Chapter 12: The World Will Tilt

Akira was impatient as she watched Shuichi load up the last horse. Getting back home wouldn't be hard, but longer than she wanted it to be.

"I know I know. We'll be home soon. Everything with the kingdom will be fine." Shuichi said touching her shoulder. Her eyes softened at him as she sighed.

"I know mother and father will be fine, but-."

BOOM!

"We have to help!" Shuichi ordered as smoke billowed upward from the village.

"NO!" Akira screamed, moments too late as enemies jumped in her path, separating them.

Akira breathed out embers, and watched as they flinched.
