Yugao's apartment
Yugao watched as Naruto and Anko devoured the food on their plates like they were competing between who would finish first, this put a smile a Kurenai's face as she made the meal. She looked at Yugao who looked quite nervous about the whole situation. "so Yugao you promised us something" she and Anko stared at her intently as naruto joined. "What did Yugao-san promise?" he asked only for Anko to respond to him. She called the blonde who scurried over to her, she then whispered "She was going to strip for us". The blonde looked at her she was crazy. "Why would she do that in the open?" he replied Anko with confusion plastered all over his face but now it was Anko who was confused. 'He didn't seem bothered that she was going to strip' her face of confusion turned into a wicked smile.
"You know I think I understand everything now" Anko said as she ruffled the blonde's hair. "Naruto is Yugao's boyfriend" Yugao nodded in confirmation, it took her a few moments before she realised what she had agreed too. "Wait no" she bolted out of her seat tried to defend herself but ending up fumbling her words. "Is she like this, Naruto" Kurenai asked him while Yugao had spaced out. "I guess only when she's embarrassed" he responded Kurenai who just stared into his blue eyes. They reminded him of someone but she couldn't place her finger on it.
"He's not my boyfriend, he's too young!" they finally heard the last part of her rant. "You're right" Anko said much to Yugao's pleasure. "Naruo when you get older, You must use your god given weapon to service Yugao okay?" the blonde nodded back slowly in confusion which left Anko grinning and Yugao blushing. She sighed as she sat back into her seat while Kurenai laughed.
"Okay Yugao I want to hear the story from you" Kurenai said smiling at her and Anko nodded in agreement. "Well I would but It's classified information so a certain someone can't be here" she said as she stared at Naruto, who sighed. "Fine, I'm going to take a shower then" he said as he left them, Yugao tried to stop him but Anko silenced her with her snakes. "Hey! Not cool" she whined.
"You know it seemed like you wanted to bathe with Naruto" Anko said grinning. "No I just enjoy washing his hair" she defended herself.
"Well I guess I'll start with how it happened…."
With Sasuke
Itachi walks in to see a tired Sasuke laying on wall beside the wall. He carries him on his back towards his room and meets his mother, Mikoto. "He's been waiting there ever since he returned from his training with Naruto" Itachi smiled as his brother put his head in his chest. "You know maybe just maybe….you could wait a little longer before you leave tomorrow" she pleaded to him, he nodded and walked to her giving her hug. "I will" he said as he took Sasuke to his room. Mikoto was jovial after this hug, 'now I have to make the best dinner ever!' she said as she walked back into the kitchen.
Itachi sat down as he began to write out a training regime for Sasuke, He'd wanted to put all his knowledge into scrolls into which he'd leave to Sasuke before the 'big night'. "Brother what are you doing?" he turned around to meet Sasuke rubbing his eyes while walking towards him, he slid the paper under the desk.
"Well I came to tell you I witnessed your big fight today" Sasuke smiled when he heard Itachi had watched the fight. "and what did you think?" he asked his older brother who had put his fingers on his chin in a thinking pose. "Well you should be able to shoot your fire balls more consistently" he told him. "But overall a good performance, although Naruto I'd say is a little ahead of you" Sasuke's face twisted to one of sadness. "But that's good, because now you know who're your supposed to surpass, tomorrow I'll take you through and new jutsu"
"That's what you always say" sasuke scoffed but he saw Itachi signal him to come but as he drew closer he used his two fingers to tap his head. "It all depends on you Sasuke"
Back at Yugao's apartment
Anko and Kurenai were left horrified by what Yugao had told them about beaten up Naruto but were also surprised to know he healed within a few hours, though that may be because she didn't tell them about the kyuubi. It was still classified after all, "So the villagers hate him because he was coincidentally born on the same day" Kurenai shuddered at that thought although she knew it was not the only reason. Kurenai was about to ask another question but she heard knocking on the door.
"Yo" was the greeting Yugao received as she opened the door to meet the silver haired 'jonin' now, she scowled at his nonchalant greeting. She left the open as he walked in reading his book, "Yo" he greeted her two friends.
"Could you stop with the 'yo' and greet like a normal human being, captain?" she scolded him. " Did anyone ever tell you you're controlling" he said not taking his eyes off the book while the Kurenai and Anko stared at the two.
"Anko, Kurenai this is Kakashi, Kakashi vice versa. Forgive him he has no manners!" she scowled at him. "Ouch you wound me" he said with his eyes glued in the book and no emotion in his voice. "Are you kidding of course we know who he is" Anko yelled out while she started rambling as he Kurenai shut her up.
"What are you doing here Captain?" she asked as politely as she could get. "I came to see Naruto of course, I have something I want to teach him" She pointed to the bathroom. "Oh? Surprisingly you're not grooming him" she blushed whiles Anko grinned. "So I was right".
"No you were not" Soon a few minutes later the blonde came out of the shower with his pyjamas on and wet hair, water dripping onto the clothes. "Yo" Kakashi called out as Naruto beamed towards him in a flash. "Kakashi sensei!" he beamed as the jonin put his book aside to catch him in his arms.
"How are you doing?" he asked the blonde who was coming to start talking about his day but was shushed by the Cyclops. "On second thought save it for when we're going" the blonde looked at him confused.
"Where are we going?" he asked him. "Yeah we are you going" Yugao also asked the man. "It's classified" he told as she received glares from him. "Don't be like that Yugao, I'll bring your boyfriend back before dawn."
"You better" was all she replied the masked jonin before she looked over to blonde "see you later Naruto" he waved back and left with Kakashi. "Tell me Yugao, how did you get soo many guys in your life so quick" Anko asked as she just received her stare. "Kakashi is training Naruto?" Yugao nodded. "That's interesting, I guess that's where all those strategic plays came from" Yugao nodded back at her with s smile, "I guess it did."
"And what do you teach Naruto" Anko asked her, a question that made her truly think. She'd taught him manners but that didn't count. She'd taught him how to throw shuriken and kunai, but that didn't count also because Kakashi was doing same. It took her a few moments to notice she hadn't been teaching him anything just babying him. Her friends noticed her answer when she slumped in defeat.
"Don't worry, I'm sure can teach him about swords or something" Kurenai suggested but was shot down by Anko. "Nope, his body couldn't handle the weight of a normal sword right now" she told her to which Yugao nodded in agreement. "Then there's no helping it, you'll have to wait till he's older" Kurenai told her friend placing her hand on her shoulder.
She yawned as she looked at the time, "Sorry Yugao but I have to go, I got a mission tomorrow" Kurenai told her as Anko followed suite. "See you later" they waved on before leaving. And for the first time in a while Yugao realised she was all alone.
With Naruto
"Kakashi sensei where are we?" the blonde asked as Kakashi held his hand as they walked in the dark to a closed part of the village. A place only he knew, A place that could only be opened by Naruto. "A friend's place." Was all he said and Naruto knew if he didn't say more it means he shouldn't ask more.
They reached an area which was enclosed by walls, Kakashi then looked left and right before kneeling down to the blonde. "Look Naruto, there's a seal I need you to open and only you can open it" the blonde slowly nodded and climbed unto the masked man's back. "I don't see a seal sensei"
"Push chakra into eyes, it should allow you to locate the seal" The blonde did so as he could now faintly see the markings of the seal. He placed his hand on the seal and it turned green for a moment before revealing a pathway between the rocks. Naruto awed as he witnessed the reveal of the pathway.
"Good job buddy, stay here. I'll be back soon." The blonde nodded as Kakashi normally leaves no room for discussion. Kakashi walked into the place his master had planned bring to Naruto when he was old enough, why Kakashi was here though? He wanted to recover and or teach the blonde some of his father's jutsus. He figured he'd (Naruto) be the only person who could use this jutsu after the fourth's passing. He also intended to teach him about the uzumaki sealing jutsu. As he walked around his mind replayed memories in which his sensei brought him here.
Flashback
"Kakashi, this is where I intend to bring kid or kids for training once he's old enough" his mentor, the fourth Hokage told him as they both roamed through the area. "That's great sensei but why are you showing me this?" Kakashi asked with all politeness even though he thought he came off rude.
Minato just chuckled at him, "Man, you really are dense! I'm showing you this because you're family and I honestly don't see myself being able to entertain my kids while being Hokage that end if I don't make it out to teach my kid." He said in a monotone voice, Kakashi nodded fully understanding his master's request.
Flashback end
"I'm sorry sensei" Kakashi roamed around in the shelves as he looked for the scrolls on it, until he came about it. He picked up the scroll that read 'Flying Rajin'. He picked it up and jumped down as he saw two of his sensei's Kunai. Picking them up he remembered when his sensei tried teaching him the jutsu but unfortunately for him although he understood the basics he just couldn't perform it right. He could only travel five steps in the direction where he placed the Kunai.
"He can do it, I know he can" but he began thinking of the draw backs for when he first used it. 'I shouldn't rush him, I should wait till he has good control of his chakra but I could start by teaching him how to create the mark at least.' Kakashi was torn between what to do. 'Sensei, I need your help what do I do' he said looking into sky. He looked to his side when he noticed a box fall over. He went over to box witnessing it fault to pick it up, when he looked in it he was amazed when he saw premade kunai's with the mark already and inscribed on them. Under that box too was a white cloak, much like what his mentor wore but without the Hokage written on the back.
'It looks like it was sown to fit him(Kakashi), he just realised his sensei must have really thought of him to be family and wasn't trying to cheer up over the death of his comrades. This time he would protect his family and those close to him. Kakashi ended up only picking the scroll and leaving the Kunai behind. 'I'll teach him once he graduated the academy' when he walked out he of the Cave it resealed closing the door.
"So… what did you get Sensei" Naruto asked beaming surely something this hidden must contain some super awesome jutsu. "My sensei's jutsu" he simply said as the blonde's eyes glimmered with stars filling them. "Alright when do we start!" the blonde asked hyped about his new jutsu but Kakashi quickly shot him down. "You'll get these once you graduate the academy" he said as he and the blonde began to walk home. The blonde continued to whine on the way home. "Also don't ever tell anyone what you saw" the blonde nodded and continued to whine all the way home.
Meanwhile
Yugao found herself tossing and turning herself in her Why did she find it hard to sleep tonight. Kakashi had lied it had been a good 10 minutes since he promised to bring the blonde back. she heard knocking as she rushed to the door to see Kakashi carrying the blonde on his back. She sent glares at him.
"Couldn't sleep?" he asked her as she throws daggers at him but responds with a nod, he sighs as he places the blonde slightly in her bed. "Yugao, I truly admire your dedication to Naruto but do remember we're not going to watch him forever. He's going to the academy soon and.."
"Don't parents take care of their children even though they're in the academy?" she said as she looked at him laying in her bed. "They do but we aren't parents, you're 13 and in quickly rising up the ranks in the Anbu. You can't balance the two out and I don't think Naruto would like you sacrificing your job to attend to him" Yugao stood in front of him in thought she knew it was right but she couldn't just abandon him.
"What about you Captain?" she asked him. He only looked back at the blonde and smiled, "He's grown for his age he'll manage without me until he finishes the academy"
"You're gonna leave him for this long? Can you really?" she asked the masked man. "No, he'll have to settle for visits once in a while" he told her as walked out. "You have 3 months more before he starts the academy try to tell him, if you can't I'd do it for you. Make your time with him worthwhile" He disappeared.
Yugao climbed the bed and faced the blonde. Watching his chest lightly move she cradled him into her chest. "Yugao-san…" she heard him call out in his sleep. "Yeah?" she didn't receive any responde she passed her hand through his golden locks. She planted a kiss on his cheek as she drifted bed.
