right! I gotta stand up for myself!"
Soon, Shawn walked over to the girls, carrying a big sack with him. "Hey." He waved.
Jasmine's face immediately brightened once she saw him. "G'day Shawn."
The 2 smiled at each other, a small blush forming on their cheeks. Samey notices their loving expressions toward each other and smiles. "I'm gonna… go over there." She points before walking off.
"So, Shawn," Jasmine takes a step closer to him. "Any… zombies, in sight?" She winks.
Confessional: Shawn
"Usually when I talk to a girl, I'm the one who has to bring up the undead." He states. "Looks, survival skills, and a healthy fear of reanimated corpses? Man, this girl has everything!"
"No zombie sightings. Yet." Shawn narrows his eyes as he looks around. "But they can walk underwater, so they could be on this island right now!"
"Definitely. They could be anywhere." Jasmine giggles.
Shawn looks at the bag in his hand, then back up at Jasmine. "I better get this food back to my team. I'll, uh, see you around?"
"I'll be here." She smiles as she watches Shawn leave.
Samey then walks back to Jasmine. "Were you talking about zombies?"
Jasmine laughs a little. "Yeah. It's just a little running joke between us.
Confessional: Samey
"I'm guessing Jasmine likes Shawn… wow." She says to herself before realizing how she sounds and looks at the camera in panic. "Wait, no, I'm not saying she has weird taste! I-I just never thought of Shawn being her type."
Meanwhile Caleb led Sky, Julia, Amy, and Scary Girl over to a cave that he found earlier.
"This is perfect Caleb!" Sky says, her voice echoing in the cave.
"Nice!" Scary Girl grins and clasps her hands together.
Julia looks around and shudders a bit. "It needs some aesthetics."
"Thanks!" Caleb smiles at the girls. "I figured shelter would be most important right now. It could rain any day."
"Awesome work!" Sky walks over to Caleb. "Have you told the others about this?"
"Only Shawn knows about this. We actually found it together. Though he says he's still gonna sleep in his tree." Caleb shrugs. "Something about not wanting to be an undead snack."
Sky didn't exactly know what that meant, but shrugged it off as well. "Well, this is certainly an improvement from sleeping outside."
"Of course." Caleb grins as he casually puts a hand on Sky's shoulder. "Anything to help the team."
Amy saw their interaction and raised an eyebrow at them.
Confessional: Amy
"I already didn't like that Sky girl with her whole 'team captain' shtick she has going on, but now her and Caleb are getting close. That's 2 physical threats teaming up with each other, and that's not good at all. I need to separate them, fast." She smirks. "And I know just the person to help me with that."
Speaking of said person, Dave and the Hockey bros sat on a couple of rocks on the beach, listening to Nichelle's story.
Wayne was the first to speak. "The scene in Fight or Flight Attendant when you kicked the guy off the plane mid-flight was sick!"
"Heck yeah!" Raj grinned. "You even made that iconic quote: 'No Parachute for you! Learn to fly!'"
"That one was so fun to shoot!" Nichelle smirks, her ego boosting more and more as the boys compliment her. "They actually let me fly that plane!"
"No way!" Dave grinned. "Where'd you get your airplane license?"
Nichelle froze for a second, as she didn't expect to be asked that. Luckily, she quickly thought of an answer. "Oh, my producer had this one friend who was a pilot. He taught me everything."
"That's so cool." Dave smiles at her. "Your best move was in Werewolf Band Camp when you slayed that monster with that silver flute."
"You play a mean flute." Raj added, chuckling.
"Yeah, people say I'm great at everything." Nichelle says with a smug expression.
"Totally." Dave nods before asking her a question. "By the way, I know you've done a handful of romance films, but… have you ever actually been in a relationship?"
His question caught the attention of the Hockey bros. Nichelle thought to herself for a second before answering. "I have, but every relationship I've been in hasn't lasted long. I'm single right now."
Dave's smile grew once he heard that answer. "Great! I-I mean- uh- cool! Ehe, that's cool…"
Nichelle raises an eyebrow at him before shrugging and standing up from her rock. "I'm gonna go find some food. Later!" She walks off.
"See ya." Dave says to her with a smile and a wave, before noticing the hockey bros were smirking at him. "What?"
"Heh, you're totally tryna hook up with her, ey bud?" Wayne grins.
"Good luck dude!" Raj pats his back. "We're rootin' for ya!"
Dave blinks, giving them an indifferent expression. "Thanks…"
Confessional: Dave
"Am I that obvious?" He sighs and facepalms. "Sorry, but, can you blame me? Nichelle is awesome! I wonder if she'd go out with a guy like me. I know, I know, you probably think I'd have no chance with a literal Hollywood star, but I have my way with the ladies! If I was able to get a super cool athlete in Sky to like me, surely I can get Nichelle to like me too."
The Ferocious Trout were in the middle of the forest, sitting around a picnic blanket with a ton of fruit.
"Wow, this is great!" Priya smiles brightly. "Thanks Jasmine!"
"Of course!" Jasmine grins. "But give thanks to Sammy as well. She helped out!"
"Sammy?" Priya blinks, then turns to Samey. "Oh, you mean Samey."
Samey sighs, looking a little dejected. Jasmine couldn't help but get defensive of her. "No, I mean Sammy. Her name is Sammy."
Priya couldn't help but feel intimidated by Jasmine's expression. "Oh, s-sorry."
"It's okay." Samey replies with a soft smile before putting her hand on Jasmine's arm, signaling her everything was alright. Jasmine's cold expression fades and she nods.
"Wait, but, I thought your sister said you go by Samey." Rodney raises an eyebrow in curiosity.
Samey sighs at the mention of her sister. "It's a name she gives me because I'm the 'lesser' Amy."
"Woah-hoh! You have a sister!?" Zee asks Samey, who blinks in confusion.
"Of course she does." Bowie tilts his head. "Where have you been?"
Zee thinks about how to answer. "On the dock, in my bed, near a tree, near another tree…"
As Zee trailed off, the team just stared at him, baffled at his intelligence.
"And now I'm right here!" He says before munching on some fruit. "Man, these mini apples are great!"
"Um, those are strawberries." Millie corrects him.
"Ohh, right." Zee grins. Millie couldn't help but write in her notebook immediately afterwards.
"Ooh, this breakfast is simply wonderful!" Ella beams before standing up. "This calls for a song!"
She was about to start singing, until MK shoves a pear in her mouth. "Nope! No song needed."
"World Tour was 2 seasons ago." Topher jokes with a grin.
Ella's eyes brightened at him and she took the pear out of her mouth. "You've seen that season too? What was your favorite song?"
Topher smiles, happy to talk about a Total Drama season. He thought for a moment before answering. "The duet between Alejandro and Heather, where Heather was stuck in a hole."
"I liked that one too!" Ella's face brightens. "A duet is so romantic, even if there was malice between both of them. I personally love the New York song! Courtney has such a nice voice!"
"Are you guys talking about World Tour?" Priya smiles, entering the conversation. "That was my favorite season! Oh my god, I'd love to travel the world for a season! That sounds so much fun!"
Bowie and MK watched as the 3 spoke, then turned to see Rodney pathetically trying to talk with Millie, and finally saw Samey and Jasmine having a conversation about Amy. The 2 then look at each other.
Confessional: Bowie
"Ugh, since when did everyone become best friends? It's only been 2 days! How is it that I am one of the people in the outcast!?"
Confessional: MK
"I hate seeing people be friendly with each other. It's disgusting."
"It's challenge time!" Chris announces through the intercoms. "All butts to the meeting area in five!"
"I'm coming Chris!" Topher immediately stands and starts to run, followed by everyone else minus Bowie and MK.
MK rolls her eyes at the Chris fanatic and walks to follow. Seeing the opportunity, Bowie smirks at her and walks alongside her. "Soo…"
"You wanna form an alliance?" MK asks him before he speaks, as if she was reading his mind.
Bowie blinks. "Oh, straight to the point, huh?"
"What else would you be asking me? How's the weather today?" MK shrugs.
"Fair enough." Bowie nods his head and narrows at his team from behind. "These people are getting way too close already. We gotta make sure they go one by one, or else we'll be outnumbered."
It didn't take long for MK to agree with a grin. "Cool. I'm in."
They give each other a fist bump.
Confessional: MK
"An alliance that lets me break off people's friendships? Count me in!"
Confessional: Bowie
"MK is not somebody I would've found myself working with, but I can tell she's smart and she's here to play. She'll be a great ally to have."
Chris was writing on a piece of paper when Topher ran up behind him, panting a bit. "Morning, Chris! Totally pumped for today's challenge!"
Chris raises an eyebrow and looks at him, unamused. "Oh, good. I can't tell you how little that means to me."
Topher, oblivious to Chris's unamusement, slyly asks a question. "Ya think I could explain the challenge to the others?"
"Woah woah woah." Chris turns and puts a hand up to him. "That's kind of the host's job, Topher."
"Right, right. I'm sorry, just excited." He says sheepishly, then continues his flattery by saying, "It's like we're already winners because we got to meet Chris! The Chris McLean!"
Chris fell for his flattery and smirks. "Wow. Well said, Topher."
Priya, who walked in on the 2 conversing, raises an eyebrow at Topher.
Confessional: Priya
"Oh, wow. Topher's level of admiration for Chris is really up there. I may need to keep an eye out for him."
Everyone gathered in front of Chris and Chef, who stood in front of a crate of what looked like water balloons.
"Gather 'round victims!" Chris grins. "This game is called 'Doom Balloons'."
"Doom? That doesn't sound fun." Wayne says, blankly.
Topher shushes him before saying "Go ahead Chris!"
"You'll have 10 seconds to collect a bunch of balloons! That are filled with, who knows what? Talc, paint, itching powder,"
As Chris lists the possible substances, everybody aside from Scary Girl cringes, with Dave cringing the hardest.
"Bees, spiders, bird poop, it's always a surprise!"
"Yay!" Ella claps her hands. Everybody looks at her in confusion. "Who doesn't love a surprise?"
"None of you." Chris says firmly, breaking Ella's smile. "None of you will love a surprise."
Topher couldn't help but interject. "Chris, I love the way you-"
Before letting him finish, Chris blew his whistle. "If you're hit with any balloon contents, you're out. It doesn't matter if the balloons are thrown, launched, kicked, or sent by courier. Last player standing wins it for their team!"
This time, Chef grabs his whistle to blow it.
PHREEEET!
"Grab your balloons people!" Chef shouted.
Everybody immediately rushes to grab balloons from the crates, then run off into the forest.
"The hunting doesn't start until you hear the air horn!"
Confessional: Topher
"Me and Chris are pretty tight. I wouldn't be surprised if he asked me to co-host or something. I mean-"
HONK!
Topher's eyes widened once he heard the horn. "Ah! Gotta go!"
MK walked around the forest. She looks around before kneeling down to place her balloons on the ground and pick up a stick from the ground.
Bowie happened to be running by and stopped once he noticed her. "What are you up to?"
"I'm trying to make a dart shooter." MK says as she fiddles with the stick. "That way I can shoot the balloons and pop them in their hands."
Bowie's eyes perked open. "Wow! That's really smart. I'm gonna keep watch while you work."
MK smirks. "Great. You can be my human shield."
He raises an eyebrow. "Hey, I didn't say that."
"I know, I'm kidding… sort of."
Meanwhile, Sky was sneaking around, determined to get someone. She hears a twig snap behind her and immediately grabs a balloon and turns around, ready to throw.
"Woah!" Caleb says, raising a hand.
"Oh it's you." Sky's expression softens and she smiles.
"Hey." He smiles back. "I was wondering, maybe we should team up. Watch each other's backs?"
Sky stares at him. His kindness in addition with his muscular and sharp eyes made it difficult to hold back a blush.
Confessional: Sky
"Ugh, Caleb is really attractive, and I totally respect him for being a fellow athlete. But I'm here to win! I can't let myself get distracted by his ocean blue eyes, or his spicy abs," She says, starting to blush and stare into space. "Or his beautiful smile… or his- wait, no! Stop it Sky! No distractions!" She stares at the camera and gulps. "Plus, it's extra awkward with my ex here."
"Thanks, but I think I'll go it alone." Sky says nervously. "It's nothing personal, Caleb. It's just easier to be silent when you're by yourself."
"Alright, all good." Caleb nods. "See you later." He says as he turns and starts to walk.
Sky watches as he starts to walk off. She felt her heart start to beat and suddenly acted on impulse. "Wait!" She runs up to him. Caleb blinks and turns to look at her. Sky pants a bit. "I-I actually think it's better if we… watch each other's backs, you know?"
Caleb smirks at her. "What made you change your mind?"
Sky blushes. "Well, I was thinking… maybe we can-"
Before Sky could finish, 2 flying balloons hit her and Caleb, covering them in white and red paint respectively. They gasp and turn their heads to see Priya poking her head from behind a tree.
"Yes!" She cheers silently before running away.
"And Priya takes out our first 2 casualties: Sky and Caleb!" Chris announces from the intercom.
Confessional: Priya
"I've been training hard for a challenge like this! At home, dad and I would be hiding around the house, trying to hit each other with water balloons. We did break a few vases, but it was all worth it in the end!"
Dave was walking by himself when he heard Chris's announcement from the intercom.
"Sky's out already?" He raises an eyebrow. "Geez, I expected better."
Amy runs up to him with a smirk. "Hey, Dave. I wanted to talk to you."
He turns to look at Amy. "Amy? Uh, what is it?"
She smirks maliciously. "So… have you seen who Sky's been talking to a lot lately?"
Dave's eyes widened a bit once he heard the mention of Sky's name. "No?"
Amy giggles. "She's been talking with Caleb a lot lately. You haven't noticed?"
Dave shook his head. "I haven't. Caleb? You mean the big muscular guy?"
"Yep. Looks like she's upgraded from you." She smirks.
His eyes widened. Clearly he was hurt by this but hid his feelings behind his rolling eyes. "Of course. Cause Caleb is super big and strong and a lot better than me at everything."
Amy couldn't help but giggle at him. "I mean, I don't blame her. He is eye candy."
Dave glares at her. Amy sees this and immediately stops giggling. "Oh, yeah, um, the reason I'm telling you this is because I don't like that Sky girl either."
"Glad I'm not the only one." He groans.
"I know of a way to make her life terrible." She smirks. "Since she upgraded from you, it's only fitting that you upgrade from her."
He raises an eyebrow. "I'm listening."
"First, show her that you're not affected at all by her moving on, and that you've moved on yourself. Try getting yourself a new girlfriend. One that's clearly a lot better than Sky to show that you upgraded from her." Amy puts a hand over her chest in an arrogant way. "Someone like-"
"Nichelle!" Dave's eyes sparkled in excitement.
Amy blinks. "What?"
"Great plan, Amy!" He smiles widely. "I'm gonna go find Nichelle right now!" He says before running away.
"Wait- ugh! That's not what I meant!"
Confessional: Amy
"Dang it! Dave was supposed to pretend to be my boyfriend! So not only I'd have a solid ally, but also rub it in Samey's ugly face!" She huffs. "Whatever. Dave so isn't my type anyway."
Millie was walking around by herself til she noticed she was being followed. She turns around instinctively and noticed a big farm boy. "Rodney?"
"Oh, uh, hey Millie." He smiles sheepishly and waves.
She raises a skeptical eyebrow at him. "Are you… following me?"
"What? No, I was… uh…" He trailed off as he tried to come up with an answer. "Was making sure nobody was following you!"
Millie blinks. "Okay? Um, I'm gonna go that way." She points before walking.
"Oh, okay." He says, looking dejected. "See you later?"
Confessional: Rodney
"Gah, what is wrong with me!?" He grabs his hair. "Why can't I talk to her normally?"
He then hears some rustling. He turns his head to see a moving bush, and a ponytail sticking out of it. Rodney grins as he raises a balloon. "Sorry Scary Girl, you should've hidden better."
As he was about to throw the balloon, Scary Girl pokes her head out from the bush, with the creepiest expression she could give. Rodney jumped from the sight. "Ah!" He falls on his butt. Scary Girl proceeds to jump out of the bush and laughs as she throws a balloon, hitting him directly in his face, leaving pink gunk all over him and eliminating him from the challenge. "Aww…"
Meanwhile, Julia sneaked around the forest, warily. She didn't like the fact she was alone. "Okay, I love you Mother Earth, but I do not wanna be alone right now."
A small distance away, MK and Bowie peek their heads from a bush. They smirk as MK puts the dart shooter to her mouth and shoots.
POP!
Julia gasps as she finds herself covered in a substance; she didn't know until the scent went up her nose; mustard.
"Ah! My hair! No!" She bloodily screams as if she was being murdered. She quickly runs away in a panic, unaware that a peculiar rectangle item in a blue case fell out of her pocket.
MK, impressed with herself and taking satisfaction at Julia's misfortune, walks up to the phone and picks it up. "Hah! This makes everything a hundred times better."
Bowie walks over to her and playfully gasps dramatically at the sight of Julia's phone in her hand. "You are not going to steal that." He says despite knowing very well she would do the opposite of what he says.
MK laughs and places it in her pocket. "She has plenty of 'em. She wouldn't notice."
Confessional: MK
"This could be very useful. I'm gonna keep hold of this." She says, showing off the phone to the camera. She then turns it on and blinks in confusion, staring at the screen. "Oh, wow. How come there's good internet? We're on an island."
Jasmine and Samey snuck around the forest together. Samey steps on a twig and flinches and squeaks a bit. She looked down at her red shoe on the broken piece of wood, and sighs.
Jasmine looks at her like a mother warning her child. "Watch ya step there. Any noise can alert something."
"Sorry." She apologized, looking down. She decides to let Jasmine take the lead and she walks behind her.
Unbeknownst to them, a certain zombie-fearing boy sat atop a branch, staring down at them. Though instead of throwing balloons at them to eliminate them from the challenge, he was distracted by the Australian's impressive display of silence.
"Even with all the branches and twigs on the ground, she moves so silently!" He says with astonishment, smiling in admiration. "Wow…"
Confessional: Shawn
"Look, I don't wanna like her! 73.6% of all men who die in zombie movies die because the girl they love becomes a zombie!" He says matter-of-factly. "And when it comes time to cut her head off, they get all sentimental about it and they hesitate! When there are zombies on your tail, man, thinking is the last you want to do!"
The duo continued to walk together until they met up with Zee, who was empty-handed.
"Oi, what happened to your balloons?" Jasmine asked with a raised eyebrow.
"What?" Zee looked down at his empty arms, then realization caught him. "Ohhh! I guess I needed those."
Samey couldn't help herself from blinking at his lack of knowledge at the challenge. "What did you do with them?"
"I thought if I let them go, they'd float." He states, laughing. "I forgot they were filled with things-"
Right as he finishes, he is hit with a flying balloon. "Ah!" The girls' eyes widen and they back away to avoid getting stained. He looks down at himself, covered in an orange substance. He licks some of it from his arm and smiles. "Woah, orange soda! Sick!"
Samey and Jasmine look over to where the balloon was thrown from. The branch that originally held a certain zombie-fearing boy now held no one.
Jasmine narrows her eyes, looking determined. "They could be anywhere. Run."
She starts to run. Samey flinches and runs after her.
Confessional: Zee
He was licking the soda from his arms.
Nichelle snuck around the forest like a predator looking for prey, when she heard somebody running up to her. She readied a balloon, til she saw who it was.
"Nichelle!" Dave ran up to her and smiled. "Wow, am I glad to see you."
She smiles. "Oh, Dave. Thank goodness, I thought you were someone from the other team." Her smile quickly fades and she shudders. "Ugh, I hate this challenge. Nobody better hit me in the face!"
He chuckles, then looks down at his balloons and shudders. "Yeah, that'd be bad. Imagine all the bad stuff in these balloons. I'd hate for your face to be ruined." He says, trying to sound sly about it.
Nichelle looks at him and giggles. "You're a huge fan, aren't you?"
"Maybe." Dave giggles.
POP! POP! POP! POP!
They flinch as they hear the sounds of constant balloon popping. They look past some trees to witness the source of the sounds.
"Hah! Got you Rajjy!" Wayne laughs, covered in numerous substances before being hit in the face with another balloon.
"Got you too Wayner!" Raj grins, also covered in numerous substances.
"Are you serious right now!?" Nichelle glares at them. "You're supposed to take out the other team! You just took out yourselves!"
Wayne stares at them blankly, then his eyes widened. "Ohh! Sorry! Couldn't help ourselves, ey?"
Raj frowns as he realizes his stupidity. "Sorry team."
To add insult to injury, the intercom played. "And Wayne and Raj take each other out, leaving the Frogs of Death at 5 players left in the challenge while the Ferocious Trout still have 8!"
Dave facepalms. "You've got to be kidding me. We're 3 players down?"
"No! We can't lose!" Nichelle groans and looks to Dave, putting a hand on his shoulder, much to his delight. "Dave, we gotta split up and take out more members of the other team!"
He felt a little disappointment once she said to split up. "I was actually thinking-"
Nichelle didn't hesitate to cut him off. "We cannot lose this challenge! Okay?"
Seeing her determination motivated him a little bit and he responded with a grin. "You got it Nichelle! I am on it!" He says before starting to run off.
"Tree!" Nichelle shouts out to him, but to no avail as he hits the tree anyway.
"Ow!"
Meanwhile, Chris was watching this scene play out through his monitor, laughing a tiny bit.
"Chris!"
He hears his name and turns around to see Topher, coming out of a bush.
"Topher, you're in the middle of a challenge dude." He reminds him.
"I know, but it's important." He exaggerates as he points at his face. "You gotta call the makeup department to do something about those crow's feet!"
"Crow's feet?" Chris's self-consciousness immediately grows once he mentions the imperfection on his face.
"Yeah, it looked like they were wearing cleats." Topher says, once again exaggerating his worry for Chris. "What if kids start tweeting about how old you look and replace you for a younger host."
"Replace? Me?" The usually confident Chris started to panic. He gasps dramatically and runs off shouting, "Make up!"
Topher grins, before looking behind him and ducks, just barely dodging a balloon that flew over his head. "Woah!" Quickly, he jumps into a nearby bush.
Despite the usual competitiveness of the challenge, Ella walks around calmly with a big smile on her face. She looks around at a butterfly flying around her and puts a finger out for it to land on.
"Hello, beautiful butterfly!" She says happily before letting it fly again. "You should hide until our game is done!"
"RAHHHH!" A war cry came from Millie as she ran out from behind a tree, holding a balloon over her head. But before she'd make the mistake of taking out her own teammate, she opens her eyes and freezes. "Oh, it's you. Sorry." She lowers her hands.
Ella smiles, unbothered by the sudden scream from her. "Look, Millie!" She held up her balloon, which had a smiley face drawn on it. "Just because my balloon is made to do harm, doesn't mean that it can't look adorable and constantly delighted to be here!"
Millie blinks. "Uh, right."
Confessional: Millie
"Interesting." She says before writing in her notebook."
"Oh, Millicent." Ella looks at her with complete happiness, not paying attention to the challenge whatsoever. "I just know we're going to be the best of friends!"
Millie smiles softly at her as if she didn't write something mean about her in her notebook. Her eyes widen though once she hears a twig snap.
"I heard something. Duck!" She suddenly pushes Ella into a bush, causing her to fall back. Millie looks around, holding a balloon up, ready to throw it. Nichelle pokes her head out from a bush, and throws a balloon at her.
Millie, not seeing the balloon in time to react, gets hit in the face. She looks down at herself, seeing tiny red creatures crawling all over her. "Ah! Fire ants!" She screams as she runs away.
"Yes!" Nichelle cheered silently before running off as well.
"Millie? Millie?" Ella, stuck upside down in the bush, was unaware of the whole fiasco. "I've fallen into this poor bush!"
Meanwhile, Dave was running around, til he slowly started to get tired. He put his hand on a tree to lean on, but took his hand back once he saw something unusual a tree would have: Eyes.
"Ah! This tree has eyeballs!" He says in fear. "Eyeball tree!"
"Woah woah woah!" Shawn steps forward from the tree, covered in brown coating. "It's me, Shawn! I camouflaged myself in mud and moss!"
"Oh." Dave blinks, feeling a little stupid now, but impressed by Shawn's camouflage. "Where did you learn to do that?"
"I knew my cake-decorating skills would come in handy!" Shawn grins.
Confessional: Dave
"Who orders a cake that looks like tree bark?" He scratches his head in confusion. "I mean, how many beavers celebrate their birthday?"
Confessional: Shawn
"Bakers have been hiding in plain sight since like, the dawn of time." He says, though then looks unsure. "At least that's what my boss at the bakery tells me. Mind you, he also said the pyramids were built by pastry chefs, so…"
Shawn, not camouflaged anymore, pulled back his balloons in a slingshot he made using 2 trees.
A good distance away, Bowie and MK were walking together, unaware of their pending doom.
"You gotta let me have a turn on that." Bowie grins, pointing at the dart shooter in her hand.
MK laughs. "Not gonna happen."
Shawn lets go of the slingshot and the balloons are fired. Miraculously, he got a direct hit with balloons. Bowie and MK screech once they are suddenly hit, the former covered in green goop and the latter covered in powder.
"Dang it!" MK sighs. "It was fun while it lasted."
Dave, witnessing the whole thing, looked impressed. "Awesome shot!"
"Thanks." Shawn smiles. "It's a trick I learned for taking out multiple zombies at once."
"…right." Dave still doesn't understand the whole zombie thing, but shrugs it off.
"The Frogs of Death are pulling it back, taking out 3 members of the Ferocious Trout! The teams are now tied, 5-5!" Chris announces through the intercom.
A little while after the announcement, Chris walks through the forest with an arrogant smile.
"Wow, Chris!" Topher notices the change in his face and comes out of a bush. "Great makeup job dude! You look 20 years younger! It's like you're 30 again!"
After his comment, Chris's smile disappeared and was replaced with an offended look. "I am 30!"
"Oh, um, yeah, I know!" Topher lies, not expecting 30 to be his true age. "And now you look it! But you could use some moisturizer."
Chris narrows his eyes at Topher, but looks up, then smirks and takes a step back. Topher, confused by his action, raises an eyebrow and looks behind him, before getting hit in the back with a balloon.
"Aghh!" He yelps as he was hit.
"Thank you!" Chris shouts to whoever threw the balloon.
Topher looks down in fear at the crawling creatures on his body. "Ah! Spiders in my hair!" He screamed as he ran off in a panic.
"Yeah!" Dave runs over and cheers. "Did you see that?"
"Yes I did." Chris smiles. "Your team's up by one. Only 4 more to go."
Dave runs off as Chris puts a hand on his cheek. "Moisturizer, huh?"
Dave runs until he hears his voice by the waterfall.
"Dave!" He freezes to look around, then sees a rustling bush, where Nichelle emerged out of.
"Nichelle." His face brightened once he saw her. "You missed it, I got a direct shot on Topher!"
"That's great! I got a shot off on Millie." Nichelle smirks. "She didn't see it coming!"
"Awesome job." He grins confidently. "Chris told me there's only 4 more to go, so let's-"
Before he could finish, a certain Australian giant swung from a vine and dropped a balloon on each of their heads.
"Ah!" They yelp in surprise.
"Might wanna keep quiet next time, lovebirds!" Jasmine shouts as she swung away.
Unlike most of the unfortunate casualties, Nichelle wasn't covered by any substance. But there was a loud buzzing sound around her. She looks around in fear. "Bees!" She screams as she runs away. "Not the face! Not the face!"
"Nichelle! Wait up!" Dave was about to run after, yet suddenly felt his body get itchy. "What the?" He looks at the powdery substance on his body and rapidly starts scratching himself all around.
Confessional: Dave
"Itching powder!? Really!? I'm pretty sure I'm allergic to this!" Dave states in agony before hearing Chris's voice through the speakers.
"Everybody's allergic to it! It's itching powder!"
Priya sneaks around, looking for people. She spots someone, but they weren't from the opposing team. It was Ella, who was petting a deer.
"Ella!" Priya ran over to her. "Have you seen any of the other team?"
"Hm?" Ella turns her head to look at her, and she smiles. "Oh, no! I haven't seen anybody other than Millie. Unfortunately I lost her once I fell into a bush."
Priya notices Ella was empty-handed. "Where are your balloons!? Did you take anyone out?"
Ella frowns as she asks this. "Oh no, I could never harm anyone!"
Priya facepalms. "Ella, you're not harming anyone. Well, maybe you are, but the point is to take out the other team so we can win!"
After Priya finished her sentence, 2 balloons flew through the air and hit both girls in the head. They both let out screeches and look at each other, covered in mustard and relish.
"No!" Priya shouts in defeat.
Amy runs past them and laughs. "Hah! Losers!"
After the mean cheerleader runs away, Ella frowns and looks at Priya apologetically. "I'm so sorry, I got us eliminated!"
Priya was a little annoyed, but seeing Ella's sorry face softened her expression. "It's… okay. You didn't mean to." She gave a small smile.
Meanwhile, with the nicer cheerleader, she was sneaking around by herself, until she noticed someone moving in the distance. She smirks and raises a balloon, but froze once she saw who it was: Scary Girl and her terrifying expression.
Scary Girl grins widely at Samey, before laughing like a maniac and running towards her with a balloon.
Samey's fear overcame her and she screamed and covered herself with her arm.
POP!
Her eyes widen once she heard a pop, but didn't feel a hit. She looks over at Scary Girl, who was covered in red goop.
"Aww." The creepy girl pouts before running away. Jasmine then ran over and smiles at the cheerleader.
"That was a close one. How come you backed out?" She looks down at her.
Samey chuckles sheepishly. "I… got scared. Sorry."
"No worries. She is called Scary Girl after all." Jasmine shrugs. "It's just us left for our team, so we gotta focus."
Samey's eyes widen once. "Just us? Oh, okay." She definitely felt the pressure on her shoulders being one of the last few left for her team.
"There's nothing to worry about." Jasmine smirks. "Since you have all the balloons left, we should stick together. I spotted Shawn's hiding spot earlier."
"You must always know where he is, huh?" Samey teases her a little, causing the Australian to blush a tiny bit.
"Oh, shut up." She giggles. "Come, follow me."
After a bit, Jasmine and Samey were on top of a cliff, where they saw Shawn hiding in a bush below them.
"He's right below us." Jasmine says, looking at Samey. "You got this, okay?"
Samey looked down, starting to get butterflies in her stomach noticing how high up they were, let alone the pressure of how she could either win or lose it for her team.
"I-I don't know." She looks back up to Jasmine. "I think you should take it. I don't wanna mess this up."
Jasmine shakes her head. "You can do this, Sammy. I know you can. Drop it right down on him."
Samey looks into her eyes, then looks determined and nods. "Okay, I'll do it."
"Atta girl." She grins.
Samey looks down at Shawn in the bushes. She takes a deep breath, getting ready to drop the balloon, when suddenly,
POP!
Samey flinches, almost dropping her own balloon. She turns to see Jasmine, who is now covered in ketchup.
"Jasmine!" Her eyes widened. She turns to look behind her to see… her worst nightmare: her sister.
Amy grins, holding a balloon in her hand. "Finally, I found you!"
Samey quickly stands up and glares at her. "Amy! How did you find us!?"
She laughs. "I followed you up here! That's what happens when you walk with giants!"
That comment made Jasmine glare, but not as much as Samey. Samey can take Amy's insults towards her, as she's been used to them, but towards her friend? It ignited something different.
"Shut up!" Samey shouts, glaring at her sister.
Amy's eyes widen. She's never been told to shut up by Samey before. She groans in anger. "Excuse me!? What did you say!?"
"You heard me! You can talk to me that way, but not to my friend!" She wasn't holding back her anger. Jasmine looks at Samey with a smile, impressed that she's finally standing up for herself in front of her sister.
Amy scoffs. "You have a friend? Tch, how could anyone like you? You're a wannabe me. A spare Amy." She gasps and smirks. "Your name should be Sparemy! Hah! Once we get home, I'm changing your birth certificate!"
Samey rolls her eyes. "Whatever! I'm not letting you walk all over me anymore! I'm not letting you win this challenge!"
"Tough luck, cause you just lost!" Amy grins, before throwing her balloon at her.
Samey screeched as she limbos to just barely dodge's Amy's balloon. Quickly, Samey throws her balloon at her in retaliation.
Amy was so confident that she was gonna hit her that she didn't expect a balloon to fly at her. She attempts to dodge, but the balloon hits her straight in the face, covering her in pink paint. Amy's eyes widen in shock, before giving a high pitched scream.
"The challenge is over! Ferocious Trout win!" Chris announces through the speakers.
"What!?" Amy screamed. "How!? Shawn is still in!"
"I wouldn't be too sure about that." Jasmine smirks, looking down off the cliff side.
Samey looked down as well, followed by Amy. At the bottom, a confused Shawn was covered in blue goop. "What the heck? Where did that balloon come from!?" He looks up.
"Looks like you hit your own teammate." Jasmine grins at Amy, who was completely speechless.
Confessional: Amy
"Agh! Samey won against me!? The world is upside-down!"
Everyone met up in the clearing, most still covered in whatever substance they were hit with. Chris smiles brightly.
"Tonight's winners get to enjoy dinner from Mary's Lamb Burgers." Chris holds up a bag with the logo of a girl holding up a burger. "That's Mary's Lamb Burger and barbecue emporium. Mary had a Little Lamb." He laughs. " Had."
He tosses the bag to the Ferocious Trout, which Samey caught with a smile.
"Frogs of Death, I'll see you at the Elimination Ceremony tonight."
Elimination Ceremony: Frogs Of Death
The Frogs of Death walked through the usual pathway to the Elimination Ceremony, all washed up now from the challenge. Dave walks with Nichelle, though winces at the sight of her face covered in bee stings. They made it to the campfire and took their seats. Chris stood in front of them, holding a tray of marshmallows.
"Frogs Of Death, welcome back!" He grins. "Tonight, you will be voting out another member of your team!"
"Sky and Caleb," Chef names, causing them to tense up in response. "You 2 were eliminated from the challenge first. For being the 2 strongest on your team, both of your performances were really disappointing today."
Sky looks down, and Caleb puts a hand on her shoulder to comfort her. Dave saw this and rolled his eyes.
Confessional: Caleb
"That's rough. I'm the reason we got hit." He sighs and looks down in shame. "I feel terrible."
Confessional: Sky
"This sucks! It feels like I've contributed a lot to both of our team's losses!" She puts her hands over her face. "I need to step up my game!"
"Wayne and Raj," Chef points to them. "Instead of taking out the opposing team, you took out each other."
The team glared at the hockey bros, who both looked down in shame.
"Sorry team." Wayne frowns.
"Didn't understand the assignment." Raj shakes his head in shame.
"And finally, Amy." Amy just rolls her eyes as Chef says her name. "You could've won it for your team. However, Samey got the hit on you first, and you even took out a member of your own team."
Shawn glares at Amy, who simply scoffs in response.
Confessional: Amy
"Okay, that was an off-cliff shot!" She said with frustration. "The odds of that even happening were super low!"
"You've all cast your votes." Chris says, looking through said votes. He then picks up a marshmallow. "If I call your name, you are safe."
"Caleb!"
"Julia!"
"Wayne!"
"Raj!"
"Nichelle!"
"Scary Girl!"
"Shawn!"
"And Dave!"
He tosses a marshmallow to each name he calls out, each catching their marshmallows in relief.
"Amy, Sky," As he says their names, they glare at each other. "One of you is going home. The last marshmallow goes to…"

"Sky!"
"Yes!" Sky cheers as she catches her marshmallow, with Caleb sighing in relief beside her.
Amy stands up in shock. "What!? This can't be happening! I can't go home before Samey!"
"Pack your bags! The Drone of Shame awaits!" Chris grins, totally ignoring her frustration.
She proceeded to glare at her teammates. "You all will regret this! Mark my words!"
Final Words: Amy
"Whatever! I don't need this stupid show anyway! What pisses me off is that Sparemy is still there! Ugh, I hate this! Everyone is gonna watch this and see how horrible she really is. Sparemy, don't bother coming back home after this! I'm gonna convince mom and dad to disown you!"
Amy stands at the edge of the dock, clenching her fists and glaring down at the sea. Though her expression slowly turns into a small frown. Suddenly, the Drone Of Shame appeared and grabbed Amy from the back of her top.
"I hate you Sparemy!" Amy screams as she is taken away.
Confessional: Samey
"Whew!" Samey relaxes her shoulders and sighs. "She's had it coming, for years. I guess twinning isn't everything." She says with a proud grin.
Confessional: Sky
"Amy was not a team player whatsoever!" She glared. "We needed to take her out. Plus, I didn't trust how her and Dave kept speaking with each other."
"That's 3 down, 19 remaining!" Chris announces. "Who will survive the next elimination? Find out next time! In Total! Drama! Pahkitew Island!"

Woo! This took a while to write. I'm sorry it took so long to get out, as my interest in writing goes up and down a lot. I'm rather happy at how this episode turned out, and I hope you guys are too. I do hope you all enjoy the new interactions I'm writing out.
I actually really liked this challenge in Pahkitew. It was very adventurous and interactive. I like those sorts of challenges. And while I did like the switcheroo between Amy and Samey, I didn't like how it was executed, and I felt Samey got eliminated a lot earlier than she should've.
As for Amy, don't get me wrong, I hate how she treats Samey. But writing her was so much fun, and I especially liked writing her dynamic with Dave. Though at the end of the day, I felt like it would've been better for her to be booted early again like what happened in the original Pahkitew.
Anyways, stay fresh everyone! I'll see you in Episode 4!
