Chapter two:

It has been two days since Kaoru helped the little girl. He is glad that things have been pretty normal.

Hikaru is getting some study advice from Haruhi in the club room for an upcoming test. He picked this spot to not be disturbed by anyone plus no one really has to see what is going on.

Kaoru is walking down the hallway alone deciding that a walk will be nice. He however can't shake the feeling that he is being followed. He pauses in his walk to glance around not seeing anyone around. His feeling of being watched doesn't go away so someone must be there yet are hiding for some reason. He is feeling pretty creeped out and decides to start walking towards where others are just in case. He isn't sure what or who is there however he isn't really sure that he wants to find out. He heads forward to get to the turn up ahead that will lead him to a place with at least some people. He yelps since as soon as he reaches the corner a dark figure steps out then he is grabbed from behind. He struggles as a bag is put over his head blocking his vision, a gloved hand covering his mouth to keep him from screaming, his arms pinned to his sides by whoever is holding him, feet slightly raised off the ground so he can't use that to try to help him escape, and he is taken away somewhere through the school. His heart is racing as he struggles as hard as he can. He doesn't know why he was suddenly grabbed but he does know that his life could be in great danger. He just can't seem to get free. He is suddenly placed down and the bag is removed. He is about to run only to freeze with his eyes wide as he finds himself facing Nekozawa in a place only lit by candles. He glances back to see a lady and a man who bow like they are some kind of servants. He turns back to Nekozawa. "What the heck man!?" He questions truly not pleased about suddenly being kidnapped like this.

"Excuse our way of getting you here. I wanted it to be as discreet as possible. And just asking you to come would leave you with questions. Likely you'd talk to your friends or brother. I didn't want that." Nekozawa explains actually sounding apologetic.

Kaoru crosses his arms over his chest as he watches the other. "Okay. Well you got me here. So what is so important that you had to kidnap me to see me?" He really doesn't understand what is going on and some of his adrenaline is still attempting to calm down.

"I wanted to thank you." Nekozawa's words throw Kaoru off heavily as he was not expecting those words to come from the other though the surprise is quickly followed by confusion at what he is being thanked for. "Ah yes. Allow me to explain." He can clearly see the confusion that Kaoru is having over the sudden gratefulness. "You see I saw you that day. You helped my little sister. With a talent that you seem to want to keep hidden no less."

Kaoru takes a moment as his shock and confusion dies down to process what the other is saying. His eyes widen as he realizes what Nekozawa means. "Wait. You're Umehito?!" He gets a nod from the other.

"I just prefer to be called Nekozawa." Nekozawa explains to Kaoru. "I wanted to go to help her however I could not bring myself to even try to step into the light. I am very grateful that you were at least there to help her in her time of need."

"Oh. Yeah you're welcome. I'm sure anyone else would have done it."

Nekozawa hums at this. "Perhaps. However it was you who found her and helped her even taking the time to soothe her despite that even I could see you were nervous about singing to her." He chuckles as Kaoru slightly glances away embarrassed that he was heard. "Do not be embarrassed. You truly have a talent. One that is very good and has not been seen in a long time in my opinion. And one that is worth sharing. You'll be famous in no time." He shrugs a little. "Well I suppose it isn't my place to tell you what to do. Don't you worry though I will keep your secret until you are ready to show others your talent for it." He clears his throat. "Kaoru. I want you to tell me what I can do to thank you for helping my little sister."

Kaoru looks to Nekozawa once more with a blink of surprise. "Oh. No its okay. I don't need anything." He raises his hands in slight surrender though lightly waves them to try to tell the other to not worry about it. He puts his hands down a little after.

"Come now." Nekozawa takes a step closer to the younger twin. "Surely there must be something that you need or want to allow me to show my gratitude to you."

Kaoru shifts starting to feel a little uncomfortable with the pushiness of the other. "Really. I don't need anything. Just don't tell anyone about my singing. That's all."

Nekozawa stares at him for a long moment before backing off. "Alright. Well if you ever change your mind feel free to come see me. I will always welcome you." He nods to the lady servant who opens a door as Kaoru turns to look, the light doesn't shine in due to some kind of black half see through fabric that shows light on the other side, before waiting to let Kaoru take his time. "Thank you again Kaoru."

Kaoru gives a final glance to Nekozawa to which he gives a 'you're welcome' nod then he heads out finding the fabric parts in the middle like curtains. He heads to go to the courtyard needing some fresh air after what had just happened. He sits on the edge of the fountain trying to fully wrap his head around what had just occurred. He had never expected that to happen out of all things. He also really hopes that Nekozawa truly doesn't share that he can sing. He mentally tells himself that he needs to trust the other in doing so since Nekozawa truly did sound grateful for what Kaoru had done. He jumps a little when his phone goes off. He checks it to see that Hikaru texted him to say that he is done and offers to spend the last few minutes before next class with him. He agrees and heads to meet his brother. He decides to not tell him since he still wants a bit to digest what had happened to him today. He will probably tell Hikaru at some point just when he has had a bit more time to let it settle in his head.
