Originals summary
All these stories happen throughout season 1, most between episodes though I decided to make V and Kevs wedding episode happen over a month so Christmas and New Years happen during that though I've still written them as Chapters here. They are all just a little glimpse at Lucy and the Gallaghers lives, most a light hearted moment with a touch of drama that doesn't really effect how the season goes, it just adds to the families story. I am constantly adding more to each chapter as ideas arise so come back often. If you have any suggestions please let me know, especially for holiday ideas as I'll need those for next year as well.
Chapter 1 – a normal weekend
A light hearted look at a normal weekend for Lucy and the Gallaghers, normal by Gallagher standards anyway. Set between episode 1-2. After annoying Debbie Carl and
Lucy are told to get outside and entertain themselves. They go graffiti a building. Lucy stops by a motel to see an old friend and brings Jav home to stay the night. Fiona has Steve over and Lip has Karen over as well. Kev drops a drunk Frank home. The next morning Lucy wakes everyone up and shoed from bed to bed. Plans are made for a bbq which of course turns into a party.
Chapter 2 – Halloween
Lucy helps her friends with costumes, it's the first time some of them have ever dressed up. She and Carl cause trouble while at school but as Fiona's planning a big party they both get to go trick or treating still. Lucy the vampire, Debbie the nurse, Carl the monster, Liam the bear, Ian in cameo and Lip in a skeleton top all travel to a fancy neighbourhood so they can get as much candy as possible. Of course it's not just about the treats and tricks soon ensue.
Chapter 3 – Thanksgiving (after episode 4)
The siblings have breakfast together then Lucy goes shopping with V to get some groceries for thanksgiving. Fiona says she can invite Lee too. They are all given their tasks, Lucy helps the old neighbourhood ladies to cook their meals and gets the veggies, Ian and Carl help get a Turkey and chickens ready and get two chickens, Lip gets pies from Shelia and Debbie will help Fiona get ready. Lucy's task goes astray when Mrs Piotroski dies while driving to the shops and crashes the car with Lucy and Lee in it. Lucy is ok but Lee has a broken arm that needs surgery. Lucy keeps herself busy while waiting for Fiona to pick her up from the ER. Mrs Pitroskis family aren't please to find out a Gallagher was with her when the car accident happened.
Chapter 4 – to Mrs Beaufort
Steve has bought roast and Fiona puts on a nice dinner for everyone. The next day Lucy heads of to her piano lesson only to find her teacher and friend Mrs Beaufort dead. After seeking comfort from Fiona it comes out that Lucy has been taking lessons in secret, her old headstart teacher realised she had a talent and introduced her to her aunt, Mrs Beaufort. Mrs Beaufort isn't a fan of Franks and told Lucy not to tell anyone. When she started talking violin lessons with the music teacher at school she kept that a secret too.
Chapter 5 – Christmas (set while V and Kevs wedding episode is taking place)
Lucy knows Santa isn't real, Monica and Franks stunt last year proved it to her. Carl knows too but Debbie still insists she believes and Fiona says they have to play along. Every year they each buy a present for the house, and like always Carl hasn't bought anything yet. Debbie, Lucy and Cue, who is staying with them, try to help him find something. The days leading up to Christmas mean Fiona is Santa's helper though that doesn't end well, there's also Christmas light viewing, getting the tree and decorating the house, presents for friends, Christmas carols and movie watching. This year Shelia said she will host Christmas lunch.
Chapter 6 – new year (still set while v and Kevs wedding episode is taking place)
Coming soon but basic idea - Ian and Lip are looking forward to deans party and it looks like Lucy and her friends will be there too.
Chapter 7 - Em gets taken
Coming soon but basic idea - Lucy's friend shows up on her doorstep crying, dcfs tried to take her into foster care but she ran away. Lucy and her go on an adventure in the city. When they get home the police take Em away.
Chapter 8 - Liam's 1stbday
Coming soon, not much of an idea yet but Lucy has an audition to music school
Chapter 9 - Fi 21st
Coming soon, not much written yet but there will be a big party and probably some babbling from Frank.
