Akari knows she cries a lot. With Taiki she can't afford to cry. He's always running ahead. He's always chasing the light that feels right.
She envies that straightforward road. She envies that he can just put one foot in front of the other.
All she can do is wait for him to fall or to come back and to cry.
She doesn't have power or a grip on any special item.
She just has hope and grit and her brain and those aren't enough when a whole world is trying to kill them.
She wishes it was.
But until it is, she's going to do whatever she can.
