Hey guys and gals, welcome back to MHA: The Value of a Thief and this time we'll hopefully be going into the first infiltration of the new Palace.
We will also be getting to see some more of Keichiro Kurusu as he interviews Ryuji and Ann about what happened in Shujin.
Now you guys may be wondering when he'll be meeting Ren, well that's not going to happen until after the Kaneshiro arc.
But with that said, how about we get this started

Third person P.O.V.
"C'mon Ren! We're gonna be late!" Morgana yelled while Ren was dashing towards the train station.
Ren shook his head. "I'm going, I'm going! We can miss one train." He made his way towards the station after leaving the meeting with Ryuji and Ann.
"We gotta go to bed soon so we're ready! Don't forget our mission tomorrow!" Morgana shouted.
Ren crossed his arms. "Yeah yeah, I know we're heading over to Madarame's tomorrow and-"
"Oh shut up about that Madarame bastard."
Ren and Morgana blinked as they saw a clearly drunk homeless guy stumbling towards them, his Quirk making him look like a lizard man so he was clearly noticble.
"Wha dew peple gib a sheet bout that bashturd Madarame! He ruined my whole god dang loife!" The man yelled, pointing at Ren and poking his jacket.
"Jeez, this guy reeks…" Morgana sweatdropped, as everyone around them just ignored Ren and the homeless guy.
"Uh sorry but I gotta, wait did you say Madarame?" Ren blinked, looking at the man "You know him?"
"Good idea Ren, we can get some info from him." Morgana grinned, as they both listened in.
"Yuh! I wsh one of his students ya know! He treated meh ike shit, id wsh because of tht busturd that ai couldn't get any wrk" He explained "Ahnd yeh shouda sin whut he said whn one ob us trid fitting back" he drunkenly stammered, as Ren listened closer but then the man suddenly collapsed.
"Oh god! Oh geez! Heavy! This is heavy!" Ren cried, as held the drunken man in his arms.
As this was going on we see Ryuji and Ann sitting in a cafe looking very awkward and worried.
"Are we seriously doing this?" Ryuji whispered, as he and Ann sat in a cafe while Keichiro got their orders.
"Well we couldn't exactly say no now could we! Would look way too suspicious" Ann shot back, before the two perked up.
"Sorry for the wait, this shouldn't take too long." Keichiro smiled, as he sat opposite the two and handed them their drinks "Thanks again for coming to answer my questions."
"N-No problem sir, we're happy to help." Ann sweatdropped, but Keichiro waved it off.
"Don't call me sir, it makes me feel old." He said, before crossing "I just wanted to ask if you too knew anything about the Kamoshida incident."
"Let me guess you're trying to see if those rumours are true that it was me and the 'criminal' transfer student" Ryuji guessed, sarcastically but was surprised by the detective's response.
"Oh not at all, I know it wasn't you two" He said, as Ryuji and Ann were surprised at his reply "I've heard the rumours about the three of you suddenly starting to hang out out of nowhere but when I looked into it, it seems all three of you are just victims of Kamoshida looking for support."
"Speaking of which I was hoping to get the story of what Kamoshida did to you two, to help with my case" Keichiro asked, as Ann looked at him.
"What exactly are you investigating?" Ann questioned, making Keichiro nod.
"Well I'm looking into how Kamoshida got so much power in the school, even if he was a Hero Teacher he shouldn't have been able to do the things that he did without someone covering for him and I want to find out" Keichiro stated, a determined look on his face.
Ryuji and Ann were surprised at the honesty coming from Keichiro, not used to this kind of treatment from an adult like him.
Nodding to each other the two began explaining to the detective about their experiences with Kamoshida while Keichiro wrote them down in his notebook.
"Wait so he started revealing private information about your family situation and then when you attacked him he broke your god damn leg and claimed self defence" Keichiro blinked, "And the principal actually bought that and was even able to close the whole team."
"Yeah pretty much, now everyone in my whole team freaking hates me…" Ryuji grumbled, as Ann frowned.
"Geez Ryuji, I never thought it was that bad," Ann said, patting his back.
"Well your case is worse Ann, I mean he'd been doing that shit for months" Ryuji said, as Keichiro nodded.
"Right, I remember hearing that from the report in his confession, I have to ask some details about the black mail he was using on you and Suzui, '' Keichiro asked, as Ann frowned.
"He was pretty much black mailing me into doing whatever he wanted, trying to get me to give him my phone number so that he could have sex with me, there was even rumours going around we were going out and if I ever said no he would threaten on removing Shiho place in the Hero Licencing exam" she explained, making Keichiro blink.
"But he wouldn't have had that kind of power," Keichiro noted, making the two blink.
"What?"
"The point of Quirk Classes is the teach students how to use their Quirks as a form of self defence while slowly pushing them into taking the Hero Licensing exam but it's their choice they want to do it or not, Kamoshida would have no control over who gets to go"
Ryuji and Ann blinked before looking down as they took in the information "That son of a bitch."
"I-I'm sorry…I just need to head back home and process this information" Ann said, standing up while rubbing her temples.
"Ah well, if you have any more information or questions for me just give me a call" he said, handing them some business cards as the teen nodded before walking off.
"Uh I should probably be going too" Ryuji nodded, slowly getting up but Keichiro looked up.
"Actually there's something I'd like to say to you Sakamoto" Keichiro asked, standing up.
"Huh? Sure what's up" Ryuji asked, before Keichiro placed a hand on his shoulder.
"The things Kamoshida, the teachers, the other students and even you father have said to you none of them matter" Keichiro said, surprising Ryuji getting a gentle smile from the detective "You're a good kid with a bright future ahead of you, don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise."
"Uh…o-oh, t-thanks" Ryuji grinned, before something from his eye "Damn it, what the heck is going on, I gotta go see ya later."
"Hmm…seems like you've made some good friends, Ren," Keichiro smiled, watching Ryuji leave the cafe before sitting back down while sipping some of his coffee.

In the middle of the city we see a gigantic statue of the number 1 hero All Might, however on his chest was a spray painted logo of a top hat and mask with flame coming out the eyes.
YEAH! YEAH! OW!
We then see a blur zoom past the statue, with the camera barely following its movements.
It's your haze of delusion versus reality
We see Joker running from rooftop to rooftop, with a light shining on him as several helicopters chased after him
Just keep stirring the pot to find your individuality
Arsene then flew up behind him before Joker jumped off the rooftop and grabbed his partner's Chain to help him fly.
Delete another problem that is plaguing your mind
We next see Skull running down the highway as several police cars chased after him, a wild grin on his face as he ran
From day to day! To end to end! That's entertainment of our lives
Captain kidd then sailed up and caught Skull as he cheered into the night sky, as face of pure joy behind him
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Dancing through the skies
Several paint marks were slashed at the walls, as we see Fox painting everything in the alleyway around him
Let's celebrate our time, and party while we're still alive
He then spun around as Goemon showed and blew his smoke allowing the paint to glow revealing he had painted different hero posters and stop signs.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Dancing through the skies
Panther then jumped down onto some train tracks and began dancing, as she began spinning around like a Ballerina
Kick your worries to the side and aim up to the sky.
Carmine then appeared behind her, and below a flaming tornado that spun around her as she smiled up at the beauty.
EVERYBODY! Put your hands up!
We see Queen riding on Johana with Mona on her back, as the two of them drove up an elevator through a window.
We'll be flying~ Can you imagine it?
We see a large UFO flying above the city with Oracle inside, before she tapped a few commands into it
Search and you'll find the stage set within your dreams.
The UFO then began flashing several colours like a Disco Ball that lit up the entire city.
The place where you're the one
Down below we see Noir and Milady dancing like in a ball on Shibuya crossing before the two spun around.
That's where you're meant to be!
Noir then struck a pose as Milady revealed the variety of guns below her dress.
EVERYBODY!
We then see the Thieves falling through the sky towards a variety of statues of Pro Heroes.
Put your hands up!
We see both Panther and Mona aiming firing their guns at a statue of Ryukyu which crumbled into pieces.
We'll be flying!
Then Skull and Fox quickly moved past a large statue Edgeshot, cutting it in half.
Can you imagine it?
Next we see Queen and Noir crashing, punching the large statue of endeavour into pieces.
Search and you'll find the stage you set within your dreams
In the UFO we see Oracle typing in a few more codes with a grin on her face, before snapping her fingers causing her UFO to drop a huge bomb towards the All Might statue.

Joker then grinned as Arsene threw him towards the bomb which he shot with his pistol causing a huge explosion of colours.
FLYIN! Within these memories!
We see the whole team of Phantom Thieves cheering at the beautiful explosion they were witnessing.
FLYING! That you're slowly forgetting!
Joker smirked before he spun around and landed towards the ground as the train passed by him.
Just listen close to the song that lies within you~
Ren then gets up in his school uniform with Morgana in his bag, before he waved to us and walked back towards the crowd of people passing by.

Madarame's Shack
Third person P.O.V.
"Blegh, did you have to go all out like that" Morgana groaned, looking very nauseous as they walked up to their destination.
The reason why Morgana was acting like this was simple, a little girl had ran up to them on the train wanting to pet Morgana but since they weren't allowed to bring pets there they tried convincing the girl he was a stuffed animal, with Ren even petting him so that Morgana would meow like a toy.
"Sorry, I thought going rough with you would sell the lie better" Ren apologised while rubbing his head as Morgana hopped out the bag.
"Finally I can stretch! That train was getting stuffy" Morgana mewed, as he stretched his body.
"So is this the place?" Ryuji asked, as they looked up at the small wooden house in the neighbourhood.
"Looks like it, the plate say's Madarame and everything" Ann murmured, as she read the nameplate of the house.
"Well what are ya waiting for, ring the doorbell" Ryuji said, as Ann sweatdropped.
"Hang on, I don't wanna knock the whole wall off" Ann sighed, before pressing the bell button on the door.
"Yes? Who is it" The familiar voice of Yusuke said from the voice box "I'm afraid Master Madarame is not here at the moment."
"Um, this is Takamaki I came about the-" Ann was then cut off by the sound of items falling over while the group heard the quick footsteps of Yusuke moving towards the door.
"Takamaki-sa… you two are here as well?" Yusuke blinked, seeing Ren and Ryuji standing behind Ann.
"Sorry but we're not here about the modelling thing today, we were wondering if we could ask you some questions about the rumours going around about Madarame? We just wanna make sure she's not getting into anything bad" Ren explained, as Yusuke nodded.
"I suppose I can understand, very well go ahead" Yusuke agreed, as he crossed his arms.
"First of all we've been hearing a lot about Madarame plagiarising from his students and abusing them, treating them like dogs and stuff" Ryuji asked, showing him the message from the Phansite as proof.
"Heh, hahahahahahahahahahahahaha" Yusuke laughed, making the others sweatdrop.
"Nonsense, the idea that a master would plagiarise his own work is patently ridiculous. And abuse? Never!" Yusuke smirked, waving his hand "If he detested children enough to abuse them, why would he ever consent to take in Live-in students?"
"I am the only student currently living with Master Madarame, I say there is no abuse so therefore there is none" Yusuke stated, making Ryuji growled and he was about to say something but then Ren stood forward.
"Then what about the other students? Where are they now?" Ren asked, while having a determined look in his eyes "I don't know the rest, but the one I met last night looked to be drunk and homeless, clearly having a grudge against Madarame and not only that but there are even rumours that some of them are disappearing whenever they try to get back at Madarame."
"Um…well…I…" Yusuke muttered looking down, making Ren sigh before looking up.
"Listen I'm not trying to put you into a corner here, I did something I believed in, something I thought was right but it still cost me my home, my old friends and even my family got rid of me" Ren explained, looking down.
"I'm just worried that the same thing is happening to you so if the rumours are true and Madarame is really taking advantage of you…we want to help, so please" Ren stated to Yusuke who looked down.
"Ren…" Both Ryuji and Ann frowned after hearing their friend's speech.
"Nonsense…" Yusuke growled, before looking up with a furious look "I WAS ORPHANED AS A CHILD! BUT MASTER WAS THE ONE WHO TOOK ME IN AND RAISED ME! IF YOU CONTINUE TO INSULT THE MAN TO WHOM I OWE MY LIFE, I WILL BE FORCED TO TAKE ACTION!."
"Yusuke? What's wrong, I rarely hear you shout" They heard, as they looked over to see Madarame walking up.
"M-Master, these people…they're slandering you."
"Now Yusuke, please forgive them" Madarame asked "From what I heard, all they were doing was seeing if those nasty rumours were true out of concern for their lady friend there."
"I mean to be fair, when it's gotten to the level that detective's are looking into these rumours, you tend to get worried," Ren stated, as Yusuke looked at him surprised.
"Ah yes, a Shirogane did ask me about that though I didn't have anything to answer her questions…I do hope she'll be able to help my dear students soon even if we didn't part on the best terms" Madarame admitted, holding his hand to his chest "I'm sorry for interrupting, but there are the neighbours to think about, could I ask you to keep thing civil."
The teens watched as the artist went back inside of his home as Yusuke turned to the group "I see now why you felt you had to act on such rumours, I apologise for my earlier outburst."
"It's alright, we were kind of pushing you into a corner" Ren nodded, looking back at Ann and Ryuji who also hesitantly nodded.
"If you let me, I want to show you something…one glance and you'll know that master isn't the kind of person from these rumours" Yusuke asked, as he looked through his phone before finding what he was looking for "This is his the work that brought Madarame the success he has today, the Sayuri."
The trio looked into the phone to see a painting of a woman in a beautiful red dress with long black hair, behind her was a blooming sakura tree and a setting sun. And forming around the woman was a dark fog as she looked at it with a smile.
"This is the masterpiece that sparked my desire to become an artist" Yusuke smiled, looking at the amazed expressions from the trio while his Fox tail wagged excitedly.
"It's beautiful" Ann muttered, with even Ryuji nodding "I don't get much about art but even I admit that's good."
'What's up with the fog though? Doesn't really match with the rest of the painting…' Ren thought, but he decided not to mention so he wouldn't further annoy Yusuke.
"Takamaki, when I first laid eyes upon you, I felt the same shock course through me as when I first saw this masterpiece" Yusuke declared, causing Ann to gasp.
"Eh?! M-Me."
"This is the type of beauty that I wish to devote my life to! And I believe that painting a portrait of you will help me understand it at a deeper level" he smiled, looking up at Ann "I do hope that you will agree to my request of becoming my model."
"I know you've all come this way but I must go and assist my master now, please come again some other time good day" Yusuke smiled, before walking back to the Atelier.
As the door closed Ren noticed a fly that came from his bag fly through the door 'Guess Morgana wants to take a look around, I'll give him a few minutes'.
"You know they both seem like pretty decent people, what do you think Ren" Ryuji asked, as they walked a bit away from the shock.
"They do certainly sound like they're dedicated to the craft, then again that's what most people thought about Kamoshida" Ren reminded them.
"That's a good point, we can't be too certain…maybe we should take a look around his Palace just to be sure" Ann suggested, making Ryuji grin.
"Good idea, but we still need to figure out the other key words" Ryuji said, tapping his cheek "All we got so far is his name and probably Shack too, but what about the last one…any ideas Morgana?".
"Oh Morgana used his Quirk to become a fly so he can look around the Atelier, he should just be a few minutes" Ren explained, crossing his arm.
Meanwhile we see Morgana returning back to a cat as he looks around the house.
'Nyahahaha! Sneaking into a run down place is too easy, it's scary how good I am' Morgana smirked, looking around.
'Now let's see what kind of clues I can find…if Madarame really is a bastard like the rumours have been saying I'll find out here…' Morgana nodded while turning a corner.
"What the?" Morgana blinked, finding a gaudy looking door that was blue with golden like leaves on it which conflicted with everything else in the house, it even had a large golden padlock.
"Wow this sure sticks out like a sore thumb, there's even a giant padlock…I'd say this was a better place to hide some secrets then any" Morgana smirked, trying to reach for the lock.
"Ugh great, it's too high up…guess I'll just have to work on it from the insi-" Morgana said as he was about to transform but then heard a footstep.
"What the hell is a flea ridden cat doing here?" Morgana gulped, looking behind him to see Madarame glaring down at him "It's going for the padlock!".
Madarame then grabbed a nearby vase and flinging it towards the cat "NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO TOUCH THAT DOOR! NOBODY!".
"Woah!" Morgana yelped, dodging the vase before transforming into a fly so he could dodge the shards before flying away.
"It has a Quirk too! So that's how it got in" Madarame growled, as Morgana flew out of the house.
"Guys!" Morgana called out, as the trio looked over at him before returning to cat form "There is definitely something wrong with that Madarame guy!".
"What are you talking about? What happened in there" Ann asked, as Morgana took a few shaky breaths.
"I was taking a look around the Atelier when Madarame spotted me and went crazy! He was trying to freaking kill me!" Morgana yelled "It looked like he was trying to protect a gaudy door in his house".
"Well that's a red flag if I ever heard one, guess we better figure out that last keyword and head into the Palace" Ryuji said as Ren took out his phone.
"Alright I got it set up, any suggestions" Ren asked, as the others thought about it.
"Man this is way too sudden umm…" Ryuji groaned, trying to think of something.
"How about we start with 'castle'" Ann suggested, speaking loudly enough so that the phone would pick it up.

"Okay, how about a prison? Or maybe a jail" Ryuji suggested, waiting for the phone to reply.

"Ugh seriously" Ryuji groaned, before blinking "Wait, can't you take us to the Palace Morgana?".
"It's way too tiring to bring a large group of people to a Palace like this with my ability, only reason I could do it last time was because Ren had already opened it a few minutes earlier I would basically be out for the count" Morgana explained, crossing his arms
"We just need to think more in terms of the artist, we're trying to figure it out from Madarame's point of view," Morgana explained.
"Hmm, then maybe an Art school?" Ann suggested.

"Umm, an Art supply store?" Ryuji guessed, with a shrug.

"Oh my god, fine then how about a museum!" Ren yelled, getting irritated only for the phone to flash.

"Wait, for real?!" Ryuji blinked, moving backas the world around them became distorted.
Madarame Palace
Third person P.O.V.
"Woah!" All four yelped, as they appeared within Madarame's Palace while in their Thief attire.
"Jeez, give us some warning before you do that, we could have been spotted by the guards" Mona berated, as Skull looked over at him.
"Hey it's not like we can exactly choose when it picks up our voice or not" Skull shot back.
As the two argued, Joker and Panther looked up at the Palace in question that replaced the small shack.
It was a gigantic golden museum that reached up past the clouds with hundreds of people lining up the front entrance trying to get in.
"Dang, I would be shocked if his sin wasn't Vanity" Panther sweatdropped, as Jokerr's eyes twitched.
"Yeah, it's actually kind of hurting my eyes," Joker groaned, while rubbing his eyes.
"Hmm, woah!" Panther jumped, as the others looked at her "Joker! You're eye!".
"Huh?" Joker blinked, as the other looked over.
"Holy crap! She's right, what's up with your eye!" "I've never seen anything like this before".
"Okay you guys are freaking me out, what's wrong with my eye? Joker questioned, before Panther pulled out her phone and turned on the camera.
"Take a look for yourself" Panther said, as Joker looked at himself and was surprised to see that one of his eyes was glowing yellow just like a Shadow's eyes would glow.
"What's up with that? Any idea Mona?" Skull asked, crossing his arms.
"Hmm, wait wasn't that the eyes that were hit back when we were escaping the Palace" Mona realised, as Joker looked at him.
"Think it could have been a side effect?" Joker asked, crossing his arms.
"Maybe, who knows you could even get a special power out of it" Mona guessed, making Skull groan.
"Oh great, another one".
Joker snickered as he looked over at Skull "What's that meant to mean?".
"Well let's see here, you can summon multiple Persona's, you got the damn app on your phone, I'm still thinking you got a photographic memory out of this and now the eye thing" Skull counted off as Panther nodded.
"It is a bit weird you're getting so much" Panther noted, as Joker shrugged.
"I mean, I can explain some of those things but now's probably not the best time" Joker admitted while scratching his cheek "And I'm pretty sure you wouldn't believe me anyway".
"Fine, but I'm getting an answer outta ya" Skull grumbled, pointing at Joker who only smirked before they dashed into the Palace.
'You know you're going to have to tell them sooner or later my other self' Arsene said, in Joker's head as they moved through the parking lot of the Palace.
'Yeah I know, but how am I supposed to explain a blue velvet room with a long nose man and twin velvet brats that execute my Persona's like the French Revolution' Joker shot back 'Actually speaking of which, do you have any idea what's going on with my eye?'.
'I might~'
'Are you going to tell me?' Joker asked. They leapt onto the structure in the garden while making their way to the building's roof.
'Hmm~ Nah, I don't wanna spoil your journey just yet my other self'
"Jeez, thanks" Joker muttered, as the group looked into a nearby window into the museum.
"Sweet, we can just use this" Panther smiled, as she moved in but Joker grabbed her shoulder.
"Hold on, look over there" he warned, pointing to the security guard looking around.
"Oh, thanks Joker" Panther smiled, as they waited for the security guard to leave before they jumped inside.
"Well well, if there are security guards here then that means Madarame must be keeping some kind of secret" Morgana noted, as they looked around.
The room looked to be some kind of exhibit with several large paintings, each one showing a different person but some of them had their faces blacked out with paint.
"What creepy portraits, they're even moving" Panther shuddered, as she looked at the nameplate "Weird, all it says is a name and an age…".
"Check it out, it's the same for these ones as well? Could they be their actual names" Skull wondered, as Ren looked at the blacked out paintings.
He then noticed how unlike the other paintings, the Blacked out ones weren't standing straight but instead in some kind of pose.
"Anyone else find it weird that the Blacked out ones are in a different pose then the rest" Joker asked, as Skull walked up next to him.
"You're right, it kinda looks like they're knocking on the paintings…" Skull agreed, crossing his arms.
"Not only that but all of these are just the same kind of portraits, Madarame is known for a bunch of different styles so why would his cognition- what the heck!" Panther gasped, as the others looked over.
"What's u- the eff?!" Skull gawked, as they saw one of the portraits that showed Nakanohara displayed in the room.
"That's the guys from Mementos, so are these meant to be his students" Joker blinked, looking at the portrait.
"Hey Joker, look over here".
Joker then looked over at the sound of Morgana's voice before his eyes widened "That's the guy we ran into yesterday".
"You mean that drunk guy? I honestly thought you were making that up" Skull admitted, scratching his cheek.
"Nope, but it also looks like he wasn't lying either" Joker said, before looking deeper into the room where the guards were wandering around.
"I bet Yusuke's picture is over there as well…but looks like we can't go far without fighting it out" Joker noted, before looking back "You guys ready?".
Everyone nodded while pulling out their weapons before they turned over, "Wait, not yet!".
"Huh" They blinked, looking over at Mona
"Look closely in that room" Mona suggested, as thieves looked into several layers around the room.
"The heck?! There's infrared! You gotta be kidding me" Skull growned, as Mona crossed his arms.
"That's probably my fault, he must be on edge right now since he saw me in his house" Mona guessed, with Panther sighing.
"And us looking into the rumours probably didn't help out either" Panther sighed, before shaking her head "Well then we'll just have to be extra careful then"
With that the thieves leapt in, dodging the lasers before sneaking up on the guard
"Show me your true form!" Joker yelled, gripping the guards mask and ripping it off causing the guards body to burst.
This revealed three fairy-like persona's with red skin and wearing chinese like clothing, they also had black hair with ginger twin tails and large butterfly wings.
"A new one huh? Then we'll have to piece together their weakness" Morgana said, before jumping up away from one of the Shadows fire blasts "Jeez that was close one".
"Fire huh?" Joker noted, doing a backflip away from one of the fire attacks "Then maybe some Ice will work".
Joker attempted to reach for his mask but before he could switch Persona's, the shadow then rushed in before kicking him in the chest.
"Ugh, that's smarts…" he growled, before jumping up and dodging the fire blast from the shadow.
A green aura then surrounded Joker before he looked over to see Mona running up to him "You okay Joker?".
"Yeah, thanks for that Mona" Joker nodded, before the two readied their weapons.
"HAH!" Panther yelled, whipping the Shadow knocking it back "Good thing I'm fireproof like this or I'd be screwed, how are you Skull?".
"Woah! Not doing so what" Skull yelled, rolling out of the way from the Shadows fire blast.
He then looked up at the Shadow and was laughing at him with a smug grin on its face.
"Grr! That's it! CAPTAIN KIDD!" Skull roared, ripping off his mask and summoning his Persona who fired a bolt of electricity shocking the Shadow.
"And now for this!" He grinned, taking out and cocking his shotgun before firing at the shadow causing it to be knocked to the ground.
"Good one Skull! You found a weakness!" Panther smirked, as she pulled out her own gun and fired at the shadow knocking it to the ground.
Joker and Mona did the same, knocking the last Shadow on the ground, allowing the group to corner the Shadows.
This gave Joker the chance to Negotiate with them, which he managed to convince to join their side. Absorbing the shadow into his mask, he learned that it was Hua po.
The Thieves continue traversing through the museum, even managing to take on a few more guards, getting Ren some more Persona's including Mokoi and Forneus.
A map was picked up by the thieves as they made their way through the front entrance of the museum, before heading into the next room straight ahead.
"Holy crap!?" Skull gawked, as they saw a large golden statue depicting a golden whirlpool with people being sucked into it, hanging around the statue were large paintings of Madarame "Talk about a huge statue, what do you think it's for".
"Looks like there's a placard over here, and it's a long one too" Mona pointed out as Panther walked up.
"Let's see here…Looks like its called the endless spring" Panther murmured, as she examined the placard "These are the works that Director Madarame has cultivated, investing his own money and time into them in exchange these works must offer up all of their imagination, every creation they make must be offered to Madarame for the extent of their lives, those who cannot or do not has no value and do not deserve to live".
"Holy shit! Is this for real! So Madarame is a total fake! Seeing your students as your property and taking all of their hard work as his! I bet that guy can't even paint for shit!" Skull growled, gripping his hand.
"And what's worse is that he's not even treating them fairly, I can understand paying them a place to stay and food for their artistic work but forcing them to live in those conditions and treating them like dogs" Mona scoffed, crossing his arms.
"That actually brings up a good point, what does Madarame do with all the money he gets for his works? There are plenty of people that pay as patrons considering he's so famous" Joker questioned "And with all that money why would he continue living in that Shack?".
"I'd also bet all those paintings back there are what he sees them as, and the whole 'don't deserve to live' thing must be talking about the abuse" Mona guessed.
"So he works them to the bone only to throw them away…and then with the rumours of people coming back for payback disappearing…it's like he's treating them as slaves' ' Panther frowned.
"Why the hell isn't Kitagawa saying anything about this! This stuff is seriously messed up!" Skull yelled "I get he owes Madarame his life but this is going way too far!".
"Thinking back…I think even his own work was stolen by Madarame, when I was talking about one I really liked he acted weird when looking at it" Panther admitted.
"Grr, that's it! Enough investigating! We're definitely making this guy our next target! Right Joker" Skull declared, looking over at Joker who was thinking about it.
"Hmm, I think we should investigate a little bit more" Joker admitted, surprising Skull
"Are you serious, we know what these guys are doing! If we don't do this soon then Yusuke will be next" Skull yelled, but Joker looked at him.
"Don't get me wrong, I agree with you that we should do something about Madarame, but we need to get as much information as we can" Joker explained "We still don't know what he's done to his other students, if we meet his shadow in here without knowing what that is we might fall victim to the same thing".
"I agree with Joker, we're going into unknown territory here so we need to know as much as we can about Madarame before beginning the infiltration" Mona agreed.
"So does that mean we're going now?" Panther asked, crossing her arms.
"That's probably for the best, we don't wanna use up all our energy getting through this " Mona suggested, with Skull nodding.
"Alright, fine! Let's get out of here and go look for more evidence" Skull said, a determined look on his face as he dashed ahead.
"Wait! Skull no!".
"Huh? Woah!" Skull yelped, almost touching the infrared slipping up and tripping on his ass.
"Gah, that was a close-" "What was that! Who's there!" "I knew I heard an intruder!" "Quickly! Get as many guards as we can"
The Thieves eyes widened as they heard a large mass making their way towards them.
"Oh…crap baskets" Joker gulped trying to figure out what to do.
And done, woo boy, that was a pretty quick chapter but I got to do the major points I wanted to for this chapter.
Mainly being, hint at what Madarame has done to his students in my version of the story. The evidence was already shown in the last chapter and this is just hinting at it a bit more.
We also got a bit more of Keichiro, who I'm hoping you got the idea that he is a nice guy, but for some reason there's issues going on with him and Ren.
Speaking of which, you guys may be wondering about the start of the story. Well, you can actually find an NPC who was a homeless student of Madarame in the game I just wanted to reference.
Anyway, the next chapter is going to be the first half of the Palace infiltration as well as the investigation in Madarame and what he's been doing.
