Fast forward another 3 months

Sasuke had just gotten up from bed as he lingered the hallway tip toeing to his brother's room. "What are you doing young man?" Sasuke screeched as he heard his mother call his name out. She giggled as she noticed his pout as he lay on the floor. "not funny mom" he said pulling himself up only to be carried up by his mother. "Hey!" he complained as she carried him with her into kitchen before putting her index onto her lips mimicking the 'shhh' sound.

"You don't want to wake up your father do you?" he nodded and close the kitchen door behind them. "So what are you doing up dear?" she asked as she put on her apron. She noticed her son looking around the place as if we was looking for something, curious by his actions she asked.

"What's wrong dear?" she asked as he looked back in her direction. "Where's Itachi" he asked not taking his eyes off his mother, his dark eyes pouring into hers trying to detect any form untruth. "He went out to train again" she said as she noticed her son's stare deepen. 'what's wrong with him?'

"What! Really?" his voice rose as he replied his mother but still keeping the same stare plastered on his face. Mikoto only nodded in response receiving an exasperated sigh from her son. Itachi must have duped him again she thought giggling.

"Let me guess he promised you again?" she asked him leaving him to reply in nods as he placed his head on his chin. "It's not fair! He always promises then he's gone!" he whined as he placed his head on the table. "does he not want to train me again?" he asked his mother and his soft but cute voice and she couldn't help but giggle off late he'd been acting all grown up probably to fit in with Itachi and his father but to her she was still that little baby she carried.

"I'm sure, this is training dear" he stared back at her with a confused look on his face. "How is this training" he replied. She turned away as she began washing some vegetables, "maybe he wants you to go the extra mile"

"He wants me to chase after him?" he said earning a laugh from his mother who sprinkled water on him. "No Sasuke, he wants you to prove to him that you really want to train" her son nodded but she knew he hadn't fully grasped what she meant.

"He wants to yearn for it. For example, if you wake up a slight bit earlier who'd be able to catch him before he leaves and then he can't refuse you." She saw his eyes glitter as he ran over to hug her, she really was blessed to have all this time with him. She stopped getting this time with Itachi when he was around Sasuke's age. That was when Fugaku saw his potential and began traning him all the time sometimes it made her a bit glad her husband didn't treat Sasuke like that.

"Konoha to mom" she finally heard her son say as she broke out of her thoughts. "I'm sorry Sasuke what did you say?" he pouted at being ignored by his mother and looked the away but she quickly won him over with a quick kiss on his cheek.

"Mom!" he whined getting her to giggle.

"Do you plan on ignoring me again?"

"no" he said as he rubbed his cheeks.

"I was saying, do you mind if I stay out to train with Naruto?" Her eyes fluttered as she heard his name, she thought of the days when he would say that and she'd go drop him off with Kushina whiles he hanged out Naruto continuing their best friend cycle and then they(kushina and Mikoto) would cook or have a long chat.

However due to some unfortunate events her friend passed along with her husband leaving Naruto alone. She'd tried to adopt the blonde several times but each time she submitted a request it got blocked by council. Probably because they thought she was trying to gain the power of the 9 tails for her clan.

"Mom!?"

"I'm sorry Sasuke, you can just be home before 11pm okay?" she smiled as she thought of the two of them still being able to be friends even after how everything turned out. She watched as he gave her a kiss on the cheek and run into his room.

"He's in save hands Kushina" she whispered to herself as she went back to work on breakfast.

Meanwhile with Naruto

"ow!" naruto whined as Yugao forcefully passed her hands through his wet hair, as she washed for it him. "Stop moving around Naruto! You're making this difficult" she lashed back at the blonde was indeed making it difficult for her to work. "I can do it myself!" she sighed as she heard this as it was lack of frequent of washing of said hair that put them in this position. The blonde had gone out on camp with Kakashi to undergo some wildlife training, it was made apparent the blonde didn't bath for almost 2 weeks.

"We wouldn't be here if you had done it" she retorted as she began to run his hair over the shower, getting of all the gunk and what not present it in his hair. "Keep your eyes shut, okay" the blonde nodded as he obeyed her instructions, letting the soap run out of his long gold locks. Over the past few months due his training with Kakashi the blonde had become a big fan of the fourth Hokage even opting to let his hair grow to meet his idol length. It was a miracle how none of the villagers thought for moment, 'Oh shit he looks like the 4th'. Although it was to remain a secret so I guess it works well in the end, she sighed as the last bit of soap left the blonde's hair.

"Ok we're done you can open" the blonde opened his eyes and starting making a fuss about he looked more like 4th now leaving Yugao to nod with a smile plastered across her face. She handed the blonde a towel to wipe his hair off but he shook his causing water to sprinkle everywhere.

"sorry" he muttered as Yugao glared daggers at him. She herself remained in the bath a little longer as she fixed her own purple hair, she watched the blonde ran out of the room covering his jewels with his hands disregarding his towel. She let out a little chuckle, as long as she'd been with blonde she had written down as a hyperactive knucklehead but there were sometimes in which he could act totally mature like her captain and there were sometimes when he was just….just Naruto.

Today she had no idea what she was going to do with him, her squad had a day off for the first time that month and her friends(Kurenai and Anko) intended to spend it with her doing whatever. But she couldn't also just leave Naruto alone, the boy was too troublesome to be left alone.

She got out of the bath and wrapped her body up with a towel, opening the door she's met with the blonde reading one of the scrolls on the bed naked. "Naruto, can't you dress up before?" she said as she sat beside him. she took a peak at the scroll and saw the blonde was reading about chakra affinities.

"Chakra affinities huh?" she asked the blonde who nodded his head aggressively with a toothy smile, he rolled till he was facing before he asked his next question. "What's your chakra affinity Yugao-san?"

"If you put some clothes on I'll tell ya" and with tremendous speed she watched as he appeared in his classic orange jumpsuit. "Well well that was quick" the blonde just smiled back with his usual fox grin.

"So my natural affinity is earth, but I am learning water as well" she told her blonde as she noticed his confusion. "So you have 2?" he asked as her, she shook her head. "No, I have one. But you can learn to use other affinities" the blond nodded in understanding.

"What do you think my affinity will be?" he asked her with a toothy smile. "Well I think it will be something stubborn and hard to control when you do master it it's very strong just like you. So I guess wind besides I think it should be wind since looking at the amount of wind jutsus you've learned so far is kind of impressive." she responded as he pouted at her comments beforehand. Silence returned as Naruto returned back to his scrolls and Yugao looked for something decent to wear.

"Hey Yugao-san?" she turned and looked at him as he put the scroll in the one of his pockets. "Can I go out to meet Sasuke?"

'This would work out great she! She could be with her friends and Naruto would be occupied with Sasuke. Perfect.' "Ok, but be careful! No mobs" he nodded before running to her and pulling her into hug. She picked up the blonde and kissed his cheek, while he whined about her putting him down.

Not soon after he left her friends came by and the two went about their day.

With Sasuke and Naruto

"Yo" sasuke called out as he spotted Naruto at Ichiraku, blonde looked back at him while slurping down his Ramen. "What's up Sasuke!" the uchiha looked away in disgust before reprimanding his friend. "Could you not talk and eat at the same time" Naruto just frowned back at him, "it would have been impolite to leave you hanging!" The Uchiha frowned as he did it again. "What you're doing is more impolite!". He noticed Ayame giggle at their exchange and decided to greet her. "Good morning Ayame-san" he could feel Naruto's glare as she responded. "What is it dobe" he asked the blonde who had now finished with his meal.

"Stop trying to flirt with Ayame-san" he called out as he accusingly pointed his finger at the Uchiha, who was blushed a bit. "I'm not! I was just being polite" he defended himself. "Yeah, you're right Sasuke" he said sarcastically. Both boys began glaring daggers at each other.

"Calm down boys" Ayame said giggling at the two. "There's no need to fight, You know that you're my one and only Naruto-kun" she said making the blonde grin. "That's rather unfortunate you'd have to spend your life with a dobe" the uchiha remarked as he followed with a slight chuckle.

The blonde paid for his meal and waved Ayame goodbye as he and Sasuke headed for the training ground. The blonde pulled out the scroll and showed it to the uchiha. "well I know Uchihas all got fire style but I wonder if I have another element" he closed the scroll and handed it back to the blonde.

"Well we might as well improve on the jutsus we already know" Naruto nodded and the two began sparring.

With Yugao

Yugao had just finished eating a meal with her friends and two decided to take a stroll around village because why not. The walk was mainly just Anko making fun of randoms, while it was fun she missed her blonde energetic fur ball. As they walked by the academy they saw a large crowd and Kurenai persuaded them to check out what was happening, as they drew closer and closer and they heard the chants "fight, fight". "It looks like some kids brawling" Anko said with a taste of disappointment. Yugao who was much interested went to get a closer look to see Naruto and who she assumed was Sasuke going head to head with two genin.

With the boys

"You two are going to pay for the last time" the genin said looking down menacingly at them. Sasuke looked back at the genin sizing him up and down, "do we know you?". The genin furious by that remark lunged at the uchiha but before his punch could land his arm crushed into an earth wall.

"Arghhh" he cried out in pain as Uchiha smirked out, giving a glance at Naruto probably to thank him for the cover. "who would have thought the demon and traitorous uchiha would make a good combo" he spat as he signalled two other genins to join the frame. "We'll teach you a lesson"

"Oh now this might actually get interesting!" Anko said as pushed herself in front of the crowd, Kurenai sighed as she stood by her both her friends but noticed Yugao had a sort of intense look on her face.

"Look we were here first, why don't you go play Ninja somewhere else" the uchiha told the harshly. "That's not how it works here, we're a higher rank so we have authority" the genin snarled as he walked towards the two. "You rank means nothing if you can't handle a bunch of kids" Naruto spat back at the boy. "fine then, we'll teach you what it means to be genin" and with that the brawl started.

"ouuu their finally starting!" Anko started cheering she turned to see her friend having s serious stare at the fight it. "wow she's really into it!" anko whispered to Kurenai who nodded in agreement.

Two of the genin charged at them while one stood back hurling Kunai at them, Naruto and sasuke jumped back dodging the first attacks from them but then were confronted with a bunch of kunai.

"[wind style: Dust wind technique]" the blonde said as he shot a gust wind which sent the kunai flying back at them and temporarily blinding them with two genin with dust. The uchiha then leaps into the air to follow with an attack of his own. "[fire style: flame flower]" he shoots a small fire ball into the sky which explodes and small burning pedals rain down on the two blinded by the dust.

[earth style: Earth wall] the genin at the back weaved the signs as the earth began to encase his fellow shinobi in the wall in hopes to shield them from the assault above however leaving himself open.

"woahh this kids are good!" Anko said as she watched in disbelief, "Indeed their combos are well coordinated for this age" the two nodded in agreement as they looked back at their friend and noticed how she'd loosened up a bit. "she's acting weird" Anko whispered into Kurenai ear who just nodded back in agreement. But they turned their attention back to the fight.

The uchiha noticed the genin at the back had left himself open, he figured he could get a cheap shot on him but as he fell back down he lost the balance and angle to do so. "Naruto!" he yelled catching the blonde's attention who immediately understood what the Uchiha wanted, "coming right up!" [wind style: Gale palm] the blonde sent a gust of wind at uchiha temporarily pushing him back up in the sky sending him closer to the genin at the back who hadn't noticed the uchiha flying towards him.

[Fire style: Fire ball jutsu] the Uchiha shot the fireball at the genin who hadn't seen it coming he moved out of the path of the fireball and by doing such wasn't able to fully shield his teammates who got hit with Uchiha's previous move.

"Woah that was close one! They nearly ended the whole fight right there" Kurenai remarked as watched on, Anko could only nod in agreement. "You know the Uchiha kid is pretty good with his fire style" she told Kurenai who nodded in agreement. "Well he's Itachi Uchiha's younger brother after all, he must be training with him." she told her friend.

"Well I like Naruto's support play, without they wouldn't controlling the battle" Yugao said with small plastered on her face as her two friends stared at her like she was a whole different person.

"Oh so that's the Naruto we've been hearing so much about" Anko remarked as she took a good look at the blonde. "Well he does fit the reports, and he is quite the troublesome one" Kurenai nodded. "I think it's part of his charm" she said as the two looked at her again, Anko's look turned into a grin.

"Seems like someone has a crush" Anko cooed as she jumped on her teammate, "Anko, you're crushing me!" Kurenai face palmed and turned her direction back to the fight. "Hey guy's the fight is over" Anko quickly pulled herself of Yugao to see the Blonde and Uchiha standing over the 3 genin.

"You know what? You can guys can keep the training ground, you look like you need it" the Uchiha growled as he and Naruto made their way out of the ground they were met by an angry audience probably because of Naruto. "I'll see you later Naruto!" the uchiha waved as he went home. Tiny pebbles and rocks and thrown at the pair as they exited while other villages called the pair names, "Fucking demons" one of the villagers spat.

"Shut up!" Yugao growled at one of them, "You don't know anything about them, so what gives you the right to call them that?" The man just glared at her "Are you kidding me? Did you not just see what they did to our genin?" she got up the floor and sent a glare straight back at him. "If you ask me, the genin started this and they had the upper hand" the man who was just suddenly joined by others started throwing glares at her.

"You can back the demon and his associate all you want girl, but I won't be deceived" the man said as the other villagers nodded in agreement and began to walk away. "He isn't a demon! Take it back" she yelled as her friends stared at her with confusion all over their faces. "Look here, I'm not taking back shit! I meant what I meant." She was about to lunge at the man but her friends stood in her away.

"Look sir, I don't know what you have against the kid but surely it doesn't give you the right to give him crap so how about you leave" the men scoffed and left. "Sorry guys" Yugao apologised to her friends as they softly smiled at her.

"It was nothing, but you have to promise us one thing!" Kurenai told her. "Okay, what is it?" she responded

"You've got some explaining to do" she looked back at her friend. "About him" she said pointing behind her, Yugao turned around to see the blonde standing right beside her with a foxy grin.

"Hello! Yugao san's friends" he greeted them leading her to sigh. 'It's going to be a long day'
