"Sisters, come, quickly."

"Really Icy, why are we rushing? I'm so tired. We've been trapped in Obsidian for four years now. What are you expecting to change? One of the children to come by and say, 'Oh, hey mom and aunts. Want me to open the door?' The little rats put us in here, for witches' sake!" Stormy yells at her sister.

"Oh, don't you think I know that? But I can feel it, our escape. Something is coming."

"I don't bel-"

"Stormy! She's right. I can feel it to. Listen." Darcy calls out. The witches all close their eyes, not that one could see the action in the darkness. A foreboding feeling begins to fill the black air, to charge it with some energy.

Finally, a cracking sound starts to become audible, filling the air, like the energy had, but it turns to an awful sound. It grows more and more until each witch can hardly stand, can't even think. Then, gurgle pop.

"That, that sounded like the doorway. Darcy!"

"Already there. Come sisters, we are getting out of this death hole."

As the light of the realm of Magix began to run across the skin of the witches, the moon pouring from the sky in waves, unable to penetrate the deeper darkness of the Obsidian Circle's world. Darcy climbs out of the hole, grasping at grass and tree roots, pulling at the ground until her arms find hold and she is able to pull herself up.

"Stormy, Icy, quick. Follow the light." She calls back out to her sisters again.

"Come on Stormy,"" Icy says, taking her sister's hand and pulling her toward the almost too bright light coming from some hidden doorway.

"Stormy, give me your hand."

She reaches out for Darcy's outstretched hand and grasps it tightly. One sister pulls the other until finally two of the three Trix are out of the Obsidian Circle.

Each sister turns to look at the world, then at each other. Then, Icy's hand begins to grasp the grass at their knees and they realize that no matter what she's done to them, they have to help her, so each grabs a hand and begins to pull her up. At the last moment, just moments before Icy is safe, the hole begins to close, quickly.

The scream that comes from Icy as she realizes what's happening is deafening, and birds and other animals in the surrounding forest begin to scuttle about, trying to get away from the noise.

Each sister holds tight and Darcy and Story continue to pull her until finally, all three collapse on the grass, roots and flowers pushing up into their ribs with every breath.

"We did it." Stormy finally announces, awe clear in her voice. "We really did it. We got out."

Darcy sits up and looks around, taking in their surroundings.
