The sky was divided between two factions: the left side was dark, the right side was light. On the light side, Galeem, the eight-winged Lord of Light, along with his army of Master Hands, was trying desperately to wipe out Dharkon. On the dark side, Dharkon, the multi-tentacled Lord of Darkness, along with his army of Crazy Hands, was trying desperately to wipe out Galeem.
The battle raged on, and Galeem's powers were declining. Dharkon began to take the upper hand, and eventually, he extended out his sharp tentacles, and impaled Galeem's entire body with them. His army of Crazy Hands accelerated, and destroyed each and every one of the Master Hands.
Finally, Galeem succumbed to Dharkon's might and power. His incredibly strong tentacles pulled on Galeem's wings, and eventually, Dharkon's overwhelming force caused Galeem to explode.
With Galeem defeated, Dharkon began spreading his darkness. The darkness in the sky dominated the light, and eventually dominated the entire Smash Bros. universe. The fighters succumbed to Dharkon's rule: one by one, Dharkon forced the spirits out of the fighters, subjugating them as puppets.
But, even with the entire universe under his dominion, Dharkon wasn't satisfied. In order for his thirst for power to be quenched, he would have to expand his darkness across the multiverse, and eventually the entire omniverse.
And so, Dharkon escaped the boundaries of the Smash Bros. universe, and began to dominate other universes. He began by taking over entire realities. Planets, star systems, humans, animals, plants, galaxies, all fell under his control. With reality under his dominion, Dharkon moved onto game universes. Iconic characters from games, such as Big Smoke and CJ from Grand Theft Auto, soldiers from Call of Duty, and the innocent characters such as Sonic the Hedgehog, all fell short to the powerful darkness.
With the game universes and reality under his control, Dharkon moved on to film universes. Characters from iconic franchises, Jedi Masters and Sith Lords from Star Wars, E. T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Dave, Frank, HAL 9000 from Space Odyssey, all became mere puppets of their dark god.
Now, Dharkon began to dominate cartoon universes. More mature characters, Peter, Lois, Stewie from Family Guy, Bob and Linda from Bob's Burgers, Hank, Bobby, Peggy, Dale, Bill from King of the Hill, all became engulfed by the undying darkness. Then, the more innocent characters, SpongeBob, Patrick, Mr. Krabs from SpongeBob, Peppa, George, Suzy from Peppa Pig, Grizz, Panda, Ice Bear from We Bare Bears, couldn't stand a chance against the darkness.
And so it went on. Characters from anime and manga, Goku, Naruto, Lord Zeno, became puppets of the darkness. Characters from the most well known books, stories, and plays, original characters created by fans, nobody and nothing could escape the darkness.
Finally, Dharkon's overwhelming power dominated the entire omniverse. He extracted the spirits from every known lifeform from existence and fiction, and forced them to animate dark, purple-eyed puppets. Dharkon now not only had an army of Crazy Hands, but an entire omniverse filled with subjugated spirits and puppets.
The darkness had taken hold of everything. Dharkon had become the new god, the new emperor of everything, the new ruler of everything, for the rest of eternity.
