She could feel it – both the love she'd always felt for Trevor-nii, and the tenderness she wasn't quite ready to admit to anyone that she'd started feeling for Mamoru-baka – building inside her like a strange kind of warmth. Usagi had also found herself crying, looking down at the sleeping forms of Trevor-nii and Mamoru-baka, and the strange energy grew stronger and warmer inside her as she looked down at them.
Usagi didn't quite know what she was doing at the moment, but the feel of something in her hands kept her attention from wandering too far into what might have been going on with the energy she could feel inside herself.
She heard the sound of running footsteps, and while the warm energies inside her had caused Usagi to close her eyes for a long moment, when she opened them Usagi could see the rest of the Sailor Senshi gathered all around her.
"Usagi-chan!" Luna-sensei called, and Usagi found both her and Artemis standing close together, just a few steps away from where Trevor-nii and Mamoru-baka were laying. "You're the Moon Princess!"
"I- Well, I guess I am," she said, offering as best a smile as she could, even as she leaned down to pull Trevor-nii and Mamoru-baka's heads into her lap.
Maybe the Moon Stick and the Silver Crystal – both of which she'd been holding without even knowing it – could help to wake them up. Before Usagi could do much more than wonder how she could use the Moon Stick to help her brother and the boy she wasn't quite ready to admit out loud that she cared for, she found herself under attack by Zoisite. Holding up the Moon Stick, Usagi used it to knock Zoisite back into a bookcase.
She heard the sound of that same bookcase falling, but by then Usagi had turned her attention back to Trevor-nii and Mamoru-baka. There had to be a way to use the Moon Stick to help them…

He could see the three of them – what looked like him, Usagi-chan, and Trevor-kohai – standing in what looked like some kind of courtyard. Mamoru could almost remember the names they'd had, back when they'd lived their lives in the Silver Millenium: his own name had been Endymion, he'd been the Prince of Earth, just as Nephrite-san had told him. Usagi-chan's name had been Serenity; she had actually been the Moon Princess he had been searching for for so long.
It was a strange thing to think about, but maybe that was why he'd felt so strangely drawn to her, ever since the pair of them had first met.
Trevor-kohai's name… After a long moment, Mamoru realized that he didn't know what Trevor-kohai's name had been, when he'd lived in the Silver Millenium. As more memories unspooled inside his mind, Mamoru realized that neither Endymion nor Serenity had had the chance to ask him his name. Not before Beryl had attacked and killed them.
The only thing that Mamoru could remember about the previous life that Trevor-kohai had lived during the Silver Millenium were the facts that he'd worn the same colors as Ami-chan when she was Sailor Mercury, as well as the clasp with the symbol of Mercury that held the short, blue-lined white cape over his shoulders. He was also wearing a blue, brimless hat that tapered inward slightly.
However, as he tried to think back on anything he could remember about the life that Trevor-kohai had lived during the Silver Millenium, Mamoru felt some kind of warmth – some kind of strange energy – beginning to fill him up…
Opening his eyes, Mamoru found himself looking up into a face that he recognized from two lifetimes, now.
"Serenity," he muttered, smiling softly as he found himself waking up at last, then he turned at the sound of Trevor-kohai as the younger boy slowly awakened, himself.
"I remember you, Endymion," Usagi-chan – that was who she was now, even though she'd been someone else before – said, a gentler smile on her face than he'd ever seen aimed at him in this particular lifetime.
Before any of them could say anything else – or, as Mamoru had been planning, to ask Trevor-kohai what his old name had been – Usagi transformed from the form of Princess Serenity back into Sailor Moon, then passed out on top of the both of them. He and Trevor-kohai caught her as well as they could manage while still lying down, slowly lowering Usagi-chan to the floor as the pair of them stood back up.
Still feeling a little weak, after whatever had been thrown at him while he'd been fighting Kunzite, Mamoru braced himself as Kunzite himself teleported in to reinforce Zoisite. One of his bookshelves had been knocked over, and given the way that it looked like it had been thrown, Mamoru suspected that the bookshelf in question had ended up landing on one of them. Kunzite and Zoisite were back, and the both of them looked like they were ready and willing to keep fighting for the rest of the night.
The floor seemed to tilt under him for a long moment, and even the support of the rest of the Sailor Senshi couldn't quite manage to stop him from stumbling. And, even the feel of Trevor-kohai's hands reaching out to hold him up couldn't distract him from the sight of a bubble of what looked like pure darkness appearing around the both of them. He heard shouting voices, just before he and Trevor-kohai were taken somewhere else…

It was cold, almost like he'd been submerged in slushy, half-frozen water. He wondered if he'd somehow managed to fall into one of the fountains in the courtyard beneath Mariner Castle. But, last he could remember, he'd been working with his father in his father's personal laboratory, helping him with a project that his father had been working on. So, he couldn't have rolled into one of the fountains.
He couldn't think of why he felt like he'd been dropped into one of the fountains in Princess Mercury's courtyard, but he could almost feel something tugging at him. Something just beyond his senses… Something that seemed strangely familiar, but somehow…
Somehow, he didn't think he could trust it…

After Trevor-kohai and Mamoru-kun had been taken from the one place that Rei thought they would have been as safe as anyone could be, Rei had found herself lifting Usagi-chan up onto Mako-chan's back. It didn't seem like Usagi-chan was going to be able to wake up anytime soon, so they needed to get out of there as fast as they could.
"Ami-chan, are you sure that no one's following us?" she asked, falling in closely behind Mako-chan so that she would be able to protect the both of them.
"I'm not picking up any of the anomalies that precede the teleportation the Dark Kingdom uses," Ami-chan said, turning back to look at Mako-chan and Usagi-chan for a long moment, before they all set off again.
There was really only one place that they could be safe, given how the Dark Kingdom was inevitably going to be hunting for the rest of them, and so the five of them were headed for the Hikawa Shrine. Back home, where Grandpa waited for them, alongside Nephrite-san and Jadeite-san. Rei knew that it wasn't going to be easy, explaining to the pair of them what had happened to Mamoru-kun and Trevor-kohai, but she hoped that hearing it from them would make things at least a bit easier.
The sound of Usagi-chan waking up drew her attention before Rei could start thinking too much about how she and the other Senshi were going to explain what had happened to Mamoru-kun in particular.
"Sailor Moon, are you all right?" she asked, since they were beginning to hear the sounds of emergency response vehicles making their way towards Mamoru-kun's damaged apartment.
"I didn't even know his name," Usagi-chan said, wincing as glittering tears began trickling down her cheeks.
"Didn't know whose name?" Mako-chan asked, before Rei or anyone else could ask that same question.
"Trevor-nii," Usagi-chan shook her head, spilling more tears down her cheeks. "I mean, the person Trevor-nii was before," her breath hitched, and Rei went over to gently rub her back, wishing she could have done more to help, but this seemed to be one more thing that Usagi-chan would need to face on her own. "He died in my arms, and I didn't even know his name." Still sniffling, Usagi-chan climbed down from Mako-chan's back, looking around for the two members of their group who weren't there anymore. "Did… did something happen to them?"
"The enemy took them while we were distracted," Rei said, gathering her composure when Usagi-chan's face wilted and she began crying harder. "But we're going to get them back, Sailor Moon. I promise you that."
"Once we all make it back to the shrine, there's something I need to tell you," Artemis said, sounding more than a little like Luna-sensei. "Now that the Moon Princess has awakened, it's more important than ever."
"Right," Rei answered, along with the rest of the Sailor Senshi, though Usagi-chan was still clearly worried about what might have been happening to their two comrades.
Rei would have been more worried, herself, if she hadn't already set her mind on the fact that they were going to rescue the both of them from the Dark Kingdom.
Hurrying at their full speed back to her home at the Hikawa Shrine, Rei made sure to keep an eye out for anyone from the Dark Kingdom who might be following them. Once they'd all made it onto the warded grounds of the shrine, Artemis turned to Luna-sensei.
"Luna, now that the Moon Princess has awakened, have the rest of your memories come back?" Artemis asked, as the five of them all settled down at a low table together.
"Yes, all of them have been coming back more and more clearly," Luna-sensei said, nodding.
"Wait, are you guys talking about what Usagi-chan remembered, just a bit ago?" Mako-chan asked.
"Yes, it's about our past lives," Mina-chan said, looking about as serious as Rei had ever seen the other girl acting. "And the Moon Kingdom Silver Millennium."
"It was a long time ago," Artemis said, picking up the thread of their conversation again. "There was a kingdom called Silver Millennium on the moon."
"It was a peaceful place, a paradise," Luna-sensei said, sounding sad as she looked down at the table.

As Luna-sensei and Artemis talked, each seeming to be picking up the thread of discussion as soon as one of them finished, Usagi found that she could remember more and more about what they were talking about: the garden, the castle, her old mother Queen Serenity, and the feelings she'd shared with Endymion. But, she also remembered how horrible the attack had been.
She remembered the love that she and Endymion had shared, and she remembered watching helplessly as he ran off into battle, even as Trevor-nii – who hadn't even been Trevor-nii, then – lay dying in her arms, his heart pierced through by one of Beryl's horrible crystal spears.
"So, we all used to live on the Moon together?" Usagi asked, sniffling as she tried to push the thoughts of losing Endymion and that boy who had done nothing but try to help them when Beryl had been attacking, and then losing Mamoru-kun and Trevor-nii in almost the same way.
"In the lives we had before this one, yes," Mina-chan said, as Usagi wiped her eyes and tried to regain her composure.
Rei-chan would have probably been more grumpy about that, if everything that had happened wasn't getting to her, too.
"The Queen of the Moon wanted all of you to live happy lives here on Earth, so you were all born naturally to your parents in this era," Luna-sensei said, and Usagi found that she couldn't quite keep herself from sniffling again.
"Not all of us were happy, though," she said, thinking of Trevor-nii again, and also what he'd said about Mamoru-kun.
"Yes, and even in this peaceful era, someone has released that evil entity," Artemis-sensei – who had enough in common with Luna-sensei that Usagi figured the two of them could share the title – said, seeming as serious as Luna-sensei usually did when she was talking about the Dark Kingdom.
"That evil entity is the one really in command of the Dark Kingdom, isn't it?" Ami-chan asked.
"Yes, it is," Luna-sensei said, nodding. "If none of this had happened, you all could have lived happy lives as ordinary people," she looked down slightly, sighing. "Though, I guess some lives would have been happier than others." Luna-sensei looked back up, becoming serious all over again. "But, unless we protect the Silver Crystal and defeat the Dark Kingdom, no one is going to have any peace."
"We have a mission to stop the Dark Kingdom," Mina-chan – or maybe it was Sailor Venus – said, sounding serious and stern. "We can't allow what happened to the Moon Kingdom happen here, on Earth."
"Yeah, you're right," Usagi said, though she still felt shaken after everything she'd seen; everything she could remember living through. "Trevor-nii and Mamoru-kun, they're counting on us to come and save them," she continued, looking down at her hands. "And everyone else, too. My parents, and your parents, everyone from school. They're all counting on us."
Wiping her eyes, wishing that Trevor-nii could be here to comfort her – wishing that she could even just give him a hug – Usagi looked back up at the rest of the Sailor Senshi, all gathered around her. They all looked varying degrees of proud of her. She also saw Nephrite-kun and Jadeite-kun making their way into the room, and she smiled when she saw that Jadeite-kun was holding a bowl of daifuku.
He said it was repayment, but Usagi got the feeling that he enjoyed it, too.
"We need to start making plans," Nephrite-kun said, looking as serious as Luna-sensei had sounded. "Beryl's inevitably going to be seeking to capitalize on her new hostages."
When Nephrite-kun said that, he had a look on his face, like he was hoping that Trevor-nii and Mamoru-kun her only hostages; but also like he was remembering what Beryl had done to him and his three friends. And, thinking about it like that… Usagi shuddered, deciding that she would hope that Trevor-nii and Mamoru-kun were only Beryl's hostages, too.

Looking down into the familiar, lovely face of Prince Endymion, Beryl found that finally having the schoolboy in her grasp felt almost like a secondary victory. True, the schoolboy possessed vast reserves of energy that would now be put to use for the Dark Kingdom, but Beryl had loved Prince Endymion since they day she had first set eyes on him. It was what had made his petty infatuation with Princess Serenity all the more infuriating.
The Prince of Earth hadn't even looked her way, once his eyes had fallen upon that pitiful Moon Princess and he'd ended up running off to the moon in pursuit of her.
She was going to keep that from happening, even if she had to erase every last memory he possessed of that pathetic girl. Pleasantly, the schoolboy was simpler, having only met Serenity at the end of his other life. Still, he was rather interesting in his own right; Beryl had hardly been expecting to find a Mercurian on the moon, of all places.

She'd been searching for Usagi-chan ever since the newly-awakened Moon Princess had left the room where the rest of the Sailor Senshi had been staying with Nephrite-kun and Jadeite-kun as they made plans to protect themselves from whatever the Dark Kingdom might try against them next. Rei finally managed to find the other girl, praying in the main shrine over a pair of teruterubozu that looked just like Mamoru-kun and Trevor-kohai.
"Usagi-chan," she called softly, making her way over to where the other girl was kneeling. "We're going to get them back, Usagi-chan."
"Yeah," Usagi-chan said, nodding as she wiped her eyes. "Yeah, we will. We're going to bring them home."
