"The Battle for Fairy Tail starts now!" Laxus laughed with a crazy smile
Laxus had appeared in the middle of the Miss Fairy Tail contest and kidnapped almost all the girls of the guild, with his lackeys, the Thunder Legion, right behind him to help. The entire guild was looking at him with an angry look in their eyes, well… Everyone except…
"Alright!" Natsu screamed, blasting a torrent of flames up, destroying a poor random table in the process, smiling while looking at Natsu "Now this is a festival! I'm all fired up!"
Everyone turned to Natsu with a confused look on their face. Was he… happy with this? They all knew Natsu was very battle hungry but this was insane! His friends were in mortal danger!
"Natsu…" Finn said in shock
"Oh Natsu, your arrogant way of talking always pissed me off." Laxus laughed
"What are you saying?" Makarov looked at Natsu
"Come on, it's a festival, old man!" Natsu said as he hit his fists together and charged at Laxus "So let's start this!"
"Have you forgotten that you're facing Laxus!?" Lance yelled at him
"That ain't a problem! He has only beaten me when I was a little kid!" Natsu yelled
"He beat you last year!" Warren yelled
"And last year I was still a little kid!" Natsu yelled back
"But, this way of acting you have, pisses me off even more." Laxus said as Natsu jumped at him to hit him with a flaming punch "How about you calm down?"
And then Laxus blasted Natsu away with a burst of lightning, frying him up and leaving him laid out on the floor completely fried
"Natsu!" Dot yelled in shock
"You barely survived…" Happy said
"Don't worry, we aren't heartless like you think. If you want them to be free, just come and defeat us." Evergreen explained
"It should be easy for you, after all you guys have the numbers advantage." Milo said
"It's totally not fair for us!" Bickslow said
"Not fair! Not fair! Not fair!" His small puppets repeated
"You have three hours to do so. After that, the statues will be turned to dust." Evergreen pushed her glasses up after saying that
"What!?" Max yelled
"Laxus…" Makarov growled
"The battlefield is the entire city of Magnolia. The fights will begin when you find us." Freed finished the explanation
"Don't you mess with us! Laxus, how dare you!" Makarov screamed, turning into his giant form
"Calm down. Just enjoy the show, old man." Laxus smirked and snapped his fingers
And so, a massive burst of light erupted from them, causing everyone in the guild to cover their eyes
"Too bright…" Mash said as he covered his face
"Ghg!" Makarov grunted with his eyes closed
"Aah! My rage has blinded me!" Love screamed as she covered her eyes
And so, the five traitorous mages disappeared, leaving the members of the guild standing there in shock while they looked at where they once stood
"They're gone…" Finn said
"Are they planning on hiding in the city like this is some kind of game?" Abyss questioned in anger
"They act like a bunch of uncute rats!" Love stomped her foot while gritting her teeth
"Those unforgivable…" Makarov grit his teeth
"Bastards!" Elfman screamed as he ran off, various people following him "Lets go! We have to save my sister and the other girls!"
"Yeah! Let's kick their asses!" Dot screamed as he ran along with them
"We'll teach them what happens when they betray us." Lance said
"For our friends!" Lemon screamed as if she was the leader of a revolution
"Bisca… Don't worry, I'll save you." Alzack looked at the statue of Bisca and ran off
The entire guild was running off to fight actually, if Laxus wanted a challenge he was going to get it! And they were all gunning to get him in specific
"When I catch him I swear…!" Makarov yelled as he ran off the guild…
Or he would have if he didn't hit some kind of invisible wall, stopping on his tracks confused
"What are you doing, geezer!?" Gray yelled confused "It isn't time for games!"
"I can't get out! There seems to be some kind of invisible wall here!" Makarov told Gray
"What!? No there isn't!" Gray said, getting out of the guild just fine
"Let's get Laxus." Mash's monotone voice was heard coming through
Only for him to also go face first into an invisible wall, being stopped in his tracks
"Mash!?" Finn yelled confused
"Can't walk through…" Mash said, trying to push through but failing
"Huh!? Even Mash!?" Gray was even more confused now
Finn tried to pull Mash out of the guild but he wasn't managing to, until he looked up and saw something weird
"Wait, look! There's words in the air!" Finn pointed out
The rest of the people there looked up too, widening their eyes for a moment
"That's Freed's Jutsu Shiki!" Makarov yelled
"His what?" Gray asked
"Like, ninja stuff?" Mash questioned
"No, it's a type of barrier magic in a way. It traps everyone who steps in the circle and those who step in are forced to obey the rules put on the barrier." Makarov explained
"And they can't even be detected, that's a dangerous magic…" Finn said as he tried to figure out the rule for that barrier
"It says, 'No statue, person over 80 years old or person without magic is allowed to get out'!" Makarov said
"What kind of unreasonable rule is that!?" Gray yelled
"It's the prejudice wall." Mash said
"This type of magic takes a lot of time to set up so it isn't very practical in combat, but it is a very useful trap." Makarov said with a frown
"The reason you can't get out it's because of this lame spell? Can't you two just break it?" Gray asked
"It's impossible, even for someone like Mash. It's a rule, and absolute, not even the strongest mages can break this type of stuff." Makarov explained
Mash looked at the barrier and then punched it, starting to shake thanks to the impact
"C-c-c-can't b-b-b-break i-i-i-it." Mash said while shaking
Finn tried to use his magic to teleport them out but it didn't work, his spell didn't even seem to come out. The barrier was so strong it even had a magic cancelation effect!? That's actually terrifying!
"I also can't get them out with my teleportation magic…" Finn said while looking down "They planned to keep Makarov and Mash in here from the start. That's a smart play, I'll admit."
"Well, if it comes down to it, you can leave it to me." Gray said as he walked off
"Gray!" Makarov yelled
"I won't forgive him even if he is your son, Master. If it's needed, I'll kill him." Gray said
Finn gulped when he heard Gray say that, this situation was really serious. He looked at Makarov and then gave off a nervous smile
"H-hey, I'm sure we can get some sense into his head before that extreme is needed! And don't worry, I'm sure there's a way to get you guys out! I'll go and find it!" Finn said, running off into the city too
The two were now left in the guild, everyone else going to try and fight to save it, while they were just left without being able to do anything
"Laxus… What were you thinking?" Makarov thought "Even if he is an absolute idiot, he is still absurdly strong… Can anyone here even beat him? Maybe Erza but in her current state… Or Mash but he also is incapable of fighting him right now…"
Makarov thought as he looked around, Erza was a statue at the moment so she couldn't fight, and Mash was stuck in the guild with him. Mash seemed to be threatening the letters in the barrier to let them out, with them transforming into "okay, you can go." only for Mash to hit the barrier face first when he tried to leave, the letters then becoming "Lol, just kidding!". Makarov sighed, before he noticed someone else in the guild, hiding behind something
"Reedus!" Makarov said
"Sorry… I'm scared of Laxus…" Reedus said
"It's okay, but do you know where Porlyusica's house is? In the forest?" Makarov him
"I do…"
"She might be able to cure the petrification! Go there and get her, just in case." Makarov asked
"Yes sir!" Reedus responded
Only for Natsu to immediately wake up from his fried up sleep
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" And screaming
"Good morning." Mash said
"He woke up!" Happy said
"Where's Laxus!? Where is everyone!?" Natsu yelled while he got up "The hell happened, gramps!?"
"Wait… that's it! He might be able to…" Makarov widened his eyes slightly before pointing at the exit "The festival began! Laxus is in the town! Crush him, Natsu!"
"Oh hell yeah!" Natsu yelled as he ran off
…only to hit the barrier head first, making everyone watching confused
"The hell is this?" Natsu asked trying to push through
"...I didn't know Natsu was that old." Mash said
"WHAT!?" Reedus and Makarov screamed in shock

Love was running through the streets of Magnolia, trying to find where these Thunder Legion guys could be hiding, especially Milo! She has a personal score to set with him!
"Where is that damn green haired idiot!" The cute mage said as she looked around
She jumped on top of a building, trying to get a better view from there, only to look at one of the streets and see Jet, Droy and Alzack being trapped inside of a barrier
"What the… 'Only the strongest mage may leave'? What's this?" Love questioned

"Why can't I leave!?" Natsu screamed in confusion
Natsu was punching and kicking the barrier to try and break through it, gritting his teeth in pure anger
"Are you secretly a statue, Natsu?" Mash asked
"Of course not!"
Their efforts were stopped when a new set of words appeared in the air for them, it read…
"Fairy Tail's Realtime Fight Report?" Makarov looked confused
Until the words Jey vs Droy vs Alzack appeared along with those, making Makarov widen his eyes
"What the hell!?" Makarov screamed
"They were supposed to fight Laxus and his friends, not each other." Mash blinked
"Why did they fight?" Natsu asked
And then, another set of words appeared. Winner: Alzack. Jet and Droy have been knocked out.
Makarov widened his eyes in shock while Natsu and Mash only stared at that not knowing how to react

Love watched the entire thing, sweating a little as she saw Alzack walking out of the barrier, his hat covering his eyes
"I'm sorry…" Alzack said "But I must sabe Bisca…"
"They are forcing us to fight each other…" Love realized
She put a finger on her mouth and began to think. This would complicate stuff for her if she ended up being caught in one of those, especially if she ended up going against someone super strong… But she wasn't able to keep thinking about what would happen if she was caught, because she ended up being caught right now! A barrier forming around the roof as she turned around and saw Warren there with her
"Oh, God dammit…" Love deadpanned
Only the strongest mage may leave!

Lance flew back using his gravity magic, dodging the civilians that were just trying to have a normal lunch before he landed on top of a building
"Oi! Can't you guys chill!?" One of the civilians yelled
"Yeah! We are trying to eat!"
"The civilians?" Lance raised an eyebrow looking at that "I suppose those barriers only affect mages. At least they aren't completely heartless to put innocent civilians in the middle of this."
Lance then noticed something coming from his side and ducked using his gravity to get himself some distance between him and his attacker
"Lance! I'd much rather not fight you, but for me to be able to get to Laxus, I must win!" Nab, a tall black man with black hair and tribal clothing, said
"Tsk, I could say the same to you." Lance said, raising his wand at him
Nab then charged at the gravity mage, making Lance use his gravity to propel himself to the side, dodging a punch from him
"Wolf the Fist!" Nab yelled, using his animal possession magic to have a blue wolf soul like aura around his fists as he tried to attack Lance
But the boy managed to keep on dodging every hit, analysing his fighting style until he was at the edge of the roof
"You can't run away anymore! Bear the Knuckle!" Nab yelled as his entire arm was covered in a red bear soul and he threw a punch at Lance
"Maximum Output, Repulsion." Lance said as he pointed two fingers at Nab before the attack connected, blasting a gravity beam at him that blew him back, making him fly off the roof, Lance then pointed his wand down "Graviole."
A massive gravity beam fell onto Nab, pushing him down and making him hit the ground with immense force, knocking him out
"Tsk…" Lance didn't really have a reaction to that, he just flew away using his Zero Gravity

Lemon was also caught in one of these fights, being forced to fight a man in a dancer outfit, that was Vijeeter, who was dancing around her and jumping around the buildings
"So fast!" Lemon said as she looked around in shock
"Fighting against my own guild mates it's something I hate to do, but if it's to save my friends lives, I have no option but to go through." Vijeeter said as he did a backflip off a building to try and hit Lemon upside the head
Only for puffy to come out of her hat and spit silk at him, grabbing a hold of his leg and swinging him at a wall, making him grunt in pain
"I feel the same way! Lucy, Levy and the others are in mortal danger, and instead of being able to help we are being forced to fight each other! This is so… annoying!" Lemon said as she grit her teeth, this was horrible! She still can't understand why Laxus is doing all of this
Vijeeter sharpened his look as he tried to go back on the offensive, only for Lemon's Cerberus to come from the side and swipe his claws at him, making the dancer mage jump back to dodge the attack, giving enough time for Lemon to point her wand at him
"Levios Cuffus!" Lemon yelled, and so Vijeeter's arms and legs were cuffed together, making him widen his eyes "Spot! Get him!"
The middle head of the Cerberus barked and then blasted purple lightning at him, hitting the dancer mage head on and knocking him out, making him fall on the ground fried up, with Lemon walking up to him with a sorrowful expression
"I'm sorry for this, I promise to make it up to you in the future." She did a small bow before running and getting on top of her Cerberus, riding him through the city

At the guild, the three were watching the real time fight report, watching as the names of the fights appeared
Love vs Warren. Winner: Love
Lance vs Nab. Winner: Lance
Lemon vs Vijeener. Winner: Lemon
Macao vs Wakaba. Battle commence
"Weird how the three winners this time all start with the letter L." Mash pointed out
"Stop this you fools! Stop fighting each other!" Makarov yelled as he saw how many people were fighting
"So there are Jutsu Shikis all around the town, and the ones who are caught are forced to fight each other." A female voice said, making Makarov and Mash turn around and see Meliadoul sitting on a table and sipping some tea "So that's what he meant by the Battle of Fairy Tail."
"Wasn't it 'for Fairy Tail'?" Mash said
"Why are you here?" Makarov questioned
"Oh, don't worry, I sent Ochoa to help. I'm staying here to make sure no surprise attacks come and hurt your friends." Meliadoul explained with a smile
"So you can get through the barrier?" Mash asked
"Of course I can. Why wouldn't I be able to? That's a stupid question. Never ask that again." Meliadoul said with a cute smile on her face but emanating a massive amount of killing intent
"Okay." Mash was terrified, even if he still had his stone cold face
"Grrrr! I wanna join! Damn this stupid wall!" Natsu growled as he tried to get out
"How would joining in help, fool!?" Makarov asked as he stretched his hand and pulled Natsu away from the barrier
"Because this is like a tournament to find out who's the strongest! I wanna go out there and be a part of it! And then I can even fight Mash and Laxus!" Natsu said excited
"This isn't a tournament… Comrades being forced to fight one another…" Makarov said
"I mean, we fight all the time. It's still just in good fun. It's normal for us." Natsu said
"He got you there." Mash said
"What part of this is normal!? There's a difference between our normal bar fights and this! Our friends' lives are in danger! No one is even able to even think straight!" Makarov yelled before he looked down "At this rate, everyone who is petrified will be turned to dust…"
"What? Come on, not even Laxus would do something like that." Natsu smiled at Makarov, making him look at him surprised "Yeah, he can be a jackass sometimes, but he's still our friend."
"Natsu…" Makarov said
"Now I need to find a way to get out, this is a festival and I don't want to be left out!" Natsu said trying to push through the barrier
"I can get through just fine." Happy said as he flew out of the guild
"Maybe you are older than eighty years old and don't know." Mash said
"That sounds dumb." Natsu said
"Even still, you still think that Laxus is your friend? That he wouldn't go that far…?" Makarov thought while looking down "Still…"
"Oh, Love found one of the Thunder Legion guys." Mash said, making Makarov look up and see in the barrier…
Love vs Milo. Battle commence

Love was running through the town until she ended up at the library, and right at the front door was her target. She glared at him and walked up to him
"So you came." Milo said
"Of course I did. And it's just like you to be at the library." Love said as she put a hand on her hip
Milo didn't say anything, he simply looked at her
"So? Aren't you going to explain yourself? Why you just decided to betray the group like that?" Love asked
"As if you are one to judge my choices." Milo said, making a vein pop out of Love's forehead
"Huh!?" Love glared at him
"Don't you remember? Everytime things look difficult you simply betray your current group and join the winning team. You're as much of a traitor as I am. I bet you'll do the same here when we start winning." Milo explained
"T-that's… I'm not like that anymore…" Love grit her teeth
"Really? Am I supposed to believe that? You even left me behind for that blonde. Lucy suddenly became your new best friend all of a sudden." Milo frowned "When something that interests you more appears, you leave whatever you had before behind for it."
Love was getting even angrier at him, but Milo decided to continue
"So I decided to take a page out of your book. I decided to join the winning side." Milo said, lifting his wand up a little
"Oh, really? And how did you get Laxus to accept you?" Love questioned, sound really strained
"Let's just say… Back home, I got a little boost. And also, I had valuable information against every single one of the people of our world." Milo told her
Love let out a sigh, pulling out her wand and spinning it in her hand
"Did I anger the cheerleader?" Milo mocked
"Haha, very funny. If it's like that, how about you give me a B, give me a T, give me a F, give me an O, give me an O, and give me a Y." Love said and then gripped her wand with a lot of strength
"BTFOOY?" Milo was confused, that didn't sound like a word
"It stands for 'Beat the fuck out of you'!" Love grinned and then used wind magic on her feet to boost herself at him
Milo blinked and a stone wall rose up to protect him, but Love reacted fast and flew up, pointing her wand at him
"Torne-" the cute wind mage tried to use her spell but a stone hand grabbed her out of nowhere
"Stonehenge Hand." Milo said before the stone hand threw Love against the ground
The pink haired girl screamed in pain before a stone pillar rose from the ground and slammed against her stomach, sending her up before another stone hand punched her back down, making her bounce on the ground while screaming
"Pathetic." Milo said
But Love still didn't give up, she shook her head and charged at him once again, blasting tornados from her feet to go at him, creating a smokescreen to cover her actions, she smirked as she then charged at him from the opposite direction, covering her feet in wind magic
"Tornado Kick!"
But her attack was stopped by a stone hand, making her widen her eyes in shock
"Stone Edge."
Before the ground below her rose up with various stone spikes, making her widen her eyes in shock before she blasted a tornado down to boost herself up to dodge the attack
"What the hell!? It's almost like he can perfectly predict what I'm going to do…" Love frowned as she looked down
Milo didn't even move from where he began, looking around without a single worry, Love pointed her wand down and blasted a Tornegus at him, only for a stone hand to appear above him and block the attack easily before a pillar rose from the palm of the hand and hit Love right in the stomach
"GAHG!" Love yelled in pain
The pillar then grew smaller hands that grabbed Love and threw her down, but before she hit the ground, she used her wind magic to propel herself forward and do a spin in the air
"Okay, this is some stupid unfair thing!" Love was getting very angry at the current fight "Can he see the future or something!?"
Milo then moved his wand slightly, a stone pillar rising from the earth below Love, but she reacted quickly, doing a summersault and dodging it, only for a small stone hand to hit her in the back and throw her on the ground
"This is a load of uncute bull!" Love grumbled as she got up again
"Frustrating, isn't it? To have all of your talent rendered useless." Milo said as he turned to her
"Yeah, mock me as much as you want. It won't change the fact that I'm gonna win this in the end!" Love grit her teeth
"Wrong, I'm winning this fight. It seems you aren't familiar with the power of a Master Cane." Milo told her making Love widen her eyes
"A Master Cane!?"
"Yes. For you see, when we were on our trip back to our home world, and in the middle of the attack, a hooded figure came to me and said that I was chosen. Chosen by one of the Master Canes. I never once tried to get one, but it seems one of them managed to find its way to me. It seemed suspicious how that happened right at the time of Innocent's invasion, but it raised my power by quite a bit, so I paid it no mind." Milo explained
"Oh yeah! Damn, I forgot you were there with us…" Love said
"Exactly. I'm just forgotten. Thrown to the side. I'm supposed to be a prodigy, a genius. But instead, here I am, being outclassed by everyone I find… I'm strong! I'm not supposed to be treated like this! And now with this new power, I can show you all that I have a presence! I'm not some random person in the background! I'm Milo Genius! A prodigy on the same level as the strongest mages!" Milo said, getting actually heated
Love widened her eyes and took a step back, she never knew Milo actually felt that way… That actually bothered her a little… She didn't really understand why, normally this type of stuff doesn't get a reaction from her but… she was actually feeling kinda bad
"Now, prepare to be defeated by the power of the Prediction Cane! It allows me to see five seconds into the future. You have zero chance of victory against such power." Milo told her
Love then had a small lightbulb appear at the top of her head. Okay, that explained how he was predicting everything she did, but now she needed a way to counter that, but how?
"Stone Edge." Milo said, making spikes rise up from the floor
Love widened her eyes and flew to the side, dodging the spikes
"Stone Blast."
But then a wall of stone rose up and various stone spikes began to be shot at Love, making her widen her eyes as she began to try and move her body to dodge the spikes, she managed to do it due to her being quite flexible herself, but one of the spikes managed to stab through her thigh, making her scream in pain and fall on the ground
"Stone Explosion." Milo said making Love's eyes widen in terror
The spike on Love's thigh then explode into various small spikes, making her scream even more, her leg basically ruined thanks to that, various small shards of rock coming out of the inside of her leg and a hole where the spike once was
"It's over already. You cannot win with your leg like that. You're weak." Milo told her
"S-shut up… I-I can still… Keep going…" Love grit her teeth, trying to get up but her leg couldn't keep up, making her fall again
"You can stop with the charade. Just change sides again and we'll take care of your leg while you rest." Milo said
"I won't!" Love yelled
"This is so dumb." Milo sighed "Why would you not want to continue on their side even though you are about to be defeated? This isn't like you-"
"BECAUSE THEY'RE MY FRIENDS!" Love screamed at him, making Milo's eyebrows rise up for a second "They are my friends! Lucy protected me when I was about to die! She showed me that this place actually cares for me, it made me feel weird with all of these feelings that I still don't understand, but one thing I know is that someone that protects me at the cost of themselves is someone that I can call my friend! And I'll be damned if I make them hate me!"
Milo widened his eyes in shock. This was new, Love was never like this. She mostly just thinks about herself and nothing else, her actually caring about other people sounded completely stupid… So why was she actually doing it!?
Some winds began to stir up from under her, the normal green color of them turning darker as her anger flared up, her hair raising up as she not got her storm winds back
"What!? What's this!?" Milo widened his eyes in shock
"Oh yeah, you didn't know. This is something I got at Tower of Heaven, you may call it…" Love smirked as the storm winds went around her leg, allowing her to stand up by working as a form of support for it "Love Storm!"
"That's… a stupid name." Milo said but then a vision came, making him gasp and jump to the side
And then a dark tornado blasted where he was, missing him by a hair, making his hat fly off
"Tsk…"
"Ha, who would have thought that I'd surprise someone with future sight. But then, tell me…" Love said as more winds gathered around her legs "Am I still weak?"
Milo had another vision, but he couldn't react in time, Love had already dashed at him and punched him in the stomach the moment the vision came, blasting him up with a massive tornado rising along with him
"Storm Punch!" Love yelled
Milo widened his eyes in shock. How!? He got a massive power up from that Master Cane, but he still wasn't strong enough!?
"This is illogical… I will not let this pass!" Milo yelled, spinning his wand and pointing it down "Stonehenge Slide!"
A massive amount of rocked then appeared in the air, raising down on Love, who widened her eyes for a moment before she then jumped and began to spin
"Storm Shield!" Love yelled as a massive barrier of storm winds spun around her
The rocks that tried to hit her ended up hitting the barrier, being deflected back at him, making him grit his teeth as he dodged all of them already knowing where they were going to hit
"This is impossible! I can predict her movements but I'm not fast enough to react to them!" Milo thought in shock gritting his teeth as Love flew right above him
"You see it now!? This is what happens when you threaten to kill my cute sister!" Love yelled at him
"You're not even related!" Milo yelled back
The two spun their wands around and pointed at each other
"Tornegus Secondth: Sky Ripping Draconic Roar!"
"Stonehenge Secondth: Stone Golem!"
The two yelled at the same time, behind Milo a massive gargoyle made of stone formed, being different from the last time he used this spell thanks to his massive increase in power, the red eyes of the gargoyle glowed, while behind Love a massive dragon made of wind was formed, the full body of one this time, the two beasts roared at each other before the gargoyle charged to attack them and the dragon began to blast a massive tornado from its mouth, hitting the gargoyle head on
"Damn it!" Milo yelled, widening his eyes as he saw cracks forming in his gargoyle "How!? How can I be surpassed even by Love!?"
Milo didn't understand, he was a prodigy! He was supposed to be the best by default!
The gargoyle then ended up being completely destroyed, making Milo widen his eyes while Love flew right past the rubble, Milo having a vision of the girl right above him, with her smiling at him
"I win!" Love yelled and punched Milo square in the face "Storm Punch!"
And so a massive tornado was blasted from her arm, throwing Milo against the ground and causing a massive explosion of winds, as Milo now laid back first in the ground, unable to continue fighting, while Love flew down, panting exhausted while her dragon disappeared

"Wow! She got a win! Way to go!" Natsu yelled "This just makes me want to go in more and more!"
Makarov sighed in relief, at least one of the people who did this got defeated, but still, things looked way too bleak. They had less than half of the total mages in Fairy Tail up… And all because of people fighting one another…
"Oh, looks like Love is fighting again…" Mash said

Love looked at Milo on the ground, seeing the face of pure shock on him, but his body unable to move due to the damages he took
"I… I don't understand… How could I lose…? After everything…" Milo mumbled
Love sat down, continuing to look at him without saying anything, before she sighed
"Did you ever train?" The cute mage asked
"What?"
"Did you ever train? Did you ever have to work for the power you have?" Love reiterated her question "That's kind of how I'm managing to use this storm magic, when I first got it I could only use it for big bursts of wind, but now I got it more controlled and can even use it as small parts of armor like on my leg. And I still have other things to get mastered. But how about you?"
"N-no… I was always the best at what I did… I never had to try doing anything…" Milo said
"And so you stagnated." Love said
"I… what?"
"You got stuck on that level. You're a prodigy, yeah, but you still have to try and get better with that talent you have. You don't do anything to try and get better, you simply do what you're already good at. Not even the spells you used against me were that different." Love explained
"Since when do you know that much…?" Milo questioned
"I changed, man." Love said "The people here, they're a lot nicer than the ones back home. Honestly, the only person I ever thought actually liked me was my dad."
"Well… You're not wrong there… Things are… Less harsh here…" Milo admitted
"I know, right?" Love smiled, making Milo glance at her for a moment "...Do you remember when we first met?"
"When you out of nowhere sat with me and asked if we could be friends?" Milo raised an eyebrow
"Yeah. Being real with you, I only did that because I thought you were pretty strong and could carry me around but… After a while I started to have fun being around you." Love said, making Milo look a little confused "I don't really know why, but, I guess you were someone I could talk without telling to do something for me, and that was… nice."
"Why are you telling me this now?" Milo asked
"I… I guess I want you to know that, after we beat those guys up… I can still be your friend." Love said, making Milo widen his eyes "Sorry for… Forgetting you too…"
Milo was in complete shock, Love actually apologized to him… That… he didn't know what to say to that
"I… guess that's okay. You did bring me here and… I met some not so bad people here, and also met with Abel and Abyss again…" Milo said, giving out a small smile "Sorry for… betraying you like that… I just… didn't want to just be forgotten… to me, being strong and good at stuff was the only way people would ever like me…"
"And you just don't want to be lonely…" Love complete for him "I kinda know that feeling. Being cute to get attention and love… I guess we have that for us, huh?"
"Heh… I guess…" Milo said with his smile getting slightly bigger, Love also smiled, only for the stone mage to widen his eyes and look scared "Run."
"Huh?" Love blinked confused
"Oh, how adorable. The two little buddies got reunited again." A pompous and annoying voice came from behind them, making Love widen her eyes "I knew the newbie wouldn't be able to do anything, he was too weak to even be considered a part of the Thunder Legion to begin with, but he had future sight and information to help with Freed, so Laxus let him in."
Love turned around and saw… Evergreen! She opened her fan and covered her mouth with it, her eyes being enough to tell that she had a smug grin on her face
"Oh, it's you bitch…" Love was already filled with anger once again
"Love, don't. Evergreen and thousands of times stronger than me, and you can't fight in the state you're in." Milo warned her
"Fufu, better listen to your buddy there. And also take some time to fix that hair of yours, what horrendous hairdo." Evergreen fanned herself
Love had a dark aura cover her body as she then got up, her storm winds returning with full strength and covering her leg once more
"What the fuck did you just say about my hair?" Love said in a calm fury, there was no backing out of this fight now
"Love, no!" Milo tried to make her stop but it was too late
Love charged at her without mercy, getting ready to punch her, only for Evergreen to lift her glasses, but the cute wind mage reacted quicker, closing her eyes so that she couldn't turn her to stone! …but also in turn blinding herself, making it incredibly easy for Evergreen to take a step to the side and make Love pass right through her, hitting a random store instead
"Fufufu." Evergreen let out a small laugh
Love grit her teeth and shook her head, looking around and seeing that she was in a clothing store, having a great idea! She grabbed a pink headband and tied it around her face, using it as a blindfold and then running out of the store
"Ahah! Now you're done for!" Love yelled
"Oh, do you really think you can beat me while blindfolded?" Evergreen questioned before Love charged at her
Evergreen sprouted two pairs of small dragonfly-like wings, flying to the side and dodging another attack, only for Love to put her hand on the floor and spin her legs around to try and hit Evergreen with a Storm Kick, but she dodged those two, doing a flip in the air and slapping Love away with her fan, making her now fall inside of a flower shop
"Did you know I love flowers? They suit someone as beautiful as me, wouldn't you agree?" Evergreen said with a smirk
Love grit her teeth, being a self centered girl with an obsession for beauty and cute stuff was her thing! And she was stealing it for herself!
"Oh, you'll see you fucking hag! I'll punch you in the face so hard I want to see you remain beautiful!" Love screeched as she flew of the store
A vein popped out of Evergreen's forehead when she was called a hag, before she flew up and dodged another attack from Love
"How sad, someone with such a cute name being nothing more than an annoying brat. It's a shame really." Evergreen said
Now a vein popped out of Love's forehead
"The cute stuff is my thing!" Love yelled, doing a backflip and trying to kick Evergreen down, only for her to block the attack with her fan and parry her away
"I see. You are managing to fight like that by using your magic to check the changes in air pressure and find my location. Smart but it seems it uses up a lot of magic since your attacks are a lot weaker." Evergreen said with a smug tone while Love panted
Love then felt something weird in the air around her, it was like… dust?
"Too bad you've already been caught in my Fairy Dust." Evergreen laughed
Love panicked, trying to get away but it was too late, the dust exploded around her, making her scream in pain, her blindfold being destroyed as she fell to her knees
"Fairy Bomb: Gremlin." Evergreen said while Love fell
The fairy mage then put her hand under Love's chin, raising her face to look directly into hers
"Did you know I also love statues? It's because even the most disgusting of things can be beautiful when fashioned out of stone." Evergreen said while she used her free hand to move her glasses up, her eyes glowing "Now look into my eyes, and abandon your brat body for beauty."
Love wasn't even fully conscious, so she was not able to resist. She looked into her eyes and like that, Love had now turned to stone, Milo widened his eyes as Evergreen laid his friend down, looking at her and laughing at her victory

"Uh oh." Mash said
"Love was caught right after a tough fight, that's not fair!" Happy yelled
"Oh, come on! Let me join! The Thunder Legion is already making their move!" Natsu yelled as he punched the barrier again
Makarov was in a cold sweat, the number of guild members was dropping more and more, and they needed someone to quickly beat Evergreen or for Reedus to get Porlyusica to the guild quickly… But who could beat Evergreen?

Evergreen sat on top of her new Love Statue, fanning herself as she tapped her feet on the ground
"At least you have a cute name. Too bad your personality couldn't match it." Evergreen laughed a little
Mile couldn't say anything, he was already down and now Love was too… Now… who could possibly save them?
"Hmm? Oh, don't worry, little one. I'll free your friend. Maybe. Who knows, I like how she looks as a statue so I may keep her like this, ohohohoho!" Evergreen laughed, with Milo only frowning as a response
"LOOKS LIKE SHIT IS TOUGH RIGHT THERE!" A voice came from behind, surprising Evergreen and Milo
And then an impact happened, something landed behind Evergreen with a loud explosion, the ground around cracking with his landing. Milo gaped at that while Evergreen slowly turned, a scowl on her face. Looks like someone else has come to challenge her…

"Hey! Even he is getting a fight and not me!?" Natsu yelled
Mash widened his eyes a little at who he saw challenging Evergreen this time…

"THE MAIN CHARACTER IS HERE TO SAVE THE SAY!" It was Dot! Who had a big grin on his face and some pair of cool sunglasses! Fitting for a main character
"Humpf, a ruffian against me? What a joke." Evergreen said, covering her mouth with her fan while her eyes showed disdain

Dot vs Evergreen. Battle commence.
Laxus saw that and let out a small chuckle, these newbies were the weakest ones around, it was even proven by Milo falling first and being followed right by another one of these newbies. He only had Milo on the team for the information he could give, nothing else, he didn't even consider him part of the Thunder Legion.
"Heh, you got this on the bag, Evergreen." Laxus smirked, his victory was more than guaranteed
And so people started beating the shit out of each other!
Also, happy pride my dear reader No, I'm not late! Shut up!
Love got her character development again, and Mash got stopped by racism, Laxus really got prep here! And the guild is being a bunch of delinquents by fighting in the middle of the street
And now the main character is here to do what the main character do! Beating up a smug ass girl! huh... kinda bad when worded like that...
