Part 10

So anyway back to business….. Sorry but I need to get to the more important parts of the story so there will be a bit of Time skips.

Naruto sprung up from his bed, how long had he been having those dreams and being sleep deprived? Since he could remember but it never stopped him. These so called 'dreams' were a daily reminder that he couldn't control the fox's demonic power and that it couldn't be trusted. Although it was only thing he could do the destruction that followed was disgusting and repulsive. But why was he be hunted of the scenes that transcended that evening it was over a year ago. Time had flown so quick, it was just a few days from his 10th birthday and since becoming a ninja people had warmed up to him via most of the 'foxy' activities never get out to the public otherwise he wouldn't be as loved. He hopped out of the bed and covered head to toe in a cloak, he exited the house.

Yugao was patrolling the around the hokage office as she took a different kind of work now, she was now super committed to her boyfriend and couldn't imagine her life without him. In fact right after her shift they were going on a date. She could feel her cheeks grow warmer and her lips curve into a smile, all this was halted when a shadow zoomed passed the building. She sat in meditation pose and began to sense around for any off chakra, anyone moving that fast should at least have a spike of chakra. To her surprise she couldn't sense a goddamn thing, she jumped down and began searching, alerting her other watchmen. Now the whole patrol was searching, just then she saw a shadow blitz to her right and then another to her left. So they were two? No! she stated as dozens shadows moved around them making them back together. Preparing for an immediate assault, they unsheathed their blades and held them up…

"Hey gramps!" the blond greeted as he walked climbed in through the window removing his hooded cloak. "ahhh… so it was you causing all that commotion outside" he smiled as he pulled a seat beside him and tapped on it. "Here for more I presume?" Naruto nodded as he took his seat beside the old man, making a bunch of scrolls appear around them. Hiruzen watched attentively as the blond scanned through the scrolls, "find anything?" Naruto responded with a shake of his head. What exactly was he looking for? Just some of his father's old notes he needed to perfect the Jutsu and even hopefully add more to it.

His eyes widened as he scanned one of the scrolls and then a wide grin appeared all across his face, "got it" Hiruzen smiled as within a clap all the scrolls disappeared. He watched the Blonde disappear within a flash, to him allowing Naruto to all the knowledge to his father's jutsu was a way of repaying them for the rocky life beginning to life Naruto experienced.

They prepared for the impending attack but then all the 'shadows' disappeared in a puff of smoke, leaving everyone confused but throwing away those feelings they rushed to the building only to meet Hiruzen staring at them like they had gone mad.

Naruto slid away from the office and now as if on cue his eyes felt heavy, finally sleep had returned to him as he sped back to his apartment.

1 year later

It had been an very eventful 12 months for Naruto, the higher ranked missions just kept on coming and so did the rewards and slowly slowly he was getting closer to his goal. But in his ninja life, he was getting ready for one of his toughest tests in his life yet….. The Chuunin exams. Naruto had been giddy the past 12 months as Kakashi announced it to the team then, so he'd been going crazy and now by the end of his 11th year on this world he'd be Chuunin if permitted. Today was the day when, they discussed the training schedule for the exams. He perched from his window and looked at the village as his two bangs at each side of his face swung from side to side, he'd practically turned into a clone of his father but he often cut them off as he'd been warned by Yugao, Kakashi and Hiruzen that it would arouse suspicion and could even make enemy nations target him. However today he was already late and he did in fact have things planned for today that couldn't be postponed either. Jumping out he made his way towards the Team 7 training ground.

"sorry I'm late gu-" Naruto wanted to apologise until he realised he was actually for once super early and in response he grinned to himself. "That's kind of creepy you know" he heard a familiar voice tell him, a way too familiar voice. He looked around and saw nobody finally he scanned around and he did sense a signal and it was right on top of him. Before he could even react a Kunoichi landed right on top of him, pinning him to the ground as her purple hair covered most of face. "you win Yugao-san" he wheezed out causing her to cartwheel over him to the nearest tree.

"how are you Naruto-kun?" The blond grunted as he rose up to his feet dusting his clothes off, "I'm good, you?" she nodded her head in agreement and that was all that was said between the two. Naruto retreated to the opposite side of her location and began reading some scroll, Yugao stared at him from afar. He's not been the same since that night, everything about him has changed or maybe that's how I look it? After all half of it is still my fault but then again what was I expected to do?

As I slight wind blew around the training the ground she noticed his bangs swing from side to side, "I thought you were told to cut them?" She said as she moved closer to the blond. "It escaped me and asides from Ayame-chan no one will really give haircut" he responded without taking his eyes off the scroll he was reading. It hurt, the way they interacted now. They used to be so close but now it's like they've never met before.

"Well I can do it for you! After all I did use to when you were a child" she suggested, mainly because they just needed sometime to bond because after all he was like a little brother to her. "I can really do it later-"

"Please" at that Naruto felt his heart warm up and his face softened, he closed the scroll and sat up straight. "Fine" Immediately she pulled out a scroll of her own in which she pulled out a pair of scissors. She saw the curious look plastered on the blond's face, "It's also a weapon" Naruto chuckled as he felt her grip his head. "Enough of the movement"

And for the next 20 minutes she conversed with the blond for the first time in a long time.

Sasuke and Sakura had just arrived to the training ground expecting to be the latest but were surprised to hear two voices, one being Naruto's and the other unfamiliar at least to Sakura but to the Uchiha he had an idea who it was. As soon as they crossed to meet their knucklehead teammate, they were met with a purple haired beauty who was brushing off the blond. Sasuke scanned around but didn't see nor sense Kakashi anywhere and being the person that he is he sits rather far away from the two and begins to meditate. Yugao who had just brushed his acts off decided to revaluate her decisions, throwing a kunai at the Uchiha who barely dodged it. "It wouldn't kill to greet, Sasuke" he grunted as he went back to his meditation state. Naruto sighed as he got up to stretch his legs, he noticed Sakura staring in their direction with hatred boiling in her.

"Who the hell are you?" she said as she looked up to the Kunoichi, who tied her hair in a bun and pulled out a staff from her scroll, "Yugao Uzuki" she stated simply as her eyes dotted from the boys. "The two of you training begins in 5 minutes". She looked back at Sakura with a smile on her face, "and you?"Sakura who was taken aback by the change of the tone so quickly stuttered her name out in response. "Oh so you're Naruto's crush?" her face reddened as the older woman teased her, "yes unfortunately, I'd rather be Sasuke-kun's crush" Yugao chuckled at that for looking in the direction of guilty party, Naruto. He was doing some jumps and skips at the moment. 'so the girl really does feel nothing for him'

5 minutes later the 3 gathered around her, "Okay I'm not sure if your captain told you but he's very busy at the moment so he asked me to take over your session today" They all nodded in agreement, 'this isn't so hard, why did Captain make it seem like they were uncontrollable brats' "so then what will we be learning today" Sakura asked her. "Teamwork, the Three of you will have to render me unable to move to pass the test and if you get past me I'll pit two of you against the other. They all nodded and awaited further command, this resulted in them receiving a look of confusion from her. "what are you waiting for?" Yugao asked the 3. "You haven't said start" Naruto informed her making her look at the them as if they were mad, "does Captain Kakashi say start everytime?" they all nodded responding in a sigh as she said start and the test began.

Kakashi walked up to his training ground to see many of the tress and infact the whole vegetation burnt, uprooted or plain out destroyed. His eyes darted to his right as he caught what seemed to be a stray kunai, looking to the right he saw Naruto and Sasuke trying to team up to attack Yugao. And each attempt of an attack was easily blocked or dodged by the kunoichi or the jutsus failed to connect. Naruto was hoping between the remaining trees in training ground, 'how were they going to land it? They couldn't even carve out a good opening!' His eyes darted at his Uchiha teammate who didn't look like he was done either. Kakashi felt a smile appear across his face, His expression changed as he looked to see his only female student on sitting with her back pressed on a tree. "why are you sitting here?" Sakura looked up to her sensei, surely he knew by now everyone knew! She wasn't any help to the team. She wasn't even sure if she should take the Chuunin exams. "I wouldn't be of any help"

"hm? Why do you think that?" Sakura was about to comment but he cut her off "because you can't perform jutsu's like them? It's true you've not got anything that you're special that but you can be good at something as long as you work hard on it" Sakura nodded as she wiped her tears away, "you're right" Kakashi helped her up to her feet and whispered something to her "You can ask the nice lady kicking our boys asses, she's very skilled in a lot of areas" The two turned in direction of the fight, Naruto had created about a hundred clones, each one launching attacks but no matter the amount of chakra put into the wind jutsu it didn't move Yugao. She'd used a staff and implanted it into the earth preventing any of the gusts from moving her. Sasuke saw this an a wonderful opportunity he too created a clone of his own giving a signal to Naruto, and immediately the blonde dispersed every single clone.

'hmmm they done' she asked as she slowly removed her staff from the soil, she couldn't see much because of the dust and smoke from the blonde's frequent gust attacks. Putting the staff back into scroll, she withdraws her blade as the sounds of footsteps becomes agonizingly loud. However she wasn't prepared as a dozen clones jumped her, holding her down whiles she saw the Uchiha stand at a distance and what seemed to be a clone as well from the opposite direction.

'they wouldn't dare!' the hand signs for the fire ball jutsu was weaved by the Sasukes and quite unfortunately for her, she couldn't weaken the grip of the Naruto's. She watched as the fireball drew closer, she couldn't out muscle them so she did the most effective but dangerous move ever, something banned by all shinobi… she pecked one of the clones on the cheek, causing it to loosen it's grip and in turn free the hand with the blade, which she used to take out every clone before encasing herself in a mud wall to block the Uchiha's attack.

'Dammit!' the both groaned but before either of them could regroup they felt a kunai on their throats. "That's enough don't you think" Kakashi clapped getting their attention, "Yeah I do think it's enough! How about we call it a day for training and get something to eat" The 4 stared at him like he was possessed. "what? We have urgent matter's to discuss.
