Chapter 4: We're All Victims (Part 1)

In her bedroom at her family home, Sue Snell was sleeping her bed, all snuggled up under bed quilt, when she started breathing rapidly and heavily, as her head started jolting…
*Nightmare begins*
Sue found herself in the locker room at school, as she looked around to see, to her horror, it was the day when Carrie had her period meltdown, as she saw Carrie in the showers from afar, looking down at her Bloodified hands, before she ran out, screaming and crying for help…
"Help! Help Me! Help Me Please!" Carrie cried and screamed, pleading for help, as she grabbed onto Sue's white blouse, staining it with a bloody handprint…
"Get off me you Freak!" Sue's former self gasped, shrugging the terrified girl off.
"Please Help me, I think I'm Bleeding to Death!" Carrie continued to scream and plead for help.
"Oh my God, It's Period Blood…" Chris said, as she, Sue and everyone else began laughing at Carrie, as she continued screaming and crying. "It's just Period Blood, Just Plug it Up.
Chris and everyone began grabbing and throwing tampons at the terrified Carrie, laughing and chanting 'Plug it up' causing her to back up, falling to the floor, still crying and screaming in pain, pleading for help, as Chris recorded the incident on her phone, while everyone watched, still laughing at Carrie…
"Stop! Stop it! STOP IT CHRIS!" Sue cried, as she charged towards Chris to push her over…
But before Sue could stop Chris, everything suddenly changed, Sue found herself locked outside of gymnasium by Rita Desjardin, during Prom Night, as Sue's hands banged into the clocked doors, as she saw everyone clapping and cheering for Carrie & Tommy on the stage… before Carrie was doused by the Pig's Blood from Chris's Prank, As Sue watched in failure & horror, Before Tina replayed Chris's video, causing everyone to laugh at Carrie once again… Sue felt helpless to do anything, as she continued to bang on the door, trying to get it open… Until she saw Carrie push Tommy and Rita away with her powers, before the bucket came down, hitting the back of Carrie's head, as she fell to the stage floor, Dead…
"NO! CARRIE!" Sue screamed in tears of shame and guilt, before everything changed again…
Sue now found herself in the hospital room, where she found Carrie, lying on her deathbed, while the hospital life-support machinery monitored her heartbeat & pulse. Sue made her way over to Carrie's unresponsive body, as she saw herself, Tommy & Rita outside the room, watching & hoping Carrie would live and pull through… As Sue looked down at Carrie, she felt so much guilt and shame for all she had done to Carrie, alongside Chris and all her friends, with more tears forming in her eyes. Sue then tried to hold onto Carrie's right hand, but as she touched Carrie's hand, Carrie's body suddenly fitted, causing Sue to gasp and cover her face, knowing this was the exact moment Carrie died… As the Doctors then used the Defibrillator to restart Carrie's body, all 3 attempts failed, before the doctors announced Carrie's time of death, as Sue could see herself, Tommy & Rita all breaking down in tears, hugging each other, as the Doctors switched off the Life support… Sue then collapsed to the ground, screaming in tears, as everything around her changed again…
Sue now found herself kneeling before Carrie's grave in the local cemetery, just like from yesterday, where she noticed the White Rose that she had placed in the grave… Sue continued to cry, looking down at Carrie's grave, as she slowly and gently placed her hand down upon the grass covered soil of the grave, When suddenly…
A Bloodified arm burst through the earth, violently grabbing Sue's wrist, trying to pull her down, as Sue screamed in absolute terror…
*Nightmare ends*
Sue suddenly awoke, shotting up in a loud gasping scream, breathing heavily and rapidly in shock, before realizing It was just another nightmare, as well as shedding more tears for the first anniversary of Carrie's death…
"Sue! Sue, baby, are you ok?" Sue's Mother: Eleanor Snell said, as she came rushing in, with her husband/Sue's Father: James Snell, and their younger daughter/Sue's Younger sister: Sierra Snell, who were also concerned for their eldest daughter/sister…
"Sorry Guys, it just another nightmare of… You know…" Sue sniffed in sorrow, as Eleanor gave her a gentle hug, knowing along with James and Sierra, how Sue was feeling, also knowing it was now a yearly anniversary since what happened to Carrie…
(Later on, that morning…)
After Sue had gotten washed & clean, dressed in some of her popular everyday clothing, she made her way downstairs, then into the kitchen to get breakfast with her family, where Eleanor was frying up pancakes & waffles, while James and Sierra were sat at the dinner table, James was watching the Kitchen TV, while Sierra was on her phone, until they both saw Sue coming to join them…
"Are you feeling any better sweetheart?" James asked his eldest daughter in concern, as Sue sat down beside Sierra.
"A little bit, dad…" Sue said, trying to cope with her self-Grief and shame.
"Don't worry sis, we know it's a hard time for you, but no matter what happens, we're all here for you." Sierra said, comforting her older sister, as Eleanor brought them all breakfast...
As the family ate their breakfast, The News came on…
"Good morning, and welcome to your Breakfast News: In the Early hours of this morning, A body was found in a vandalized bungalow on Carlin Street, in Chamberlain, Maine…" The News Reporter announced, which caught the attention of all the Snells, especially Sue, recognizing the image of the Bungalow, as Carrie's former home…
"That's Carrie's house…" Sue said in shock…
"The Body has been identified as 48-Year-Old Margaret Brigham White, who was found dead in her bedroom. Authorities are still investigating into Mrs. White's cause of death, but this incident is a tragically eerie reminder of a coincidental incident that happened at this exact time of year in 2013, last year, when Margaret's 17-Year-Old daughter: Carrietta Nadine White, was tragically killed at Thomas Ewen Highschool during Senior Prom Night…" The News Reporter continued…
"Oh God…" Eleanor gasped in shock.
Sue's Phone then buzzed, as Sue looked, it was a Text from Tommy reading: Sue, look at the News, Carrie's mother has died…
Sue texted back: I've literally just seen it…
"In other news this morning, in Chamberlain still, a grave at the local cemetery was vacant this morning, The Identity of the grave is yet to be identified, as the Gravestone was very badly vandalized & damaged, police are on the lookout for possible grave robbers, as well as witnesses…" The News Reporter continued again…
(Later on, that day...)
Sue & Sierra were on their way to school, dreading another day of being at school, especially having to be around Chris and all her former friends, along with all those who mocked Carrie, seeing that those who were close with Chris, had now turned their bullying onto Sue, branding her as a 'traitorous Freak', to their now dead friendship… As much as Sue believed she was just as responsible for Carrie's death as Chris was, she felt she was getting more of the blame than Chris, despite being supported by Tommy, George, Erika, their other friends & families, and Miss Desjardin, Chris and her friends would just continue to torment Sue especially… Now Sue truly knew what it was like, to be Carrie White…
As Sue & Sierra made their way towards the school entrance, they saw Chris, Billy, Tina, and the rest of their friends, laughing, singing & chanting: 'The Wicked Witch is dead', from the Wizard of Oz, while playing the song on speakers, & shouting it loudly through Megaphones, holding up vandalized pictures of Carrie's mother, seeing more of how cruel Chris and all of Sue's former friends truly were…
"Don't bother with them sis, they'll only get themselves in more trouble…" Sierra said, trying to comfort her big sister.
"Anything but…" Sue sighed sadly, knowing whatever happens, Chris will get away with it…
"Sue! Sierra!" Tommy called, as the Snell sisters turned their attention to Tommy & George, who came over to her…
"Those freaks have no respect for anyone, not even the dead…" Sue sighed scornfully…
"Ignore them, they deserve whatever fate throws at them…" Tommy sighed agreeingly, before he and George escorted Sue into the school…
As They walked up to the school, Sue thought she saw something… or someone, looking through a window of one of the classrooms higher up. Sue saw what looked like a dark figure, but with long blonde hair, lightened up by the daylight, looking down at her… but as Sue blinked her eyes, the figure was gone…
"You ok Sue?" Tommy asked, as Sue rubbed and blinked her eyes.
What's the matter Sue?" George also asked.
"Thought I saw someone or something…" Sue said, regaining her vision.
Before Tommy or George could ask, the group were barged past by Chris's gang, still singing and chanting the song with megaphones, even at Sue sadistically, before running off into the school laughing with everyone as usual… Sue once again felt like everyone was blaming her for Carrie's death more than Chris, But Sierra, Tommy & George supported her, as they all continued into school…
Unbeknown to anyone, as everyone made their way to class, Carrie had been watching everything from one of the darker corridors. Despite remembering that Sue was among those who tormented her all her life, leading up to her tragic fate, Carrie couldn't help but feel a spark of sorrow and pity for Sue, as well as Sierra, Tommy, George, but also her still growing hatred for Chris and her friends, seeing they were still as cruel as ever, and somehow got away with her own murder, showing that now she was gone, they're bullying hadn't stopped at her, but just moved their bullying onto someone else… Carrie decided to keep an eye on them, especially Sue, after establishing that she was now feeling exactly what she, Chris and everyone had put her through, as she walked down another dark corridor, while keeping out of range of any security cameras, as well as avoiding contact with anyone in the school…
(Later on, during the day…)
As everyone was beginning English Class, All the Carrie's former class, consisting of: Sue, Sierra, Tommy, George, Chris, Tina, Nicki & Lizzy Watson, Heather Shyres, Rachel Spies, Anissa Chen, Jessica Upshaw, Jackie Talbot & Kenny Garson, were studying in class, under the teachings of Mr Ullman, the English Teacher, and another of Carrie's Tormentors…
Even since Senior Year, Ullman had been tormenting Carrie, just as badly as Chris and everyone else, most notably, during one English class last year, where the students were to stand before the class and read out their favorite childhood poems. Upon Carrie sharing hers, everyone (Except Sue, Tommy & George), just laughed at her, along with Ullman, who also laughed and criticized Carrie, saying they'll all have nightmares from her poem, before Tommy secretly intervened, branding Ullman an 'Asshole', and for good reason… Little did anyone know, he began bullied Carrie along with the class, under seductive influence of Tina, whom they'd began an affair, which they'd managed to keep a very big secret, knowing if it was discovered, Ullman would lose his job, and be put on a sex offender's register… The only ones to truly know this were Chris & Billy, who aided them in keeping it a secret, which was still going on now… During Carrie's Bloody crowning ceremony at the prom last year, when Tina replayed Chris's Video, he laughed at Carrie, as well as nearly everyone else, but when Carrie was hit by the bucket, and later learning that Carrie had tragically passed away in the hospital, followed by Chris, Billy, Tina and several others being arrested for it, he was also questioned about the incident, but instead of telling the real truth, he provided Chris, Billy, Tina and everyone with false alibis, to prevent them from going to jail… A year later, Ullman was still just as bad as before, still seeing Tina secretly, and was now turning his bullying influences towards Sue & Tommy, seeing as Sue nearly got Chris, Tina & everyone sent down, as well as Tommy for branding him an asshole…
"Okay Class, Let's begin another awesome session…" Mr Ullman said gleefully, as nearly everyone chuckled, apart from Sue, Sierra, Tommy and George, as Ullman immediately took notice… "Morning Sue, Sierra, Tommy & George, didn't realise you were all in class today…"
Everyone chuckled, looking at them, especially Sue, who just ignored them and looked away and concentrated on her work…
Unbeknown to the class, Carrie was watching & listening from right outside, standing a safe enough distance behind the shadows of the walls and door framing, where she could see everyone, but they couldn't see her. Carrie kept a watchful on those who still respected her, despite being unaware of her return of the grave, especially Sue, as she watched them being picked on by everyone else, including Mr Ullman, as Carrie turned her attention to him…
*Flashbacks*
Carrie remembered the English class, where she read out her poem to everyone, only to be laughed at by everyone, especially Mr Ullman…
"Thanks for giving us all nightmares…" Ullman said sarcastically.
"Asshole…" Tommy whispered loudly.
*Flashbacks End*
Carrie quietly gave a small giggle from remembering what Tommy called Mr Ullman, as she then heard him, along with Chris and the others continuing to bully Sue, Sierra, Tommy and George, in very similar manners to how they picked on her… Carrie's mind was boiling with pity and sorrow for them, but also anger and rage, scrunching her fists, which was causing all the class windows, inside & out to start shaking slightly, to no one's notice…
"Sue, are you still trying to save a girl who died a year ago?" Ullman asked sadistically, as everyone chucked with him.
"I could have if you lot hadn't laughed at her and then killed her!" Sue snapped, having had enough.
"Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, there's no need to get feisty, the police proved everyone's innocence…" Ullman teased more…
"To your conveniences only, asshole!" Tommy intervened, standing up for Sue.
"You can talk Ross…" Jackie joined in…
You're the one who cheated on Sue at Prom." Kenny added on…
"Shut up, I asked Tommy to take Carrie to prom! I tried to make up for our mistakes, but Horrid Hargensen over there decided to ruin it, like everything else she touches!" Sue snapped again, as Chris gasped sarcastically from the insult.
"Ok, Ok, class, let's not fight here, we should show some respect for the late Cassie White." Ullman teased again, trying to calm to the situation…
"IT'S CARRIE, ASSHOLE!" Carrie screamed like a rage filled banshee, causing her to send out a massive telekinetic shockwave, that made all the shaking classroom windows, doors, and other things made to glass to explode, causing everyone to gasp and scream in fright, as they all got up and ran from their desks, trying to avoid the flying and falling shards of glass… Carrie's telekinetic shockwave had also set the fire alarm off, which would have alerted everyone else in the building…
"What the hell was that?!" Ullman asked, as everyone else in the room looked at each other in shock and confusion…
Mr Ullman then noticed, from the corner of his eye, he saw the slight outline of a dark female figure with blonde hair, inches behind the door framing, just as the figure disappeared behind the door framing…
"Hey!" Ullman called as he ran towards where he saw the figure…
Mr Ullman looked down the corridor the way the figure went, but he couldn't see anyone, he even looked the other direction, no one was there, leaving him in a shocked and spooked state…
