Chapter 54: Forest Raid Part 1

Izuku rushed towards the cave, praying that kid was alright. He could hear screams and other sounds somewhere far behind. To his relief, Izumi was hiding behind rocks and suppressing his urge to cry. Midoriya hugged the child to calm him down.

"Tsss, it's alright. I'll get you back safe and sound."

"*Sniff* Th... Thank AAAAAAAHHH!" Kota's tone shifted from stressed to terrified as he opened his eyes.

Green head's nape got pierced by something sharp.

"Good thing you didn't get hit in the brain, kid."

"The World." He said with the most irritated voice imaginable.

As time got stopped, Izuku let out a cry of pain, pulled the syringe from his neck and took a glance at the attacker. It was a girl with shade of hair similar to Kacchan, slightly pale skin, cat like eyes, sharp fangs visible through her happy smile and a strange device. The contraption seemed like it was designed to take blood and deliver it directly to her mouth.

"What the…? Another vampire?" Diavolo was surprised.

"Did that hobo turn her behind out backs?" Kira wondered.

"Unlikely. She probably has a similar looking mutation."

"She looks fun!" DIO sounded excited. "Reminds me of good times when I wasn't chained to goody two-shoes."

"I suppose she's one of the attackers. I think it'll be easier if I put the flesh bud real quick so she all the answers questions and doesn't try to run away."

Izuku broke the device, put the girl on the ground and sat on her stomach. Time was up.

"Ouie! Oh! Hi, Izu-kun!" Her tone wasn't much different from fan girls he met before.

"Hello, Miss?"

"Toga! Himiko Toga!" She tried to pull out a knife but her arms were restrained by the diver.

"I have to say, this isn't how I imagined our first date."

"Date?!" Midoriya didn't expect that response.

"Yes! Usually I take the initiative, but you are different. Wait! Your teeth and skin! They're just like mine! Oh my gosh! Our quirks must be similar! Do you want to make me bleed too?"

"Great. She's even crazier than that bunny bitch." Boss's annoyance was palpable.

"Usagiyama-san is a rabbit."

"That's not the fucking point!"

"Sorry, Misss Toga, but I need you to stay put for a bit." He pulled out a strand of hair and leaned closer to her face to begin the insertion.

"Hey! What are doing? It tickles!"

"I told you to stay put!"

"Stop! I'll… khhh" Her mouth was closed unceremoniously.

All Kota could see was Midoriya's back as he sat on Toga in a suggestive pose and did something that she clearly didn't like. A few more time stops later green head stood up and helped his new assistant get off the ground. He undid her buns to hide the parasite. They ran back towards the camp, Izumi in Izuku's arms.

"Best date ever!" Himiko talked as if nothing changed.

"Look, I need you to tell me how many villains are here and their exact goal."

"There are about 10 people and IDK how many of those Nomu things. Sorry, Izu-kun, I was too focused on finding you too keep track. We came here to capture you and that Ragdoll lady."

"Why us exactly?"

"No idea. Shigaraki, the man with extra hands, said it was about taking away your cheat items, of which you have three and she has one. Maybe it is a fancy cipher."

"I think his brain got molten by video games." Kota tried speaking from experience.

"Fuck! He was definitely talking about our stands."

"Just as we expected."

"How exactly were you going to capture us?"

"Plan A was using sleepy gas from that Mustard fellow; Plan B involved using your loved ones as bait: Inko Midoriya and Izumi Kota."

"What the Hell?" Izuku stopped and grabbed Himiko by her shoulders. "They've got my mother?"

"Mhm." She nodded. "She is such a nice lady. Shigaraki told me I could play with two of you once mission is over."

"I'll kill that bastard when I see him!"

"That's the spirit, my boy!"

"Wait a second! What's even the point of plan A?"

"He said that pausing cheat makes you dangerous and it's safer if you are unconscious."

"Touché."

"Deku!" Bakugo arrived using the power of explosions. "There you are. SHIT!" He aimed his hand at the girl. "Stay where you are or I…"

"It's fine, Kacchan." Green head showed him the flesh bud under her hair. "Listen, I need you to take these two back to the camp. Interrogate the girl and make sure you restrain her. The mind control agent will die if I change forms. Ragdoll used her quirk on me, so adults should find me quickly. Toga, follow his orders as if they were mine."

"Okie-dokie!" She mimicked a soldier's salute.

"What the hell are you thinking?"

"They've got my mom. If I don't hurry they might kill her."

"I'm going with you!"

"NO! Someone has to get these two to the base. Please, Kacchan!"

"Fine. Try not to die like a loser."

"Mi-Midoriya-san!" The child spoke up. "I'm sorry for being mean to you. I hope you can save your mommy."

"I hope so too, Kota-kun."

Toga showed her "lover" the direction towards the extraction point. Izuku used the self launching technique to gain speed.

Goto Imasuji was a simple man. He didn't care much about money or power. No, all he wanted from life was fighting and killing. When League of Villains approached him, he got ecstatic. A chance to murder heroes and students with little resistance doesn't come often. Sure, that brat Tomura told everyone to bring the targets alive, but everyone else was free game. He was hoping to run into Tiger or that Kirishima kid, or anyone else who could give him a fun fight.

Reality was disappointing. He was met by slender guy with capture tape as a weapon. He was one of the homeroom teachers from the briefing. Oh well, it's just a starter before the main dish. Muscular pumped up to activate his quirk to no avail.

"Shit! Guess I'll have to beat you…" He got grabbed by a scarf and lost conscience after a single punch to the head by his opponent.

Mustard always believed that he never got the respect he deserved. He was always a laughing stock among his peers. In an attempt to separate himself from the past failures, the kid completely abandoned his name in favor of the villain alias. He never believed all that slander portraying Stain as a coward. To him, the Hero Killer was an example, someone who showed that cruelty and conviction bring respect. For this reason, he gladly joined LOV's calling. The fact his quirk would be the cornerstone of capturing the targets was a big bonus. He was accompanied by several copies of himself and a Nomu to boot. In case someone happened to have a gas mask or resistance to his quirk, the villain had a gun to even the odds.

He almost shit his pants when seeing Snipe and Thirteen approach him. Why the hell were they even here? Boss told him that Vlad King, Eraserhead and Pussycats were the only heroes here. Those two not only had gas-proof suits by default, but their quirks countered him completely. Black Hole sucked up and destroyed the gas and the Nomu when it got too close. Every bullet fired at the duo was somehow got intercepted by the cowboy's own shots. Seriously, do his revolvers ever run out of ammo? Mustard tried running away, but a bullet to his knee put an end his adventure. His clones became useless after one shot as well.

Dabi was going to make Endeavor suffer. The first step would be killing his perfect project, his lucky draw after all the duds: Shoto Todoroki. The trees provided him with so much fuel that no hero would be able to stop his rampage, right? Wrong! Fate was never kind to him, but it was especially cruel today. Dabi's goal was to humiliate and kill the Number Two hero for his obsession with surpassing All Might. This goal was crushed when the man in question appeared out of nowhere, extinguishing all the flames with a hand clap and breaking his already sore body with a single "Smash!". Endeavor was right: Dabi could never hope to surpass All Might.
