For 492, pairing: Sho/Ami

Ami and Tsurugi last about a month.
Yuu and Shou watch with bated breath and no excitement. They love their friends and Tsurugi's carefree nature usually worked in his favor. But Ami has been responsible for her whole life and Tsurugi is… working on it.
Yuu thinks they're ridiculous. Sho just hopes they don't melt down.
They're both right.
The fight is a mess. Ami stomps into Sho's apartment. She's not crying. She refuses to cry over boys, she tells him, but she so clearly wants to.
Shou keeps his feelings to himself, which isn't hard. Ami and Tsurugi are the brash, headstrong, opinionated people, no matter how mellow Tsurugi can be. They can go on and on. Yu will shut them up, politely. Usually Sho can quiet them. But now it's not good.
Now she looks pretty.
She's been cute, vaguely attractive, but when your first love is literally god of another world, it's all downhill at eleven. At twenty, it's so much more, so much different. She's turned passion into power. She wants what she wants.
Sho wonders if Tsurugi kissed her much.
"Are you going to go back?"
"I don't know," she admits, her fire dying into embers. He smiles, gently, because he knows how to be gentle. "I don't think so."
"You can stay here until you decide."
"Thanks." Ami flops onto his couch. "You're a real friend."
Personally, Sho doesn't think so. But he doesn't say that either. He's great with silence.
