A ship parks into a bay and drops its back ramp down. Six figures walk out onto the dock stretching and yawning.

"You know, fighting an angel isn't all that hard, I don't see how you three struggle so hard with them," Akira yawned while stretching.

"Unlike you we have to pilot evangelions Dummkopf," Asuka said, a little peeved from Akira's ignorant comment.

"Wouldn't that make fighting the angels easier for us and Mr. Sato's job harder," Shinji Questioned.

Asuka blushed out of embarrassment and said "SHUT UP IDIOT!" and smacked Shinji on the back of the head.

"I don't know princess, it sounds like you're the idiot," Mari smugly said while walking onto the dock.

Asuka turnt around to look at Mari "Shut it four eyes," She said.

"Yeah that degree really is just a piece of paper," Akira jokes "Anyways I gotta go run errands, you two go to Misato's place after this and I'll come get you later."

"You're just leaving us like Mr. Kaji?" Asuka asked.

"I guess. NERV calls and I have to answer," Akira said, "Misato will keep you safe, isn't that right?"

Akira turns his head to see Toji and Kensuke worshipping misato while she's talking to the colonel "Isn't that right MISATO?" Akira yells.

"Huh? Yeah I'll keep them safe," Misato answers

"Yeah we don't trust Misato in a car, we'll just walk" Mari Says.

"Alright if you say so, ciao," Akira starts to walk off but turns around immediately, "Oh, Shinji one more thing"

"Yes?" Shinji says

"Don't call me Mr. Sato it makes me feel old," Akira puts two earbuds into his ears, takes out his Naruto manga, and walks off.

"Huh, Misato said the same thing," Shinji tells Asuka

Song- Peaceful times(3.0+1.0), Shiro Sagisu

In the slums of tokyo-3 a girl wakes up in her apartment and gets ready for the day. She takes a shower, brushes her teeth,washes her face, combs out her hair, puts some water in her teapot, and starts to pick out what she wants to wear.

/This is a lot harder now that I have more clothes outside of my uniform /

Finally after 10 minutes she finally picks out her outfit of white bra and panties, white socks, blue shoes, a white miniskirt, a blue shirt, a gray jacket, and a white hair clip. She hears the teapot whistle and goes to get it. But suddenly, she hears a knock on the door

/It must be Shinji and the others back from their trip to the Over the rainbow/

She walks to get the door instead and opens it expecting her friends, but instead finds a tall young man wearing a NERV uniform.

"Yo, Rei, how's it going?" he asked

Confused, Rei asks "Who are you?"

"Oh you don't remember me, probably because I met you years ago," the man says "Well I'm-"

He's cut off when Rei's fire alarm goes off due to the teapot burning up. Rei runs back to the stove and turns it off.

Sighing, Rei asks "Do you want tea?"

"I'd love to," The man says walking in.

Rei pours the man a cup of water, puts the teabag in the cup, and takes out the sugar cubes and honey

"Do you want cake?" She asked.

"Oh so you bake now."

"A friend taught me."

"Well cake sounds good, but I'm ok for now" The man states.

"Oh," Rei says, putting the strawberry cake back, "Well you never told me your name, so who are you?"

"I'm Akira Sato, NERV Germany's operations manager!" Akira exclaims "I actually started out as your guardian"

Rei takes a sip of her tea and says, "I don't remember you, perhaps it was when I was a baby,"

"Well you were about 9 and it was for just a week so that's probably why you don't remember," Akira states, "It's been 6 years and I was thinking we should catch up over Dinner" Akira finishes his tea.

Rei frowns and looks down into her empty tea cup,"I would love to but I have a synchronization test, so I'm afraid I have to turn your request down."

Akira puts down his teacup and with a smile on his face says, "Well you don't have to be there right now, do you?"

"No but that's not the po-,"

Akira holds out his hand, "Well let's go."

"A-alright," Rei say holding out her hand

Akira holds rei's hand and starts walking out of her apartment

"Wait I need to clean up our mess," Rei insisted

Akira scoffs and tells Rei, "Don't worry you can do it later."

"If you say so,"

Then Akira stopped, turned around with a confused look on his face and asked, "Uhhhhh, do you know where misato's apartment is?"

Rei with a confused look on her face says, "Apartment"

Song- Misato, Shiro Sagisu

"YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAH THAT'S THE STUFF," Misato screamed at the top of her lungs after drink in beer in one gulp

"I really missed this kind of environment," Mari says with a happy smile on her face

"Well I don't, especially Misato's messes," Asuka murmured, "But it is surprisingly clean around here."

"That's because shinji does all of the cleaning," Misato said with a slight slur.

Mari smirked and said, "So you have your own maid now miso?"

Shinji turns from the kitchen counter blushing and splurts,"I'm not a maid!"

The doorbell rings and misato slurred, "Shinji you mind getting th-the door?"

"Yeah I'll get it," Shinji says

"See, just like a maid," Asuka affirmed

Shinji opens the door to see Akira and Rei standing at the door, Holding hands.

"Hello Rei, hello Mr. Akira," Shinji greeted.

"Yo wassup Shinji! I went and picked up Rei so we could all have Done together," Akira states

"Well I was just cooking dinner for misato and pen-pen so you can come in and sit down until I'm done."

"Oh so you're the person Rei said taught her how to cook." Akira states with a smirk, "Well it sounds like your a really good friend to Rei"

Shinji blushes profusely and stammers,"I-it was n-nothing."

"Thank you again for that Shinji," Rei says while smiling

"YO SHINJI WHO'S AT THE DOOR?" Misato Yells.

"ITS REI AND Akira," Shinji yells

"Akira and who?" Asuka asks.

"Frosty has a girlfriend?" Mari asks.

Akira and Rei walk over to the table and sit down. Asuka and Mari at first have a stunned look on their face, but it soon turns into a quite angry look.

"YOU PERVERT YOUR GIRLFRIEND IS A KID?!" Asuka yells at the top of her lungs

"I expected better out Frosty," Mari says with a disapproving tone

Akira waves his hands in front of his faces and pleaded, "No no Rei isn't my girlfriend,"

"Then who is she?" Mari and Asuka speak at the same time.

"She's the first child, and the first kid I've taken care of," Akira states.

Mari and Asuka both look at each other and blush. And of a few minutes a moment of silence goes over the room

Then Shinji says, "All done, now where are we going for dinner?"

Akira devilishly smiles and claims, "I know a place,"

Song-When the tension breaks, Shiro Sagisu

Asuka looks up in disbelief and shouts, "WERE GOING TO A FAST FOOD JOINT?!"

"I said I know a place, never said it was fancy," Akira articulated, "Well welcome to an american chain restaurant, Five Guys."

"I think I've heard of this place before," Shinji murmured, "Toji talked about going to one of these places when he visited his aunt and uncle."

"Well I've been to this place plenty of times before when I lived in america, and let me tell you."

"It's not cheap at all" Akira says with a flat monotone voice

"This place looks like I would be called a Jap by a fat white person," Mari commented.

Rei and Akira both giggle at this joke.

"Well don't judge a book by its cover. I promise you'll love this place," Akira assures.

Everyone walks in and orders what they want, Shinji orders a little cheeseburger fries and lemonade, Mari orders a bacon cheeseburger fries and salted caramel milkshake, Rei orders a veggie grilled cheese sandwich fries and a fruit punch, Asuka orders a bacon cheeseburger cajun style fries and a strawberry milkshake, and Akira orders a cheeseburger cajun style fries and a strawberry milkshake.

When their food was delivered everybody immediately noticed Akira's eating habits. He ate with no concern of what people thought of him. It was stuffing food down his throat, almost literally.

Shinji finally speaks up and says, "Mr. Akira?"

"Hmmm," Akira said looking up from his food

"Don't you have anyyyy-"

Akira swallows hard and says, "Manners? Shinji let me tell you something. When you go without food for 2 months you start to really appreciate it."

Shinji looks at Mari and she says, "He told us this when we first went out to eat."

After everyone is done eating they go out of the restaurant and onto Nerv. Akira tells the pilots he has something to do here and they part ways.

A knock on the door is heard and the man says, "Come in."

Kicking open the door, Akira walks up to the commander's desk and says, "I'm back bitches, and with a new hairstyle and everything."

"I see, well you know your end of the deal has yet to be upheld."

Akira scoffs and contended, "Yeah I know but I haven't had a chance to do it. I need Shinji piloting and he has to be in a critical state of emotion too. "

Gendo adjusted his glasses and says, "I see, well we'll just have to wait until then"

"By the calculations I use shinji should be in a state like this on Sahaquiel, so I'll have my chance soon,"" Akira assurses

"If you say so, you are dismissed."

Akira walks out of the room, closing the door behind him.

"Are you sure he can be trusted?" Fuyutsuki ask

"No, but he can be controlled," Gendo states.

Kept you waiting huh. Well a good writer is always fashionably the party. So we have a little story and Akira even talks about a certain person to gendo. Sorry that Israfel wasn't in this chapter. Things change.

NEXT EPISODE OF 9th angel attacks Tokyo-3 but the evas are quickly subdue. So two pilots will have to learn how to work together in a week's time to defeat it. Will they be able to do it? will they fail trying to work together? And will we ever get a eva anima anime? Probably not but tune in next time for another episode of ICEBREAKERS. And there's going to be lots of fanservice.
