Another Upcoming Celebration

*3 days left until the party*

Great Fox: Interior

Matt was sound asleep in his quarters, despite being one of the few members of the Star Fox team to be up and about every morning, but today he's out cold surprisingly. It looked like nothing could wake him up, but as the sun rises over the Aether Kingdom and by extension the Great Fox in its docking station, the brightness of the sun seeps through the window of his quarters and wakes him up.

"Man, I slept well last night." Matt Sterling says while rubbing his eyes as he wakes up.

As Matt Sterling gets ready for the day he reminisces over his family hosting the team's Thanksgiving celebration and smiles. Just as he's about to exit his quarters he notices the date on his electronic calendar and his eyes widen.

"Saturday Nov 30th, I can't believe it…There's three days until my birthday!" Matt Sterling says with a mix of shock and joy.

As Matt makes his way to the main living room of the Great Fox with a can of Pepsi in his hand, when he enters the room he sees his leader the legendary Fox McCloud chatting with his mentors Samus Aran and Amuro Ray along with the rest of the team.

"It's crazy how Anaheim Electronics and Aerospace Dynamics along with the other manufacturing companies were quick to make new facilities here in the Aether Kingdom when the Galactic Federation army and the Cornerian army finished the new collation base with the Aether Kingdom Royal army. I guess there's going to be a wave of new high paying jobs for the people living here!" Samus mentions as she looks at the TV where a live news report about the unveiling and grand opening of the New Anaheim Electronics facility is happening.

"Yeah and the soldiers of the Aether Kingdom Royal Army are fast learners also. Amuro and I haven't seen this many soldiers quickly learn how to use fighters, mobile suits, and variable fighters and after the training sessions with us along with the Galactic Federation and Corneria's finest, I honestly see a lot of potential in them!" Fox McCloud comments on the success of training the pilots of the Aether Kingdom's Royal Air Force.

"I'm even surprised that a few managed to pull a few stunts that a Newtype like myself can do. Captain Bright and I were discussing these pilots when we returned to the Ra Cailum after our mock battle. If these guys truly are Newtypes or perhaps something similar then newtype research would go crazy with information of Newtypes existing in other worlds." Amuro Ray adds as he mentions the possibility of Newtypes among the ranks of the Aether Kingdom Royal Army.

Fox then notices Matt as he goes to sit down on one of the couches.

"Hey Matt, I'm surprised you slept in, since you are the first one up usually." Fox McCloud says with a small chuckle to his wingman

"I don't know how that happened honestly, maybe it was due to everything that happened the past week since we went to see my folks for Thanksgiving." Matt Sterling replies while smiling

"Well Fox and I along with the rest of the team know that your birthday is in three days and I've been wondering what you're planning to do to celebrate it?" Krystal chimes in with a smile.

"Well honestly I don't know how I'm going to celebrate it, since the thought of my upcoming birthday was clouded by other stuff that we've been doing recently." Matt Sterling replies as he scratches the back of his head.

"I'm sure you'll think of a way to celebrate your big day Matt!" Humphrey Lupus replies optimistically.

Aether Kingdom: City Streets

*JOY OF REUNION (SPACE BATTLESHIP YAMATO 2202: WARRIORS OF LOVE)*

The Star Fox team is taking a drive down the main roads just taking in the sights, seeing all the hard work they did along with the rest of the Super Smash Bros Team and their allies to make this kingdom more modernized. To some it may seem like a tedious task, but for heroes it feels satisfying seeing the people of the Aether Kingdom's lives improve and prosper in life. Now the Star Fox Team is having some lunch at a restaurant.

"Caleb wasn't lying about this place, the food here is good!" Falco says before taking a bite of his food.

"It's nice isn't it, seeing all these people enjoy this enhanced quality of life it just feels so wonderful honestly." Kate Silverfang remarks.

"Second that Kate, I'm surprised how quickly the people here managed to adopt the latest technological advancements." Slippy Toad says.

As the group continues talking and eating their food, Matt Sterling is thinking to himself as he reflects on everything that has happened.

Aether Kingdom Aerospace Port

Later the Star Fox team is meeting up with Mario, Samus Aran, Amuro Ray, Bright Noa, Donkey Kong, Link, Susumu Kodai, Shiro Sanada, Caleb, and Professor E. Gadd to pick up the new equipment and supplies for the Super Smash Bros Team that was shipped to them by Galactic Federation high command.

"Ok thank you, tell the pit crew where to meet us along with the cargo trucks when the freighter ship and the cargo planes land." Fox McCloud said to a receptionist before turning to the group.

"So here's the plan Humphrey, Mario, Samus, Amuro, and I were thinking about. We need to distract Matt until next Tuesday so we need to keep him busy for the time being." Fox McCloud says quietly to the group.

"I like that idea honestly, if Matt is kept in the dark about this big party we're planning for him, we can get more things set without any distractions." Captain Bright Noa says as some of the members in the group nod with agreement.

"What if in the event Matt could potentially get suspicious about what we're planning for him?" Caleb says with a hint of concern.

"Matt is a pretty understanding guy, he wouldn't mind something like this." Mario said as he reassured Caleb.

"Besides Matt wouldn't get angry over something like this. I mean he would get a good laugh out of it." Krystal chimes in.

Just then Matt Sterling comes out of the restroom and begins to rejoin the group

"That is the last time I get something from that one cafe here." Matt says as he walks over towards the group

"Guys Matt is coming back! Act natural!" Garth Howler said quietly, alerting the group of Matt's return.

"Hey guys, what are you guys all doing? Anyways when is that freighter along with those cargo planes landing since they should be arriving soon." Matt said as he informed the group about the freighter ship and the cargo planes carrying the supplies.

"You're right, I'll alert the cargo truck crews to meet us near the place where we pick up the shipments." Shiro Sanada says.

As the group heads over to get the supplies and meet up with the cargo truck crew, Caleb then turns to Fox McCloud and Mario while they're running over to the supply pickup area.

"I know where we can discuss the plans more perfectly in secret. Meet me along with the rest of the Super Smash Bros team at my place." Caleb says as Mario and Fox nod with agreement.
