All of it started like it was straight out of a nightmare!
One day the Royal Woods Police department came barging into the loud house and arrested the patriarch of the loud family; Lynn Loud Sr.
When Lynn Sr inquired on what he was being charged with, the detectives answered by saying that he was being charged with the attempted murder of Tetherby, the richest man in Royal Woods.
Of course the father of 11 denied these claims, but the detectives who are arresting him said they had plenty of evidence and that he had the right to remain silent, the right to speak to an attorney, and everything else his Miranda Rights guaranteed him.
As Lynn Sr was being escorted into a police car, it took the rest of the loud family everything in their power to keep Lola Loud from hitting one of the detectives who was taking her daddy away, her words...
Lincoln tried to speak with some of the detectives, but none of them would give him the time of day as they were collecting various things around the house to use as evidence in the trial against Lynn Loud Sr.
News quickly traveled through the town, and soon the loud family became pariah's as no one wanted to associated with someone who had a family member who tried to commit murder. Especially with someone as powerful as Tetherby.
He was a name feared in this town, and the fact that Lynn Loud Sr had the nerve to attempt to murder him was not going to make his prison sentence any easier.
At the police station Rita and the rest of the family kept telling the police department that their husband/father could not have committed the crime he was being accused of. They even had video evidence that Lynn Sr had been with them in the time in question, but all of their words and video evidence fell on deaf ears.
It was as if the police of the Royal Woods Police department where determined to convict Lynn Loud Sr!
Soon the loud family began to suspecting that this was a railroad type of operation, where someone or a group of someone's we're trying to frame someone for some kind of purpose. Lisa tried using her connections and the government to find out what was going on, but no one would give her a straight answer.
Meanwhile Lynn Loud Sr was not doing well in prison, since the judge remanded him to the local county jail for his trial instead of losing him to his family, despite the fact his restaurant was put up as collateral for his freedom.
Within days everyone began being affected by the whole shenanigans going on with the whole attempted murder fiasco!
Lori, who was back in Royal Woods for a gap year was having a hard time with most of her friends either ignoring her, or pretending she didn't exist.
It was the same situation with Leni, Luna, and Luan.
Lynn almost got suspended for punching a kid in the nose after she called her father a murderer. It was only with Lincoln and his good buddies that they managed to hold Lynn back from doing something that would have possibly affected her whole life.
The younger kids were not having an easier time, with many of them getting bullied in school. Lola was the only exception to this, mainly because everyone in Royal Woods elementary School was scared of her. But other than her, everyone kept teasing the younger members of the loud family and calling their father a murderer over and over again.
Kids can be so cruel...
Lincoln wasn't having an easier time. Although his friends and their families fully believed in the Loud father's innocence, it was hard being around the Loud family without being caught in the fire so to speak...
Soon Lincoln found himself more and more isolated, with only as good friends being by his side. He appreciated their efforts, but he purposely pushed some of them away so that they wouldn't be affected by his bad reputation. Now don't get him wrong, Lincoln fully believed his father was incident and that he was being framed by someone. It was just that he and the rest of the family couldn't figure out why!
Why would someone target their father/ husband for this smear campaign?
It made absolutely no sense since Lynn Sr had no enemies that they could think of!
There had to be more going on behind the scenes!
Currently Lincoln was walking home after school one day. His head was covered with toilet paper courtesy of Chandler McCann, he's annoying acquaintance who has been leading the bullying campaign against Lincoln in support of the thought of Lincoln's father being guilty. Lincoln could handle Chandler, the problem was that everything was going wrong.
With Lynn Sr in jail, that meant one source of income was no longer in the household. The loud family was struggling to make ends meet, and if something wasn't done... They might have to lose the house!
Lincoln didn't know what his family was going to do! Royal Woods was their home, yet all of them felt like outkasts in a place they have lived all their lives. It was not easy for seeing friends and neighbors turn against them so easily, with only those that they consider true friends sticking by their side. Yet at the same time it was not easy keeping those friends, out of fear that they would become pariahs as well.
"There must be a way to prove my dad's innocence! But first I need to figure out who is favoring him!"Lincoln said to himself with determination, knowing that something had to be done.
That's something drastic had to be done to save his family reputation, their home, and most importantly their father / husband!
"I believe I can help with that."said someone behind Lincoln.
Lincoln didn't notice that someone was behind him, so he cautiously turned around to see a middle-aged latino man wearing an expensive white suit approaching him.
The man look like the stereotypical Latino male, with a thick mustache and beard to fit his stereotypical look. His head was neatly shaven, giving him a military light haircut. His clothes on the other hand were all white and looked very expensive. Even his white leather shoes look like they were made of only the finest materials. Along with the white gloves on both of his hands. Like you could immediately tell that this was a man who had the expensive tastes, but there was something off about him.
The first red flag was that the matter how many steps the man took towards Lincoln, there wasn't a single sound coming from his shoes. This was already disturbing, since everything made noise. He could also tell that this guy was off somehow...like he had this presence that said that he was dangerous and beyond anything Lincoln could understand. Lincoln couldn't understand why he felt like this, the guy was a normal human like him... Right?
"I bet you're wondering who framed your father. Well I can answer that, if you agree to a few terms."said the man before he disappeared in a puff of smoke.
"Huh?"said Lincoln before he heard the sound of what sounded like someone eating a piece of fruit would make.
He quickly looked back to see the same man eating an apple while leaning next to a tree.
"How did you do that?"inquired Lincoln, as the man clearly teleported.
It wasn't a sleight of hand like a magic trick he would expect, the man in front of him literally teleported to the spot he was now in in a puff of smoke.
"Oh you think that's interesting, how about a peanut butter and sauerkraut sandwich."said the mysterious man before he made a peanut butter and sauerkraut sandwich appear next to Lincoln.
"Um... No thanks. While I normally would love a peanut butter and sauerkraut sandwich, I don't have much of an appetite."said Lincoln, who was too freaked out to eat.
It quickly became clear to him that this guy in front of him was some kind of magical being or whatever,since what he was doing could not be the same as a magician he aspires to be one day.
"I see you quickly figured out that I'm not you're one of the mill human. Well done. Now, I can help free your father from jail, but you have to do something for me."said the man before his face began to change.
Lincoln almost let out a scream when he saw them Latino man's face change from from skin all the way to light particles. Like the light construct you would expect the Green Lantern to make.
"Who... What are you?"Lincoln couldn't help but inquire, as it was clear this guy was not human.
"I am a being called a celestial. We are a species that resides in a dimension beyond anything you can imagine. We celestials love to look at the lives of lesser mortals, and you Lincoln Loud are a particular favorite of my species. But lately I feel that your adventures could use a little bit more spice, if you know what I mean."said the celestial as he approached Lincoln.
"What do you mean by that...?"inquired Lincoln, wondering what this guy was talking about.
"Before I tell you what I want, how about I tell you what is going on. In truth, Tetherby is the one behind your father is imprisonment and smear campaign."said the celestial, surprising Lincoln.
"Why? Is it because my sister's and I covered him and his limo with mustard? That was a long time ago."said Lincoln, who couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"No, the reason he is doing this is because he wants the land your father's property is on. You see, before your father purchased the restaurant that was once Lynn's Table, Tetherby wanted to land to build an exclusive club for him and his Rich associates. Your father beat him to the punch, and he was not happy about it. So he has been spending the last year planning the perfect way to get rid of your father so he could get the land he always wanted, while at the same time getting revenge against him and your family."said the celestial, making Lincoln even more shocked.
"What a despicable man!"shouted Lincoln, who couldn't believe that Tetherby would go that far.
"It's not just him. The reason he took so long is because he has been paying off crooked cops within the Royal Woods Police department to fabricate evidence against your father. Planning a smear campaign takes time, and that's the only reason they took so long. All of this was a setup to make sure your father would be convicted of attempted murder. The DNA evidence of police supposedly have they collected from his restaurant. All the other circumstantial evidence is fake too. I can free your father and put the ones put them in jail away, but you will have to do something for me."said the celestial, looking back at Lincoln.
"What do you want me to do?"inquired Lincoln, wondering what he needed to do in order to free his family from this nightmare.
"Lincoln Loud, if I free your father and save your family's reputation. I want you to go into the Multiverse and go on several quests I have laid down for you. I will not tell you what those quests will be, you will need to figure them out for yourself."said the celestial, making Lincoln do a double take.
"Wait... The Multiverse! So Lisa's theory that there's a universe for every possibility is true?"inquired Lincoln, causing the celestial to not his head.
This basically indicated that Multiverse theory was true!
"But why do you want me to go into the Multiverse to go on Quests? Like my sister Lori says, that literally doesn't make any sense."said Lincoln, wondering why an all-powerful being like a celestial wanted him to go on a Multiverse Quest.
"For entertainment."simply responded to celestial.
"I beg your pardon?"Lincoln couldn't help but say.
"Like I said earlier, Lincoln Loud. You are one of the favorite of my species, because you are what we would call... An underdog. You were born in a situation as the most normal of your talented family, did you manage to persevere for the planning and determination. That has caused you to gain significant favor with my species. But at the same time we feel like you're not getting enough Adventure, so me and several others decided to put this plan into motion. Your father's current predicament is the perfect situation where you willingly go on this Quest. Now you have the option to refuse, but keep in mind that I will not help you with your father's situation should you refuse. Should you agree to this Quest, there is no backing out of it. Now what do you choose?"inquired the celestial, wanting Lincoln to make a choice right there and then.
Lincoln almost bit his tongue with frustration as he wondered what he was going to do. This all powerful being right in front of him was probably his father's best chance of being a free man. Lincoln knew better than anyone that Tetherby had spent a lot of time with this false accusation of attempted murder plan or whatever. He knew that the Royal Woods Police department wouldn't help, mainly because a few bad apples are making sure they don't help. Lincoln doesn't know how far the corruption goes, but he is a certain of one thing. Something drastic needs to be done as his father was not built for prison. If Lynn Sr is sent to jail, he can only imagine what's going to happen to him in the big house! Lincoln knew that his father went survive a week there, but what was he supposed to do. He was only a 12-year-old kid with no power to do anything but try to find a way to prove his dad's innocence! Now there was someone here who can give him the power to free his father and save his families reputation and house, but at what cost?
Lincoln could already imagine that he wouldn't see his family for a very long time if he agrees to go on this Quest through the Multiverse. He didn't know what dangerous lied ahead for him, but he wasn't sure if he wanted to do any of this. He didn't want to be separated from his family, but he didn't want his father and the rest of them to suffer. Lincoln felt like he was in one of those situations between a rock and a hard place... Where either decision has negative consequences either way.
"Choose, Lincoln Loud."said the celestial spirit of once again.
Lincoln new now it was now or never as he could tell from that tone but the celestial was losing patience. So he had to make a decision right there and then... It felt like it was super hard, like the kind of decision the president of the United States has to make when involving another country.
This was the kind of decision where both good things and bad things were going to happen! And regardless of the intentions, someone was going to suffer at the end of the day.
"I'll... I'll do as you say! But can I at least say goodbye to my family?"inquired Lincoln, to which the celestial spirit moved his head that indicated he was saying no.
"No... But I promise to watch over them and make sure they are safe while you are on your quest."said the celestial spirit, making Lincoln smile upon hearing that.
"Well... Why don't you free my father right now."said Lincoln, to which the celestial spirit responded by creating several monitors in front of Lincoln.
Lincoln watched with amazement as FBI agents headed to the prison and quickly put out a form that stated that Lynn Loud Sr was to be released immediately. The next monitor showed the FBI swarming the Royal Woods Police department on arresting the crooked cups that frame his father, including the detectives that arrested him. The next monitor then showed the FBI storming into Tetherby's mansion and placing him in handcuffs a few moments later. The FBI then read the evil businessman and his crooked associates their rights as they were taken into FBI custody. Lynn Sr meanwhile cried like a baby when he was released from county jail, with the FBI quickly saying that he was being released from all charges, and then they offered him a ride home. Lynn Sr quickly accepted that offer.
The final monitor showed the Loud family minus Lincoln being reunited with one another, with Lynn Sr and the rest of them crying like a baby.
Lincoln was crying tears of joy himself, watching as news reporters came to the house to get statements, along with several reporters trying to get statements from Tetherby and the crooked cops.
"Now that your father has been freed and your family's reputation is saved, it's time."said the celestial spirit before he created a golden portal in front of Lincoln.
Lincoln knew love this portal was most likely the first stop on a long Quest through the Multiverse. He didn't know how far he was going to go, but he wasn't the one thing. He was just glad that his family was going to be safe, even though he probably wouldn't see them again for a long time...
"Okay, let's do this."said Lincoln to himself before he took a step into the portal.
He hesitated for a moment until he remembered he couldn't back out of the deal. He had just made a deal with an all-powerful being who would most likely be very angry if he backed out now, so with a heavy heart... Lincoln put the rest of his body into the portal, before it dissipated as soon as the final part of his body went through it.
"Now to see how the Loud family will react to this situation. Perhaps they'll figure out what is going on, or perhaps not. All I know is this is going to be very entertaining."said the celestial spirit to himself, who doesn't seem to care that he just separated a family.
All he cared about was entertainment!
Meanwhile Lincoln found himself waking up in a field that he did not recognize. He looked around and spotted several creatures that looked like animals only they were slightly different.
He quickly found a note next to him. Lincoln picked it up and read the words that were on the Note.
"Welcome to the world of Pokemon... Your first stop."Lincoln said while reading the note out loud.
As soon as he finish reading the note, he threw it away and let out a sigh that was a mix of frustration and excitement?
"Well, better make the best of this."said Lincoln to himself, before he began making his way to a nearby town to see if he could find someone who can help him.
After all, he didn't think any of the money he had on him would work in this new world!
The first stop is Galar!
I wanted to write this story after seeing how well my previous story has been doing. I'm a big fan of underdogs, and Lincoln Loud is definitely a underdog!
