Hey guys and gals, welcome back to MHA: The value of a thief and this is going to be a bit of a break chapter.
I decided to do this to focus a bit more on the confidant route of both Ryuji and Ann, as well as some more of the aftermath of the Kamoshida incident.
I'm not sure whether or not I'll go past that, we'll see when I get to the confession.
But with that said, let's get this chapter started

Third person P.O.V.
"This was all a Cruel angel's thesis from the start! Brought to life out the window! Now it's taking flight! Scorching pathos if you betray your memory! Follow this deviant-divine philosophy! Shining more than these stars that are bathing the galaxy! Go forth young boy! And you'll become a legend!"
"WOOOO!" Ann, Ryuji and Morgana cheered, as they watched Ren taking a few breaths.
"Hah…hah…how was that…" Ren asked while looking really tired as Ryuji ran up and slapped his back.
"Dude! That was seriously your first time! That was great!" Ryuji grinned, causing Ren to sweatdrop.
"Really? I thought I messed up a couple of times" Ren admitted, rubbing his head.
"Oooh which song should I pick?" Ann wondered, as she looked through her tablet as Morgana landed on her shoulder.
"Hey! Hey! Lady Ann! How about a duet~" Morgana grinned, clearly wanting to sing with her.
"Hmm that's not a bad idea, but Ren looks pretty exhausted and Ryuji isn't that great" "HEY!"
"I don't think that's what he meant" Ren sweatdropped, before sitting back down on the couch while taking a gulp of water.
"Man this is just the way to wind down after fighting that bastard," Ryuji grinned, while stretching and eating some of his chips.
"I do wonder how it's going to work though, like is it just a sudden change or will something start happening to him" Ren wondered, while crossing his legs.
"I'm more worried if it really worked at all," Ann sighed, twirling her hair.
"Well it's certain something did happen to his cognition, what exactly I'm not sure I mean I never expected the shadow to go back to his real self" Mona sighed, shaking his head.
"Hey come on guys! Don't talk about that stuff now or we'll get all stressed" Ryuji grinned "Not only did we save our ass and beat that bastard, we got to help freaking All Might from being blackmailed."
"I still can't believe you and Shiho got to meet All Might! She's gonna flip over this'' Ann smiled, while Ren crossed his arms
"I actually don't think we should tell anyone, it seemed to me that he'd rather have his real identity a secret" Ren suggested, as the others groaned.
"Ugh fine, guess I wouldn't wanna get on the bad side of the number one hero" Ann sighed, leaning back.
"I can't believe he actually did that! Like I get he was being blackmailed but for a creep like Kamoshida! He shoulda punched him right in the face" Ryuji growled, punching his palm.
"It's not that simple, who knows what Kamoshida could have pulled if All Might actually did that" Morgana stated, while Ren leaned back.
"Well I'm over it now…I'm more angry at myself to be honest" He whispered part of it to himself as he leaned his head back and rested his eyes.
U.A.
Third person P.O.V.
"Hehe, I could get used to this!" Kamoshida smirked smugly as he laid on the couch in the teacher lounge of U.A., the number 1 hero school in japan.
"You'll stay here until we determine there won't be any villain coming after you, so just stay out of trouble" Toshinori said, as he looked down at Kamoshida.
"Course, this is way better than that shitty school but you better not forget about our deal, got that?" Kamoshida stated, pointing at Toshinori who gripped his hand for a moment before sighing.
"Got it…" He sighed, leaving the room before walking down the hallway a bit.
As he did, Ren's words echoed through his mind making him move slower and slower.
"I'm sorry…but I can't…it's not that I don't want to but…"
"I'm trusting you with this…so…don't let me down…All Might"
"And what? Abandon everyone here like you did for us."
"I did…this whole thing wasn't us…but at least there are people who are willing to risk themselves to save people"
"I'm sorry Amamiya-kun…I'm so…so sorry" Toshinori muttered, as tears started welling up in his eyes.
"Hmm? And who's Amamiya-kun? ""GYAAAAAHHH?!" Toshinori jumped, before turning around to see the headmaster of the school, Principal Nezu.
Nezu is a stout man who appears to be a possible combination of several different animals, including a dog, a mouse, and a bear, which would make him a chimaera. He has the head of a mouse with circular black eyes, a large scar over the right one, relatively rectangular-shaped ears with pale pink insides slanting outwards from the top of his head, and an elongated muzzle with a small round nose. His fur is white and has large, dog-like paws with pink pads and a thin tail like that of a cat. He sports a white dress shirt, a dark red tie around his neck, a black double-breasted waistcoat and matching dress pants.
"Sorry All Might, didn't mean to scare you like that" Nezu laughed which contradicted his words, making the hero sigh.
"No it's my fault I overreacted, I've just…had a lot on my mind" Toshinori sighed, making Nezu blink.
"Hmm, does this have anything to do with…you know what?" Nezu asked, which made Toshinori blink
"You know what? Oh! No no, not that it's just…I messed up" Toshinori admitted, leaning next to the wall.
"What do you mean, how did you mess up?" Nezu wondered, as his co-worker looked at him.
"Well I'm you've heard of what happened at Shujin?" Toshinori asked, with Nezu nodding, "I was investigating it and a boy who was rumoured to have assaulted the girl explained to me everything that was happening and who was the real culprit."
"Was he lying to you? Did you get the wrong person arrested" Nezu questioned, but Toshinori shook his head "No, he was telling the truth…but the culprit black mailed me, he was one of my old hero senpai's who figured out that I can barely hold One for All for more than an hour…and now I have to tell everyone it was the student who did it."
"You're not seriously going to do that All Might…are you…?" The look in Nezu's eyes caused pain in the hero's chest as he casted his gaze downward.
"Of course I don't want to…but Kamoshida still has the upperhand with that knowledge, if I don't follow his demands he'll reveal the symbol of peace won't be here for much longer…do you know what might happen if that comes to public knowledge?" All Might asked, as Nezu had a surprised expression on his face.
"All Might…but you're right…if anyone knew…all the villains would be even more reckless…and that doesn't even come close to how the public react" Nezu muttered, with Toshinori nodding
"Exactly, now I just don't know what to do…" Toshinori sighed "The only hope they have is some villain group going after Kamoshida, how ridiculous."
"A Villain group?" Nezu blinked, with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes, there was a warning notice all over the bulletin board in the school saying that they were going after Kamoshida and somehow knew his crimes" Toshinori explained before shaking his head "It's probably just a prank, something to get a rise out of him."
"Ah so that was the person you came in with, certainly a big fellow" Nezu nodded, as Toshinori crossed his arms.
"Mmm, hopefully he won't try anything-" Toshinori agreed, before the door opened with Kamoshida walking out.
"Kamoshida? What's wrong" Toshinori asked, noticing Kamoshida was a lot weaker than he was before.
"Toshi…All Might…" He mumbled, walking towards the hero before falling down on his needs, making Toshinori and Nezu's eyes widen.
"O-Oi! Kamoshida! Are you okay!" Toshinori yelled, checking on his senpai before freezing as he saw Kamoshida's face dripping with both tears and snot.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm so so so! Sorry! Please! Forgive me!" Kamoshida cried, as he began hugging Toshinori who just started both confused and shocked.
'H-How can this, Kamoshida was nothing like this a moment ago…it couldn't be…did those 'Phantom Thieves' do something to him…' he thought, before shaking his head.
'N-No! That's impossible, there's no way anyone could get in here especially with the new security after the villain attack…but then…what happened?' Toshinori gulped, as he tried figuring out what was going on.

In the middle of the city we see a gigantic statue of the number 1 hero All Might, however on his chest was a spray painted logo of a top hat and mask with flame coming out the eyes.
YEAH! YEAH! OW!
We then see a blur zoom past the statue, with the camera barely following its movements.
It's your haze of delusion versus reality
We see Joker running from rooftop to rooftop, with a light shining on him as several helicopters chased after him
Just keep stirring the pot to find your individuality
Arsene then flew up behind him before Joker jumped off the rooftop and grabbed his partner's Chain to help him fly.
Delete another problem that is plaguing your mind
We next see Skull running down the highway as several police cars chased after him, a wild grin on his face as he ran
From day to day! To end to end! That's entertainment of our lives
Captain kidd then sailed up and caught Skull as he cheered into the night sky, as face of pure joy behind him
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Dancing through the skies
Several paint marks were slashed at the walls, as we see Fox painting everything in the alleyway around him
Let's celebrate our time, and party while we're still alive
He then spun around as Goemon showed and blew his smoke allowing the paint to glow revealing he had painted different hero posters and stop signs.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Dancing through the skies
Panther then jumped down onto some train tracks and began dancing, as she began spinning around like a Ballerina
Kick your worries to the side and aim up to the sky.
Carmine then appeared behind her, and below a flaming tornado that spun around her as she smiled up at the beauty.
EVERYBODY! Put your hands up!
We see Queen riding on Johana with Mona on her back, as the two of them drove up an elevator through a window.
We'll be flying~ Can you imagine it?
We see a large UFO flying above the city with Oracle inside, before she tapped a few commands into it
Search and you'll find the stage set within your dreams.
The UFO then began flashing several colours like a Disco Ball that lit up the entire city.
The place where you're the one
Down below we see Noir and Milady dancing like in a ball on Shibuya crossing before the two spun around.
That's where you're meant to be!
Noir then struck a pose as Milady revealed the variety of guns below her dress.
EVERYBODY!
We then see the Thieves falling through the sky towards a variety of statues of Pro Heroes.
Put your hands up!
We see both Panther and Mona aiming firing their guns at a statue of Ryukyu which crumbled into pieces.
We'll be flying!
Then Skull and Fox quickly moved past a large statue Edgeshot, cutting it in half.
Can you imagine it?
Next we see Queen and Noir crashing, punching the large statue of endeavour into pieces.
Search and you'll find the stage you set within your dreams
In the UFO we see Oracle typing in a few more codes with a grin on her face, before snapping her fingers causing her UFO to drop a huge bomb towards the All Might statue.

Joker then grinned as Arsene threw him towards the bomb which he shot with his pistol causing a huge explosion of colours.
FLYIN! Within these memories!
We see the whole team of Phantom Thieves cheering at the beautiful explosion they were witnessing.
FLYING! That you're slowly forgetting!
Joker smirked before he spun around and landed towards the ground as the train passed by him.
Just listen close to the song that lies within you~
Ren then gets up in his school uniform with Morgana in his bag, before he waved to us and walked back towards the crowd of people passing by.

Leblanc
Third person P.O.V.
"Hey you okay?" Morgana asked, looking over at Ren as he worked on his studying for the upcoming exams. He was fidgeting with his pencil as he did so.
"Hmm? Yeah, why do you ask?" Ren muttered, still reading through the notes he had made in class.
"Because I'm pretty sure if you keep spinning that pencil any faster, you'll start taking flight." A snicker came out of Ren before he stopped spinning the pencil.
"Sorry about that, just a bit worried about what's going to happen with Kamoshida.'' Ren apologised. "I mean, having to wait the whole weekend to find out whether or not the change of heart worked is a bit nerve wracking."
"Yeah but there's not much we can do, especially since All Might hurried him to U.A." Morgana sighed, leaning on the table Ren was working on.
"Hey, there's actually been something about the Palace fight that's been bothering me…" Ren admitted, causing Morgana to raise an eyebrow.
"During the fight, when I was thrown to the ground and Kamoshida was preparing that huge attack, I started hearing a voice telling me not to give up. I know it's not any of my Persona's…do you have any idea what it could be?" Ren asked.
Morgana looked down. "Hmm…maybe it has something to do with that thing that flew into you? I assumed it was a shadow trying to get away by jumping into your mask, but considering what they said I'm not sure."
Ren raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
"The Shadows were all still loyal to Kamoshida remember, why would one be cheering for you?"
"Hmm, what a mystery…" Ren mumbled to himself. He remembered something Yoshizawa had mentioned to him about her friend from U.A. "Actually speaking of mystery, Morgana I've been meaning to ask you something I've been curious about the Metaverse."
Morgana perked up. "What's up? If it's about the Metaverse, then I can help you." He boasted proudly.
"Well I was wondering what happens when someone without a Quirk awakens to a Persona? They don't have a Quirk to be upgraded so I was wondering if anything special happens" Ren asked, making Morgana grin.
"Oh that one I can answer, they'd develop a brand new Quirk! It's what happened to me after all" Morgana smirked, making Ren's eyes widen as he remembered what Yoshizawa told him.
"Yeah, I was surprised too. I've never heard of anyone suddenly developing a Quirk like that."
'Wait…could Midoriya have been to the Metaverse and awakened to a Persona-' "Wait, you have a Quirk?"
"Nyaa~ Well if you excuse me I'm going to sleep, you should too." Morgana yawned, jumping off the table and hoping towards the bed.
"What? No! We are not finishing this conversation-aaaahhhh." Ren yawned, before rubbing his eyes. "Damn it, how does he always do that?"
Groaning a bit, Ren decided to finish up the last few questions he had before stretching and moving towards the bed to get some sleep.

Third person P.O.V.
"Where am I?" The familiar ghost girl questioned, as she walked through a black hallway with red lines going down the hall.
"Last thing I remember…I went to follow…what was his name, Joker?" The girl muttered to herself while looking down "Then I accidentally fell into him and I woke up here."
"Ah…is that the end…of the…hallway?" She gasped, quickly running to the end of the halfway only to be surprised at what she saw.
She found a large room which was at least two levels high, the walls were lines with different photo's and she could even see a large screen in the corner of the room and in the middle of the room she could see several statues she remembered seeing in Kamoshida's Palace including the statue and even his monster form. There were also the statues of the Persona's in the room including Captain Kidd, Zorro and Carmen.
"Where…where am I? What is this place" She gawked, looking at the large room before something behind here.
"My my, this is quite a surprise" Turning around the girl gasped, at seeing Arsene sitting on a bannister of the upper level before he jumped down.
"And what is your name Madame?" He questioned, as the girl just mumbled and muttered while looking up at the Persona.
"Oh? Ah you're intimidated aren't you~ I am quite handsome after all" he smirked, before spinning around "Alright, then how about this."
The girl gasped as Arsene's face and size changed to be similar to Ren's except he was still in Arsene's outfit "Is this better?."
"U-Um, yes thank you…but who are you? And what is this place" she asked, looking around.
"Well you may call me Arsene, I am the main Persona of the boy you were stalking back in the Palace" he smirked, making the girl look down with an embarrassed look "As for the where, this is that boys subconscious where all his Persona's can exist without bothering him, though I can still talk to him from time to time. I like to call it the Thieves Den"
"Wait all his Persona's" The girl questioned, before spotting Jack Frost and Andras "But I thought people could only have one Shadow?."
"Fufu, normally yes but my other self is quite special" , Arsene snickered, before looking at the girl "Now how about you introduce yourself Madame, and how did you wind up in the Palace? I doubt someone's Shadow would wind up separated from their body by choice."
"Um yes…well my name is Sumire, Sumire Yoshizawa" she introduced herself "As for how I got to the Palace, well I'm not really sure…."
"Before…I…or, my real self went to a Therapist after…after something happened…" she went a bit quiet at that as Arsene gave her a sympathetic look.
"B-But the Therapist…he did something to me…my real self thought it was just some thought exercise…but then some kind of Tendril went into her and dragged me out, next thing I know I was in some red…scary place, with a lot more Shadow like me taking the train to go deeper in." she explained, with a frown on her face.
"Interesting, did you not take the train?" Arsene asked, as she shook her head.
"No I was already confused and I felt like if I did take the train something bad would happen, so I just wandered…I don't know for how long…but it was a long time…I had no idea where I was meant to go or who I could find for help until I found the doorway into Kamoshida's Palace and I fell in."
"Ah now I see…but what do you intend to do now?" Arsene questioned, making her frown "I-I don't know…I don't want to go back to that place."
"Then why not stay here" Arsene suggested, making Sumire blush.
"N-No I couldn't possibly! B-Besides, I-I need to return to my real self…" she stuttered, making Arsene.
"Then it must be fate because our real selves know each other" Arsene smirked, making Sumire gasp "Really!"
"Indeed, so while I can't interfere with my real self too much I can at least point him in the direction of helping you" Arsene nodded, as tears welled up in her eyes.
"Thank you, thank you so much" she cried, while Arsene stared at her for a moment.
'Yeah I believed them at first…but after seeing you on the train helping out Midoriya and talking to you now, I know you're a good person Senpai'
"I should be the one thanking you…"
"Huh, what was that?" she asked, but Arsene shook his head.
"It is something, how about I show you around and introduce you to the others?" He suggested, with Sumire nodding before the two began walking around the den.
Shujin Academy
Third person P.O.V.
"Hey man." Ren heard, as he headed back to the classroom after buying a drink to go with his lunch.
Turning over he saw Ryuji with a serious look in his eyes as he walked up to him before moving up close "Have you seen Kamoshida at all."
"Now that you mention it…no I haven't, but I also haven't heard anything about Hero Class being cancelled either so don't get too excited." Ren told him with a Ryuji nodding crossing his arms.
"That's fair I guess, I just feel like I'm going crazy with all this waiting" Ryuji sighed "I mean like, do you really think he changed?"
"I hope so but we won't know until we see him, for now the only thing we can do is wait." "Ah there you are."
Blinking Ren and Ryuji looked over to see Miss Kawakami walking up to them "The hero classes are cancelled for the week so you'll be going to the study hall instead, I'm letting you know just in case no one else told you but Mr Kamoshida has taken the day off."
"Wait, seriously? Why not?" Ren asked, with a surprised tone in his voice.
"Look don't tell anyone you heard this from me but…" Kawakami whispered, as Ren and Ryuji leaned in closer "U.A. had told us that Mr. Kamoshida is placing himself under suspension, saying he suddenly left out of the blue."
"It's such an important time too…with the hero licensing exams coming up and all," she sighed, crossing her arms. "Principal Kobayakawa went to talk with him about it, but supposedly he wasn't making any sense."
"Wait, a suspension?!" Ryuji yelled, catching some students' attention.
"Don't say that outloud!" Kawakami shushed him before sighing.
"This is…" Ren mumbled, before looking down 'Is this because of us?'
"The talks about your expulsion may be put on hold too, with evidence you've given me it should prove your innocence in the matter…but that all depends on the others decision" Kawakami explained, before crossing her arms "Anyway, try not to get into any more trouble, alright."
Ren nodded at that before Kawakami walked off with Ren and Ryuji looking at each other.
"Looks like Morgana's right, something definitely happened to him." Ryuji said, crossing his arms.
"Yeah, at least this sounds different from one of those mental shutdowns…but all we can do now is wait until we get results…" Ren muttered, scratching his cheek "But now what am I meant to do, I wanna get some exercise in."
"Ooh if that's the case I think I got an idea, meet me outside the school in your gym clothes." Ryuji winked, making Ren raise an eyebrow.
A few hours later behind the school we see Ren and Ryuji in their tracksuits as they raced each other through a large patch of grass behind the school.
"AAAAAAAHHH!" "RRAAAAAHHHH!" The two screamed, as they raced each other as exercise before finally coming to a stop.
"Phew, hahaha, have not practised like that in awhile!" Ryuji laughed, as he fell back to the ground.
"Yeah it's pretty funny getting to train with a friend for once" Ren smiled, before realising what he just said.
"Huh? What do ya mean by tha- "Uh so why did you want to start training like this?"
Ryuji blinked looking up at Ren's embarrassed face before shaking his head "Oh well it's kinda dumb but remember when I tripped back in Kamoshida's palace and you got hit by that thing."
"You mean when we were escaping? Yeah, why?" Ren wondered, turning his head in confusion.
"Well I felt kinda lame that you got hit like that because of me, so I started thinking why not build back up my muscle! I mean anything's better than this flimsy body and I could help you out with your hero training more if I strengthen up my body and new Quirk" Ryuji grinned, making Ren sweatdrop.
"Dude you didn't need to do that, that light thing barely hurt." Ren said, as Ryuji got up.
"I know but still I really wanna do thi-isss!" Ryuji cringed, reaching for his leg.
"You okay?"
"Y-Yeah, my legs just feel all tight…guess it has been awhile." Ryuji explained, as he rubbed his leg.
"What exactly happened with Kamoshida? I got the basic stuff but I still don't know the whole story" Ren asked, before seeing Ryuji look a bit awkward "Ah, uh you don't have to tell me if you're uncomfortable."
"No, no I should probably tell you…might even help relieve some frustration" Ryuji sighed, sitting down.
"Before the Hero Course was established and Kamoshida came along, the track team was the biggest thing the school had going for it, but all of it changed after that dick got our coach fired and became our temporary sub" Ryuji growled, gripping his hand.
"The only reason he became a sub was to get rid of us so that he could make his shitty Hero Course the only one of worth…no offence" Ryuji apologised, looking up at Ren who smiled.
"After everything I've seen, I'd have to agree"
"He'd give us crazy workouts, then when we couldn't take em he'd add even more on top of that…day after day…it was nothing but that bullshit, and it was even worse for me then anyone else" Ryuji sighed, looking down.
"Because he knew you'd be the one that'd fight back and wanted to break you first" Ren guessed which was confirmed with Ryuji's nod.
"Got it in one, he'd chew me out if I wasn't good enough and worse he'd bring up my parents…"
"Sore subject? Guess that's why you punched him" Ren asked, crossing his arms.
"Yeah…my ma's the only one I got…all my dad ever did was drink, he'd even beat me or my ma sometimes…and Kamoshida somehow found out and told the whole team…and you already know what he did after" Ryuji sighed, as Ren saw the slight tears welling up in his eyes.
"Anyone would have done that in your place man, it's not like it was some petty jealousy like when Kamoshida punched me" Ren smiled, with Ryuji nodding.
"Yeah well Kamoshida used that as an excuse to close down the team and he even broke my leg, saying it was out of self defence and the Principal bought that" he growled, surprising Ren.
"Holy shit, sounds like the principals even worse…all he wants is attention for the school" Ren frowned.
"All my friends treat me like a traitor now, which I guess is fair but…what's worse is when Ma was brought in…they kept on chewing her out…and when we went back, she broke down apologising to me for being a terrible mother…I hated for myself for putting that on her" Ryuji frowned, more tears welling up.
"What about your dad?" Ren asked, which Ryuji laughed at.
"Oh he bailed long before that, haven't seen him for so long he wouldn't care" Ryuji smiled, wiping his tears.
"Guess you were right about us being similar," Ren nodded, as Ryuji looked at him.
"I pretty much went through the same thing with all of my classmates when I got arrested, only differences are that none of them really knew me that well to be that surprised but they still treat me like shit" Ren muttered, before gripping his hand.
"And that you had at least one parent that cared" Ren whispered the last part to himself before shaking his head.
"I think I gotta go now if I'm late Sakura-san and Morgana will start chewing me out," Ren said, getting up.
"Oh yeah I was wondering where Morgana is, woulda thought you'd bring him here" Ryuji asked, as Ren scratched his cheek.
"Well nothings really going on right now so we didn't really see a reason for him to come along, besides what's the worst that could happen."
Meanwhile in Leblanc
In Ren's room we see Morgana happily sleeping on the bed as he waits for his protege to return.
'Man this is boring, when is Ren coming back' Morgana groaned, as he stretched around a bit.
Then he started hearing footsteps walking up the stairs catching Morgana's attention "Oh you back fina- wait no, it's just you."
It was Sojiro who slowly looked at the room before nodding "Good looks like he's not here…."
'He doesn't usually come up here? And it's not dinner time yet?' Morgana wondered, as he looked at Sojiro who moved towards him.
"Now…I've been waiting to do this the whole weekend~" Sojiro grinned, looming over Morgana.
"H-Hey b-boss what are you-HEY!" Morgana hissed, as he was suddenly picked up.
"MORGANA-TAAAAAANN~" "GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"
Shibuya Station
Third person P.O.V.
"Seriously" Ren sighed, as he looked at the train time only to find that his train was delayed for another half an hour "Freakin villain attacks…"
"Guess I'll just hang out around the station-" "Oh hey Ren."
Blinking, Ren turned his attention to see Ann walking up to him with a smoothie in her hand "You just got out of school."
"Yeah, where were you though? You kinda just left in the middle of the day" Ren asked, prompting the girl to sigh.
"My manager needed me back for some reshoots, so I had to leave with the teachers permission" Ann explained, with Ren nodding.
"Ah, well fair…oh right should probably tell ya, Kamoshida put himself under suspension" Ren smiled, surprising the model.
"Wait seriously?! That's amazing! Does this mean it really worked!" Ann grinned until she realised something "Then why didn't you tell me! I was nervous all day because of this stuff."
"Sorry sorry, Ryuji asked me to do some exercises with him and guess I got kinda busy" Ren explained, before scratching his cheek "Now I gotta wait here for like half an hour till the train comes."
"Ooh yeah I heard about that delay, wanna hang out till your train comes" Ann suggested, while Ren rubbed his head.
"I dunno, don't wanna go too far and accidentally miss my train" Ren said, making Ann grin "It'll be fine we'll just go to the underground mall/"
"Wait…there's a mall in the train station?" Ren questioned, with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh, I have a lot to show you country boy" she grinned smugly as the two walked into the station.
Ann then proceeded to take Ren for a tour around the Underground mall of the train station which he was surprised about just how big the place was.
There were multiple stores in the train station, including a supermarket, cosmetic store, accessory shop and even a flower shop with a lot of people checking out each of them.
"Video game music? Really?" Ann asked, with a raised eyebrow as the two looked through the music section.
"Hey don't knock till you try it, this shit is good" Ren smirked, holding up one of the game soundtracks he used to listen to as a kid.
There was a bit of an awkward silence between the two as they searched through the music.
"So how's Shiho doing?" Ren asked absentmindedly, before realising what he said "Ah uh I didn't mean um."
"N-No it's fine, you just surprised me" Ann stated, before shaking her head "She's doing better now…but she still hasn't woken up yet."
"Are you gonna tell her about all of this, and what we did to Kamoshida?" Ren questioned, but Ann shook her head.
"Nah, she wouldn't believe a word of it…but I do know one thing, I have to apologise to her?" Ann answered, confusing Ren.
"Apologise? Apologise for what?"
"It's because of me that Kamoshida even went for Shiho…she's the only friend I have in that school so it made her an easy hostage for Kamoshida to manipulate me…" Ann frowned, looking on one of the discs.
"I thought it was my job to protect Shiho…that if it was her dream to try and help people…that I should be the one protecting her…really all I was doing was leaning on her for strength and bringing her down…" Ann explained, wiping a tear away "Guess she really doesn't need me after all."
"So what? You're just going to leave her?" Ren asked, as Ann looked at him surprised "You're right that you were just leaning on Shiho for help, but now she needs you more than ever to help her find her own strength, life won't change if you don't do it yourself…but that doesn't mean you can't get help taking that first step."
"Shiho's own strength…you're right, I need to let Shiho stand on her own two feet again…and I also need to find my own strength, so that I can stand right next to her" Ann smiled, as she gripped her chest "Then maybe I'll have the courage to ask…"
"To ask…?" Ren questioned, before realising what she meant "Oooooooohhhh… Morgana's gonna be crushed."
"Don't tell him please, I'd rather break the lil guy's heart like that…at least not yet" Ann smiled, making Ren snicker.
"You're an evil genius aren't you" Ren asked, as Ann smirked.
"Oh you have no idea~...but, do you mind if we can talk like this more often? I could use your help finding my own strength" Ann asked, with Ren shrugging.
"I don't mind," Ren agreed, as he took out his phone to check the time while Ann looked at him with a smug smirk.
"And as thanks~ I'll help ya out with the honours student you're so close with" Ann grinned causing Ren to roll his eyes.
"I keep on telling you Ann it's not like that, Sumi's just a friend" Ren sighed, crossing his arms.
"And yet you call her by a cute nickname~" She smirked, making him scratch his cheek.
"Whatever, I should go now…my train's almost here" he nodded to himself before turning around and walking off as Ann looked at him with a grin.
"Oh~ I am making this ship happen."
A few weeks later
Shujin Academy
Third person P.O.V.
The days of waiting for Kamoshida's change of heart to be revealed to them spun by, with Ren continuing to help out his friends with training and talks while continuing his studies.
This finally came ahead at the start of the next month where the school had called for a morning assembly, which we see now as all the students stood in the gym.
Principal Koabyakawa walked up to the podium and looked down at the students in front of him "I'm sure you are all still shaken up by the tragic event that took place the other day, we have been informed that the girl is in a stable condition and is on the road to a full recovery."
"Tch, you could at least say her name," Ryuji scoffed, crossing her arms as murmurs came from the crowd.
"Yeah this does seem more like formality…" Ren sighed, as he rubbed his head while looking over at Ann with a sad expression.
"Alright, settle down everyone." The principal called out, "While I'm sure you're all thrilled about this news. I want to remind you all that, you have bright futures and-"
The teacher was soon interrupted by a loud bang suddenly echoing through the room, causing everyone to turn back to see Kamoshida enter, his head hanging low. "M-Mr Kamoshida?"
"I… I have been reborn…That is why…I will confess all of my sins"
Kamoshida seemed completely different then before, instead of his aura of disgusting confidence, he now seemed far more apologetic and defeated as he walked towards the stage.
"W-What's going on…is this…" Ryuji muttered, with widened eyes and Ren had the same expression.
"I… I have repeatedly done things… Unbecoming of a teacher. And… I wish to confess them all…" Kamoshida trailed off, finally opening his eyes which were full of regret and despair.
"I… I have been verbally and physically abusive to all of my students, forcing them to battle each other and punishing the losers all for my entertainment … I… I have also sexually assaulted many female students…I am the reason Shiho Suzui tried to kill herself" he revealed, causing the students to gasp.
"I-I thought it was the transfer student?!" "It was Kamoshida all along!" "This can't be real?! Can it?."
Kamoshida fell to his knees with tears welling up in his eyes as he looked at the students ``I thought of this school as my own castle…my way of getting back my glory after I lost my place of number 1 to All Might…I… I even leaked the record of the transfer student, making it sound so much worse than it was… A-And tried to get him and another student expelled simply because I didn't want him taking away my attention…I even tried to blame him for the horrible act I did to Suzui and even blackmailed my other students to assault him! Of course I will rescind all of this!."
"S-So all of this stuff about the transfer student…" "H-He does have a record..but…" "Oh my god! I can't believe I looked up to him!."
"I am truly sorry…for putting innocent youths through such horrible acts…using their dreams as leverage to do whatever I wanted…I am an arrogant, shameful and pathetic person! No, I'm worse than that! I am a monster!" Kamoshida yelled, before slamming his head to the ground.
"I… I will make amends and kill myself for all of this!."
Everyone gasped as the teachers tried to calm them down with Kobayakawa running up to Kamoshida "Mr Kamoshida! P-Please! Get off the stage!."
"No! I deserve this! They need to hear everything I've done before I kill-" "DON'T YOU DARE RUN FROM THIS YOU SON OF A BITCH!."
All eyes turned to Ann who had a furious expression on her face "Shiho is still alive! Even after everything you did to her she's still standing! You have no right to run from all the pain you caused! To everyone!"
"T-Takamaki…" Kamoshida looked upward, tears streaming down his face as he nodded "Y-You're absolutely right… I-I should be punished under the full extent of the law."
"I did horrible things to Takamaki as well…in order to keep Suzui's spot in the Hero Licensing exam…I tried to force her into having relations…and when she refused…that's when I moved to Suzui as well!" he cried out.
As Kamoshida continued speaking, more and more students began to speak up, muttering in surprise or sharing their own experiences under Kamoshida's rule, all while the teachers were trying and failing to keep the order.
"As… As of today, I resign from my position and will turn myself in…" Kamoshida then stood up and frantically looked around the room with a desperate expression, "P-Please! Someone call the police!"
"Wow" Ryuji muttered, looking up at him with a look of shock.
"It…it actually worked…" Ren gulped, as he looked down and took everything in.
Meanwhile, later in the day
Leblanc
Third person P.O.V.
Later on in the day in Leblanc, Sojiro was reading the paper as a suited man ate some of his curry while having the coffee.
The man looked to be the same age as Sojiro, with curly black hair and black eyes with a bit of stubble. He was wearing an all white suit except for a black shirt and red tie, a fedora next to him on the counter with a brown coat hanging behind him.
"And now for a breaking news story" A news reporter said, as the two looked over at the Tv.
"A sudden and stunning fall from grace as former number one hero Suguru Kamoshida/Geo Ball who has since become the Hero Teacher for a city highschool's hero programme has suddenly turned himself in" The news reporter explained, as Sojiro mused.
"Kamoshida…that was the old hero guy from the Kid's school huh…" Sojiro noted, as he began drinking his coffee.
"He has suddenly confessed to problematic behaviour towards his students, his actions and his past as the former number 1 hero, this has caused outcry and a harsh response coming from the public."
"A sudden change of heart…well that's certainly interesting…" The man noted, as he continued watching.
"Due to recent reports from U.A. It is believed by a former villain group that Kamoshida is responsible for these actions, however it is stated that is only a working theory and that the police will be investigating these claims and any possible motivation he may have."
"A former villain group huh? Guess he really must have made an impression" Sojiro shrugged, before spotting the man getting up "You sure you wanna leave? The kid should be back any minute now, it wouldn't hurt to say hi."
"No but send my regards…besides" the man said, as he put on his brain coat and fedora "I doubt he would want anything to do with him…after what I did…."
"Well alright, don't forget to stop by again…Kurusu-san" Sojiro waved, as he watched the man leave the cafe.
And cliffhangers!
What did you guys think of this chapter? I know it didn't have a lot of action but I got to sow more seeds for the upcoming parts of the story.
First of all is the Sumire plot line, you can probably guess where this is going but in short this is how I interpret Maruki's changing Sumire, which I took inspiration from other stories though in a different direction.
As for this ending,well this will be an important part to how I'm planning on altering the story of P5. Mostly to have some surprises for you all that you won't see coming.
