Chapter 16 Kung Fu Goodbye

Sora, Riku, Donald, and Goofy helped Lei, Hong, and Yun carry the Shifu out of the school of the Indomitable Fist. The elites and other students had heard that Ou Di Wan Lee had been defeated by a student of the Earthen Heart and were completely stunned. The students gathered together and faced the heroes. Sora and his allies thought the students of the Indomitable Fist might try to seek revenge for their master, but didn't. Instead one student stepped up and asked a question.
"Which one of you defeated Master Ou Di Wan Lee?"
"It was me, though I had help from my allies. I am Lei Kugo former apprentice, now master of the Earthen Heart Kung Fu School." Said Lei.
"Then you are the strongest in the lands! Teach us your Kung Fu so we may strong like you!" Said the student.
"You may join our school, but you must forget and renounce what you learned at the Indomitable Fist. At the Earthen Heart we value things like trust and camaraderie and I will not soil my master's teachings by having them be stepped on and abandoned. Understand?" Said Lei.
"Yes...master." Said the student as he and the others bowed.
"Looks like Shifu's dream will become true." Said Yun.
"So many mouths to feed." Said Hong.
"We may have a lot more students, but we got a long way to go to spread the teachings of the Earthen Heart." Said Lei.
"That may be true, but with Ou Di Wan Lee out of the picture, you won't have too much trouble to deal with." Said Riku.
"Yeah, plus I think you'll make a great teacher." Said Sora.
"And will help you." Said Yun as Hong nodded his head in agreement.
"Thank you all." Said Lei with a smile already feeling confident.
The group headed back to the Earthen Heart school and then walked always a bit to a place that had a good view of the mountains. There they buried the Shifu and put up a tiny tombstone.
"To the man who was my teacher and the closes thing I actually had to a father in a long time. I promise to do you proud and teach and spread the ways of the Earthen Heart." Said Lei bowing her head to the grave.
Sora, Riku, Donald, and Goofy said their goodbyes and headed back to the gummi ship to continue on to the next era of time to start another adventure.
