"What just happened!?" Lemon yelled
"It seems like master managed to win. Well, you guys might as well give up, there's no way to win now." Brandish said
"No way! T-that guy was fighting Wahlberg and Master Makarov! He couldn't have won!" Lemon yelled
"But he did." Brandish deadpanned
The green haired girl looked around and noticed something weird… Mash had disappeared
"Hmm… That can be an issue." Brandish said… before shrugging "Well, not like it will matter."

Innocent floated in front of the two elderly mages, he had won, he got the two powerful magics he wished and he was about to end the life of Wahlberg, the only mage in this world that could be a possible problem for him
"It's sad really. You two tried so hard, and yet it all amounted to nothing. This is what supreme power allows you to do." Innocent smiled while pointing his wand at the two, using his magic to keep them airborne
"I couldn't beat him… I'm sorry Master, but he truly is the strongest mage in the world… I couldn't protect the weak like you wished…" Wahlberg closed his eyes, accepting his destiny
"Such overwhelming strength… It's even bigger than Gildarts… How can someone possess such power…" Makarov widened his eyes in shock
Two clock hands appeared in front of Innocent, being pointed directly at Makarov and Wahlberg's heads, Innocent smiled at them, already certain of their fate
"Goodbye." Innocent said the final words they'd ever hear
But suddenly, Innocent got kneed in the cheek, making both Wahlberg and Makarov gasp in shock. Innocent's face changed from his smile to a shocked expression as his spell got destroyed by the impact of the hit, with the time mage being sent flying away while the attacker was flying where he once was
"Impressive…" Innocent stopped himself in the air and glared at his attacker, some of his face having cubes pulsating before reforming back to normal "I should have expected that you'd interfere, Mash Burnedead."
It indeed was Mash Burnedead, who was kicking his feet back and forth incredibly fast to be able to maintain flight, looking at Innocent without much emotion on his face, as usual
"Mash! How did you find us?" Makarov yelled
"I just ran around until I found you guys. Couldn't find you anywhere on the ground, so then I tried the water, and then the air. And now I'm here." Mash said making the three of them just stare at him confused
"That's… It doesn't matter! Mash, you must not stay here! Innocent Zero is too strong for you!" Wahlberg yelled
"Mister Principal, do you remember that question from when I entered the school? What'd I do if I was face to face with overwhelming power?" Mash said, making Wahlberg widen his eyes "As I said before, I'd crush it with my fist."
Wahlberg couldn't believe what he was seeing, Mash was really about to fight against Innocent Zero, while Makarov simply smiled, that was just like Mash indeed. Mash looked at his "father" and by moving his feet downward ultra fast, causing a sonic boom that sent him flying towards Innocent
"Hmm." Innocent simply smiled at that action
Mash widened his eyes and moved his feet forward, causing another sonic boom that sent him back
"I felt something dangerous around him." Mash thought
"Smart choice. I've surrounded myself with Time magic, if you had come in contact with them your body would have rapidly aged until you turned into dust." Innocent explained, pointing his wand up and creating various snakes of darkness "And that would have been quite an issue for me since I still need you, so I'll be first destroying the two old men."
The snakes flew past Mash and went to go and hit the weakened Wahlberg and Makarov, making Mash move quickly and grab the two, moving them away from the attack
"Mash! Stop risking yourself and let me be, I'm useless without my magic." Wahlberg said while looking at Mash
"Even if you beg, he won't. That's just how he is." Makarov told Wahlberg, confusing the principal of Easton
"It's true. I can't just let you be in danger." Mash said while holding the two in his arms "My father taught me to be nice to my elders after all."
Wahlberg widened his eyes while Makarov smiled and shook his head
"I'm no different than an old man with problems crossing the street for him?" the two elders thought
"Nice reactions. I guess I can test out my new magic then." Innocent said, pointing his wand forward as the silhouette of a cube appeared "What was the name again? Oh yes, Spaces Sacrifice."
A massive beam of space erasing magic flew at them, making the three widen their eyes, but Mash managed to move to the side fast enough to dodge the attack, but various mountains that were behind them ended up being completely erased by that beam
"He really does have my magic…" Wahlberg widened his eyes
"Damn." Mash said while looking at the destruction
"And even with me his magic is stronger. You can't beat me, nor can you dodge forever." Innocent said making his wand float beside him "I'm ending this now. Begone. Do not worry Mash, you will survive this even though you're incapable of dodging it. But I can't say the same about your elderly friends."
Innocent smiled, putting his hands together and having a golden light appear between them making Makarov widen his eyes in terror
"He also got Fairy Law!?" Makarov yelled
"Indeed. It's over for you, with this legendary magic I'll be unstoppable! Disappear! Fairy L-" Innocent began but when he was about to cast his spell he felt a shock through his entire body, the entire right side of his face turning into cubes and trying to maintain himself together "Gahg!"
"Huh?" Mash blinked confused
"The magic power of all those magics is too much for his body to handle!" Wahlberg yelled, seeing as Innocent looked incredibly unstable
Innocent's spell ended up failing as he tried to remain afloat, gritting his teeth as a massive amount of pain shot through his body. Makarov could've sworn he saw the silhouette of a small blonde girl pushing Innocent down for a moment, what was that? It looked… Weirdly familiar.
"D-damn it… D-don't think this is over yet… Mash Burnedead, I'll come back for you… You're nothing, you're only an ingredient for my ascension…" Innocent said as he tried to maintain his body together
"That's nothing but your ego talking! Mash is his own person who chose the right way of life! You have no say on what he is or isn't!" Makarov yelled
"Yeah, I second that." Mash said
"Tsk… The r-right way of life!? Oh please… A human without magic will never be able to live like the ones with magic…" Innocent said making the three glare at him
"Oh yeah? Then I guess this is pretty convenient." Mash said confusing the two elders "In a world where magic is everything, the strongest person is the big nasty. That's more than enough reason for me to beat your magic with my muscles. When I do that, no one will be able to say anything about me or my friends."
"Tsk… I still need time to adjust my body… We will be meeting again…" Innocent said, disappearing into a crack in space while grabbing his wand "Well… assuming this doesn't get to you first."
Innocent then disappeared and in the city various of the ghouls began to fuse into each other, moving together while increasing in size, Mash, Wahlberg, and Makarov looked down and widened their eyes in shock

"Oops! Time to bounce!" Roru said, doing a backflip and boinging away into a portal
Tsurara and Natsu turned around in shock as they felt a massive magic power rising
"What is going on?" Tsurara asked in shock

Zuveta looked towards the massive magic pressure and sighed, a crack in space opening below here
"What a pain…" and so the elf girl disappeared into the crack
Gray and Juvia panted while looking at where Zuveta had turned, their eyes widening in total shock at that

"Aww, the fun is over. Well, whatever. I hope we meet again, puppet boy, because when we do I will be killing you." Naoki said and then disappeared at hyper speeds
Abel was going to try and chase her but he then felt a massive magic aura rising from far away, making him change his focus at the moment

Kagura glance to the side, feeling the cursed marks on her body pulsating harder with magic power, she then continued here walk, a crack in space appearing in front of her as she walked, taking her away. While Erza and Kaldo looked at the direction of the magic pressure with widened eyes.

Brandish looked to the side and sighed
"Well, you're all going to die." The green haired girl said before walking away
"What!? H-hey, wait, come back here!" Lemon yelled
But Brandish had already entered a crack in space and disappeared, Lemon growled slightly before turning to the side and gulping at the sight of a massive danger

At a more distant part of the city, give boys looked at a massive pressure that they felt
"That's our cue to leave!" Delisaster said
It was indeed the Devil's Quintuplets, they have been taking care of their own business up until now, and their time to do it has expired
"It was a good idea to keep him out of the game until now, with him around the things wouldn't be this dire for them." Domina said as a crack in space appeared in front of them
"Not sure why we were here too, Doom on his own could have taken him down." Epidem said, taking a bite of his pudding
"I wanted to participate." Famin said with a smile
"If it was only me this would have been more destructive. With the five of us we managed to be more discreet about it." Doom said walking into the crack with his brothers
And on the ground behind them, beaten in bloody, was Ryoh, the light cane, they had come there to ensure he wouldn't have been able to come to the tournament

Everyone turned to where the massive pressure was coming from and saw a massive creature with more than a hundred heads and massive chains keeping it's body together, tall enough to stand above the clouds, and staring down the entire city. The creature then let out a massive roar
"What is that!?" Dot screamed
"The size of that thing… And with that power, it can destroy the entire city in an instant!" Levy yelled
And at that exact moment, time began to move again, making various civilians look around confused… until they noticed the massive monster looming over the city
"WHAT IS THAT!?"
"IT'S COMING THIS WAY!"
The civilians started panicking while the monster took a step forward, putting his fist down and then quickly moving it up, sending a massive storm of boulders flying towards the city
"The rocks!" a civilian screamed
"LAAAAAANCE!" The disembodied voice of a little girl called for their savior
"Graviole!"
The rocks then stopped mid air thanks to a gravitational force, the word "Pulverize" being shot at them right after and causing them to be reduced to dust
"This is a big problem…" Sophina frowned
"You're always there when I need you, Anna." Lance smiled while looking up
"What was up with the disembodied voice?" Love and Dot blinked at the same time
"Oh whatever! Time to destroy whatever that thing is!" Dot yelled
"Nope, my turn! Tornegus!" Love yelled and blasted a massive tornado at the monster
"Oi!" Dot screamed at him having his spotlight stolen
The tornado flew at the monster, only for a magic barrier to appear in front of it when the tornado got close
"Huh? Where did that barrier come from?" Love blinked confused
"Want me to give it a try?" Dot asked
"Shut up!" Love screeched
"A magic canceling barrier." Sophina said, stoping their bickering "There has to be another magic user controlling that, until we take care of him magic will prove itself ineffective against that thing."
Sophina looked around trying to find a way to communicate that to everyone
"Is there anyone in your guild that can send messages to people?" Sophina asked
"There's Mest, he can." Lance told her
Sophina then looked at the first random person she could identify without a mark and pointed at them
"You. Are you Mest?" Sophina asked
"Yes, ma'am!" Mest yelled
"Good, send this message to everyone you can. There is a magic user using magic barriers to cancel our magic so we can't attack the creature. Looking for him and beating him quickly is our only way to save the city." Sophina said before running off
"Got it!" Mest said, he didn't know if he could trust her but he didn't really have a choice right now
The members of Fairy Tail got the psychic message from Mest and began to run around trying to find where that person was, the Divine Visionaries managed to understand the context of the situation pretty quick and helped out the best they could, and at every second they were taking the creature was just getting closer and closer
"Where the hell is this guy!?" Natsu screamed as he ran through the streets of the city
And the monster got even closer
"We're not going to find him in time!" Lucy yelled panicking a lot
And so the monster managed to get close enough, raising it's fist and moving quickly to destroy the entire city
"IT'S OVER!" A civilian screamed while putting their hand on their head to protect themselves
All of the mages looked at the monster with wide eyes, did they really fail at that moment? Well, they would have if the monster hadn't suddenly stopped, making everyone confused
"It stopped…?" a civilian asked confused
The monster seemed to be struggling to continue moving to deliver their finishing blow, trying to use all their strength to continue to move
"It's being held back by something!" Erza said while widening her eyes
"Wait isn't that…" Lemon asked while squinting to look in that direction
Sophina used a spell to make a screen for them to see who it was, and it turned out to be…
"MASH BURNEDEAD!?"
It was indeed him, he was holding the chain of the giant with all of the strength he could mister, cracking it while pulling him back to get him away, but the monster also ended up noticing him, grabbing the chain and trying to pull back at it
"He's playing tug of war with it!" Love yelled
"And they seem to be evenly matched…" Lance said
They all watched impressed as both Mash and the monster managed to keep up with each other in pure strength, however the civilians didn't seem to know what to do…
"I mean… He can't use magic, should we really leave this to him?"
"Imagine him at the top…"
"There's no way someone like him can do it…"
"Yeah, how could he even…"
But then a massive roar from the creature shut them all up, making them widen their eyes as Mash held the chain tighter, cracking it more as blood spilt from his hands, various veins in his arms popping as he tried to pull the chain and overpower the monster
"...Does it even matter?" A civilian said "Does it matter that he can't use magic? He is still trying to save all of us…"
They all stared at their situation, seeing how hard Mash was working to protect them, to save them all, even though they all treat him like shit…
"You can do it…" the civilians actually began to cheer for Mash
"You can do it!"
"Go Mash! You can do it!"
"...If I wasn't seeing it with my own eyes I wouldn't believe it." Finn thought in complete shock "Mash was always a pariah at school, always at the verge of being expelled… In a world where magic is everything, Mash, who can't use magic… Is changing the rules of society itself!"
"HANG IN THERE!"
"YOU CAN DO IT!"
"I BELIEVE IN YOU!"
"YOU CAN DO IT, MASH BURNEDEAD!"

Even the people watching from Earthland began to cheer for him
"Come on, Mash!" Olore cheered for him
"You got this." Anser nodded
"Go Go Go!" Sherry yelled
"Go mushroom head!" Toby yelled
"Humph, get him." Yuka said
"You're part of Fairy Tail, the guild who managed to defeat me. Of course you can do this." Lyon smirked

"Tsk… You can do it." Wirth crossed his arms
"Go Mash Burnedead!" Shuen yelled

Mash was trembling in place, using all the strength he had to hold onto that chain, hearing the cheers for him even from far away
"G-g-go…!" Tsurara also ended up cracking to it, cheering for him
"Save the city, Mushroom Head!" Renatus screamed
"You're the only hope left for the city, win, Mash Burnedead." Sophina said
"Haha… I was right in trusting your strength, Mash…" Kaldo smirked
Tyrone and Orter didn't say anything, they simply gave the situation a quick glance
"...Go, Mash." Rayne said while nodding
"Mash…" the entire of Fairy Tail, Finn, Lucy, Mira, Erza, Elfman, Natsu, Juvia, Gajeel, Lemon, Love, Dot, Lance, literally everyone who came along, rose high, looking at one of their members and then screaming at the top of their lungs "YOU CAN DO IT!"
Mash then widened his eyes and nodded, all of the veins in his body popping as he pulled the massive creature from its feet, throwing it into the skies as he spun it around by the chain, and with a final grunt, throwing the creature away, sending it to the depths of space for it to never be seen again, with Mash panting
The cheers of the city could be heard from there, making him turn slowly towards them surprised, they all actually were cheering for him, this world, where the ones without magic are treated as nothing… were cheering for the one who didn't have any magic…
hey guys, shorter chapter this time because collegue has been fucking my ass this month, at least tomorrow is my birthday so thats nice. I had more planned for this chapter but thanks to this I couldn't put it all on time, so that's why this is only part 1
