Day 341, 6:00 AM

Gathering their things, Deku and Kaminari head to the common area with suitcases in hand. Wait a second, after they remember they're going to be riding a bike, they opt to take a backpack instead. So they unpack their briefcases and put their supplies, clothing, and other stuff in the bags. Kaminari grabs his jacket; he can't leave his jacket behind, while Deku grabs his green jumpsuit from his mother.

Kamakiri approaches them, holding several cans of food in his hand. "Well, even though I think you don't deserve it, you at least get some of our rations to help you survive in the wild. Again, I don't approve of it but the majority ruled that you should at least take some food with you." He hands them the cans before pulling out two medicine bottles. "And you get two bottles of medicine. Ibuprofen and antibiotics; use them wisely, obviously."

"Thank you." Deku takes the medicine.

"You know, I half-expected you to be humble and say 'no, take the food and medicine' but I guess not."

"Would you be humble and have said 'no'?"

Kamakiri ponders. "No."

"Exactly. I don't want to take this food and medicine but we're going out in the wild so... we may need it." Or at least Kaminari will need it. I deserve to die but not him.

"Good luck."

Deku turns and heads to meet with Kaminari, who is busy chatting with his social group, the Kamisquad.

"This is really happening," Mineta realizes as he sits on Kenta's shoulders. "I can't believe that you're going to be leaving us."

"We are," Kaminari confirms.

"We should've fought harder to keep you here," Kenta claims. "Hey, we'll figure it out sooner or later."

"The majority of the classes want us gone. It's lame but..." Kaminari looks down. "Nobody changed their mind about their vote last night."

"Then we should go with you," Kuroiro suggests. He nods. "Yeah, let's go with you and-"

"No," Kaminari interrupts. "Look, guys, it's dangerous out there. I want to stay. I so desperately want to stay but... no. Please, stay here, where the rest of our friends and family are."

"If we were friends and family, then we wouldn't be kicking you out, shrooms," Komori points out. "Our class representative wanted you two to stay but the majority wanted you gone."

"I understand," Kaminari nods. "But, it's better this way. I mean, two is better than twenty." He cracks a smile. "Besides, I can survive out there."

"Can you?" Jirou asks suddenly. "Can you survive out there, dummy?"

"I can." His smile remains. "I'm awesome on my dirt bike. And my parkour skills are insane, right? Plus, I got Deku helping me out; he's like the smartest dude I know."

"Kaminari, anyone standing next to you is the smartest person you'll know," Jirou jabs at him.

Kaminari rolls his eyes. "Come on, Jirou, I'm about to be exiled permanently and you're making a joke?" Man, I can't believe I'm actually going to miss that. Man, I never even got the chance to confess to her how much I love her. Now, I'm going to live a life full of-

NO! I can still confess to her. I'll tell her that I love her before I leave.

He sees Mineta, Kuroiro, Komori, and Kenta looking at him tensely.

But there are so many people watching me. Maybe I can do it some other time. Like, maybe when I get back.

He looks over at Deku.

Huh, I wonder if Deku will confess to Uraraka.

Deku stops by Uraraka on his way to regroup with Kaminari.

The auburn-haired girl looks at him sadly. "I'm sorry, Deku, I really am."

"No, I'm the one who should be apologizing," Deku argues. "I'm the one who brought all this." Without realizing it, his line of sight falls on her chest. "The sins of our fathers, right?"

"It's not right; you're not responsible for what your father has done. Nor are you responsible for what your brother has done."

"All for One is not my father and Shigaraki is not my brother. They're just a bunch of good-for-nothing villains who ruined my life; ruined all of our lives. I just want to disappear and if it means leaving, then I'll do it. Please, Uraraka, don't follow me. Don't follow me and Kaminari. If something bad happened to you on your way to rescue us, then I could never forgive myself."

Deku reaches over and hugs Uraraka tightly, holding her chest close to his to feel her heart. "Thank you for saving me when I tripped on the day of the entrance."

Uraraka reaches over and hugs him tightly. "It was no trouble, Deku." She pulls back, showing him the tears rolling down her face. "Looks like I picked up your knack for crying."

Deku laughs. "Yeah, I've been told my waterworks is contagious." He hugs her again. "Goodbye, Uraraka. I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you too, Deku. I have faith you'll make it. Remember what I said about your name?"

"I do." Deku turns and meets up with Kaminari. "And I won't forget."

Kaminari watches Deku pass by him and looks over at Jirou.

Deku didn't confess his love for her. Should I confess my love?

"It's been fun, Pikachu," Jirou says. "I'm going to miss you turning stupid whenever you fry your brain."

"I'm going to miss the times you and I peeped on some girls," Mineta admits. "And the time we tricked the girls into wearing cheerleading outfits."

Kenta smiles, high-fiving the pervert. "Thanks for saving me from the beast back in Hosu City."

Kuroiro and Komori lunge and trap Kaminari in a bear hug.

"We've been buddy-buddies since the beginning," Kuroiro remembers.

"It's been fun," Komori nods.

Kaminari pulls away. He allows Mienta and Kenta to hug him.

As the big boy and tiny boy pul away, Kaminari turns to Jirou.

"Take care, Jamming-Yay."

She hugs him. Kaminari feels his face heat as he wraps his arms around her, relishing in the feel of her touch.

"You too." He pulls away. "Hey, the next time we see each other, I hope you become a super cool punk rock rockstar. I'll buy all your CDs and listen to it day and night."

Jirou chuckles. "We'll see."

With their goodbyes done, Kamianri and Deku walk through the front doors and into the front yard. The 1-B students help Kaminari load up his dirt bike. After fueling up, Kaminari hops on his black and yellow dirt bike with a black lightning bolt spray painted on the front.

Deku grabs Kaminari's backpack and throws it on his back where the other backpack is. He climbs on the back of the dirtbike and puts his hands around the electric boy's stomach.

The front doors open after checking to see that the coast is clear. Kaminari starts up the bike before looking over his shoulder.

"Goodbye," the class says to them.

The two wave to them. "Goodbye," both boys say, their eyes landing on their crushes.

Kamianri revs up the bike before riding through the gate, disappearing into the woods as the students close the gate.

"Jesus Christ," Kaibara says, "they're really gone."

Shiozaki looks over. "Please don't use that name in vain. At least not in front of me."

"Sorry."

"They're going," Sero mutters, "they're really gone." He nods. "We're better off without them." He turns on his heels and walks back. Shiozaki follows him.

"I can't believe it," Bakugou gasps. "Deku and Sparky are gone." Looking at the dorms, he narrows his eyes. "We're done two more people in our group." Seeing Uraraka cry, Bakugou puts his hand on her shoulder. He does the same when he sees members of the Kamisquad cry their eyes out while simultaneously comforting each other.

With Deku and Kamiarni

Riding through the forest, Kaminari keeps a sharp eye out for the path he takes. He makes sure to keep an eye out for any potential traps like the one he nearly ran into a couple of months ago.

"Where are we going, Deku?" Kaminari slows the speed. "I mean, we can keep going on this path but this path leads into the city."

"We definitely want to avoid the city. But, where should we go?"

"Camping?"

Kaminari shakes his head. "I am not camping in zombie-infested woods."

"We'll figure it out."

"What if we go back to Hosu City? I mean, the place should be clear of most of the zombies by now." He pauses. "Then again, it's probably overrun by zombies. And if beasts are there, we're dead."

"We'll figure it out." Deku looks around. "We'll find somewhere to hunker down for a while. Like, a cabin, maybe."

"I've been riding my bike up and down this path for months and I haven't found any cabins."

"Then we'll head to the suburbs." He pauses. "Maybe we can go back home and..."

Kaminari slowly puts on the brakes. "Do you really want to go home? I mean, after your mother-"

"It's okay."

Kaminari pants the handle. "If you want, we can head over to my house. My parents could be home and..." He gasps. "Hold on, maybe we can go to the Musutafu Civilian Shelter. Maybe my parents will be there. My little sister."

"But it's in the city."

Kaminari looks at him. "What are you saying?"

"We've been trying to avoid the city because there are hordes of zombies there. The Musutafu Civilian Shelter is in the middle of the city and it's been almost a year. It would take a miracle for it to still be standing."

"Maybe there is a miracle, right?" Kaminari shrugs. "The Bystanders lived in the Hosu Civilian Shelter and survived for a few months."

"Yeah, months, not almost a year."

Kaminari presses his lips together, fearing the worst.

"Look, maybe the shelter is still standing but... we need to find somewhere to settle down. We need to find somewhere to sleep and catch our breath just in case. But... is it worth it, Kaminari?" Deku looks him in the eyes. "If we're wrong, we're going to be chased by every walker, runner, brainiac, and beast in the city."

"Beasts," Kaminari shivers, "I can't stand the beasts. Especially the hunter beast."

"You think it's still hunting you?"

"Not only hunting me but also stalking me."

"Now you know how I feel with Shgaraki."

"Ha, archenemies." Kaminari turns away. "But why did my archenemy have to be a beast that's bigger than me?"

"Why did my archenemy have to be my brother?" Deku sarcastically asks. "Just how things are."

"Yeah, sucks."

Deku pats him on the back. "Let's just find some shelter and then we'll discuss our options. Come on, we'll figure it out."

"Okay." Kaminari revs up the bike.

Focusing on the path in front of him, Kaminari clutches the handles again and lets muscle memory get to work on the dirt bike. Feeling Deku wrap his arms around his waist tighter, his thoughts drift back to Jirou.

Damn it. Damn it, why didn't I confess to her? I should've fought harder. Damn it, why did they have to vote for us to be gone? We didn't mean for what happened to happen and they want us gone? What the fuck is wrong with them?!

A tear springs from his eyes.

I put my life on the line to bring them supplies and this is the thanks I get?! Goddamn all of you! Goddamn everyone who voted to kick me and Deku out; I hope something bad happens to all of you.

UA Dorms

"They're gone," Kirishima mutters to himself on the sofa, "they're really gone."

Shoji looks around. "The place feels a lot smaller without them."

"It does," Mina nods. "Do you think we should've-"

"We're better off without them," Sero tells them. "They're gone, just get over it." He pats his knees before heading to his room.

Shiozaki follows after him once again.

Bakugou sits on the other couch with Uraraka beside him. Seeing her sobbing, he offers her a shoulder to lean on, despite the many eyes on him. Rolling his eyes and looking to the ground, Bakugou licks his lower lip before clenching his fists.

That damn nerd! The stupid Pikachu bastard! the two of you are going to make it out there. Fuck, they're not going to make it.

Bakugou carefully pushes Uraraka off of him as he walks out of view. Kirishima and Mina notice and follow after him. Without rhyme or reason, Uraraka does the same.

Bakugou leads everyone to his room, including Mina, Kirishima, and Uraraka. Locking the door, he sits on his bed and addresses everyone in the room.

"Who here is pissed about what happened to Deku and Sparky?"

"Izuku and Kaminari," Kirishima corrects.

"I know their names, Shitty Hair." He sighs heavily and places his elbows on his knees. "What they did was wrong; keeping a secret like that from us. But they don't deserve to get kicked out like that. Those two idiots helped us and proved to be useful."

Mina smirks. "Not to mention they're your friends."

"Classmates, not my friends."

"Whatever you say."

Bakugou smacks his head. "We gotta do something."

"But what? I mean, everyone voted for them to be gone and it's not like we can change their minds."

"I don't like what happened either but what are they going to do? Put us in detention?"

"What do you mean?" Uraraka asks. "Are you..."

"I'm going out there," Bakugou says. "I'm going out there and I'm going to bring those two idiots back home. Safely, and hopefully, sound."

Urarak's eyes widen. "What? You are? You're going to go out there all by yourself? If you don't think those two will make it out their own their own, then why do you think you'll make it there?"

"My quirk is the best of the best." He opens his palms, suppressing his urge to make a mini-explosion to prove his point. "My quirk has more use than anybody in this goddamn social group. I'm going out there and I'm going to bring those two idiots back." He heads to his closet and he pulls out a backpack. He removes several pieces of clothing from his closet and dresser and packs them.

"You're really going to bring them back?" Mina asks. "Really?"

"No, I'm packing my bag for school; what do you fucking think, Racoon Eyes?"

"On your own?"

"Yes."

"Not going to happen," Kirishima says, "you're not going out there on your own. You may be awesome and everything, Bakugou, but you can't take on the entire zombie horde yourself. Sure, you may sweat after a long battle but the zombies don't sweat. And have you killed a beast before?"

"I don't think anyone here killed a beast." Bakugou throws his backpack on.

"I'm coming with you," Kirishima insists.

Bakugou stares at him. "Not going to happen."

"It's non-negotiable."

Bakugou heads out of his room. As he opens the door, he spots Hitoshi Shinsou in his path.

"What are you doing here, baggy eyes?"

"You talk loud," Shinsou says simply.

Ignoring him, he walks past Bakugou. Walking down the hallway and makes it to the common area. He heads to the fridge and pulls out several cans of food and several bottles of water. Packing up his food, he turns to see the rest of his classmates standing in his path. Cocking his head like a curious child, Bakugou addresses everyone in the room, acknowledging them by pressing his lips together.

"I hope that's for some indoor camping plan you have," Kendo says.

"Isn't it obvious," Monoma begins. "Bakugou here is going after the rejects. Losers looking out for other losers."

"Shut up," Bakugou demands, "so what?"

"We took a vote," Kendo reminds them, "the majority wanted the two gone."

"And I don't care. I'm bringing those two idiots back, no matter what any of you say. Understand?"

"This isn't what the people want."

"Like I said; I don't fucking care what you people want. I want Deku and Pikachu back and that is what's going to happen. I'm going to go alone. Just watch. In three days tops, I'm going to bring them back."

"That's not going to happen," Kirishima says. "I'm going with you."

"Yeah, me too."

Everyone turns to Shinsou. "Yeah, even I'm surprised I said that. But last time, when that Bystander guy used his quirk on Bakugou, my quirk saved him. If Deku and Kaminari refuse to come back, then I'll use my quirk on them. Sounds simple enough, right?"

"No," Bakugou shakes his head. "I am going alone, period. I don't want anyone else coming with me."

"I couldn't agree more," Kendo nods. "I've been noticing a trend: whenever we send someone to go save someone, at least one person ends up dying in the process. Aoyama, Iida, Shishida; it's better that one person go."

"I'm going with them," Kirishima insists. "Shinsou is coming along too."

"So am I," Mina yells. "I'm going."

"Me too," Uraraka goes next.

"No," Kendo yells, "nobody is going anywhere. I didn't want it to happen but Deku and Kaminari are gone and we just gotta live with it."

"That's not going to happen and no one else is coming along with me. I can do this rescue on my own, assholes."

"We're sure you can but..." Kirishima clenches his lips together. "I can't forgive myself for not doing more for Deku and Kaminari.'

"It's not your fault," Mina tells him. "Everyone voted him out and-"

"How am I supposed to call myself a man if I can't save someone?!" He clenches his fists. "Bakugou, I'm coming with you, no matter what. If you run off, I'll sneak out and chase after you. Besides, if that happens, what if I get eaten by a zombie? Will you be able to handle my death on your conscience?"

"Shut up, shitty hair."

"No one is going, period," Kendo orders. "If history repeats itself, we could lose more classmates."

"That won't happen," Bakugou tells her. "It won't happen because everyone is going to stay here while I get Deku and Sparky back."

"We're going with you!" Kirishima snaps. "AND THAT'S FINAL!"

"NO!" Kendo yells. "NOBODY IS GOING ANYWHERE! EVERYONE, JUST FUCKING SHUT UP!"

Bakugou bumps into her shoulder as he passes her, heading for the front door. Kendo grabs his shoulder.

"These rescue operations have done nothing but get us killed. Please, please, we took a vote; respect the vote."

"Did you vote for those two to get kicked out?"

"No, but-"

"I'm bringing them back."

"Bring them back," Jirou says, stepping forward. "Please, bring those two idiots back, Bakugou."

"Yeah," Kuroiro nods. "I miss those two guys already."

"We're coming with you," Mina says.

"We are," Uraraka nods.

Bakugou turns to them, glaring. "What do I have to do to get you guys to stay here?"

"Nothing."

"And is that final?"

"It is."

"Three people," Kendo suddenly says. Unclenching her knuckles and relaxing her shoulders, it seems like she suddenly adopts a different attitude. Rubbing her forehead and sighing heavily, she looks at Bakugou and the others. "You may only take three people with you."

Bakugou looks over at her. "Excuse me?"

"I can tell by the look in your eyes and Kirishima's eyes, that you guys are going to go after Deku and Kaminari no matter what. I don't like, I hate that we're losing more people but I can tell that nothing is going to stop you guys from leaving. But..." She closes her eyes. "Four people. That is all I'll allow to go. Four people; I don't want anybody dying, Class 1-A or 1-B. We sent in a large group to save Koji Koda and we lost one person."

"And you think that four people will work?"

"You have a smaller group so it'll be easier to manage each other." She clenches her hands over his shoulder again. "But I will say this: my stance is that you should let the two kids go, stay here, and focus on the people still with us. My stance is that if you go on this rescue mission, at least one of you is going to die. If you come back here, whether you failed to bring the two kids back or not, not even I will want to say these words: 'I told you so'. If so much as a single person in your group dies..."

"No one is going to die," Bakugou assures her. "Unlike you loser, my team is going to bring back Deku and Kaminari without any casualties and you can take that to the bank." Bakugou snatches his shoulder back. "And I can only take three people with me?" He rolls his eyes. "Fine, three people it is." He looks to the group that followed him to the bedroom. "Shitty Hair, you're coming with me. So are you, baggy eyes. And for the third one..."

"Me," Uraraka volunteers.

"No," Bakugou. "If Deku comes back here, I'm pretty sure the first person he'll want to see is you, Pink Cheeks. I can't risk you dying out there so I want you to stay here where your safety is confirmed." He looks to Jirou. "The same thing applies to you, Ears."

Jirou flinches.

"I'll go then," Mina volunteers. "Is that okay?"

Bakugou looks at her. "Racoon Eyes, why?"

She shrugs. "Maybe I feel guilty about not being able to stop Deku and Kaminari from leaving."

Bakugou nods. "Okay, fine then. Me, Shitty Hair, Baggy Eyes, and Racoon Eyes." He turns to Kendo. "We're going out there, saving Deku and Sparky, and we'll be back. Without any casualties."

"You better," Kendo orders, "because I do not want to say 'I told you so'. If so much as one person-"

"It won't happen." Bakugou turns to his squad. "Well then. Pack your bags; we got a couple of idiots to bring back."

"Is this really happening, shroom?" Komori whispers to Kuroiro. "We're going to get our friends back?"

"It is," Kuroiro confirms.

A few minutes later, the rest of the Deku-Kaminari rescue team came down with backpacks. They are about to pack a few cans of food before Bakugou tells them to leave the food for the others and that they can eat the food in his pack. After that, they step through the front doors.

"Are you guys ready?" Bakugou asks the others as he climbs into the SUV they acquired a month ago. "Because this is the point of no return."

"We're ready and we're not afraid," Kirishima proclaims.

"Right," Mina confirms.

"Absolutely," Shinsou nods.

Bakugou looks to Kendo. "We'll see you guys later."

And just like that, the 1-B students open the gates to let the squad through, only to close them immediately after they leave.

Jirou and the rest of the Kamisquad stand in the middle of the yard, staring blankly at the closed gate before turning to each other.

"How long do you think our boys can survive out there?" Kenta asks.

"Bakugou's squad or Deku and Kaminari?" Komori asks.

"They're both pretty powerful," Kuroiro admits.

"Especailly Bakugou," Mineta nods. "He's hot-headed but strong."

"I was referring to Deku and Kaminari," Kenta clarifies.

"They'll make it," Jirou says confidently. "Kaminari survived the hunter beast like one, two, three, four times at least and survived." Somewhere in the darkest corner of her mind, she second-guesses her answer.

A/N: I apologize tremendously for the lack of activity these past few days. I thought I was good to move on but writing fifty chapters in six months sure took a toll on me mentally. I was exhausted; I thought I could pick up and write the third story immediately but I was wrong. I was tired mentally and emotionally and I just wanted a chance to cool down. I'm sorry for not bringing this up earlier but I was still resting. I still want to take a few more days to rest but I will say this: this moment definitely changed my attitude about this series. When I first conceived this series, I had goals of writing four stories in one year but when it actually happened, I mentally burned out. I've always been the kind of person who sets high goals for myself and when I try and reach those goals, I realize how impossible they may be. That's why I've decided to make some changes. Instead of writing four stories a year, I was going to write a trilogy a year. This story is the final installment of the trilogy for this year and now that I've made these changes, I'm a little confident of what I'm capable of. I'll write one story and then I'll take at least one month to recuperate; that's the goal at least and I hope to stick to it.

As for the rest of this story, I'll begin updating again in August. Again, I'm sorry for the long wait but I hope you understand.
